Thoroughly enjoyed my day here with my mum yesterday! Friendly staff who don’t rush you, most relaxing back/shoulder massage and an afternoon tea filled with lots of variety! Couldn’t fault the place if I tried. 10/10, will be returning in the future 😄

Me and my girlfriend visited for a one night stay on her birthday, our room was upto date and modern, a comfortable bed and recently renovated bathroom with all comforts required for our stay. The room service was quick and the food was really tasty and affordable. All members of staff very helpful especially liz on reception who made our stay even more enjoyable than we could imagine. Breakfast was was a good size with good quality ingredients which were not fatty or greasy etc The hotel bar, pool and spa facilities were clean and friendly with covid guidelines followed throughout our stay I would definitely recommend a stay to friends and family and we will be returning for a longer stay in the near future :)

The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is very good if a little expensive. Pool and spa are very relaxing and well maintained.

Such a lovely hotel, I had a pregnancy back massage from Becky which was amazing! Super relaxing. Although you have to wear masks it feels safe and the staff are lovely. The food is excellent and really good value! Being a coeliac I am always concerned about the food available but the staff at the restaurant couldn’t have been more helpful. We upgraded to the superior room and it was very spacious and very clean. Will definitely be returning here in the future!

We really enjoyed staying here from the lovely room to the fantastic food. One person stood out for us Adam that worked the bar, nothing was too much trouble so professional. Chatted about the hotel and places of interest. Will be back soon all the staff so friendly. Keep up the fantastic work your all doing. Xx.

Stayed here last night for mine and my Husbands wedding Anniversary, the room was lovely everything was lovely and clean, sanitising hand stations dotted around, lovely and friendly staff… only Issue we had was we waited an hour and 15 mins for our starters, then another 40 mins for our mains.

Lovely visit to the Laura Ashley tea rooms last week. The lovely Elizabeth on reception was very friendly and chatty on our way out and told us about the current offers. I couldn’t resist and was back a few days later for dinner, bed and breakfast. Food was lovely, nice atmosphere, gorgeous room and loved the spa. Thank you so much to Elizabeth and the other staff who were all amazing and really looked after us during our stay. Can’t wait to come back xxx.

We had my daughters wedding here last weekend. 29th February. Well you was amazing staff very friendly food amazing and everyone was so helpful made it so special for shaneice and Kyle's wedding. We even stayed an extra night. The rooms are very big very clean. The food amazing. All staff very friendly. Will recommend most definitely.
Would like to say an extra special thank you to nicola who made the day effortless and stress free for us. You are a lovely person and very professional at your job you made it look effortless. We had a few people with food allergies and vegetarian. You made sure everyone had the right food at right time no mix ups. Amazing thank you for everything you have done. You went ubobe and beyond for my daughter and our family thank you x.

Wonderful hotel, friendly welcoming staff also enjoyed the spa facilities and had a treatment the lady was called Jordan made me feel at ease very relaxed, Rooms were very clean, The breakfast was amazing would definitely be returning Thank you so much.

Really pretty buildings that look more like a small village than a hotel. River running through a pretty grass area with weir by the carpark.

Really enjoyed the Michael buble tribute on the 20 th December, such a lovely atmosphere throughout the evening. The food was fantastic and staff will very pleasant and very friendly, hoping Michael buble tribute is back for next Christmas.

Love using the pool and jacuzzi when we come down. Such a relaxing atmosphere.

Recently stayed for a friends birthday. Had a real treat using all the spa facilities, and having a treatment. With afternoon tea and stay at the hotel. The spa was very clean and relaxing. Treatments were amazing and staff were very friendly. Afternoon tea was really special catered for every need. Our room was amazing, a spacious shared room within a lovely setting on the site. Overall couldn’t have asked for more. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't of been more attentive. Both spa and treatment area very clean and professional. It made our visit even more relaxing and that was our intention in our reason for booking.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay. Facilities and staff were excellent. Our room was spotless and modern. The spa was so impressive inside. Gym was great and the breakfast buffet was to die for! Will definately go again.

Came here this afternoon for afternoon tea in the new Laura Ashley Tea Rooms and I have to say it was lovely. Service was amazing, staff were so friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our first afternoon tea experience.

Spent a spa day here with my mum, staff were amazing from the minute we entered. We both had facials which were close to the best I’ve every had we also had afternoon tea which was lovely, the only thing I would say it would of been nice to to be offered a glass of wine at an extra charge. Will definitely eat back, thank you.

