This contemporary hotel features rooms that emphasize the main activity one does at a hotel: sleep. The rooms are primarily bed space which allows plenty of room to stretch out at night. The remainder of the room is economically allocated with just enough space for the bathroom/shower and hall between the door and your bed. A TV is on one wall over the bed with more than plenty of media options for entertainment included in the price of your stay. The most innovative part of the room is the universal smart remote (an iPad). It controls the lights, media on the TV, the blinds, wake up call scheduling, and climate control. This remote can even change the color of the light in the shower space. There is an ironing room available on the floor you're staying to get the crinkles out of clothes stored in luggage. A 24/7 cafe/bar space is on the first floor and is more than happy to make you herbal tea when jet lagged at 4 in the morning. Overall, a solid hotel with very contemporary decoration.

Never stayed in this hotel but I visit the bar/lounge regularly. There's a great atmosphere here. You get a lot of people working on their laptops and drinking coffee, other people may be having drinks and socialising but it's spacious and has great interior design. The staff are always very friendly and the drinks/menu is great. I love coming here if I'm working from home and want a change of scenery.

Super Hotel. Super service. Very Modern. Recommend 100%

So much better than expected. The room was clean, the shower was amazing and with the friendly staff, the spacious reception area/bar and courtyard in the middle of the hotel, really hit the nail on the head. The only problem was that through out the day time an alarm from the building across kept going off every couple minutes. Thankfully didn't go off at night.

Had a brilliant stay here. Very modern, great food for all your meals. Great vibe in evenings with music playing to stimulate social interaction. Met some wonderful people too! Rooms are very comfortable and the movie collection is sufficient. Also shower is pretty neat as well as the pad used to control the various functions.

So the rooms are really small… But very nice. Super unique actually. Really nice bar and breakfast, great places to hang out and meet/work with people. Feels modern and hip while still being comfortable.

It was a very nice hotel. Recommended. The rooms managed via Super I-PAD.

I go to this place every other Saturday for a social hosted by my interest club and the lounge of the hotel is the space we use. They have a bar right in the middle with really nice staff. The set up of the lounge is awesome because its like a house with many rooms only there are no doors. It few like you phase through each "room" whilst making conversations and relaxing in that space. You have to go to see what I'm talking about.

It's a really nice place. Interesting decor and nice atmosphere. It is providing something different to what other places offer in the area. Staff was friendly. Sandwich we ordered was tasty, but a little dry. They run out of beer on tap on the night I was there. I will come back and give it another try :)

Great place — visited for a training day and used their meeting spaces. Only downside was that the staff were a little reluctant to give us water from the bar in a jug rather than bottled water… Even when we explained that we had our own refillable bottles.

I can’t say anything about the hotel as I’ve never stayed here but sometimes enjoy visiting the bar/lounge area for a relaxing drink in it’s great atmosphere. Drinks are expensive, but as you’d expect from a hotel lounge. Probably best steer clear of the coffee though.

Citizen M is always great. Best beds in the hotel business. I would have given this a 5 star but doesn't seem as polished as other citizen M hotels I've stayed at.

Amazing hotel. Room is small but fully functional, with TV with movies in different languages, streaming, free snacks in fridge and really clean and comfortable shower. 24/7 bar at ground floor is amazing. Not far from centre.

Rooms are perfect for 1 person, might be a little tight for 2 as only one side of the bed is on the outside. Shower is amazing and they have recent films on the tv. The entire room is controlled by the supplied iPad and it's quite a funky experience. You get to pick your room when you check in (floor and view) however I went for a city view and all I could see was another building covered in scaffolding but it didn't spoil the experience. I'll go for the court yard view if I go back (court yard view attached). Restaurant/bar is good and the seating areas are very comfy and stylish.

This hotel is really excellent, the staff was lovely, plus the hotel is ideally located, very close to the borough market for foodies. The stay at the CitizenM was very pleasant.

Quirky, arty and cool. This hotel is full of great design features from the corridors to the lounge area. The bar is a great space to relax with a drink. The rooms are full of tech. It has lights, blinds, AC and media you control with the rooms iPad, and the bed is very comfortable.

