Modest but very lovely retro hotel for an incredible price.

Superb location and comfortable rooms. Had a kettle and a mini fridge. Very clean. The reception was a block away, it was not inconvenient since I knew it in advance.

Good location but very expensive.

The Room was very cold. The heater didnt work and the one provided to replace didnt work either.

It is ok. Very good location. It lacks a little comfort.

Great place to say at for a night or two. Fair price for rooms. Friendly and professional staff.

Bad experience. Dirty, messy, with poor décor. A bedside table made with a broken chair, broken and noisy heating pipes. Bathroom door made with a plywood panel with two screwed hinges, broken tiles and a very bad odor assimilable to the cat pee. Coffee machine not working. Really bad experience. The only value is the location.

Horrible hotel but gave 2 because it's clean and the borrowed front desk peesonnel on 195 Sussex garden was great.

Unorganized hotel, and very hard to locate. I gave 2 stars because the room was clean enough to sleep in.

Cheap yes … But you shouldn't expect too much here.

Nice location and great for a short weekend break however the room is not maintained and there was no hot water in the morning. Was told to wait 10 mins and half an hour later it was still cold. No attempt to resolve the issue, just told that's the way it was as multiple people in the building were using the showers. @ £114 for 2 nights, the missing basics was a real let down. No control for heating in the room. The bed was not too bad but still sub par. Overall, would use for a single night stay if desperate but for the price, I'd rather AirBnB!

Room 26. Old broken window. Very noisy. No hot water. No towel. Cold wet night. No one picks the phone at reception.

Near to Hyde Park, Lancaster underground is near too. If you are healthy you can walk exemple to Madame Tussauds, it's not so long.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Dirty savannahs, wet smell, small room, mornings without hot water.

Very good location Clean. It just lacks a lift. It's not serious. In that area, none of them have.

It is definitely a budget hotel. You have all simple necessities so you can get by.

It's very much a budget hotel. Facilities are basic and the Wi-Fi doesn't cover the upper floors. The room was heated like a sauna when I first arrived. On the other hand, it's clean, in a great location and very reasonably priced.

Good price and clean. What I do not like is that we touched a room in the basement.

Positive point: the only: the proximity of the metro and bus stations.
Negatives: obsolescence of all, carpentry broken damaged, dirty toilets, smell of smoking in the hotel, no TV, random Wi — Fi, no furniture apart from 1 bed double and 2 chairs, no elevator, and the booking can't be cancel, we pay on arrival: ON is condemned to stay.

My wife and I stayed at Andrews House hotel for three nights. The room was clean the bathroom is very nice and spotless. The breakfast is fantastic, the location is perfect, so close to the Tube (underground stations) and bus station is literally a couple of steps a way. Across the street from Hyde park, just beautiful to walk anytime of the day. But with all that is said, you will meet the most wonderful people Eddy and his Mother (the owners of the hotel), we honestly felt we were staying with family at home, they are just great genuine people. We definitely recommend this hotel. Imad and Afaf.

Breakfast was great, bedsheets and towels clean. Bed was comfortable. Close to two tube stations. This is London it's an expensive city, This is not a 5 star hotel? So don't expect the world and you'll be happy you saved a few pounds.

Worst ever experience Did not know hotels like this existed. AVOID this place.

This is the most disgusting hotel, I have ever seen or stayed, looks HUNTED we booked for 4 days but we couldn't stay for 1 day,. it is dirty, smelling, unfriendly environment, unfriendly staffs in fact, all the internet adverts and pictures are all deceptions, the rooms are old and dirty, the bedding and sheets are old, worn and irritable and irritating The internet is not working in upper rooms! ARE YOU THINKING OF STAYING IN THIS HOTEL? PLEASE DO NOT! Please, don't, think of staying here its not worth it. We couldn't even eat the breakfast.

This hotel is the most terrible hotel we have ever seen. Everything is old, broken and mended with tape. Even the window. Dirty and dust everywhere — it´s unbeliveble that a hotel in this condition could exist! The TV (from the 70:ies) did not work, the owner told us the repair man would come the day of our departure.

We spent 6 nights in this hotel very very run down: everything is patched up to the scotch.
very noisy room (she was on the street) the window closed only halfway with the ancient and simple glazing.
positive aspect: it is forbidden to smoke in hotel (we don't mind on the contrary, we are non-smoking)
The problem: ultra thick carpet that retains the smell of tobacco from the manager who is smoking in public areas and whose tobacco odors seep everywhere, it is horrible and assails you right through the door
However we had towels changed daily and the bathroom although common were clean.
Breakfast is largely rich and will and the adorable Manager gets 4 to make you happy.
This hotel is super well placed in the centre of London with a value but we will try also if we return to the English capital.
