Grace Black Sea Hotel

We really liked this place! So much so that, having arrived once, we returned six months later with my mother — we decided to show her this atmospheric corner of calm and comfort!
There are two accommodation options on the territory — cottages and a hotel (we lived in both 🔥)
And what owners! Soul!
The territory is fenced, there are cameras, a large parking lot, there is a children's playground, everything is well maintained and looks aesthetically pleasing! For me as a photographer, it's a treat for the eyes! The panoramic windows in the hotel rooms with sea views are just wow! And you can see dolphins not far from the shore 😍
We'd love to come back again!

We rented a house on the hotel grounds. Close to the sea, the beach is super! But when we arrived with a small child… there is only one grocery store and more than one canteen in the area! We realized that visiting out of season plays a huge role. The canteen does not operate on site, it is open to order. On the one hand, it’s cool that they cook whatever they ask for, on the other hand, you have to worry about what to ask for and it’s also hard to figure out time with the child. We paid everything at once and wanted to move out on the first day! But that was not the case; they refused to return our money; we stayed there for 5 days instead of 7. Another child had a stone fall off his finger from a fence, an accident but unpleasant! Breakfast 500 rubles, lunch 750 and dinner 750 per person. The portions are very large and tasty, but I think it’s a little expensive! They also improve the shoreline and work all day welding. First they gave me a house next to a dog (Rottweiler). But at our request, they moved us to another house, because it was not safe with a child.
Advice for those who want to relax here: first go see and discuss all the living conditions, and then pay.

Modern hotel (one of the best I have ever visited in Abkhazia) on the seashore in the suburbs of Sukhum.
We stayed here twice — in October 2023 (in the houses) and in April 2024 (in the hotel itself)
We are pleased with the beautiful and well-groomed cozy territory, the silence, our own clean beach, but most of all we were captivated by the attitude of the owners and the service — they put their souls here!
The only thing I would like to improve in the future is the interior and menu of the restaurant. However, this did not bother us at all — firstly, there are deliveries from restaurants in Sukhum, and secondly, we came in our own car and were not limited in movement.
We will definitely come back here more than once!

An excellent hotel in the first line on the seashore, there are not many of these in Sukhum. Friendly staff. Excellent hospitable host. It has its own restaurant, next to a pizzeria and apatskha (national cuisine). The hotel has just been completed, everything is completely new.

Abkhazia is people! Abkhazia is history! Abkhazia is nature! And, of course, the sea is blue, transparent, warm! And if you want to take a break from accumulated worries, this is the place for you! The newest hotel "Black Sea" is located right at the edge of the sea. Beautiful place! Perfect cleanliness, cozy area and well-kept beach. On the ground floor there is a restaurant where you will always be fed delicious homemade food. And the aromas…! Every day they offer interesting excursions, for every taste and budget, telling in detail about each trip. And what sunsets, moonlit paths and cicada singing. And be sure to visit the Fazil Iskander Theater. Amazing! We can talk for a long time about this beautiful region, which we wish prosperity! I read positive reviews and booked through B-g, now I will attach what was promised in the rooms, but in the end there was none, and by the way, we lived here, but through booking they canceled us and wrote that we did not check in. When booking a room, when the owner of the establishment wrote and insistently asked to urgently transfer the money for the reservation, even then it was already clear from the letter that he was only interested in money, well translated! Upon arrival, we were in shock, there is no parking, only not 2 cars are provided inside and the fact that there was a place for vehicles under our windows was not offered, vehicles will be parked along a gravel road, where cows walk and can hook a car, while we were waiting for the room it was like that, locals also fly along this road, gravel and dust also fly on the vehicle, there are no cameras on this section, when we told the owner that it was dangerous to just leave the car, he simply offered a parking lot somewhere for money, which did not suit us, we had to leave the car at our own peril and risk! Let's start with the hotel, the first thing that will cause discomfort is the creaky and noisy doors and also the interior doors, everything opens and closes with such a rumble and creak, we go to the first floor and then you will be shocked?

We visited this hotel at the beginning of July. I chose from dozens of hotels, and, as it turned out, it was not in vain. I recommend to everyone who travels to Abkhazia to carefully read the reviews so as not to fall into some kind of tin — fragments of the Soviet era with renovations from the same time. Black Sea — comfortable, beautiful, first line, friendly, attentive staff. I was shocked that all the photographs really correspond to reality — a beautiful territory, a pleasant and thoughtful interior, everything sparkles. They recently opened a cafe at the hotel, previously there was only breakfast. I recommend. It is more convenient to book directly; with tour operators it is more difficult and significantly more expensive.