Great hotel in central London. Simple but well organized. The rooms are small but with every comfort: from the unlimited use of the fridge to the movies in vision. The all inclusive in the price really good view of the location. To go back.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet room with good bed and shower. The free stuff in the minibar such as chocolate, peanuts and water was very welcome. Also a free drink at the bar which included most things on the menu. Pleasant atmosphere in the bar area at night and good quality produce for breakfast. Will happily return here next time in London.

For a couple stay, the room is at a point! The breakfast is great. The location is great! Really a must-have London! The décor and ambience are full of malice… Really I recommend.

Stayed for 1 night only but the hotel was great. Room was spotless and the bed was big and comfy. Loved the public spaces which were quirky and had lots of comfortable seating. The staff were extremely helpful so I'd definitely recommend to family and friends.

Really lovely hotel, rooms are small but compact, breakfast was really nice, great selection. Had a couple of cheeky cocktails as well which were top drawer! The only thing wrong was the lift being out of service all weekend, and as the cleaners use the lift as well it meant having to wait ages for a lift (or just giving up and using the stairs). Maybe they should have had a service lift installed. But hey ho, all in all a brilliant weekend, fantastic staff and amazing hotel. I'm sure we will be back again soon.

Stayed at CitizenM for our first Wedding Anniversary and absolutely loved it. Concept wise it was very similar to places with stayed in Amsterdam. Very chilled out vibe and the bar was awesome. Self check in was easy and there was someone to help us out. Our room was filled with balloons, a cake and a congratulations note with a voucher for two free drinks. The bed was lovely and massive. The selection of movies was great and the blackout blinds really made a difference. All in all we would stay here again. In fact it may be the only place we stay in London from now on!

Delightfully different. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Rooms are small, but the common lounge provides plenty of space for sitting/eating/coffee. Some standard hotel features are missing: tea& coffee in the room and the ability to get out of bed without climbing over your wife!

Friendly staff. Didn't like the software service check in desk. Would have preferred to be checked in by a receptionist. Didn't feel the reception area was very welcoming due to the big self check in computer screens. Hotel was nice, modern and our room was l lovely with a great view. Had everything we need for a nights stay. Loved the iPad that controlled all the lights and other features to the room. You couldn't open the window though and the air con didn't go very cold which wasn't great.

It is a clean and comfortable hotel xa a couple of days. The rooms are small but if you are not going to be there more than stop sleep perfect.

I loved the place! Different and Elegre. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the service was excellent. Very well served breakfast. I loved having the FRIGOBSR free.

Hotel without frustrations, no hidden charges, Wi-Fi, movies, TV and minibar free, clean and modern. A single room type, without getting complicated. Yes, it's not a conventional hotel at all.

HOTELAZO, with all the letters, in capital letters and, if I could, I would put emojis of fireworks around. I had never been in a place where the famous, but non-existent in daily life, Domotics was the real protagonist of the place, leaving you with your mouth open with every action to perform in the room.
The first thing that stands out when you arrive at this hotel is the decoration of the entrance hall and the absence of a traditional reception and the use. There is a receptionist (usually Spanish) and a number of computers where you can check-in and manage your entrance to the hotel in a totally independent way. If you need help, the boys help you nicely.
After discovering how the elevator works, that does not move if you do not pass the key of your door through the sensor, you go up to your room and there begins the show. It is a cubicle that reminds the Japanese Love Hotels but without those claims. All distributed in a single space with the only separation of the toilet and the shower, obviously, not to splash the rest. Even the sink and mirror are integrated into the room.
The bed is a square enormity attached to the bottom window and that measures more than two meters: you can lie down diagonally and you still have plenty of bed everywhere. That's great. It has a custom Samsung tablet by the hotel where you control the entire room.

Four times in London, four times at citizenM! The rooms are nice, just what you need to have a pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Just a little bit disappointed that there is no kettle and tea in the room.

