Great breakfast and staff.

Pros: Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Bed is clean. Bathroom is clean. Cons: Need a 10 pound deposit to have a TV remote for their tiny TV. 40 minutes or more to go to the city centre. Very old with a dusty carpet. You have to use the ancient key to lock the door from the inside. For transportation, you either have to use a bus or a taxi, because there are no nearby subway stations. On our last day, the receptionist refused to call a taxi. I dunno why because once, the manager did it for us. We ended up riding a bus even though we were in a tight schedule.

Far in time from the downtown area and many stairs up to the bathroom inside the room. Very good deal on behalf of all and meets the said.

This is hotel is conveniently located. Unfortunately the windows are not well insulated and it is very noisy at night. The rooms are small but clean. There were new towels every day. There was free Wi-Fi and the breakfast was good. However, the water was extremely hot and could not be regulated. Also on request and ask for repair nothing happened and the showering was not possible with this Wasserthemperatur.

Had a great breakfast buffet not too much variety but enough, only speak English but if you put the translator do to talk to you, very good location two kilometres from the center but well connected by buses, many bars and restaurants for Eating in that same street, for all kinds of pockets, we had a great.

It's ok, the hotel provides the basic hotel experience. The rooms were clean and a good size. Breakfast wasn't the best as there was very little choice, however the person cooking was very nice and polite. Wi-Fi was also included, which will please many (although not sure on how secure it was).

Fantastic for the money. A cheapo type place with a reasonable breakfast, comfortable bed and friendly staff.

Decent enough for a cheap overnight stay, a bit far out from the rest of the city so recommend catching the bus — they're very frequent. Plenty of newsagents and smaller restaurants/pubs around the area, Hotel room was clean and tidy, Reception staff were friendly and helpful with any queries. It was a little noisy during the night due to the traffic on the main road outside, but nothing that kept me from a good sleep. Didn't have time to stay for breakfast, but it was £4 with fresh fruit / basic cooked options such as egg on toast on offer at the time of staying. Got exactly what we paid for. :)

Very affordable, nice staff, I actually like knowing that I didn't have to look after my key when I was there.

The hotel is small but rooms ideal for 3 of us to share. The beds comfy slept well. The rooms are well cleaned. The staff are polite and friendly. Its good that the hotel is open 24/7 as my husband in hospital near by. There is a McDonalds and Morrisons, and Poundland near by also.

This is the second time we come back and will probably become a regular hotel. The quality of the price is excellent. A budget hotel with the basics but a comfort that surpasses many other sites. Very well connected, with many buses and areas to buy. Great attention. We'll repeat for sure.

One of the worst hotel I have been to, little cleanliness and obnoxious staff, to avoid despite location and interesting prices.

Simple Hotel. Good for a getaway. A bit out of the center but with good bus communication. Very simple breakfast.

The atmosphere was quite nice with some very nice receptionists. The room was small but it was clean, the bed quite comfortable, there was a small portable fan in the room and an electric kettle with a tray of teas. The street was a bit noisy but it is well located for public transport.

You're not getting anything flash but it's clean and comfortable at a decent price.

According to locals this is the 'ghetto' although there are some really nice restaurants and pubs around. However the hotel is nice, small but comfy rooms with decent showers.

Have to pay for internet, but that's normal in europe.

Night porter is extremely condescending and patronizing, especially towards the women in our group. Lectured a woman in our group as if she was 12. Literally gave a five minute lecture like he would to a child, lacked any professional courtesy and decorum. Treated everyone as if they were unruly children. Does not communicate with any one, staff or otherwise until he is too frustrated to communicate clearly. Implied we were foolish for assuming a hotel could provide additional pillows. Also made it clear that all our requests were a bother to the hotel. I suppose you should never ask for extra towels or pillows in a hotel. Hotel requires you to turn in keys when you leave the room and pay a deposit for the TV remote. Rooms have an unpleasant odor. They only provide one towel per person, no hand towels and they didn't provide more when requested. The rooms are lackluster and unkept and the staff are rude to paying guests. Hotel is dirty, small and we've been experiencing problems since we arrived. Hotel staff is rude and unhelpful.

It is not a three star hotel by any means. It is a step below a youth hostel. The desk clerk did get us into our room early, but we had reserved for four, not three. When our guest arrived, the night manager, Jay Dee, as he called himself, was rude to my son-in-law and our guest, asking which of them was leaving for the night. When I spoke to him about my email and upgrading to a room for four, he complained that the female clerk was inept and he had to take care of it. I paid the difference on spot, although we could not move into the room until the next day. Even so, his continual rudeness only increased. When my daughter and her husband went to the desk to ask for more pillows, he told them rudely he didn't have a key to that maid's closet and that they needed to go to bed. This was not a simple statement, but a diatribe of their rudeness. Let me reinterate, the night manager told adult guests that they needed to go to bed. When I arose early the next morning to speak to him about the matter, he again became immediately hostile. I realized as four people in a room, we were quite noisy. However, a simple phone call would have sufficed. However when he did try to call, the phone would not answer. Again, the phone was not functioning. Accosting my child was not acceptable. When I asked that he speak to me personally about issues as the paying member of the group, he then told me I needed to control my children (everyone in our room was 23 years of age or older.

It's very good for The money you pay.

It's great for the values. It's cheap, the place is clean. I spend two days there, I didn't have any issue. You have lots of buses around to go to central london. Excellent.

It's a cheap hotel in London. If you have no expectations other than that, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The service is a bit sluggish, but polite persistance pays off. Ask for extra pillows: you only get 1/person to start with. Rooms are basic but clean and the beds are firm and springy: pretty comfy. Breakfast is free and good. It's a pretty noisy location and quite far from the nearest tube which is Oval. It has 24hr reception and a receptionist really is always about. There's an Indian restaurant attached called Ambrosia, but I didn't eat there.

What a dump, stay away, I was told the rooms were no smoking I walked into my room and found bedding had fag burns, and toilet smelt of I dont know what.

Very convenient for King's College Hospitall and close to some reasonable restaurants and nice pubs but generally dirty with ugly decor and terrible staff.
