We had a great time, clean, tidy, super breakfasts. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location with 2 very close metro stations! If I return to London it will definitely still be our hotel! Great!

I was in London in October 2018 for 3 weeks and stayed at the Phoenix. Central to everything, Great value for the Canadian money … Got to know the front desk representatives they were fabulous thank you. The breakfast buffet very delicious lots of choices. The maid service great. They could do enough for us. I had medication that had to be in the fridge, they brought me a little bar fridge … I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Excellent value for money in a perfect location between Bayswater and Queensway tube stations, with ideal access to the District line and Wimbledon! Fabulous reception staff, especially the lady who helped me with my Wi-Fi access on my iPad, incredibly patient, happy to help with a lovely smile! Room was comfortable, clean and modern. Continental breakfast was great, and plentiful! Excellent facilities all round! Thanks for a great stay. Would highly recommend.

Sunday roast was lovely. The newly refurbished interior decor is pleasant to the eye, whilst retaining the period looks of the internal and external structure. Good selection of bevies too.

Fabulous location, functional and very clean rooms, staff bend over backwards to accommodate guest needs and the continental breakfast that’s included in the room rate is the best I have ever had. This will be my new go to hotel in London from now on. Excellent value for money!

Went here to watch Liverpool Man City CL game, good atmosphere, standard range of drinks at normal prices.

Chicken and mushroom pie was good. There is no dinning room upstairs or we didn’t find it. There are also tables outside and if the weather is good it is very pleasant to sit there.

Was the old Moscow, back in the day. Typical green king pub. Nothing special. As typical GK ran out of the beer I fancied, and didn't have the cotes du provence rose advertised. Nor did it have the Spanish grenache rose, which was the next best thing. Chain seems to OWN the whole street.

Great staff, wines at good prices, a mix of locals and tourists. Very welcoming. Has all major football games on. Whether on your own or with a group this is a great place to drink and hangout. Food better than most local pubs.

It's pretty cool. Has big screens for football etc, doesn't get too crowded. Generally older patrons but this varies.

The air conditioner is set to about 5 degrees, which makes waiting a bit more difficult. When we asked the waitress if she could put down the air conditioner nothing happened. When asking again, it was then changed, but only after waiting.

Good pub, very clean with good pub grub. Beers and lagers seem to be better than other pubs close by.

Bad experience with one employee. 30 or so year old employee discriminated against me when he realized I was American by my accent. I was first in line and he skipped me to serve someone else and continued to ignore me. Thankfully, a wonderful female coworker of his served me. We were going to order food but took our business elsewhere because of him. Only 1 star review ive ever posted.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, It is exceptionally clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and as London hotel prices go it is reasonably priced. On this occasion it was a business trip and I booked a single room which was small, clean and adequate. Tea and coffee in the room, lovely clean towels, hairdryer. When I stayed there previously, a couple of years ago it was with friends for a short break in London. I had a double room with my husband. The standard was excellent. The rooms are not exceptionally spacious but just what you need. Again the staff were friendly and helpful. It is near to Bayswater and Queensway underground stations so it is easy for commute. Love this hotel and I hope to be going back there soon.

I liked it very much. Large screen for sports transmissions are also available so you can also watch beer football.

Popped in for a drink as I was passing. A little gem of a pub, lovely relaxed decor but modern but still having that nice pub feel. Decided to stop for lunch which was delicious. Experience topped with a very welcoming and friendly team behind the bar.

Not too bad a pub with a reasonable selection of drinks & food. However, I had a wait of over 45 minutes for a single meal on a quiet Monday evening. Poor service.

Came to watch the football and the pub were understaffed. Bit of miscommunication between the staff regarding when food would be served but they did their best. It's a nice pub, part of Greene King chain. We had the nachos and Hunter's chicken which was good. There is a large screen with mutliple tvs to watch sport.