The lounge area is great for working (very fast internet connection) or relaxing. Cafe staff are very nice and helpful. Lounge is usually open every day until 11.30pm.

Hotel is great. Free Wi-Fi. Desk space to work. Great food and drinks when needed. Used as a day space to get work done and found it much better than other work spaces.

Have stayed at CitizenM previously and really loved the place, room control done via an ipad and different modes, lots of films etc! Last visit wasn't so great due to the ipad failing so no way to control certain aspects of the room.

This is a lovely venue, rooms are so well appointed and very funky too; everything is controlled by an iPad but is so easy to do. The bar serves an array of different types of gin, vodka etc as well as cocktails. Overall I would recommend this hotel to every one; stylish, modern and contemporary design.

Gone are stuffy hotel lobbys and breakfast areas. Citizen M are on pointe with their decor and making use of the limited space. Staff are also keen to assist whether its checking in early or tourist guide. As novelty, they also have games out (eg tricial pursuit, cards against humanityetc) to encourage people to play with family or friends. Good work Citizen M.

The hotel is really well situated for a city break with close connections for underground services. A short walk and you're alongside The Thames. Checking in was fast & not the usual fiasco of standing around while the receptionist taps away at a keyboard for half an hour! The room initially seemed shockingly small, but the use of the space was fantastic. It felt like we had been transported to Japan! The whole room is controlled by a tablet, from changing the light colours in the shower cubicle to the room heating & TV options — we could've spent all our time in the room playing with this! Breakfast was superb, one of the best buffet style hotel breakfasts we've had! Staff were all really helpful & polite. The only downside would be parking, we left the car in a private car park (recommended by the hotel) where it seemed the owner just made up the prices?! £38 for a 24hr period seemed a little steep to me.

Was guided upstairs via a spiral staircase to equally unique designed conference /meeting rooms all quirky in their own way. For example my room had old typewriters and analogue phones nailed to the wall. The snacks offered during the meeting were delicious. Huge soft rooms with giant fillings and cold salads that I have never seen before. A variety of cold bottled juices and water as well as hot beverages. Just a unique experience that I will remember for a long time. Well done Citizen M hotel.

Loved staying here. I wish my room at home was this cool. Everything controlled by iPad in a really innovative and well designed way. Loved it and would defo stay again.

Amazing hotel. Checking in and out took about a minute as they have self check in desks but staff on hand if you do have questions. Mood lighting in the rooms was fantastic. Everything from the curtains to the temperature could be controlled with an iPad. I would recommend this hotel.

Once of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for a while. Really great for a stop over in London. The rooms are small but with massive beds. The fittings are top notch and being able to control the lights, blinds TV and radio from the tablet provided was awesome. I didn't get much time to see the communal areas and I had to checkout before breakfast but from a glance they looked nice. The only bad point was my inability to find out how to turn the bathroom light on without all the others coming on too.

I attended the citizenM hotel to use one of the conference rooms as part of a day-long workshop. The size of our group was approx. 20 people. I was really impressed with the conference rooms and the conmunal spaces at the hotel; modern, clean, stylish with excellent facilities. There was an outdoor space next to our conference room which was ideal to get some fresh air during breaks. The refreshments provided were of a high standard; pastries with jam/ marmalade upon arrival, muffins and cookies throughout the day. The lunch was a selection of high quality sandwiches, salads, crisps and fruit. The waiter told me thay all of the ingredients were from an Italian supplier. I can't recall the name but they tasted great! I don't drink coffee so it did not bother me but the coffee machine in the conference room was broken. Despite being reported, no-one came to fix it. There were some tired and angry coffee-drinkers in our group by mid-afternoon.

Really nice and different. Never normally "like" hotels on Facebook but the fact I have done so here says a lot. Really modern approach. It's as if they have started with a blank sheet of paper and thought what to people want when they stay away. The rooms are small & functional but the lounge area draws you in and discourages you from spending time in your room apart from the essentials of washing & sleeping!

