Stayed here with a family of six. Breakfast was good (aside from one morning where they ran out of food! The got more but I took some time while they ran out to get it! ). The room was a bit small — but for sleeping it was decent! Fabulous location! Good kitchenette area! Very Safe. Near three metro stops and grocery stores. Excellent restaurants nearby! Don’t miss Grilandia — the Lebanese place very close by! Best prices in this area for a large family.

Pathetic Hotel! Paid a fortune to stay at a “fantastic” hotel, it is an absolute disgrace. Constantly having cold showers and the staff continue to lie about there hot water saying our room is the only room without hot water blaming us. Little do they know my girlfriend and myself moved away from the family hotel room and got our own room and it’s still freezing. Absolutely garbage House keeping cleaning woke us up twice for cleaning at 0800 and then 0654, apparently no one sleeps in on holidays Staff are so unhelpful and rude, no one seems to like working there. Kettle was broken and they replaced it with the same kettle, it leaks through the on switch which is great for safety 1 star review was honestly being generous…

Our family stayed here for 10 days. Room is very spacious to have 4 beds and one small kitchen which we used every day. There are couple of yummy restaurants around the bayswater station and it just takes 5 to walk from the hotel. Also we have Tesco, local grocery stores and Waitrose where we bought grocery at cheap price. Just 7 min walk to Kensington park which is a value added point to this hotel's location.

Brilliant! Booked for 4days. After check in, staff kindly carried our bag to the room. The room was clean and spacious. Bath room also. Breakfast was so nice. And room service is okay. Staff were helpful and kind. This hotel is very close to the tube station! So it's easy to get to central London. I have totally nothing to complain about. Thank you for a great time! :)

Upgrade kitchenette facilities… be more clear about the difference between a studio and appartment in regards to how many rooms you get not just how many beds they can squeeze in. It is clean enough but very dated and worn out.

An absolute rip off. Overpriced dungeons. See photo’s one room with flies. So hot had to open windows and this is what is outside which filled the room with flies. Note all th bird poo and rubbish directly outside the open window and apparently this is acceptable. Very poor standards.

They cheated the guests specifying there is air con in the rooms, but only very few rooms have air con, and u have to pay £90 per night extra. Why stay in this little place if u could have stayed in the Hilton with that price?
Dont ever come to this hotel in summer. It is like a boiler!

The pictures are deceiving. The place has a strange smell. The noise from the street was very disturbing. We did not enjoy our stay at this place!

Very unsatisfied. The staff were rude and unapproachable, the floor is uneven and hilly, the carpet is stained, marks all over the walls, minimal to no heating in very hot and stuffy rooms, all together quite dirty. The water temp in the shower was unreliable and fluctuated from hot to cold. I found hair all over my bed and so did others who I was staying with. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone at all. Would give it 0 stars if that was possible.

We stayed 4 days in an apartment at number 32.
We didn't have much kitchenware, but since we weren't going to cook, we didn't care. The room and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Cleaning is every 3 days (although we were 4 and did not clean, but if you need anything you can ask for it at the front desk).
It is well located near 2 metro stations: Bayswater and Queensway, as well as there are bars, supermarkets and shops on the street of the meters. Hyde Park is next door as well.

We stayed in holy week 5 people. The room was spacious and clean. Good communication and centric.

The only thing this place has going for it is the location. If you arrive early and want to leave your luggage they charge you £5 per bag! The beds for the extra people was a sofa bed for the additional two people. There were no sheets or towels for the additional people. It took several attempts to get this sorted. The fridge never got cold even after three days. The shower was either boiling or cold. The staff while not rude were a dismal bunch and not in the least helpful. The furniture was decrepit. No complementary teas or coffee. The whole experience was hopeless and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Stay away.

Not good experience with this hotel, we booked two apartments and paid good money but put in rooms like wharehoue no ventilation, corr8doer smelled of dead rats, not liveable at all, but had no choice except to stay there for two nights with small children W o proper sleep because of excessive heat. Hotel management was rather rude in handling the problem, we told them we are paying good money so they have to provide good liveable accommodation, Finally at extra cost we were moved to other rooms with cooling. All about making extra money, no value for money concept There other American guests complaining and it was almost we stood out sid3 hotel for protest The issue was brought to general manager by counter manager Andrew for refund of 1st two nights due to unliveable conditions but he refused saying it was hotel policy If hotel policy is made to fleece people with families and kids coming several thousands K m far away than hotel regulatory authorities shd step in for fair treatment Mr jaffer Room no 20, 21 and now 109 and 111

NO Air conditioning! It's terribly hot and stuffy! Noy great for summer. It is small but comfortable. Staff are lovely.