Amazing and contemporary touch of art interior. Good facilities and great location. Breakfast we'll organise except for the staff little attitude. But regardless I will still return to feel that vibe again.

Tight space for a double room. Good quality for the price range. The breakfast is okay — — the table area is also a tight space and without any sort of traffic control on assignment, so be sure to indicate you've nabbed a table or you may be in for a dispute with some other guest.

Not huge room by American USAian standards. But nice, clean, comfortable bed. No airconditioning so be aware of needing to open windows. They do furnish a fan. Bathroom is good and good shower.

Nice hotel, very nice. Centrally located and well served, with both bus and metro stops are just about 200 meters from the hotel.

I was together with my daughter to celebrate her 16 birthday, from August 26 to September 1. Nothing more to say! This hotel is so great! Clean and tidy, Metro, friendly staff, professional service, breakfast was great, at home. To certainly stay at this hotel again! Wanted the hotel to be able to be consistent. They call customers friendly, call my name. Love them every detail!

Very close to Bayswater station but not being on the main road, this pub might discourage the presence of walking-by tourists. The pub is quite traditional and features large screens to enjoy sports events, a pool table and the menu contains everything you will expect from a pub. The staff is friendly and helpful.

First time in this hotel, booked it after a recommendation. As some people said before, cramped up rooms, Wi-Fi not stable etc, noisy,. Etc. At least the rooms are clean. Not even a mini bar for a bottle of water in the room, or even a safe to lock up my laptop, blablabla. Was expecting much more, based on the reviews on other websites. I will not come back for sure in this hotel.

We were there from 01 11 2013 2013 04.11. The rooms are small but all very clean, and the breakfast was really good.
Staff was also very good.

Don't get me wrong, at the prices they charge I did not expect much, howver I would have to say I expected more, Best Western should take their name as far away from this hotel as possible. Noisy and extremely cramped rooms. If you get the wrong room you will hardly be able to turn around inside your room. I will not come back here again, the great location is the only saving grace for this hotel.

I booked this hotel because they offered Wi-Fi in the rooms. Unfortunately it didn't work well. The connection was not stable and was very slow. In four days I had not even half an hour of proper working Wi-Fi. So if you need Wi-Fi in your room, better book another hotel. It is hard to get hot water for showering in the morning. If you lower the pressure of water you might have a chance, but then the water is nearly dropping. If there are just a few guest showering, it might be better. So you should avoid showering between 7am and 10am. And the breakfast room is small. There are three rooms, but the tables stand narrow and sometimes you have to wait to get a table.

The fish and chips are excellent. I suggest you order the large fish meal with peas. The service was also great.

nearby, there is a huge shopping centre and several small supermarkets.

We were in June 2011 there; simple but very well run and above all clean hotel. Reception and breakfast staff very friendly and helpful. Single room 57 GBP, double room 71 GBP cheapest prices are included breakfast buffet which is very good (croissants, bread, toast, cereals, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, ham, cheese, juices, etc. ) all very appealing. We will descend there again at the next London trip with safety!
Well the location: tube Bayswater and Queensway in 3-5 minutes walk. Paddington station on foot in ca 10-12 min. As Portobello market can be reached in 10 minutes.

Despite lack of amplitude, it is cozy. The environment is quite nice and quiet. The attention is great, the right service and the buffet breakfast also good. For that look for good value for money, highly recommended.

This hotel is really great! Very nice staff, clean rooms and bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi is also included in the price.
A double room for 89, 00 GBP is real fine and that even in this situation. Breakfast was also ok.

I came back yesterday from London, and so walk we saw it and we decided to enter, and the truth the best we have seen and been there in London. Priced very well for what you might find as the Monday for example was the day of the pints to 1.60 pound. But it's Monday 2 something. And then the food on Monday to dine on dishes such as combined here to a 3 pound something, but it is Monday, were 4 pounds, but go to a food very rich with your sauce and all. The environment um nice and ls of the pub it =) I recommend it with total safety.
