Clean and modern hotel. In great location. Friendly and professional staff. Really a great choice if you decide to sleep in London. Super recommended!

Food: above average. The Salmon starter is amazing. Price: we paid 100 for 5 people 3 course meal : using a tastecard Staff: polite and nice but not automatic. You have to ask malt vinegar with fish and chips, steak knife with steak, ice with drinks, etc.

My wife found this place and it was a gem! Just down the street from Lambeth Palace, walking distance to Big Ben, Parliament, and a ton of other cool stuff. Great location. We loved the hotel itself — very nice rooms and great ambience. The complimentary breakfast was excellent — full breakfast with a lot of options. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We would absolutely go here again.

Nothing to say, hotel welcoming, spacious, clean. The staff of the dining room remains available and enjoyable. The big downside, the staff did not speak French except a hostess that we saw at the end to make the badge of the door. Too bad it is difficult to communicate if you speak the language. It is still a very nice hotel close to the buses to be able to go for a stroll in London.

Went in for drink at New year Eve. The bar was quite crowded. I waited patiently for nearly 40 minutes to get served. I can understand that for the long wait when it was busy. However several people ditched the queue and the waiters did not say nothing or take any action, instead people who ditch the line got served faster. I mentioned about that to staff at bar, but they just ignored. Quite frustrating experience.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Very professional and friendly staff, clean room and a great location 10 min walk from Big Ben! Would I stay here again? Unfortunately not. Maybe it is a nice feature with the see through mirror wall, straight into the room, in the shower if you are younger and fitter than me and traveling with your mistress. When you, like me, are traveling with your daughter and her friend it is not as nice! On the other hand, the toilet with a mirror door which does not close tight is not nice, regardless if your staying with your mistress or kids. Call me conservative, I like the old fashion bathroom with proper doors and a mirror above the sink. It is a nice hotel and a will give it 4 out of 5 due to the fact that there are fitter people than me traveling with only there love ones and for them Novotel and it's modern room with revealing shower could be perfect! Unless they have a bad stomach. Finally, USB-ports in the walls are priceless!

Hotel prices are relatively low, walk to Big Ben about 20 minutes, the road scenery is good, you can see the London Eye, Westminster Abbey and so on. Hotel is relatively clean.

Great location 2 steps from Big Ben and London's main attractions. It was a very good breakfast. Bus and metro station very close to more demanding trips. Recommended.

Very nice quiet hotel not far from Big Ben and London Eye!

The location is excellent as a starting point for sightseeing. The rooms with a city view go directly to the street and are therefore very noisy. The Windows should be better insulated.
In the bathroom there are practically no hooks and you don't quite know where to go with the used towels. No one can want a daily change. There is also no toilet brush.
Storage options are scarce, especially there are no drawers.
Overall, the room is therefore very modern, but unfortunately also somewhat impractical.
The staff is very friendly and the hotel overall very child friendly.
The breakfast is OK. English scrambled eggs are in need of getting used to and obviously you can't expect buns in England. Otherwise, the selection was good.

Upon check-in we were issued with our room key. When we unlocked the door, the room was already occupied by somebody else! We then went back down to reception and were issued door keys that didn't work so finally after our third visit to the reception desk we were actually able to get into our room. We had breakfast the next morning at 9.30am. There seemed to be a shortage of food which hadn't been replenished as it had been used. I had to ask for a cereal bowl as there wasn't any available. Neither was there cold plates. I wasn't offered tea or coffee when we were seated. There wasn't any green tea available and had to wait whilst one of the staff went to get some. The selection of food was also disappointing and definitely not value for money at nearly £20 per head!

We chose a hotel Accord for the reliability we have gained on other occasions. The staff were professional and stand. The facilities in perfect condition and the location fantastic. We want to make special mention of the staff who attended us. Their professionalism and kindness made us feel at home. Thank you.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of September 2017 in four (2 adults and 2 boys). As in other cities, we have rediscovered the quality of the Novotel hotels. Only small drawback the lack of bidets (sadly common outside of Italy). Good breakfast but in other Novotel Avbbiamo found some better raw materials (yogurt and milk in particular).

Definitely positive experience. Very friendly and helpful staff Good breakfast. Also suitable for children: Our daughter loved the touch screen coffee table at the entrance and the gift that was offered on arrival.

The hotel is located right in the city centre on the River Thames. The staff is very friendly and thoughtful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Highly recommended!

My experience was very positive. Location Great Room Possibility to dine in a positive hotel. Discreet menu Maybe I would add a kids menu. I recommend it.

It is a very nice hotel is well located, the breakfast buffet even though it is somewhat low compared to the Spanish if it is a buffet that is well attended and you can take a good English breakfast or american. The rooms are clean and comfortable and I recommend to ask room from the room, as the views will be more enjoyable although I was on the second floor and the view is also very nice. There is a bus stop next to the Hotel and has also a stop of the bus tour also very close. At the reception are super friendly and speak Spanish.

Convenient location to visit London, although the rooms are not cleaned with vacuums on the carpet (my asthmatic husband must use the inhaler cortisone several times when he is in the room) and rag in the bathroom. The window does not close. The toilet loses water, but they fixed it. Yesterday they didn't put the toilet paper back on, and this morning we're not! They don't always put packets of soluble coffee, sugar and milk in the fridge. Next time I'il buy it!

Centrally located at walking distance to Main tourist attractions, staff was helpful and attentive at all times from checkin to checkout. Included breakfast was very good with many options. In room cleaning could improve but was not bad. Would have been nice that the extra bed was set for 2 before checking in as we mentioned we were a family of 4. But quickly helped us when we asked. Overall a great stay.

