Good hostel in London with excellent value for money based on location. Cleanliness within acceptable limits for Italian standards, luggage storage service and good staff.

Very nice to be hostel. The reception is very nice and helpful. The beds could be a little more comfortable but considering it's a hostel they're comfortable enough.

Overall solid hostel. I really appreciated the all-night made-to-order food available. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Some of the amenities were a bit shaky (the A/C wasn't great and one of the faceplates for the flush buttons in the ground floor bathrooms was off) but generally solid rooms.

Fabulous YHA. Clean, warm showers, friendly staff, well equipped self catering kitchen, big fridges with labels provided to identify your items! Hairdryer, straighteners and iron available to use free of charge (located in the laundry room). The street was quiet (a massive bonus if you've ever stayed in St Pancras YHA) It was very warm in London when I stayed so the added fan in the room I was in was much appreciated. If you want/need good Wi-Fi then it doesn't have this (very minimal patchy service) but I didn't so wasn't affected! There is bar and food available which looked great, I just didn't require it for my stay.

I stayed a long time ago already, but it was a good experience. The Staff were friendly and helpful. For a short stay in the city it is perfect.

Great location. Very clean. Bathroom in my room has decent wear on it. Needs new flooring. But not horrible. Kitchen is good and they have lots in the lobby. Only thing I didn't like is Wi-Fi was so bad! Only works in the lobby and part of the kitchen and it was so spotty! Kept logging me off : (

A very good experience I will return. In the center. You Can cook or eat in the bar next to the reception. Coin Washer and dryer. Refrigerators, kitchen, microwave, kitchenware… Shared or private room with private bathroom or hallway. All the possibilities… All very nice. Gemma the Spanish receptionist a charm…

I use London as a travel hub for Europe because this makes it such an easy stay. Central, clean, safe, well priced, close to Soho bars and restaurants and close to Regents Park but still providing the quieter enjoyment of Fitzrovia for the stay.

Lovely staff, amazing cheap prices, nice friendly community that hang around in the communal area, the rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonably sized, it is situated only a stone's throw away from the heart of London, and is easily in reach of many public transport lines, great hostel, would stay again!

A great location, the staff are all very friendly and the lobby café is great for relaxing. Our family is traveling a lot in YHA in Germany and we love the relaxed environment, here in London it's just like that, rooms are a bit small, just like in the camper but clean, since ever and we drive to the north, Thank you.

Amazing that in London employees do not know how to speak a language other than the local. In all the hostels I went to, the employees handled at least 2 languages, not here. The Wi-Fi is rubbish, on top that only works in the hall and in the kitchen, is bad and slow. I was placed in a room with older people who didn't even speak. The truth is, I wouldn't go back. The Wi-Fi is indispensable on a trip to be able to plan.

Great hostel prices fair comfortable rooms (eye to shower) and ideal location.

I was not the one staying but staff is incompetent. I had made a 4 day reservation for my daughter she needed one more night, so I called to see what was the last day of her stay and infact was told by a total of 3 people that she did not have a reservation. The net result is I paid twice for the same night. They refused to refund. I would never have done that but I was firmly told 2 and ultimately 3 could not find her reservation. I'm out a ton in international phone bill too.

Great Hostel. Big kitchen, a huge lounge with café and sofas. Really clean. And a very convenient location!

The location is perfect. Close to public transportation, but also convenient to walk in the city. Soho is very close walking, and also stores, restaurant band bars are very close to the hostel. The price of the hostel is very good, staff is adorable, the room are small but clean. I came when it was not very busy, I think in summer it could be noisy… But I really recommand it for backpackers.

The luxury top for a youth hostel, do not hesitate to participate in the pub crawl to spice up your stay and meet. A very friendly team all the necessary material available.

The location and everything else about the hostel was great. Clean and reception were very friendly. I'm not rating this a 3 because of the services at all but my experience staying in a female dorm. There should be a warning for those of you who are light sleepers. When you book a room at a hostel and staying with unfamiliar people please expect that you are not guaranteed a roommate who doesn't snore. I was in a room with 5 other women 4 had arrive at a around 9:30pm and we were asleep no problem what so ever. I snore sometimes and I can't help when that happens but there were no complaints everyone was fast asleep until a late comer arrive around 11:30pm. At this point she wasn't being very subtle about her presence which I didn't complain because it didn't bother me. It's expected. Then I fell back to sleep and every time I began to snore she would shake the bed roughly till I woke up. At around 2:30am I have up and left the room. At this point I just chilled in the café in the hostel, which is very cozy, till the time I left. Once again a hostel is not for you if you are a light sleeper so don't expect someone to be able to control when they snore.

