I stayed at the hotel in October 2024, the impressions were amazing, from the meeting when making a reservation to the farewell. Many thanks to all the staff and the hotel administration, everything was at the highest level. Very cozy — warm with all the amenities room with a stunning view of the sea, convenient location of the hotel (market, embankment within walking distance). I did not want to leave you and of course a great desire to return!

Everything would have been great, but unfortunately the headphones disappeared from the room. Unfortunately, the administrators threw up their hands and began to convince that you probably lost them. But how can you prove that when I left in the morning I left them on the table and told my roommate who was standing at the door with me that I would not take them today, because we are going for a ride in jeeps, and I put them on the table in front of her. Yes, it was a mistake to leave a valuable thing in the room of this hotel.

We rested at the Akra Hotel together with my wife Lena from October 17 to 21. We arrived at the hotel around 8 pm by private transfer from the Eucalyptus Grove boarding house in the village of Kyndyg. We escaped from there after three days of rest; it was impossible to stay there due to the abundance of insects — flying marbled bugs. The Akra Hotel was booked on the same day in the morning of October 17 through Booking. Com. And so, we arrived at 8 pm. The hotel area is small, but well-groomed and clean, there is a bright flower lawn in front of the entrance. There is a terrace where you can have lunch or just relax in the shade. Cozy reception with soft armchairs and sofas. You can pay by card! Wi-Fi works well throughout the entire territory. A silent elevator carries you across the floors. The Akra Hotel immediately struck me from the reception with its cleanliness. Immediately at the entrance there is a water cooler and a disinfectant dispenser. We were checked in immediately and given room 504 on the 5th floor. The room is large and clean, comfortable and spacious, tastefully decorated, on the left at the entrance there is a large tall wardrobe, opposite the bathroom. The room itself has a large double bed, opposite a long table with a TV hanging above it, the room also has THREE armchairs and two ottomans (! ). And this is in one room! The room, as we requested, had a small balcony with a side sea view.

I really liked the hotel, we went with a large group of children, booked 3 rooms, the staff is very nice, there are beach towels, shampoo, gel, soap, everything is provided. Linen is changed and rooms are cleaned every 2 days. Breakfast had a good choice and we were all full. The beach is nearby, you can choose a place you like, there is also sand 🙂 The whole vacation was great, no one from our company caught the rotavirus 👍

Excellent location, 10 minutes walk to the center, next to the central market. The staff is top five, Nana — special respect to you, you are smart. The breakfasts were delicious, we didn’t go hungry, you can also order lunch at the hotel, a separate plus is that they provide beach towels, gels/shampoos/soaps are provided every day. This time the trip to Abkhazia was pleasant.

Excellent hotel, cozy, clean rooms but only double rooms! If you're traveling alone, but if you're staying in a group, I think it's not very interesting to live with strangers! But this is purely my opinion! And everything is wonderful, there are even bathrobes!

I really liked the hotel, at the end of April we were the only guests, so we were not deprived of attention, we talked with the administrator every day and shared our impressions. This is a new five-story building, with a total of 33 rooms to suit every taste, all with sea views. The beach and embankment are 150 meters away, the central city market and public transport stops are nearby. Breakfast is included in the price, custom made — 5 options. There is a summer cafe and a small parking lot. Also, a theater troupe that came on tour stayed in this hotel for the May holidays, an interesting neighborhood for breakfast. I recommend visiting.

The hotel is new, very clean, the rooms are modern, well renovated — ideal.
There are all the necessary towels, including for the beach, and the bed linen is changed every 4 days.
Every day there is cleaning with replenishment of toiletries (paper, soap, shampoo, gel), there is always hot water and electricity, which is not the case everywhere in Abkhazia. Comfortable mattresses, comfortable sleep, TV and a small balcony with a clothes dryer.
The food is good, you won't go hungry, but we made our own coffee for breakfast, because… We don’t like local instant. There is a menu of 6 breakfast options — porridge, cottage cheese, pasta, omelet, salad, etc. Not very varied, but quite edible. Breakfast is included in the price. If you wish, you can pay for lunch and dinner, but it was more comfortable for us to eat in a new place every day.
There are gazebos on the street, a small garden near the veranda, it’s nice to sit in the evening, Wi-Fi works in the entire hotel and rooms, it’s fast. There is always a cooler with hot and cold water in the hall. It’s realistic to walk 5 minutes to the sea at a calm pace, and 15 minutes to the tourist center.
If you are going to Sukhum, this is one of the best hotels for a good price with pleasant service and a good location!

We vacationed in Abkhazia in June. We lived in Sukhum at the Akra Hotel. Probably the best hotel in Sukhum: a modern new building, very nice clean rooms, clean linen in the rooms, a full set of bath towels and shower accessories that are regularly replenished, a large bathroom. The rooms have quiet Midea air conditioners that work great. A kettle will be provided in your room upon request. There is an ironing board and iron on each floor. There are also free beach towels. All this can be the envy of many European 4s! And the wonderful, helpful staff running the hotel! I recommend it 100%!

The room has no complaints. The linen is clean. Breakfast was good and included in the price. We also took lunches and dinners, the average bill is 700-900 rubles for two for lunch or dinner, it can be cheaper, depending on what you take. The food is amazing, we tried to go for dinner at the cafe across the road for a barbecue, but we didn’t like that there were a lot of people and they smoked there. The hotel has an elevator, silent and clean. There is a cooler with cold and hot water in the downstairs lobby. Each room has a balcony with a mosquito net. The room has air conditioning, hairdryer, refrigerator. There was Wi-Fi in the room, we were on the 3rd floor. The sea is across the road, 5 minutes walk. There is also a market, bakery, and fruit stand nearby. We even walked from the station for about 15 minutes, not far, if anyone needs a taxi to the station the price tag is 150 rubles. We recommend the hotel, we will come again if possible. The disadvantage is that there was no cleaning in 4 days, they took out the garbage themselves so that there was no smell in the room…
