Stay away. The hotel is lacking propper maintenance. I can imagine it looked good few years back but now it's well below standard. Dirty bathroom, missing tiles, holes in the wall etc.

How do people say this place is nice! Warning do not waste your money to book here! I didn’t sleep one wink this is horrific place! The mattress was 10 years old with dents! There was no there to check me in! They left early! And when I complained the next day. I didn’t hear back from management! Only good is the location! You could sleep on the park bench and save your money!

We booked a room for the Sunday 1st of April. After arriving at the hotel we checked in and went to our room. Well! We opened the cupboard with the fridge and kettle in which was dirty with old tea cups and used tea bags and milk! So I went back down to reception at 5.45 to which it was closed and all staff gone, I tried ringing but no answer only answer phone. I went back to room and looked around more to see a puddle under radiator from a leak and the the shower was black with grime and dirt. The room was cold and dingy the window seal was blown from wet damp and had no curtains only a net. The bed was two singles pushed together which was creaky and noisy as soon as you just sat on it. We was very disappointed how small and tacky the room was after seeing photos of the nice clean bright rooms on the website. To which we decided to leave as the room was uncomfortable and we had no staff to help us, we booked a last minute travel lodge a mile away which was 5* in comparison. We left emails with photos to the hotel but have not herd from them, not even an apology!

Decent, it's a hotel that you can keep in mind.

Nice Hotel in the heart of London!

The location was the only good thing about this hotel. The shower room was covered in mould, the hair dryer didn't work, the boiler stopped working so the water was freezing and the breakfast was terrible. Poor choice of hot food which was actually lukewarm and the table clothes weren't changed in the 3 days we stayed.

It is a hotel that has a good location in the City of London; It has several metro stations nearby; With the Metro you can go to the vast majority of London's tourist attractions.

Nice clean but small rooms lift very small but what do you expect in central London. Bit pricey at £120 for room.

Would never stay here again nor recommend to anybody. Location is the only positive thing to say and there’s tons more hotels in the area to choose from. Once you get inside the hotel everything goes downhill. We stayed in the “superior double room” and found nothing superior about it. Gloucester Place is a busy road and the windows do not keep out the sound at all. We had a sleepless night with cars and police sirens waking us every 5-10 minutes. The curtains are also incredibly thin silk-like fabric and block no light out in the morning. Our room was also missing a light-bulb from one of the main room lights which made it very dark and difficult for my partner to get ready for our evening out. The man on reception said he would come up and look into it but never did, nor did they ask again despite seeing us twice afterwards. The hotel was overpriced for the quality and I’ve stayed in numerous cheaper hotels around London that put this one to shame. The breakfast in the morning is also quite average.

Very poor quality price, very bad reception, arriving at 11pm they refuse to take the credit cards and accept only the species, arriving no hot water until the next day, very narrow bathroom. I strongly recommend this property for anyone.

We paid £80 per night which is quite cheap in London. The room was ok and clean. It needs some refurb. The bathroom had mould and the toilet seat was really weirdly sticky. Really bad smell was coming out of the bathroom too. Breakfast was good. The hotel is tiny with narrow corridors. Good for one or two nights stay.

Great breakfast, comfortable room, friendly checkin, fantastic location one block from Baker St. And close to 4 tube stations.

They were a good hotel but not for the money asked for. They were immediately off to a bad start when they said their card machine was broken so we had to go to a cash point and carry £300 In cash through the streets and then they didn't have any change and then they told us our room was ready and we got in there and it was disgusting as the sheets hadn't been washed, the bins hadn't been emptied and the bed was a mess and there were towels all over the bathroom floor and marks in the toilet, so we put our stuff in the room and explained what we saw and they said they would put it right so we went out and came back and they had done it. The breakfast was nice but not alot of choice, asked for some fresh fruit and they served it the following morning and it was very nice and great service. The rest of the stay was okay and they cleaned our room and tidied the rest of our stay.

It feels like they have just stopped maintaining their rooms. The shower overflows unless you turn the water almost all the way down. You'll find various colours of mold around the room. (I thought the black mold on the fridge seal was a nice touch). But by far the worst thing was the plastic toilet seat ring. It seems to be in the process of dissolving itself. It is sticky and you can see the butt hair of previous guests embedded in it. I usually have a comparatively high tolerance level for questionable toilets, but this one grossed me out. I would have loved to end on a positive note by staying something nice about the cookies you get next to the water heater. Unfortunately, I found them smashed to fine powder inside their packaging. Don't. Stay. Here.

Hotel right and reasonable price for what is accommodation in London. No frills but clean and adequate.

Correct for sleeping and showering. Excellent location. Good breakfast.

Good value for money. Nice and clean rooms. Of course it is a bit noisy from the traffic (London's a big city with a lot of traffic). Breakfast is great for the price of the room (they have eggs, scrambled eggs, baked beans, sausages, crepes, sandwiches and pizza toasts… So there should be something for everyone). Staff was polite… could be a little bit friendlier. The water pressure in the shower could've been stronger. All in all, good hotel, great location and perfect value for money.

Nice little hotel in very good central Location. The staff were very friendly and the room was very small. The breakfast was very good.

Ok hotel. Want to come back if I do not need good internet. Clean. Small rooms. Bed is a bit soft. Ok breakfast. Internet with very crappy upload speed. Has a clean fridge in the room, Nice! Kettle but bring your own tea. They have Pickwick tea (Dutch household brand). Not my cup of tea and I am Dutch, the only really disappointing thing. Supermarkets nearby if you like me on one day did not want dinner in a restaurant it is an excellent location. Hotel is on walking distance between Marble Arch and Bakerstreet tube station. Near Oxford Street (Shopping). Busses stop in nearby George Street or near Bakerstreet tube station. There is airco in the rooms.

Management at least odd. Breakfast good clean minimal.

It's Ok and cheap but wasn't the best would prefer to pay a little extra to get a lot more. Breakfast was average and a very small selection of hot food. I had a problem with my curtains which meant I had to leave them open all night no one explained I had to climb on the bed to pull the blind down. Staff were very helpful but I think it had the smallest lift I have ever seen almost didn't fit in with a bag.

Nice hotel close to the undergrounds with walking distance to nice restaurants, you need to be early for breakfast though as they don't refill all the plates.

Clean rooms, even if a bit noisy when on the road. Bathroom possibly improbable but compensated by a cozy breakfast.

Free breakfast (edible but disappointing) but no option to have it in your room. Poor layout and decor of rooms. Very poor and partially broken shower. Poor attitude of receptionist. Well situated. Comfy beds and good air conditioning. Suited us well for the price but would not stay again.
