Absolutely loved it here and have visited again with the dogs and our camper van; it was a perfect birthday treat and our mini-moon as newlyweds. Dog friendly too which was a huge bonus. Enjoyed using the swimming pool/leisure area. It was great that you can pay for the facilities as a camper van guest. Ate several times in the restaurant and the food was really nicely prepared then chilled out by the fireplace with a glass of wine afterwards. Really romantic and cosy.

I have had absolutely amazing time for my Birthday surprise with my husband, couldn’t have even imagined of dreamed of a wonderful trip away to the Isle of Arran. Fabulous hotel and grounds, treated like a queen, spa was truly relaxing, Restaurants was food you could die for. Staff, swimming pools steam rooms sauna and so much more was highly kept clean and welcoming warm and friendly place to stay can’t give it any more of a highest recommendation to stay.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon in a suite in the spa resort and very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and our room was amazing. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub in the Stronach lounge and our private balcony. The view was spectacular. Our spa day in aspa was fantastic — a perfect way to relax after our busy wedding day. Gordon, our archery instructor was great fun. We'll definitely be back. 💙

Nice place to visit very nice swimming pool staff very helpful and we played basketball which was reasonably priced however went upstairs for water which was £2.50 per glass bottle when we are in gym is a bad idea, next time would be good if someone told me to go to poolside bar which water is £1:30 and In plastic bottles thanks overall experience very good.

What completely amazing and considerate staff. Everything you can think of needing whilst away with a little one. Staff are so thoughtful, nothing is any trouble and really child friendly. Hotel was super clean, easy to access, room layout was fab and added resource room which had washing machines, tumble dryer and microwave for free use was just an added bonus. Cannot wait to come back.

This was my wife & I's 3rd time to the resort & the second time at the retreats. This first time was L4, this time was L5… both lovely with their own special features. The bedroom on L4 overlooked the field & Hills & feels more cosy, while L5 has a reading snug on the wall & a large wall mounted TV at the bottom of the King size bed. We used the log fired hot tub every day & have found it a lovely relaxing place to unwind from everything.

Beautiful spacious bedroom with a lovely view of the garden. All of the staff were efficient and friendly, food was amazing in Brambles Restaurant and a great choice for breakfast. Always a relaxing break with plenty to do.

The two bedroom retreats are beautiful, clean and have all the amenities you require. The staff cannot go enough for you. I will definitely be back with my family.

We've been regular visitors for over 18 years now and always enjoy our stays in the Auchrannie Hotel. The standard of service and food is always exceptional and the hotel itself is always immaculate and is tastefully updated regularly to very high standards. We wouldn't stay anywhere else during visits to Arran.

Absolutely love Auchrannie. The rooms are beautiful and the beds soooo comfy. Best night sleep ever. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and went out their way to support us whilst stuck waiting in ferry crossing. Staff called us to check we were OK ad they new the crossing had been cancelled even offering to move our booking a night if needs be without incurring any charges. So generous! as it was we got across on the next ferry but the peace of mind from Auchrannie meant I relaxed. Food brilliant. Facilities amazing. Highly recommend Auchrannie.

First time stay here and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Room was beautiful and very comfortable, spa and treatment were wonderful and the food was fantastic! Will be back with the kids and possible our dog too — very pet friendly (dog towel drying stations are a great idea! ). Such a relaxing stay! (And Arran is beautiful too! )

Just spent three nights in an executive plus room and all I can say is WOW! The entire hotel is beautiful, with friendly attentive staff and a little of bit luxury. Will most definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. I had a treatment in the ASPA facility and it was divine. Thanks for an amazing stay on a very special occasion xx.

We booked here because of the setting but we will be returning back because of the super-clean rooms, amazing food and the fantastic service by every member of staff we interacted with. We were really impressed by the manager David, who went above and beyond to help us out at arrival with his F1-style bus driving skills. Thanks David, we’ll be back!

Beautiful place in a beautiful setting on a beautiful island. We had a lodge for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. Well equipped, well maintained, beautifully presented, comfortable, just perfect. My wife used the spa facilities and came back all floppy and glowing so they must be good too! Kids play areas are great. Cruize bar was great with reasonably priced, high quality, food and drink. I'm really looking forward to returning to Auchrannie another day.

It is Wednesday the 5th of September 2018 and at last one of my ambitions has been fulfilled. We arrived at the Auchrannie Resort on the Isle of Arran and found a reasonably priced room, on the ground floor, with nearby parking and a little deck with chairs to sit out and have a cup of coffee while looking at the Forest. The room is beautifully appointed and decorated with everything you could desire in a well designed space. However, having travelled from hotel to hotel for a month now and found tiny hotel fridges crammed with chocolate bars, beers soft drinks and the like, we opened one here to find a bottle of fresh milk! At last someone in the hotel industry has realised that cheap tricks simply give a nasty impression!

