    Based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia dated October 13, 2023 No. 106 "On approval of the procedure for registering foreign citizens and stateless persons at places of temporary stay in the Republic of Abkhazia," which entered into force on January 1, 2024, foreign citizens are subject to registration at places of temporary stay.

    When staying at properties with a valid certificate of compliance with the standards, registration is carried out from the date of arrival.

    When staying at other properties, registration must be carried out after 14 days from the date of entry into the Republic of Abkhazia.

    For registration at check-in, a one-time registration fee may be charged of ₽200 per person, regardless of age. Payment is made by guests on site in cash.

    One child aged 0 to 4 (inclusive) may be accommodated free of charge, without an extra bed (sleeping in existing beds).

    From January 20, 2026, children under the age of 14 will need a foreign passport to travel to Abkhazia.