What can I say, we thoroughly enjoyed our Easter Sunday 3 course lunch with Easter egg hunt for the kids today. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, plentiful and full of choice, but our boys were super excited to explore the grounds looking for their clues to win their egg! Thank you for a very memorable Easter!

Another week end at Cwrt Bleddyn fantastic time as always lovely helpful staff great atmosphere here we arrived in sunshine and left relaxed and happy can’t wait till next time Simon and his staff spoil us.

Had an amazing spa day, had a facial and a ritual wrap and massage with Becky which was fantastic. Lovely staff, very friendly and accommodating. Very pleased with the overall experience.

Just returned from a long weekend. My partners 60th. She was treated to some spa treatments. We had a lovely time. The room was excellent, very clean and spacious. We had a superior double. Breakfasts were excellent and the staff very friendly. Set in beautiful grounds. Would visit again.

Accommodation is ok. Need more signs to locate rooms not on main building. Spa great. Meals impressive. General service good.

A really nice hotel in Llangybi, Usk with very friendly staff. The rooms were a little bit dated without A/C however they appeared to have been recently decorated and were very clean and tidy and provided a fan which was definitely needed due to the heatwave we've been having. In addition, the rooms do provide all the usual amenities you come to expect in a hotel these days (smart TV, kettle, hair dryer etc). I have to admit though I am not a great admirer of the whole pushing 2 single beds together to make a double bed idea that they seem to have going on at this hotel. The gym and spa with pool, sauna, hot tub, steam room was a brilliant place to burn off some steam and then relax after a long day at work. The restaurant served nice food and provided good service however it was a little on the pricey side. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and I will be returning again in a couple of weeks.

Service was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for reception and restaurant staff. The spa was peaceful and relaxing with plenty of loungers. Staff in the gym were helpful and accommodating. I have NEVER had a bad visit to this hotel, always had exceptional experiences. Thank you again.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights for a friend's wedding. Not only was the wedding simply perfect, the staff amazing in their anticipation of every need, and the grounds picture beautiful, but the Spa experience the day before was just about the best I have had — topping Grayshott Hall anytime. Will definitely consider driving back just to enjoy that again.

Myself and two of my besties came for a spa day today to celebrate our 40th birthday’s and absolutely loved it. From the receptionist, to our massage therapists and to those working in the restaurant who served us a delicious two course Sunday dinner were all extremely kind and could not do enough to make you feel welcome.
Our full body massages was so relaxing we almost fell asleep, and the food was lovely.
We was a bit disappointed the steam room was out of service but hopefully will be up and running for our next visit.
We look forward to visiting again soon.

Had a lovely day and massage at the spa; however, the vapour from whatever they poured in the jacuzzi (twice whilst we were there) made our eyes sting and gave me a headache, so we had to avoid that side of the pool area for the rest of our stay. I forgot to ask what it was but it appeared to be something to reduce the foam build up (bromine? ). Apart from that the massage therapist was lovely and put me at my ease and they were very accommodating in dietary requests for our afternoon tea.

Staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated however they are clean and very large. High ceilings. Very large bed and TV. Good amenities. Great steam room and sauna. Gym well equipped. Good variety on menu. Breakfast cooked to order.

This is my second stay here and we chose it because we had enjoyed our first stay so much. We needed somewhere drivable from Newport as my partner was working there but in the gorgeous Welsh countryside. We love the spa facilities here and I had a great massage. We were in the main house this time and the room was lovely as was the bathroom. The only downside was the old window was letting quite a draft in but I never felt cold despite the weather. Breakfast is a little hit and miss depending if you go for the included hot food that is decidedly average but the supplementary choices were very nice.

Pool and changing room desperately need attention. Mould all over ceiling in shower area. Would of been only 2 stars but staff very good.

Nice location, spa facilities are very good. Some rooms can be a little noisy but it's an old building so no surprises… Ear plugs sort that out. Restaurant is excellent, food is very good and bar area is pleasant. Staff are superb. Overall a very pleasant stay for a very reasonable price. Only real gripe is that there are no sockets next to the bed which makes charging your phone overnight a real pain.

Rooms are period if a little dated but certainly a long way from scruffy. Only let down was the food — it's amazing how a chef can have all the right ingredients for a simple burger yet still get it wrong (overcooked beef, raw onion, slab of cold mozzarella, & shrivelled bacon). Otherwise would definitely stay again.

