Everything just lovely — room big and really clean, staff super friendly and location just fine with the tube round the corner.

A month ago, I booked a double room for 7nights for my customers through hotelsdotcom. The reservation was not completed due to an error on the hotelsdotcom homepage during the reservation process. So I RE-CHECKED the reservation was not completed, then tried to book it for the same option. A few hours later, I received a message from the hotel that the payment was not made due to a payment card error, and I did not know it was a double booking, so I replied to them to try it… using the same card again. Of course, they sent the messages that the payment was not completed due to the card error to different addresses, so that I gently request to them to cancel one of the reservations that I've never sent the confirmation reply. However, the hotel paid both reservations, except my any permission, just because they had different reservations but the payment card was the same. In the emails from them, they said if I did not reply to them separately, they would hold the reservation for 24 hours.
"Please provide us with alternative payment details. We will hold your booking for 24 hours. " As the hotel said, even though I paid the same card, both reservations are completely differed in name, email, and contact information EVERYTHING. However, they did not accept to refund under the reason of the none-refundable policy.

Nice room, friendly staff and a good location. The hotel appears to have recently been refitted to a good standard. During the evening a member of staff accidentally came into my room, the team were very quick to apologise and offered a free breakfast, a touch you wouldn't get at many other hotels.

Good Hotel with a narrow entrance, the rooms are set up flawlessly and modern. The location is directly above a metro station, of course, optimal. There is enough coffee (and tea) in the room to infuse and not just the usual Ration per Person. Top.

Stayed in the London city hotel for 3 nights. Upon arrival we could check in immediately even though we arrived early. Staff was super friendly, helped us with all our questions and booking of attractions, making our stay even better!
The room was exactly like the pictures on the site said, very big and really clean and tidy! The beds were heaven and really nice to sleep on.
We chose to have breakfast at café Riva, the food was great quality, and here the staff was really friendly as well! Definitely a cafe I'd recommend to people even if they weren't staying at the hotel! :)
The location is great too, very close to some beautiful sightseeing spots, and we were able to go to every attraction we wanted to visit by foot. If you're not that eager to walk though, you have the borough station right next door!
If I had to mention one negative point, it'd be that we didn't have a safe or real closet at the room, but this small point wasn't a dealbreaker at all!
Overall, I really really really enjoyed my stay at the london city hotel, and I would recommend it to friends and family who are looking for a nice affordable place to stay at while in London! :)

LCM do a great work and vital spiritual work.

The complex is located in an area convenient for those who needs not only be a tourist but must move with the train, metro and bus. The hotel is quaint, and the staff is always available at any time. One thing that has left me really puzzled the first time were the stairs very narrow, so if you are going to stay a long time with an extremely bulky item of baggage possibly not pass even the entrance door … For all others I have to say that the rooms I found clean and always well serviced. The bathroom I found small to be in a double room, but is however feasible. The hotel offers the breakfast in the bar just below the hotel, so just walk out the hotel door and in less than half a centimeter, there is already a door to the bar ready to welcome guests for all meals required. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is served is modern english, so nothing strange.

Room was as good as any I've stayed in, clean, tidy and I got a good nights sleep. Easy to get too and staff were spot on. As a Yorkshireman, happy to say this was excellent value for money!

Great business hotel. Rooms are small but clean and functional. If you're in London for business, I'd recommend but not for a romantic or family stay. I'll definitely be going back here for my next business trip.

We had afternoon tea as part of a red letter package. Hostess was very accommodating, cakes and scones were lovely and the resturant was lovely and cool and quite after a hot busy day in London. The restaurant ambience is a basic hotel and I expected a bit more as part of the package I had but overall it was very nice.

Stayed at Novotel City South (6 nights) on my first trip to London. I had researched a lot before booking this hotel. The location is too good for tourist, two tube stations in a walking distance, London bridge station is just 4-5 minutes walk. You can take tube to any tourist place from this station. My hotel experience was very good, their staff is simply awesome, they make you feel comfortable as soon as you reach, very friendly and always happy to help. Check-in time is super quick, took me just 2 minutes. I would specially like to mention Alex and Mickey both helped me a lot. Also the lady managing the restaurant was very courteous and welcoming with a genuine smile on her face all the time. It’s a shame that I forget her name. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to London.

If you like indian food please Try The Taj Restaurant in 10 Carlton Parade Orpington Kent BR6 0JB open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 5.30pm to 11.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

Courtesy and helpfulness. I stayed four nights with daughter who was ill. Available to fulfill my requests. Clean and comfortable and convenient location to walk even in the evening.

I stayed 3 night in this hotel, the service is the best and the bedrooms are OK. I can't speak about the food because for job reasons I didn't eat in London City Hotel, but the other things are very good.

I was with my family in the family room for 3 nights. It was just great. The location was great, the breakfast in the breakfast restaurant below the hotel simply super and the tube station directly doing. Good as it gets for a city trip to London. Only the double bed in the room was rather narrow. But this has also not really bothered. Everything else was just good. Everything was clean, to have 1a and the tip in the evening slightly further away in the Kennington Tandori dinner the service was great.
We will come back.
