Very nice place, quiet and cozy hotel including an excellent breakfast to start the day!

Second time here, I liked it. Friendly staff, good location, and it's quirky. In a good way. Great full English cooked to order… Will stay again.

Breakfast was really nice, but bed had too much spring to it and the drains made lots of noise when rooms upstairs used their bathroom, enough to wake me up.

The hotel was lovely, I have stayed in Brighton a few times and would certainly stay here again. The staff were very friendly on arrival and at breakfast (that's the only time we needed to see them) and though the location isn't as central as some might want we found it an easy 10 min walk to the hussle and bussle of the city centre. The advantage of being ever so slightly off the beaten track is less night life noise to disturb you (Brighton can be a terror for that). The bed was lovely and large and very comfortable, we didn't work out how to change the hear settings in the room so we were slightly warm but that was laziness on our part really. The toilet door squeaked terribly which was a shame and the shower head could do with a descale but we were only there one night so not a problem for us. Breakfast was included as part of our stay, Brighton has loads of amazing places to eat so don't feel you should get breakfast but our bacon pancakes and continental bits were just fine. Overall this was a great hotel, I would just say the rooms could maybe do with a bit of TLC as in places it was a bit on the tired side but nothing that would ruin a wonderful trip to sunny Brighton. Really Friendly Staff, Great Room Amazing Breakfast and Good location. If stairs are not for arrange a room on the lower level it's a long way to the top of the hotel otherwise.
Will stay again.

Although our room was on the small side, in terms of friendliness of staff, quality of (free) breakfast and location, it was wonderful. Massive attention to detail in the rooms to provide with amenities. I would highly recommend!

Not really what I expected. The room was tiny and the toilet is shared with the shower, there is no divider. The staff was very friendly and I would say the location is great. The best part was the breakfast it was very good. If it fits your needs then great, I personally prefer a little more space and a private shower.

Room was sufficient for the price, however the wet room was really smelly. Breakfast was nice, although I think 9am start is a little late.

Pretty disappointing. Poor nights sleep due to anti social neighbours in the house next door. Room was pretty shabby and more akin to a £35 per night hotel in Blackpool. Friendly staff. Decided not to chance breakfast.

The location is about 200m from the sea and about a 5 minute walk to the centre of Brighton, perfect for shopping and eating. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, however some of the furniture is questionable having an old theme mixed with modern. Overall all a brilliant place to stay with the only main issue being the top floor shower cuts out every now and then.

Great location! Beautifully designed, stylish rooms with very comfy beds. No aircon, but fans provided did help. Do NOT open the windows — the seagulls will wake you up at 3am. They seem to like to hang out on the rooftops of nearby buildings and yell at each other. Lovely breakfast — the porridge with apple sauce is delicious Bathroom/wet room was cute, but impossibly tiny — I'm a 5ft 4in woman, and if I put my hands up to my face and stuck my elbows out, they could literally touch the walls on either side of me at the same time! The pros outweighs the cons, though.

Good option for staying in Brighton especially on your own as they have single rooms that are charged at about half the rate of doubles.

Very pleasant. Very high quality throughout the B&B. My only slight grumble was the size of my room and bathroom. Highly recommended.

I linked bellow the view from our room. It's not nice. The staff was rude. Nobody wanted to help and 5 star place?! come on. We needed 5 mins to finding entrance and we used the bell to call the staff and they came after long time. Expensive like 5 star hotel but really it's like 2-3 star hotel maximum. Terrible. C for the price yycan find far better offers as this. Good luck guys.

Clean and stylish hotel with excellent cooked breakfast, a short walk from the seafront. Slightly noisey at night when we had our window open for ventilation.

Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful room and lovely food! Would highly recommend!

On arrival greeted and shown to our room for our anniversary. First impression well decorated, 2 mins to seafront and town. Breakfast amazing. Slept in room 202 unfortunately shower wasn't working properly, no espresso machine and the tap if switch on would flow over the sink. The window handles were covered in bird poo. Room was red hot and it was a cool day. Bathroom toilet had a ring of scum. Quite disappointed for such a special celebration get away for the price.

A really rather special little hotel. We have been here once before and fell in love with the place. At the time they were doing a superb deal which included a huge bottle of prosecco on arrival. Promptly drank by us, a fantastic way to begin any Brighton holiday. The staff looked after us tremendously well and any need was catered for. My Girlfriend is Gluten intolerant and most things on the menu are able to be made using Gluten free product. Amazing. Let this be said. The Breakfasts are divine. And included with all bookings. The rooms vary in size but are well kept and very cute. Best hotel in Brighton by a mile.

We loved this place. Great tasteful decor. Clean and comfortable room. Delicious breakfast. Very attractive staff, particularly the beautiful young man who delivered a surprise bottle of chilled Prosecco and two glasses to our room! We loved it!

Stayed here in Feb 2013, in the four poster room at the top of the house. Amazing room! Very plush, LOVELY bath, super comfortable bed, and everything nice and clean. Lovely touches, such as two lights embedded in the floor that change colour, a sensor-triggered indigo light in the toilet to avoid waking your partner when taking nocturnal toilet trips, and Wi-Fi throughout. Staff were very friendly, and everything passed without a hitch. I can't recommend this place more — it was lovely.

The Kemp Townhouse is fabulous — so good that it makes you reluctant to leave the hotel room. There are cheaper places to stay in town, but this boutique hotel is excellent value and full of unexpected little touches. Our room was warm and comfortable, with lovely toiletries and a decanter of very nice port included at no extra cost. Service couldn't be faulted either — I very clumsily smashed several glasses in the dining room and the staff waved it off. The smoothie shots handed out at breakfast (which was excellent) were lovely too. Even though checkout was at 11 am, they were more than happy to take care of our bags while we explored Brighton. The only downside I can think of is that it's a bit of a trek to the hotel from the station, but otherwise it's perfect. Looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing** location, really dedicated service staff and delish food. We are consistently blown away with KTH when we come down for a long weekend in Brighton.

L placed a booking with them on a monday and on wednesday the romantic couple coming for their honey moon there, the woman was involve in a car crash and had evidence to prove this. L called to cancel the booking on wednesday and spoke to the manager but he refuse to refund talking abt 7 day policy which my booking date does not allow. L told all my business collegue abt this and for our next trip will go to Amherst hotel. At the end l gave the hotel to someone going to brighton to visit and paid for a ticket for a train.
