It does not smell good. There is music at night in direct to the side of the room. Impossible to sleep until more of the 3. Charge the coffee at breakfast that claims to be free but only includes coffee in powder. The breakfast is simple. There are many small stairs and incomodisimas to climb up the luggage. Bus 24 hours 4£ at the door. The staff is friendly but sparse in the tasks. It is not very clean. The bathroom is innundado and or arrange or clean it up.

Receptionists and staff were great, bed was comfy and although I chosen a shared room but didn't have any problems. Free drinks whole day is a great bonus and breakfast really fulfilling. They have everything you can expect in a breakfast. If you are coming to London and looking for a budget deal, just go for it.

Great service and very welcoming but after being shown my bed I was informed by another guest that I was in his bed so better bed organisation needed other than that absolutely fantastic.

Kind of more like travel bare minimum. The location is good, but the bed I had is so uncomfortable that it literally feels like bare springs on my back. I tried to pad it with the comforter provided, which did help, but the hostel didn't have any extra blankets, so I used a few extra towels and a scarf to make a makeshift blanket. I shouldn't have to choose between looking like a homeless person or sleeping uncomfortably when i'm paying ~25£ a night.

Our stay at Travel Joy hostel in London was awesome! They have a great reception, very welcoming and informative. They lend towels and give earplugs free, and there's a free complimentary breakfast where you can order omelettes and other things. Bedrooms (with lockers in the room or hall), bathrooms, common area aren't upscale but are well kept. The bunk beds move a lot so don't expect the best sleep. Location is pretty good.

It was cool… Though the 10-bedded room was initially a little bit awkward… But it kind of affords you opportunities to meet new people… Plus… All drinks are free… Had enough of cola while there… Great and friendly staff too.

When working in London this is the perfect place to stay if you're trying to save money and not have to pay astronomical prices. It's central location and close to transport links has saved me thousands over the years. As hostels go, it's always been quiet in my experience and with free Wi-Fi, free soft drinks and free breakfast is always served me well.

Service was great. I like that they keep bags stored for free and that Wi-Fi, breakfast, and fizzy drinks were complimentary. Lodgings were acceptable. I also appreciate how the staff allowed me to hang on the couch downstairs for as long as I wanted.

Rooms are decent size, breakfast is tasty, anf the staff are fun!

The location is great! It's next to a 24 hour bus stop, and a 13 minute walk from Pimlico station. Typical beds and washrooms, and they're what you expect. Their omelette is the bomb, and they have free drinks all day and night. Also, their Internet is really fast and it's not limited to the lobby. Staff are soo friendly too, I definitely recommend this hostel. (on the second night, they didn't have hot water which was a bummer… It got fixed the next day)

I liked the location of hostel. Most of tourist places are easily accessible by bus. Hostel is clean and good in safety of luggage.

Location is great, very close to underground lines and bus stops. The bar area is cool and the breakfast is the best Hostel breakfast I have had so far. Rooms are pretty standard small and crowded but not bad for sleeping. The Wi-Fi is great, I get it throughout the building. The bathrooms… The showers specifically are not so great, very dirty. You have too many people sharing limited showers so the staff can't possibly keep the clean in the morning. Other than that I would stay here again, good price for London.

No bloody vinegar for their chips, foreign scum!

I spent two nights at this nice hostel where I could see the Thames from my room. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has free breakfast, they give you a towel, there are free soft drinks and you can use a padlock for a 5£ deposit.

Nice quiet area of town with easy bus and tube access. Very few electrical outlets per room and hot water often runs out in the morning. Some of the showers flood.

I liked this hostel and they have a decent breakfast.

The facilities are good for the price. Friendly, helpful staff. Amenities are a welcome addition, free breakfast was more substantial than other hostels on similar price ranges.

Friendly hostel with pleasant staff. Damage whether if Pack in the rooms, the shower lacks a bit of power, and that they are so large. Breakfast and free drinks throughout the day.

Very good quality/price ratio! Nice place and atmosphere. Conforts over the expectations for that prices. I paid £18 for a bed in a 6 bed dorm with personal bathroom. Nice breakfast included too. Top.

Great place, friendly staff.

This place was awesome! Free drinks (juice/coffee/sodas), free breakfast, Wi-Fi, salsa classes, movie nights, discounted happy hour. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Despite the large dorm room style sleeping arrangements, it was very homey and for a great price! I would definitely come back.

As for as hostels go, this place was ok. When we first arrived we had 3 staff members storm in and out of are room with no explanation 2 minutes after us arriving there. I went down stairs to confront them about this and the self attempted overly charming guy behind the bar said that they were there to check the bathroom. This happened again the day after with the cleaner who once again didn't knock and made a b-line to our bathroom. It was wierd! Also they ran out of pancakes on the New Year morning pancake breakfast which was extremely frustrating. Also would it kill then to clean under the sofa's downstairs? But the staff behind the bar were polite and the room was clean and we felt safe staying there.

3 days 2 nights in October 2014. Staff were very friendly! Place was clean! Breakfast was standard but hot drinks and soft drinks were free! Location was perfect. I still wonder how they make money for the price they charge.

Good-ambiace, good service, but trees packed in rooms. Floors are black dirt, the walls are full of scenes, be it in the bar or in the room and the smell is tenacious, especially on the stairs covered with carpet.

Amazing experience! Clean, hospitable, reasonable pricing for it's location. I would recommend even my grandmother to stay here.

I am writing this review here even if I stayed in hostel in Wimbledon Travel joy hostels. That is because I paid cash and in the hostel when I arrived. Normally to write a review you have to book through their website. I believe each hostel has different vibe an different customers. Here in Wimbledon are laid back and easy going people including the staff. I came here stressed out and its like going from extreme to extreme. I felt really calmer and relaxed after one night I could trust again. As it is written on their website about the facilities is true. Also if you forget soap, they have spare one to use in the shower room, and hot water too! I would recommend this hostel to people who are troubled with domestics at home and need to refresh their mind, for people who want to live in community in countryside or in co-op in London but wants to try it first, (though mind you each place is different), here is really good relaxing vibe. If you don't like snoring people then it is not for you, though after third night, you will definitely fall in sleep. And there is more into this hostel/s, in Wimbledon hostel they serve free breakfast cereal, boiled eggs, bread, jams, juices tea, coffee, hot chocolate. For me is strange breakfast, but if I don't like it I can cook my own food in the kitchen! There is one freezer and 2 fridges. Behind a corner is Morrison supermarket so you can buy cheap ingredients there, even in reduction.

Great value for money and great service. Preferred.
