Small rooms, beds without sheets, poor predisposition, poor cleanliness living with bugs, tiny bathroom, no elevator. Excellent location.

Small apartment. Very well located. Clean.

The Hotel is centrally located at Lancaster Gate Station. It is a little older and could be renovated again. We had Room 18, an Apartment for four People, this one was on the fourth Floor and there is no Elevator.

The location is very well located near the tube station Lancaster Gate or a few minutes away Paddington Station. The house doesn't have a lift but very narrow and steep staircases. Our room smelled like the sewers, it was disgusting.

Great location, reasonably priced rooms. My room was very basic, clean, good mattress and pillow, toiletries, coffee, tea included, small clean fridge. However, I was very disappointed with the shower room… When you're having a shower, the light in the bathroom goes off after 2-3 minutes or so, leaving you in the dark. You have to open your shower cabin doors, wave your hand for the sensors to detect the movement in the room, then you may continue showering for another few minutes, until the light goes off again. Movement sensors in that bathroom are ridiculous. Other than that, the room met my expectations and matched the pictures seen on the booking website. Stairway, on the other hand, was in a poor decorative condition (Oct 2017), it looked like walls haven't been painted for years. I would stay at the Assaha Hyde Park Apartments again, mainly because of the great location and clean, comfortable bed.

Nice tall cielings, big fridge, poorly maintained, intermittent Wi-Fi.

Room nothing like pictures, dirty, extremely small bathroom No proper curtains, windows dirty, not enough cutlery or plates, in general very poor value for money.

During the hottest day of the year so far we were given only 1 fan for 2 rooms there is no air conditioning, not that it was much of an issue but I would have liked to know that in advance. The bathroom is of a good size and looks to be recently renovated. The sensor however is a bother because it turns the lights off when you are in the shower.

Location just off Hyde Park is fantastic, close to Paddington Station. Staff were friendly. Room had a full size fridge, microwave and kettle. Was clean, not spotless but clean. Would stay there again without a second thought. It was ideal for a short stay in London without spending a fortune on accommodation.

WORST customer service I ever had in my life. As me and my girlfriend enter the hotel, the girl receptionist with the Hijab/Head scarf rolls her eyes as she sees us because she was clearly about to leave. Does not say hello or anything. Took her five seconds to spit out a really sarcastic "how are you? " and even worse the second time as in disbelieve I ask her "I'm sorry? ". The whole process was really slow and every word that came from her was accompanied by frustration and sarcasm. I even asked her if she was about to leave. She said yes, just about now. She clearly did not want to work there. The impression I got from her is she might be the daughter of the owner or someone that works there and her daddy forced her to work there. This is an EMBARRASSMENT for a hotel that sits on such a strategic location at the heart of London. Such show incompetence is disgraceful and the worst hotels and even hostels have much better customer service. I strongly recommend this hotel employs qualified staff. That being said, here are the minor things since I'm in the mood: I enter the room, decent and spacious (I will give them that), but no electricity. After what I already experienced I could not bother going down to reception and talk to her again so I wait 1h.

Clean room, but in the DRC overlooking the road without any soundproofing. We had a sleepless night because of the noise of the cars and the noisy aisles and comings of the staff. Bonus: An employee who enters the room at 50 in the morning to make us understand that it is time to leave, while the check out is at 11 am.

High quality apartment, quite easy to find, nice location, but our room was in the last floor with no elevators.

Assaha apartments were fine for the price. We had the basement room which was very big but pretty run down and we were very warm as not all of the windows open and it's a bit stuffy. The room was clean but scruffy. One issue is that there isn't anywhere to store luggage. We were asked to leave it in the hallway until it was moved for us. This didn't feel very safe as it was right next to the front door. When we checked into our room later there was a mix up and had someone else's bag.

Went here to visit with friends. Place was a bit over-furnished for its size which left the room feeling a bit crowded. The real killer though was the lack of an elevator. Seems picky right up until you are carrying fifty pounds of luggage up four flights of narrow, windy stairs.

My sister stay at the weekend her room was mouldy water leaking in cupboards and wardrobes broken also the carpet was loose up it was dirty and not what was shown on the picture.

Best lebanese food I've ever tasted! Highly recommended.

I chose this restaurant after reading some reviews and I can also recommend Assaha for lovely food and atmosphere. Excellent service. My friend and I had not seen each other for many years and sat there for easily 3 hours, relaxing, eating and chatting. Will definitely be back!

It was OK for the price. Spent a few days there in the summer of 2012. The free Wi-Fi sealed the deal for me but when I got there it didn't work. Staff wasn't helpful fixing it either. The building was beautiful outside but the room was a bit shabby. High ceilings and comfy bed. Room was pretty filthy in some places. Bathroom was pretty awful — very dark and tiny. I could barely turn around in it. The location is great. Around the corner from the Lancaster Gate underground stop. Walking distance from Hyde park. Stay if it's all you can afford. Otherwise I'd keep looking.

Good Lebanese food in a great decor. Service could be a little bit faster…

Home is where the heart is. This place is my home now :) amazing in all ways. Made me feel home. Great service. Definitely will be coming back here.

I must admit our stay was quite short — only couple of hours. We booked 4 nights, but just after we saw the room, we run away scared and found another hotel in order not to ruin entire London experience. Rooms look like they were not refreshed for 50 years, wardrobes are wobbly. Bathroom is made by handyman with no licence, door to the bathroom doesn't close at all. Kitchenette doesn't deserve to be called that — very old electric cooker and microwave (actually microwave was ok). There were few plates, couple of glasses, 3 spoons, 2 knives and only 1 fork (sic! ). The fridge-nette was ok. TV had over 100 channels but all in Arabic — no European channels at all. Windows were not closing and heater was on full — both too repulsive to touch, as were super dirty curtains. Rooms are very loud, mainly due to fact that windows didn't close. It's a pity, cause the building is really beautiful, and if restored inside it would gain a lot of value. Very high cellings in rooms shout about opportunity to build entresol with additional bed on it or other facility, to optimize the space. Location is ok. The most positive fact is that entire amount was reimbursed to us when we left.