Had an amazing weekend here. The only reason that it is not a 5 Star is the decor could do with updating.

Not at all Happy with the experience Room was very Run down with Dirty Glasses and inch thick dust on the lights and higher places (I am 6'3) Gym and spa was great in honesty. But cooked breakfast was very basic and we where left to feel uncomfortable with the creepy gentleman working in the breakfast room Carpets in room and around in very bad condition have photos of it all.

Bed was VERY comfortable, and service seemed to be good from what little cause I had to call on it. Didn't have any issues with noise though was equally absolutely dead to the world! The spa facilities were a little disappointing, no private changing facilities and a bit cramped with lots of folk in a small space. People didn't seem to shower before getting in the hot tub resulting in stinging eyes due to a reaction with the chlorine (at least that's the reason I was given for it, the chlorine levels were tested and apparently fine). Food was nice for me, though I'm aware others that were served before me had the back end of the previous buffet serving which was said to have been disappointing. On the whole though, very nice and would certainly go back.

Lovely spa and changing packages to suit your requirements is possible which a lot won't do. Staff lovely, facilities excellent. Recommended.

Loved this place for its service and great room upgrades however my last 3 visits have been a poor experience. Mainly focused around the spa and certain facilities not working. On my last visit though it was a general average experience. Jacuzzi not working due to high chlorine levels. The room we stayed in had cracks in the walls and wasn't repaired very well at all. We requested an item from the reception to which they were going to call the room with the outcome but they never did. Our room service breakfast order that we paid an additional five pounds for was missing items and had wrong items on it. When we mentioned this on checking out we were very suprised that we were still asked to pay the full charge for the room service and had no apology for the service just a reason of lack of available items. Though we had to submit our order the night before!

Stayed for two nights for wife's birthday. The staff are real friendly and do absolutely everything you ask for (just ask don't just moan) The food is outstanding plain and simple great staff again and make sure you get what you want and more. The room was cosy and clean and breakfast in bed (again just ask) was a treat for us both. The spa and massages are among the best we've had. The staff at the spa are knowledgeable and a good gym as well. Sauna steam room jacuzzi pool all great. Don't take my word book it and see. Yes the buildings are old but so full of character. Make of it what you like we loved it and the whole family definately kids will be coming next time. Finally a big thanks to Jack and hotel staff. Also thanks to liam in the spa see you all soon x x x x.

I'm in absolute shock with the service I had received from here. I tried to book a spa day with afternoon tea for my family for my 30th birthday there was 9 of us in total. I had rang a few times to enquire all fine. So when I rang yesterday with everyone's money to book they said that they only book maximum of 5 people I said that is ridiculous what am I supposed to do tell the other 4 they can't come? Someone called rhi said we can only take your booking if you all book a spa treatment NOW I said we are all booking treatments but at a later date when we've decided what we want so that's more money you will have from us on top of the £300 I'm giving you today she still wouldn't take my booking! I'm so disappointed and stunned they would refuse custom like that! We have booked else where at the bryn meadows who happily took our booking of 9 and cheaper too so thanks for that cwrt bleddyn I won't be returning to you!

Beautiful hotel in lovely location surrounded by countryside. Hotel staff were excellent and served a wonderful Sunday lunch which was thoroughly enjoyed by all! I am sure we will be returning here very soon.

Nice wedding location pricey drinks.

Arrived around 10.00am for a spa day with my best friend Tina, was greeted by a lovely lady at reception, we choose our food for lunch time, was a great choice of hot and cold food, she gave us our robes, slippers and towels,
The changing rooms are of a great size with showers, big mirrors, hairdryers, they even give you a plastic coin for locker so you don't have to use £1.00 coin,
Upon entrying the pool/jacuzzi area I was overwhelmed with how beautiful the room looked and felt, my best friend has been before and she was defo not wrong when she said this place was amazing, low lightening adds an ambience of total relaxation.
Tea, coffee, juice and water are available all the time, had a lovely facial which was just perfect, the purple room and music playing just beautiful, and too top it off a lovely lunch in the bar area with a nice cold pint of larger in our robes, everyone friendly and very welcoming, will defo be visiting again, had a lush day with bestie Tina thank you, and thank you to all the staff.