As you enter, the reception asks for a 200 pounds deposit which I'm still waiting to be returned. The room was small for three people and It was so hot as hell. Uncomfortable sofa-bed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good. At The entrance they charge a percentage of money as insurance if you break something, in my opinion they had nothing worth as much as to collect what they charged us. The situation is pretty good, anyway you can move in Uber no problem.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was very well equipped, for those who are worried about the subject of the stairs in London, it has a lift so it was a relief to go up the suitcases! Also has a cell phone that you can use, there you can find everything you want. I recommend it!

Right Hotel. We only used the room services which were expected for the price we had paid.
The only thing that bothered us was the fact of getting to the room. It was a maze of narrow aisles and doors in which it was easy to get lost.

Very good location, correct reception, but soundproofing of the rooms very bad (noise of passage side street and ventilation side courtyard, for the location if you have heavy sleep.

We do not recommend this hotel. Studio 4 people side street very very poorly soundproof: we hear noise in the street very late at night we even participate in conversations! Unsuitable bedding for children: extremely old bed sofa. We sleep in the woods. Almost non-existent mattress! A horror.

A very cosy and comfortable place in the heart of London. Enjoyed it's nearness to Kensington gardens. Hospitable and helpful staff. Grand plaza gave us a memorable stay indeed. Especially bcos it snowed that weekend. Whole hearted recommendation for this place.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for visiting Kensington palace, Notting hill, portebello rd market, and Whiteleys shopping mall. And about a mile or two from Westfield West London one of the largest shopping centres in Europe.

The people in the room above us flooded the bathroom and all the water came into our room. No one from the hotel staff told us until we discovered that our bed was completely wet and went to the reception to complain. Then they moved us to a lower ground room (we were at 1st floor) that was under the restaurant, meaning that it was incredibly loud (you could hear everyone walking on your head, tables moving, plates dropping, etc. ) and they didn't even refund at least one night for what h appened to us.
Definitely not a pleasant stay.

This hotel is wonderful for you if you like: — To pay too much for the quality you get — Like rude staff that seem like they hate being at work — Want to stay in a shoebox — Love noise all through the night — Love horrible bathrooms with leaking baths and towels the size of faceclothes. If you have to stay there, avoid any G apartments. They are right by the restaurant and people literally walk past your bedroom all night long. Ooooh dear. Pick your game up not so Grand Plaza. Check out their warning too for what happens in the area about fake police.

Very nice place, very central. Pretty good accommodation in value for money. In the northwest part of Hyde Park, with Metro and bus stops very close. Street with many shops and Tesco supermarkets very close too.

The best hospitality that we can have… Excellent staff and comfortable rooms. I fully recommend my family’s and friends to stay here. Easy access, near by halal food, near by tube station… Etc…

For me, although it feels like I'm in maze runner, but it has it's own way of giving me the comfort I need and that's just what I need after a long day of walking around London. Everything else is standard, the service, room cleaning, pretty satisfied. There are also vending machines inside for a quick snack (more like chocolate) or drink which came in handy.

Great apartment, nice room, clean, complete with all the comforts, including very convenient location to everything, shops, Metro etc. My family and I were very happy, so I highly recommend it!

The location is perfect if you're visiting with small children. Close to the underground, park and several bus stops. The problem however lies in the apartment interior. We were 6 (2 small ones) and 4 of us had to sleep on a couch that had to be propped with pillows in order to stay upright. The second problem was that the app offered a kitchen with a nice stove… but only a single pan, single pot and one dull knife. I had a lot of problem cooking meals for my daughters.

I would rate this place 0 if I could. This place is by far the worst place I've ever stayed. Paid £185 a night and the room was boiling hot, air conditioning wasn't working. The windows couldn't open. I've asked for ice 3 times until some arrived hours later. People walking around the whole night making you very uncomfortable. Room was dusty and the bed were two singles pushed together to make a double which kept sliding with each turn. Paying that much amount the breakfast wasn't even included so had to pay extra £15 for it. Please avoid and don't waste money and time there.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I made a typo in my checkout date and even though I immediately called to fix it, and the hotel is not sold out, they refused to amend the checkout date, and even spelled my name wrong when they wrote me back. Clearly a GREEDY company that DOES NOT CARE about it's customers at all.