This was our second time at M. The lobby/lounge area is an awesome place to hang out and work like we usually do. The staff is young, energetic and friendly. The rooms are a bit bland but very neat and tidy, and probably the best you can get in the price range in the city. The food is top notch but a little over priced. Will definitely visit again.

Very nice design hotel. Great atmosphere, very Royal joyful staff and great light-show and other gadgets on the iPad in the hotel room. Price-performance is perfect. Every time again!

Stylish, artsy and good value. The hotel is very unique with an open plan ground floor, bar area and seating. Rooms are basic but comfortable. There's an ensuite 'pod' with a toilet and a shower. There's free Wi-Fi and a good selection of movies and TV channels. Everything is controlled by a tablet: mood lights, alarms, TV curtains, etc. The tablet works, I guess, but it feels a but unresponsive and gimmicky. Maybe in a few years with a few revisions this is how all our hotels will work. Breakfast isn't included but we got a voucher for two free drinks for booking online and paying in advance, which was nice. The bar is good, with a decent selection of drinks and cocktails. The hotel is super convenient for the southbank/bankside area. Its a few minutes walk from the Tate modern and the globe. If you're looking to explore north of the river, the nearest tube station is Southwark. Alternatively you can get the RV1 bus which goes to Covent Garden in one direction and Tower Bridge in the other and stops right outside the hotel.

Great place to live. Cozy room and every thing was close. No room service though. Separate rooms for ironing on each floor. Good use of red and black color. Big comfy bed and the best part is everything is controlled by a tablet even the lamps.

Fantastic hotel. Outstanding staff, room, lounge areas, bar, breakfast, use of technology to enhance the booking experience, configuring room to suit one's mood, control lighting, air-conditioning, etc. I just loved the laid back, but strongly customer-centred focus of staff and design of the hotel. Very clean and breakfast great. Location really useful for stations and particularly for theatres etc.

Wow. Such a quirky hotel. Friendly, fun, the room sizes are small however you'd not think so as they fit so much in and such good tekkie things with high ceilings. You don't notice the size. All controls are via a tablet. Great music, movies or TV. All free. Complimentary water in fridges and ll that you need in the rooms. Curtain and blinds were amazing. Remote control and boy do they block out the light. And considering its location you cant hear a damn thing from outside. The beds are humongous and so comfy. Good nights sleep. Ahh! ! Great brekkie. £12.50p per person however it was 1st class and you could just help yourself to anything else. Staff were full of energy, so happy, polite and explained all that there was on offer. Good bar once we returned from our night out and nothing was too much trouble. The "Citizen M" branding is everywhere and so quirky. Makes you smile each time you turn a corner or enter another area. Great. Really good price too. I'd definitely recommend this place as opposed to a Premier Inn at the end of the same road that charges the same price for a bland room and customer services. Check this cool place out. Great for all ages x.

I didn't stay at the hotel but we used a room for a training session. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you're in the London Bridge area looking for a nice place to host a meeting or just use some Wi-Fi to get some work done, this is perfect. Good coffee, nice vibe.

A great hotel for anyone who loves modern hotels and technology. The rooms are clean, the hotel is clean and everything functions like clockwork. Each room is a pod, where you can control everything from the blinds, coloured lights to the TV. The reason it doesnt quite get 5 stars is because the Samsung tablets that control your room can become slow and infuriating at times, and the nearest tube stations are 10 minutes walk away. OK in the day, but the walks aren't the best at night — some dodgy people inbetween.

Me and my Girlfriend came here for our 4 years together, and as soon as we saw it from the outside, we new it was going to be amazing. As soon as we entered, the staff were extremely welcoming and very friendly. The place looked amazing, and had really cool stuff dotted around, with a really nice bar, comfy seats, a fire and generally had a really home-like feel. we got to the hotel around 12, but the check-in wasn't until 2, which wasn't a problem as the staff said we could leave our bags in the clockroom, and gave us some pointers of what we could do, you could even stay in the hotel ground floor and not be bored to be honest. we came back at 1, and were able to check in then, so we went up stairs (which had a really cool staircase) then took the lift the rest of the stay. When we got to our room, we were surprised, because the photos looked the it was a lot smaller, but the bed was HUGE (I'm 6ft1 and I could spread all my limbs out and still have loads of room) the TV was placed on the wall, so you could turn the pillows and it was like you were sitting in an extremely comfortable sofa. There were loads of free movies, and channels, also free Wi-Fi. The shower was incredible, and you could use the rain shower, or the normal power shower, but both were extremely refreshing.

