We booked a family room (Room 8) for 2 nights with our 2 boys. The room was spotless with lovely seaside furnishings. We were very welcomed by the owners and the breakfast was amazing (locally sourced) with lots of choice (up there with the best! 🪶), which our boys thoroughly enjoyed too. Good location for attractions, we will be back. X🥰

We had a lovely 2 night stay at edendale House. Beautifully presented bedroom, very clean and the beds are really comfortable. Breakfast was great nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed on August 3rd for 1 night with my grandaughters, very impressed with service, facilities, quality & standard of our room, we stayed in number 8.
Breakfast was stunning along with fast friendly service.

A real gem. Great value. Exceptionally clean. Friendly hosts. Very homely, welcoming and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast with good quality products and great choice. 10 min walk to the theatre. Will definitely return.

We stayed here last Saturday after reading very positive reviews. We were not disappointed even though it has changed hands. Josie made us feel very welcome and was friendly. We had a family room (connected by a door) with an en suite. All was clean and cozy. We had fresh towels and chocolates on the bed on arrival and lots of tea making, etc, paraphernalia including some really yummy biscuits. The breakfast (waiter service-HATE buffets! ) was of a very good standard-Full English of course, you could also start with cereals, fruit etc if you so wished. There was parking on the front as well — it was perfect for us just staying the one night. I would recommend especially after reading some dodgy reviews of other establishments in the area.

Myself and 2 friends stayed for 4 nights for a long weekend break as it was the first time we'd been to Southport we didn't know what to expect, as it was the airshow weekend I had a hard job to find somewhere to stay but was very glad I found Edendale because Josie, Ian and their daughter who helped with the breakfast (which was excellent) were very welcoming. It is only 10mins walk from the town centre. I would strongly recommend staying here and I wouldn't hesitate to again. Thankyou Josie and family for your friendly welcome.

My Partner and I have just returned home form a lovely weekend at Edendale House. Josie & Ian made us feel very welcome. The room was just perfect for our stay in Southport & walking distance to the town/beach. The Full English breakfast hit the spot & the waitress (Jessica) was wonderfully friendly. We will be back Mark & Gemma.

My husband, 3 year old son and myself travelled to Southport for a family holiday at the start of August 2017. We had accommodation sorted for 3 nights however, when we arrived it was unhabitable. To say this was an awful start to our holiday was an understatement. We looked around for somewhere and came across this amazing place. I phoned and spoke with Josie who had a family room available with breakfast included in the price. When we arrived Josie made us feel very welcome plus obviously very stylish as she had the same top on as me lol. She then told us that her and her husband Ian had literally taken over the business 2 weeks ago! We were shown to our room which was on the top floor. It was very spacious and bright. The main bedroom was lovely with a velux window, bathroom with a corner bath, a separate bedroom with twin beds. The rooms were brightly decorated and had a very homely feel about them. Very clean rooms with towels and chocolates for each guest… which I may add my son ate them all Tea, coffee facilities in room with diluting juice and hot chocolate too. There is a fridge within the hallway with juice and chocolate for sale. You can also if required hire a small fridge for your room. The information pack in the room was packed with everything you need to know. We checked in around tea time and Josie pointed us in the direction of the Imperial pub which was a 2 min walk from Edendale, ideal for us.

Had a fantastic weekend! Lovely b&b, very clean and comfortable! Excellent breakfast menu with lots of choice and qualiy food! All the staff were top notch, very friendly and helpful. I would be more than happy to stay here again, and would highly recommend this b&b! :)