I had a bad experience. Firstly the room wasn't that nice as the walls needed repair and the overall condition felt quite neglected. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm that only had 5 lockers. On the plus side, the bed had a power socket and a stand for personal items like phone. Secondly, the rooms didn't have Wi-Fi and the signal quality in the common areas was unworkable. There was also a distinct lack of power sockets in the common area. Thirdly, I had lost my phone charger. Buying a new one from reception was £5 for plug and £5 for the usb (2.0! ) cable to go into the plug. It felt like they were intentionally taking advantage of my unfortunate situation.

Staff really friendly and helpful, actually the rooms and bathrooms are at the bare minimum but if you're out all day to visit London it's irrelevant.

Good location, very close to tesco (grocery) staff is really nice. We got one room for 3 for 20pounds p. P. The room had own bathroom and 4 beds. Only thing bad is that you need to leave room before 10am.

I would stay here again. Clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Wifi available in the main areas, however relatively slow and often did not work well for me. Luckily there is a Pret a Manger (cafe) around the corner for when I needed better connection. Great location — a 30 minute walk from many theatres and Camden markets in the other direction. Priced reasonably, family friendly, good atmosphere.

This is one of the places to stay in Central London. Incredibly well run. Very clean and tidy. Excellent location.

Centrally located, clean, and very good value for money. Booked a family room and suited us perfectly for a an overnight stay.

Excellent hostel, accessible including the self catering kitchen, lovely breakfast and very helpful staff. It's the third time I've stayed here and I always enjoy it — it's where I go if I'm in central London. As a wheelchair user finding somewhere accessible is always an issue so it's great to find a place that can cater for me.

Not bad but there were some problems, plus I look like girls the s rooms.

Nice place, nice location. I didn't like that I didn't have Wi-Fi in the rooms but everything else was great. The coffee and cake are delicious!

It was a good and comfortable stay. Location is just above Soho so it was relatively quiet but close to a populated area. Good facilities and high security. Annoyances would include the dryer not working after 10pm and that the rooms are insanely hot during summer.

I did not expect to have service store luggage for you if your check-out was before you left the city, that was an extra that was too much help! The service and attention from staff was excellent, very friendly all!

Pleasant Hostel in central London, friendly, young, Qurillig.

At first glance the hotel seems very modern. The location is very central and easy to find. The staff was nice and always reachable. Our room was a bit small for four people but that didn't bother us. I can definitely recommend the hotel for younger groups up to 35.

Comfortable and friendly hostel. It has all the necessary services to have a quiet stay and meet people from various countries. It has private rooms for family travel. Right in the heart of London. You can walk to most of the points of interest.

Bed are good but room a bit small. Very clean and safe location in Central London. Most of the staff are kind and helpful. I think it's the best deal price/location in that neighborhood even though this is my first time in London and my first stay. China town and Soho is closed by. Buckingham place, London eye, Big Ben, parliament square and downing street — all walking distance. Recommended to anyone.

It is not a 4-star HOTEL, but a 4-star MOTEL (the description above doesn't fit D:)
I found the stay in the YHA very good
The Breakfast is good (of course, not so great choice of accommodation in a Hotel, but we had fresh Croissants, a good selection of jam, various cereals with milk or yoghurt, Toast, of course, a variety of hot and cold drinks, …) and the only ca £5 per Person. To the Motel around there are super Restaurants (for example, The oriental dragon with uuunheimlich delicious food) and the Area is generally very pleasant and nice. The next Underground Station (Oxford circus) is a 7-8min walk. The room: under the bed it was very dusty, but otherwise everything made a very neat and clean impression. I was able to sleep on the mattresses on the bunk beds. Everyone has a reading light and at least one outlet directly on the bed, and if you don't have the Adapter, you can easily buy one for £4 at reception. The staff is extremely friendly umd also funny. In the evening there is in the "community room", there is every evening different actions (Burger do-it-yourself, Mario Kart spielem, …), not have participated in which I, and my family. In addition, the Motel offers a free London tours and help in the search Activities in London (the me and my Fam are not entitled to these benefits)

We stayed here in the evening for a stag do and got 4 big private rooms which had a private shower and toilet, and also access to a communal one. It was a really great and cheap for 14 of us. Parking close by was about £30 per car, and we had 3. Worked out to be about £35 per head for central London accommodation in summer. The room was fantastic, everyone had a plug to charge their phone and a light. The beds were bunk beds and had a nice duvet cover.