Loved it from the first time. Very geeks orientated, very different from an ordinary hotel. Loved the smart room settings and the organic breakfast. Not giving it 5 stars just because of a little misunderstanding I had with the staff in the Paris branch.

Lovely, fresh concept. Affordable, fashionable and fun. The rooms are very small but well appointed. The room is the width of the terrific king sized bed and you sleep like in a beautiful appointed contemporary camper van. Everything is thought through and well done with a sense of humor. No wonder it made such a splash when it opened. The simple food are as a part of the lobby was great for breakfast. We will stay at the Citizen M's again in our travels.

I absolutely love the design of this place. The furniture is colourful and quirky, the staircase is magical and there is a very warm vibe from the surrounding nick nacks and friendly staff. I would advise anyone to pop by even if it is just for a coffee or a bite to eat. Such a fun place.

CitizenM is a chic, luxury, trendy hotel, as well as a instagramers paradise. The lobby is chocked full of interesting and designed objects of fascination. This makes the hotel unique in it's style and approach in London. The rooms follow suite with the lobby with the ability to change the colour of the lights using a supplied tablet. This place is place to come for non-travellers just to have an awesome slice of cake (my favourite is the Red Velvet, I wish they would bring back the scones) and coffee. There are tables to work on as a workspace, free Wi-Fi, and comfy throwback sofas area for something more relaxing.

Service very good, they speak in Spanish. Very avant-garde and cosy.

I was 8 days at Easter and it was great, very good location, clean, soundproof rooms, lighting of the rooms very modern, Queen bed and comfortable, internet fast, on-demand movies, the entire room is controlled from a tablet, which is very comfortable, there is always a friendly atmosphere in the bar and make very good cocktails, free computers mac with printer service, and very friendly staff. As it criticizes constructively, that does include breakfast and try that bath had more than privacy.

In a great location, when you enter the Hotel and notice immediately that this Hotel is a little different. Welcoming, brightly decorated Lobby with a Bar, interesting people and nice staff a like to the Computer based Check-Inn to help. The rooms are accessible via a Lift or the neat Holzwendeltreppe accessible. All rooms are equipped with a Tablet equipped with lighting, air-conditioning, lighting and even the TV can control — unfortunately, not 100% without flaws. The free movies can a but the little quirks are quickly forgotten. The room is appropriately furnished, nice mood lighting, simple toilet with rain shower, Safe, Desk, mini bar — everything a Hotel needs. The real Highlight for me was the King-Size bed with Kingsizedecke and pillows! We have slept wonderfully! At the next visit to London I will certainly be back there to spend the night. Maybe by then the outlet will be repaired which, unfortunately, somewhat loose connection had. Overall one of the best Hotels that I've ever seen.

It is a beautiful hotel! The entry you already impacts from the first moment in which you put your feet in your fabulous carpet! It is ideal for people interested in the design.

A refreshingly different Hotel — great Design, fantastic location for a city break, very good Breakfast and a relaxed, cool vibe in the Lobby and all common areas. Free movies in the rooms, and fun light effects are controlled by a Samsung Tablet, are another Highlight. A little getting used to at first was that you in the small rooms, no Windows open and the air conditioning is therefore 24. To improve the Housekeeping (dust and hair in the room, one towel for two people, the second was only after three attempts, brought to the cleaners knocking at 08:30 regular at the room — it's annoying, and doesn't have to be! ). For more ideas to get his clothes in the room to accommodate that would be great (for example, shelves and more coat hooks on the wall). The Hotel makes all in all, fun and is definitely worth a visit.