On arrival staff were friendly. Booked an appartment for 3 people for the carnival weekend. Walked into the room… was like stepping off a plane in cyprus… asked for someone to come and fill thevportable aircon unit. They did. But it made zero difference.
Asked reception to book a taxi. They wouldn't… was that hot. We didnt sleep all night. It was awful… when we finally dropped off… we were woken at 8.30a by housekeeping knocking! Check out is 11! … then they knocked again at at 9.45. Talk about feeling like you were being thrown out.
On check out. I asked the receptionist where I could leave my comments… she said why. I explained … she told me to write it in tripadvisor! I asked. Really? You want me to write a negative comment? She said di what you need… I was gobsmacked. So here I am. Telling you all x

It's well located. Clean. The staff is not particularly friendly. Very small apartment.

This place is sufficient for a family of five or six. It has a mini kitchenette and pull out here. Turnover rate is so high that the Housekeeping team has a hard time keeping up the cleaniness and you can feel the dust in the rooms. The bathrooms are abit of a hazard as the glass partition is held with a swing hinge and getting in and out of the bathtub can be quite a challenge as there are no bars to assist you to get into the slightly raised baths. Not sure how they get the authorization on having this cleared as a hotel and I know it sure does not pass the safety issue. Front staff is mediocre and can be quite brash. So if you are looking for comfort not recommended but location is very central.

Perfect location, comfortable beds, helpful staff, kitchenette equipped with the indispensable. Surprised for the bail of £200 not specified. Clean rooms but need some retouching/repairs. I would return, Consigliatissima to those who do not fix too much on the details.

Fantastic location and service in London. Especially liked the reception staff, who were so helpful and accommodating. Our room was perfectly equipped for our needs — the air con was much appreciated in 33degree heat! The in house restaurant had a fabulous range of breakfast options, with wonderful staff — especially the maitre de, a woman with dark hair.

Great location near Hyde Park, many supermarkets/ restaurants The Whiteleys Shopping Mall & 2 Underground stations. It's very convenient to stay here to be able to use a finely-equipped kitchen to make our own dinner and a dining table to eat in central London. The rubbish bin is very large for those who cook and need to throw away containers, and the trash bags are taken away daily. We are blessed to have two large windows to enjoy light with views and are grateful to stay on the ground floor because our son uses a wheel chair. The room is quite spacious and is cleaned and offered clean towels as well as other cleansers daily.

First time in London, booked the place in advance as I liked the look of the rooms, got there was very disappointed, we booked for a family of three, the sofa bed had no sheets or duvet cover, no pillow cases or protectors, the floor looked like it hadn't even been hoovered and the veiw was absolutely disgusting, staff looked very miserable and not friendly, I for one couldn't wait to check out, which was earlier than usual, and the woman didn't even ask if we enjoyed our stay, would not recommend to any of my friends.

We (Husband, daughter and me) had a short stay at the Grand Plaza in mid Mar 2016. Location is very good — very near restaurants, Bayswater tube and Queensway tube as well as grocery stores (Tesco, Sainsbury), Boots Pharmacy and souvenir shops all within 10 mins walking distance. One of the Sainsbury stores opens till midnight. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful esp Patrick. We were in a 2Bedroom apartment. The master room was not too big but okay. The arrangement in the other room with the kitchen was odd — the bed faces the door while the dining table was further in. Bathroom was clean and with enough hot water — no complaints. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

This is a wonderful place to stay when in London — the location is strategic, the rooms are big and clean (as compared to the tiny places elsewhere), the staff are caring and efficient and it is a home away from home. All these for a very reasonable price. Will recommend highly for a stay in London.

Second stay here, and delighted to return. The comfort of large fully-equipped rooms is enhanced by friendly staff and great location. Also served best-ever nasi lemak breakfast in london!

It was " good enough" at best. The staff wasn't very helpful or friendly except for maybe one or two people, the rooms were not at all what they looked like online. We were told there was no smoking areas when there were some shown on the map (wut). Our microwave didn't work at all, I had a TV in the bedroom (the main TV was in the other room with the kitchenette) that didn't even work, it was just a monitor that wasn't connected to anything! What's the point?! What I can say was although the rooms weren't that fancy, we made it our temporary home from home, and the bed and bathrooms were quite nice! I liked the towel warmers! Also the location was perfect and very convenient! So while this may not be my first choice if I had to choose again, it was… okay at best.

Excellent location and connection by Metro. The outside does not correspond to small apartments at the end of corridors Lakes, not reflected in advertising.

We really only had the problem that a heat wave coincided us and the rooms do not have air conditioning. For the rest the people of reception was helpful in assisting us with the way of going to the sites and the location is very good, to foot both PortoBello and Hyde Park with everything you need 2 minutes to foot. A and bicycles nearly on the door stop.