I stated here with my Girl Scout troop. The hostel was clean & safe, and staff were friendly but the rooms had no air conditioning and the showers were a nightmare. The shower heads sprayed out far and were not adjustable. Also they would flood into the sleeping area because the curtains get blown around and the head sprays outward. Another part we didn't like was no Wi-Fi in the rooms.

Awesome place for bachelors or group of friends to stay in London Central. This is the most central place in London Central and at very reasonable prices. They have thought through the entire hostel culture as: — Basement (-1 Floor) is Kitchen — Ground Floor is Lobby — Everyone is seated here and only place where Internet is available — First Floor is Laundry Rest other floors are built with shared rooms with sharing RestRooms. They provide Blanket with each bed. The staff is really accommodating and helping for the tourists. Overall, I loved the Experience.

Great service, location, and activities. There are events every day, such as bar crawls or game nights, to keep you entertained. You can also get discount tickets to theater shows and attractions. Staff is kind and helpful. The only thing is that rooms can get really hot (I went in the summer) so get a bed by a fan or bring a light blanket as the ones provided can get heavy.

I stayed in an 8 bedded female room on a Saturday night before I did the London to Brighton BHF charity cycle ride. I wanted to be up early and not spend a lot on the accommodation. I was impressed by the location and the facilities, making use of the kitchen to cook myself dinner and it was nice to as socialise with the other guests. I took a little stroll around the area, quickly finding myself a Tesco Express to get a few bits and a wander towards Oxford Circus and past Broadcasting House was only about 5 — 10 minutes away. Buses, tubes and cycle hire are all relatively close by. It only took me 10 minutes to cycle from Kings Cross. My bike was stored safely in the office for me overnight, which was great. My bed was comfortable, I had a few problems with the power to my top bunk, but the resident below me had decided to unplug it and luckily I realised, else I'd have had no phone battery the following day and the phone would probably have run out of power before my alarm went off. The shower was excellent — hot and good power to it. The only downside was that some residents need educating on being more courteous to other guests. Some of us had chosen to go to bed early. Indeed one lady was in bed when I arrived at 7:30. I acted accordingly, by being quiet, not turning the light on and leaving the room to sort out anything noisy.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Reception is open 24 Stuntden. Prices are really ok. I stayed in the 6 beds room. 2 floor ok were the beds. Breakfast good and sufficient. Own large kitchen — fully equipped, should you cook yourself what. City/transport/supermarket, walk to everything just around the corner. Large lockable compartments. Castle bring. Socket adapter, and Ear Plugs (snorers! ) there's at the Desk, I had forgotten. Cleanliness was ok. For me the place to sleep, however, was the most important. Sleep and in the morning after Breakfast to go out at Night to Sight-seeing/nightlife. Keycard for the room and the entrance. On the negative side, the decrepit, the rooms/bathroom are. To spend all in all a good choice and a cheap Alternative to a couple of days in London.

I ask for a luggage deposits for just one day because I am shortly departing from London to Cambridge and I promise to come back to next day to pick my baggage but I was refused. I had to take all luggage a by myself to the London Kisscross on a rainy day. I don't think it is very considerable to treat a client who stays at your place for 3 days like this even it is s hostel.

Nice bar and reasonable prices. Good atmosphere, and showed the football on sky too!

In hostel book, cheap, and there good. The key is the surrounding infrastructure is very good, walking to Notting Hill.

Very helpful staff, very clean, big kitchen, well organized. I recommend the free walking tours (given by Undiscovered London, but I don't think they tell you that up front).

The fact that this place has a kitchen will save you a significant amount of money compared to eating out in London. The rooms are warm and clean. Service is terrible if you try to use email, but if you call or go in person you'll get great service. The cafe downstairs is reasonably priced and good quality as well.

I visited family staying here before we went out and explored London. The staff were helpful, the rooms were very clean, and the restaurant serves delicious pizza!