Visited the spa on Sunday 15th, firstly the staff were really friendly, but the facilities were disappointing, the women’s toilet bin was literally overflowing with women’s toiletries and one of the two toilets were blocked! the showers were luke warm, and the steam room wasn’t working. We did get a reduction of £5 off the original £25 fee as the steam was out of service. The spa area around the pool looks tired, there were cracked and dirty grouted tiles and not very well kept, the tiles in the changing room are not anti-slip as my friend fell and cut her knee due to all the water brought in from the pool, thankfully she was fine but still very dangerous.
Although relaxing the facilities are very dated which lets it down. Even at £20 I feel the rate far exceeds the standard of the spa facilities.
It’s a shame as I have eaten at the bar and restaurant and have used their conference rooms and had colleagues stay there regular and it’s always been good. Spa really lets this hotel down.

My husband and I came for one night for our honeymoon we was made very welcome from start to finish we would most definitely recommend it and will most definitely be booking again the staff are outstanding and very friendly with a very warm welcome. The cleanliness was of high standard and the food was the best ever with extremely fair prices 10/10

Me and my partner really enjoyed staying at this hotel the food was brilliant and the facilities were also very good the staff were impeccable and we really felt like it was a home away from home.

Lovely setting in the ground's, expensive drinks, which I kinda expected, we had a very fortunate upgrade to bridal suite, very nice, clean rooms, good service.

We attended our niece's wedding 26th August 2017. We stayed for 2 nights having a wonderful family meal on Friday 25th in the Morgan Room. The food and service were outstanding. I choose a vegan option which was amazing. The hotel were very accommodating about having vegan options. Room service breakfast on Saturday morning was fantastic (we did bring our own soya milk) I should have asked and I'm sure the hotel would have had some. The Bride Tribe were in the pink cottage adding to the excitement of the night before the wedding and then the thrill of them all getting ready together the morning of the wedding with make up artist and hair stylists. The cottage was roomy, comfy and perfect. The Team were fantastic in every aspect, attentive, knowledgeable and respectful. They helped enhance an already exciting and wonderful day. The hotel grounds were beautiful, very well kept with stunning backdrops. The weather was glorious it honestly felt like we were in the Med. Good amount of seating areas to socialise. When we were called in to get seated for the ceremony it took my breath away, the seating flowers, mirrors and lighting. Our niece choose the music which added to the anticipation when the curtain was opened the bridesmaids walked elegantly down the aisle with already tears in our eyes then right on cue our beautiful niece and brother in law her lovely proud dad walked down the red carpeted aisle it was bliss.

I had a "Last Minute Spa Experience" with my daughter. Excellent value, delicious lunch, beautiful surroundings and very friendly staff. We'll be back!

Staff were very friendly and helpful they definitely get a 4 would have been a 5 but we got no response or apology when questioned if fountain outside could be turned off on our second night as it kept us awake on our first. Room was spacious with two tub chairs nice comfortable bed. Bathroom also spacius with both bath and shower would have been a 5 for room but gets a 4 due to the noise from the fountain wasn't loud but constant trickle was enough to rob sleep. Food was ok to good. Usual prices these days same on drinks. Breakfast gets a 5, bacon was excellent scrambled eggs didn't have that watery feel same for the boiled mushrooms they were excellent and the bread was amazing. Got to say whatever cleaning solution is used on all tables it needs to be changed as it left that beer stained sticky feel! Spa was excellent and gets a 4 low lightinging was nice and really good for the body conscious. Good size pool for swimming, spa would have got a 5 but the steam room was almost pointless no real steam. I talked to a regular who's raised it so many times that he's given up! No control either on unruly children even though there are plenty of signs to be ignored, our first night saw quite a few families happy to see their children dive bombing the pool. Killed the idea of a relaxing spa. Thankfully second day they were gone and we could relax. Staff need to keep that in check to be honest. Location of hotel is excellent very beautiful surroundings and gets a 5.

I'm in two minds about the Ramada resort hotel. Firstly I would like to say that the customer service recieved from the staff was excellent. The services and facilities available were great and the hotel offers produce such as shaving cream etc if you have forgotten to bring it along with you. On the other hand, the condition of the hotel itself inside needs a refurbishment. I had a superior room and the quality was not what I expected, Especially as the exterior is so beautiful. The carpet was worn down and even missing patches, in the bathroom the wallpaper was seperating and the wooden exterior of the bath was swelling. A refurbishment would make me come back, unfortunately, if I was to book another stay in Wales, I would book elsewhere.

Fantastic receptionist she really couldn't have been anymore helpful, was given an excellent room. Full gym, swimming pool, spa and sauna available. Great affordable food at the bar also, really can't fault this place.
