Tokyo Hotels near Hongo Central Church

Lovely hotel! Fantastic location right out front of Akihabara station electric town gate. Room was very comfy, I liked the big bathroom.

I had a pleasant stay at JR-East Hotel Mets Premier Akihabara and would like to share some feedback…

Location: Excellent and very convenient for travel.

We had a great stay at this hotel and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel was clean and well maintained and all of the reception staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

We stayed here for four nights on our honeymoon trip to Japan.
The hotel itself is beautiful. Everything is clean, modern and thoughtfully designed. The reception area is especially lovely!

This hotel is located near Skyliner Ueno station, so you can easily access this places from NRT airport (and vice versa).

Section L was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, and 3 "children" aged 16, 18 & 21), plus we also had a separate room for my mother in law that travelled with us. Size of our family apartment was

The hotel is great and helped me experience my first trip to Japan with clean and spacious rooms. It has multiple types of rooms, and is great for bigger families.

We loved staying here & would highly recommend it especially for large families. The staff were warm & helpful.

This is technically a "business hotel", but it is also perfect for solo travellers. For couples the rooms/beds may be a bit small, but for a solo person travelling for work or tourism it is perfect.

Dormy Inn is my go to hotel choice in Japan. Having access to an onsen or sento after a long day exploring Japan is so relaxing and refreshing.

We (3 adults) stayed at Section-L Yushima for 8 nights in December.

This is a hotel + apartment kind of concept with full kitchen. Overall space area is small but cozy. We're a family of four and all of us has our own sleeping space — 2 beds and 2 sofa beds.

Fantastic hotel. Has a wonderful sento that overlooks the park. Nice big area to chill downstairs too. Nice clean aesthetic to the place.

Just got back from our second stay here with the whole crew (family of 5! ), and honestly, we love this place more every time.

Yet another fantastic stay at our favourite hotel in Tokyo!
Our first stay was in January 2025, and our second stay was in December 2025. Both times we stayed in the Executive floors.

Simply the best hotel I've ever stayed in. We were here in May 2025 and have thought about coming back every second since!

We loved this quiet boutique hotel for its authenticity, its spaciousness and its wonderful amenities. The location is terrific for visiting and touring Tokyo.

The lobby is located on the second floor. The elevator will always stop on the second floor which can be a bit awkward however I notice other hotels of this type doing this for security reasons.

I loved that I could request the room cleaning and otherwise it would not automatically happen daily.

I reserved a room for 7 nights and 8 days. We came to the hotel late in the night, tired and hungry after a dreadful flight experience.

Famous hotel nowadays, small room size but comfortable. We choose the hotel just between Ueno &Akihabara. Ten minutes walking to Subway station. Easy way to Ginza.

This hotel is great as I wanted to stay in Akihabara and while this is technically Ueno it’s right on the Main Street in Akiba. Very nice staff very clean facilities.

My stay was reasonable and acceptable, hitting all the basic notes for a functional accommodation. It wasn't a luxurious or memorable experience by any means, but it certainly did the job.

This inn is just a few minutes' walk from several train lines, making it a convenient base for exploring Tokyo. The room is small but the bathroom is surprisingly spacious.

I don't think there was much to add to the other reviews. This was the best hotel of our trip hands down. A perfect place to recover from the long flight and get to know a quieter section of Tokyo.

This hip hotel is located 20 meters from JR Suidobashi. Superb location with many dining options around. Caters to a younger crowd, but also perfect for solo travelers, couples and small families.

IMPORTANT: Request the back side river room view if you’re sensitive to sound.
We had the room facing the train and it’s noisy once the trains started in the morning even with double windows.

Warm welcome and impeccable service. Spacious room and bathroom, always tidy and clean, with a breathtaking view. Common areas always tidy and clean too. Lovely breakfasts.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at in Tokyo — the atmosphere and all inclusive service was amazing. In the morning there was curry rice and late at night mixed Rice.

The capsule itself is a bit on the older side but quite spacious, more than I expected. The room is well ventilated so it didn’t smell much, which was nice.

The Edoya hotel was the first hotel where we stayed upon our arrival in Tokyo. The rooms are just like we expected, the experience is unique for a very very very reasonable prize. Breakfast was great.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here, and it was our first introduction to a japanese style hotel in our travel. And still here at the end of our trip, it was one of the best places we stayed.

A decent size and quirky room for the four of us, as it was winter, good to have the washing machine and dryer as well. It's much more of an airbnb. Pillows are not great.