We love Auchrannie… Excellent facilities. Nice rooms and a selection of restaurants a spa and gym. Staff are routinely very professional and pleasant.

Stayed at one of the lodges for 4 nights with in-laws and my 5yo daughter. With 3 restaurants, 2 pools and a softplay we could have visited without leaving the site. As nice as it was, there were a handful of niggles; showers in the family changing were ice cold. The family changing area could have been cleaner. A toilet in the restaurant had a broken flush and was full. Disabled access lift to one of the restaurants was out of order. Wheelchair provision could be better (main of the paths and car parks are stone chips). All these however, and yet still a 4 star review.

Excellent place for a couple's retreat, it's a bit pricier than a lot of other places but the standard and quality is excellent. It has only been opened a few weeks so everything was brand new and to a very high standard. I've knocked a star off due to the issue with the hot tub… it didn't happen. We followed the instructions to the letter but it just didn't want to heat up even thought it says it takes about 3 hours for it to be fully heated and ready to use. Apart from that the resort is top class and great for a short break. Highly recommended.

Went for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The restaurants are good particularly the fish restaurant. Lots for a family to do from cycling, swimming and childrens play rooms.

Not for couples at all. We visit a lot of hotels due to either holidays or business, so we were disappointed by such an average stay for such an expensive hotel. The price is really obscene. Rooms were fine for a family but I'm not sure we would class them as "executive". They're not massive rooms. The decor was very good taste and the bathroom nice, but there were several defects in the bathroom, such as the sink leaking, and the shower required a lot of difficulty to change the temperature. The room itself was very hot, we realise this was unusual weather for Arran, but even the blankets seemed like winter blankets, it was very difficult to sleep. Breakfast was outstanding, we would only consider coming back for that. The staff at breakfast were very good. We had advised that it was our honeymoon, we were just given a card from the hotel using the resort gift card, which is not really a way to make you feel special. The staff didn't mention it in person and weren't interested in asking us why we were staying etc Generally I would have expected a much more special experience for such a highly priced room. We won't reccomend it to family/friends. The brambles restaurant in particular was very disappointing and I would say you should really avoid it, there are much better choices on the island for far better value.

Fabulous place for a holiday. Staff are brilliant and the facilities are excellent. Three quality restaurants and two leisure centres cater for all. They even book the ferry for you.

Love this hotel — quite pricey on school holidays but 100% worth it. Rooms are beautiful, food is fab, overall super happy with our recent stay!

We often use the Buddies deals and enjoy the Auchrannie resort. We used the Spa leisure this visit as a paying customer and was suprised at having to pay £6 concession fee. We have on many occasions complained about the steam room that has no steam. Yet again the member of staff tried but failed to solve the problem.

I've been visiting this place since it was a small country house hotel and never been disappointed. The lodges are modern well equipped and comfortable. The setting is beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities include two swimming pools and a spa. The resort is very well organised but feels very relaxed.

Auchrannie is a lovely resort with lots of things for families with children. There's a spa, two pools, soft play, outdoor activities, gardens, hotel plus lodge accommodation and three restaurants. If that's not enough, you're within walking distance of Brodick. Taking the ferry to Arran from Ardrossan adds to the adventure!

WOW what a place! Views are perfect along with the room interior. Perfect for dogs as you can see oor Ralph posing. We loved it and will be back for sure.

What a fantastic place! Lovely spa resort, gorgeous setting on Arran, easily accessible from Glasgow. Food in the restaurants was very good, and the staff were all incredibly friendly. Big focus on local produce and is run as a co-operative, so if you're in favour of supporting local people then it's a brilliant place.

Its where I work, 4 star grading of our product and aiming for 5 star awesome customer service. You can find here something suitable for everyone.

I was here for a presentation with my work. I did not stay so I can not comment on the rooms and food but it has a beautiful restaurant great staff. Very nice place. Easy to reach from ferry terminal.

My husband gifted our daughter and I a day spa voucher and I phoned very early in December and booked first Sunday in January. I discussed with the lady from spa which ferry we would be arriving and departing on as she needed details so she would be able to arrange hotel minibus to collect and drop us at ferry. At lunchtime on our spa day I was informed that the spa closed early that day at 3.30 as the resort staff were having their Christmas night out as they apparently always do on first Sunday in January. I was very disappointed and annoyed as at no time during phonecalls with spa when arranging our not inexpensive day was I told our day would be cut short. If I had I would certainly not have booked that day. Disappointing, straight after our booked treatments the staff were cleaning floors and mirrors around us which certainly wasn't inducive of a relaxing spa experience. Manager told my daughter she would give us some money back, this turned out to be a voucher to use in the resort, which was of no use as it was closing early meaning we would have to spend money to come back to use it. As we wouldn't give them business again in future it left us with no option but to use it to buy spa product. Not impressed.

