I’m trying to add some balance to these reviews from people who haven’t stayed here and only judging on TV show. I hope they get removed as that’s not a genuine experience, my business gets public reviews and it’s so personal. As much as the couple didn’t come across nice all the businesses had faults. Best of luck to them I hope this and the other reviews can be removed as not valid experiences.

It is obvious guests that haven't stay in this guesthouse are the only one giving bad rating. You have to stay there before you can make comments. Greylands is one of the best in the area, having stay in a couple of others in the area. I have been staying with them since June and nothing like the guesthouse on TV.

I feel justified in writing this review having watched Four in a Bed. I would never stay in this B and B and would actively dissuade anybody else from staying. The attitude and behaviour of the owners was appalling. Rude, arrogant and unpleasant. I hope they cringed when they watched themselves.

Not sure I would want to stay here after watching Four in a Bed, the owners, in particular Lynda appear to have horrible attitudes.

Lovely place to stay. Home away from home. Lyn and Larnie make you feel at home and nothing is too difficult for them. Greylands is been my home for past 7 months and I will surely miss their lovely service and fresh cooked breakfast. Lyn makes me a fresh smoothly every morning such a great host and hostess. 5 stars all the way.

Excellent food and room great value for money.

Lovely guest house, run by two lovely people. Lynda and Larnie made us feel so welcome the second we stepped through the door. They were so friendly and helpful, and sociable too, had quite a giggle with them both. The room was spotless and cosey, best nights sleep I've had in ages, the blackout blinds certainly helped. I loved the fact that even though it was a Victorian building, it had Wi-Fi, TV with USB port, and a very modern bathroom mirror with light sensor and Bluetooth speakers built in, and a demister, so the mirror didn't steam up while in the shower, awesome. The house still has its Victorian character which I loved. It's also situated in a lovely little town, in a pretty location, and steaped with history, with lots of things to do in the local area. We will definitely be going back, and I'm going to look into the 'Victorian Week' that is held in the area. Thank you for having us.

Very helpful and attentive, room was spotlessly clean and well decorated, attention to details was outstanding. Breakfast is made to order and with stunning views while you eat, loads of different kinds of tea and coffee in the rooms including decaffeinated. I have been to many bnbs and guest houses but NONE of them measure up to this place. Don't bother looking elsewhere just book here.

Fantastic welcoming hosts in lovely town. Very clean with secure bike storage.

Good old fashioned hospitality. Comfortable room, ample morning breakfast and a relaxed atmosphere.

We have spent four days in this house and we are grateful for the way the owners have treated us. The hotel is good, the rooms are good and the owners are great. Somovilla Family.