Very central location. Perfect to spend three or four nights. Quality price very accomplished. The continental breakfast buffet is highly recommended. The staff very friendly and willing to help. If there can be something negative would be the bathrooms of the rooms which are somewhat small.

Home to be in Central London. Hostel with pleasant staff and full of activities for exploring London by day and night (I recommend the ride on bike). Rooms a bit small but that hardly matters.

Very clean, very modern. Worked great for the Girl Guide trip I was on, they had us set up in two different rooms. The was a full kitchen in the basement we could use. Cheap way of feeding 10 people breakfast every morning. Bathrooms are small, rooms are decent size, nothing extravagant. The common area seemed nicely set up, never got a chance to use it. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again.

I have been for three nights in a private room with three of your friends with a private bathroom and has been quality perfect price. Clean and well located. Above all give thanks to Gonzalez and Gabriel have behaved great with us.

L found this yha spotless, great helpful staff and a nice place to relax in the cafe and plan your stay in London. The rooms are of a high standard, not huge but comfortable. This yha is excellent value and would recomend paying extra five pounds for breakfast. This YHA is quiet, but stilll close to all the tourists areas and transport. Regents Park is 15 minutes walk, and is worth visiting and a place to see the amazing flowers, trees and water gardens, flora and fauna is every where. Chill out there! Book early as it was full the days l stayed.

Had a great time in this hostel. It's near from Oxford Street and there are lot of stuff. It's clean, friendly and safety.

Spent three days here. Shower was a bit smelly however the dorm room was great. So warm and surprisingly comfortable matress. Loved the lounge/bar area. Great vibes and friendly service. Really good pizza and nachos.

Good value for money hostel. The staff were friendly and available 24 h. Very comfortable bedrooms, although depending on the luck you have to sleep can be more or less difficult. To improve the bathrooms, which is not that they can not be used, but could be more clean. Very comfortable to be able to save and make your own food. Location quite good, but if you have money, maybe better a hotel, although London is very expensive.

I recommend it to everyone if you are with friends, and you want to take a step back in youth.

Had a great two-nights stay at this hostel. The location is excellent. Found it clean, safe, good vibes, friendly and helpful staff and great services. There was no apparent noise during the two nights I stayed, so I slept very well. (stayed a friday and a saturday night). Appreciating the availability of baggage storage room (the room is looked), laundry (did not use this time), kitchen (did not use this time), breakfast from 6am, front desk open 24hs, free maps etc. They also indicate many ideas for activities and tips for the stay. Internet available at charge (did not use this time). Each bed has at least one place for charging electrical devices (I had happened to have two available). Safe storage of bag in the room (big lockers, bring or hire a pad lock for it). Fast at answering questions per email (for example before the trip). Depending on what time you would want to go to bed/rest/sleep you might want to bring an eyebag and earplugs. In the room I stayed it was pretty quiet (both inside the room and the street outside), so I didn't have to use the earplugs. Eyebag came in handy when I went to bed pretty early one night, since the others were not sleeping and the main light was on. Towel is not included, can be rented. The bed is fully equipped and warm. The individual lamps (at each bed) I find are placed so it doesn't disturb the other people too much. My room had a sink, and toilet+shower outside in the corridor.

The best hostel along the trip :).

This hostel was one of the best that we're. The location is really top, and the staff is really nice. The reception is staffed 24/7 and is helpful. The food, which you can buy is really cheap and really tasty! Close to many shopping possibilities and Baker Street underground station is just around the corner. All in all a top youth hostel, as the rooms are really clean and tidy.

My mother and I (perhaps both counting as "old weird and freaky" travellers) stayed at this hostel for 5 days on her first trip to Britain. Both of us found the rooms to be clean and convenient, the kitchen was large and well appointed (though some of the younger travellers did not clean up after themselves as promptly as is polite in a shared kitchen), and the location could not be beat. Yes, the cliental in this hostel is a bit older; I'm still under 40 and I found this to be a bonus. They are quiet, and no one woke us up at 3am coming in loud and late (as happened to me at another hostel in the area). So I would heartily reccommend this hostel to any traveller who values quiet in their accommodation. There are many twin and double rooms available, for reasonable rates. It's not the cheapest option in the area, but it's a nice balance between price and privacy. The staff were excellent.