Absolutely stunning place! Couldn't recommend more. Just finished a refurbishment so might be even better! Only way to see Arran.

Had an amazing time with family for a 30th birthday. Lodges amazing and staff wonderful. Had a great time x.

The room was cold, very cold, we were in an exec family at the end of the block, it was absolutely freezing despite heating being on. Mistakes were made at every meal. Staff were friendly but seemed inexperienced. We had a wrong meal brought at dinner and only a Coca Cola taken off the meal despite my husband eating his meal alone after we finished. Condiments took ages to come when requested, as did drinks. Twice drinks were wrong also. There were never staff on spa receptions and even when we paged them it took ages to get service. We aren’t the type to complain and are pretty easy to please but it just wasn’t a great experience. Reception staff were lovely to us although I heard one being pretty abrubt to two guests while waiting. Despite being cold the room was lovely and well appointmented and kids loved the bunk beds and TVs. The beds were super comfy too. The room was the best part of our stay (despite the temp). The facilities are good and the food was nice too.

Amazing hotel and spa. There are 2 buildings — the original, manor home type building and the new and sleek spa building (which has recently been extended). Both are maintained to an extremely high standard and ooze luxury. They also have cottages onsite that you can rent out and a number of restaurants. They are dog friendly and have a great dog walk, right on their doorstep. I keep going back.

Fabulous service. Went for my wife's 40th. Treated our girls to a room in the Executive Suite. They loved it, hot tub etc al. Minor problems sorted very quickly and efficiently. Very helpful, considerate staff. Great breakfast. Amazing pool. All round a real joy and treat to visit.

Great staff, food, and facilities. Our room was beautiful, nothing was too much for the staff organising our event, every care was taken. Kids buffet both nights we were there, pool and spa handy and lovely.

Totally deserving of this 5 star review. I think probably the best family resort we've stayed at. Exceeded all expectations and a brilliant base for exploring the beautiful island of Arran. Stayed in a gorgeous family room in new part of the spa hotel, the kids loved their posh bunk room. Every floor has a room with washing machine, dryer etc, what a bonus! Loads to keep the kids entertained and they especially loved the swimming pools and the games rooms. Various dining options available. Very attentive and hard working staff. Well done Auchrannie!

Visited the Auchrannie to use the pool facility. Found it to be quite expensive as we were only looking to swim yet charged for a full use of spa facilities which with 2 small children we were not going to use. However, changing rooms and pool itself were great. Very clean and lovely products in the showers. Kids had a ball as there were loads of floats out for them to enjoy in the pool. Would be nice if there were an option to pay for a week's pass.

Second family holiday to Auchrannie. Perfect room which accommodates our family of 5. Older 2 children have the bunk room (perfect for them! ) & plenty of space for travel cot in double room. Room clean & few teething problems on arrival ironed out quickly thanks to extremely helpful staff. All staff members are genuinely helpful & great with the kids. Dined in both Cruize & Brambles; food & service 100% Will be back to Auchrannie soon, can not fault.

Self catering Lodge was well appointed. We ate in Brambles and 1859 (Scottish Tapas! ) And both meals were excellent. Enjoyed water aerobics in one of the pools. Lots of outdoor activities at Arrange Adventures conveniently colocated. We'll be returning.

Excellent resort, lots of amenities including a soft play for young kids. The pool is good, there is even little splash pool for toddlers. Food is 5 stars must try out the seafood restaurant! There is ample car parking so you don't have to worry about driving into town and coming back to park. Defo a place to come back to again.

The service at Auchrannie is second to none! Staff always pleasant and helpful. The room we had was fantastic, with a separate bedroom for the kids and a small decking area outside to sit and relax. Would thoroughly recommend Auchrannie for a relaxing break on Arran.

We stayed for two nights in the executive rooms of the house hotel. The room was excellent and well equipped. Facilities were great with swimming pool, spa, racket sports all available to use. The restaurants all come with good reviews. We tried the brambles, which was lovely both times. Overall a lovely visit. Will definitely go again.

Travelled from Cornwall to hotel to attend wedding of grand daughter. We stayed in the older part of the hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful from the domestics to waitresses, bar staff and reception. The room, hotel, dining and leisure areas were immaculate and everything we asked for was provided immediately. Congratulations to all concerned we had a wonderful time, thankyou.