My family and I stayed 7 nights in this hotel and it was enjoyable stay. Check in and check out were smooth and staff were welcoming. Rooms are new and bed is very comfortable as well as the convertible sofa bed. The breakfast has good variety and restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is 10 minutes’ walk to London Eye. There is bus stop just near the hotel and underground station (Lambeth North) is 12 minutes’ walk. I will consider staying in this hotel whenever in London again.

Really good stay at Novotel Waterloo. There were problems with our room when we first arrived — no rooms ready despite us having checked in online and arriving much later than we said we would. After some confusion (this is why I've taken a point off the rating! ) they upgraded us to an Executive Room which was absolutely lovely. Breakfasts were lovely, ate in the restaurant which was brilliant. All the staff were so nice — nothing was too much trouble. This was our 3rd stay and we will be back!

Big and nice room but with new painted and there was a strong paint smell in the room, not so healthy for the kids to sleep, we opened the windows but although it was a little better it was not enough. Very helpful people in reception and breakfast. Perfect location. Nice breakfast. Room although cleaned everyday was not properly hoovered, the mattress cover was not big enough for the big bed… Probably they have to do rooms in a record time but really this is something to improve as we were in some other hotels in England during our stay (similar in price or less expensive) and the comparison was that the rate for Novotel here was the worst.

Had a pleasant stay here. Very friendly staff. We arrived early at 10:00PM well ahead of scheduled check in at 14:00 hrs. They accomodated me at 12:00. The rooms were very cosy and we had good sleep. Only a 10 min walk from Lambeth North tube station and well conencted by buses. Will definitely come back.

Slightly chilly welcome in reception, but apparently all large hotels are this way! The food is excellent and the meeting rooms comfortable. We were well-provided with coffee and biscuits. The projector didn't work very well, though.

Pernottato presso la struttura per una settimana per viaggio di lavoro. Ottima l'accoglienza del personale (internazionale) alla reception. Le stanze sono ampie con arredamento moderno ed hanno tutto quello che può servire anche per lunghe permanenze. Non male nemmeno bar e ristorante anche se I prezzi sono un po' altini. Avrei qualche appunto solo per quanto riguarda la colazione. Il buffet è vario e si trova un po di tutto ma pagare 16, 45£ mi pare un po' esagerato. Nel complesso è stata una buona esperienza.

The hotel is quite far away from Waterloo station; the service is very bad; it took me 40' to check-in. The people at the reception didn't undertsand English properly. I wanted to have dinner at 9:30pm and I was told that I should consider to use the room service menu (the restaurant was officially closing at 10pm). So really no…

Recently attended a funeral wake at the hotel where a buffet lunch was provided. The food was great. Staff always on hand to help. Staff were friendly and respectful. Great Central location and easy to get to. Nice modern although I do miss the pool table. The chairs in the bar area are a little strange…

Its a quite hotel on the south side of london next to the parliament and a 10min was from the London eye. Rooms were good and clean but some of the towels we had was stained. Tasty breakfast. There isnt a grocery/ convient store close by (closest 20min walk)

Great location to the London Eye. Family of 4, stayed 3 nights. Only used the hotel for sleeping and showering, but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We had breakfast down the road at the Corner Cafe, which is fantastic.

I stayed here with my fiancée for the first time in November 2015. We were really impressed! We had recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza and Waldorf Hilton, and while the rooms are a little smaller, this Novotel certainly holds up well against the luxury brands. The staff were fantastic (very friendly and helpful). The lobby was really nice (with some TVs and and Xbox). The bar and restaurant looked very modern and welcoming, although admittedly our busy agenda didn't leave us any time to visit them. The room was great. Not huge, but not tiny either. The bed was very comfortable and well sized. The desk had an extendable, caster-mounted side piece which could be pulled around for some more space. The mini-bar was stocked with some complementary water on arrival, and the wardrobe had an amply sized safe. The TV was large and mounted on a swing arm so it could be watched comfortably from both the bed and the desk/seating area. Also, unlike the other hotels we visited this year, the TV made it really easy to connect your own equipment (in our case, a laptop via HDMI in order to watch some NFL games via Game Pass). The TV came with the standard remote control — not a limited hotel version which would prevent you from switching to HDMI. One of the more novel features of the room was the included bluetooth speaker. I've only ever stayed at one other hotel with anything like this. The little speaker unit comes with instructions for pairing your phone and a note than 3.

Very nice hotel. Staff very nice and very accommodating (room available at 10: 00 in the morning for the check-in). Only minor negatives: no good plans offered with the schedules of the next generation for example. Breakfast very expensive (16 lbs / person). Address to keep!

Very comfortable (not soft) bed! Big (and completely quiet! ) room, everything clean, modern bathroom, comfortable sofa, enough storage!, nice staff, good location… A ten minute walk to the nearest Tube station and to the nearest supermarket (that I could find). The only thing that could be improved is the decor… almost completely grey, so a bit grim.

There is no reason why this hotel wouldn't work for a lot of travelers. When I stayed here, the room was immaculately clean and the location is very convenient for the price (walking distance to many attractions). A short walk across across the Thames over the Lambeth Bridge brings you to restaurants that are less expensive thsn the hotel restaurant Elements. Also across the bridge is a laundrette (13 Regency Place just off Horseferry Road) when the cost to do laundry, while high by American standards (£6 to wash a large load, 50p per 6 minutes to dry) was way cheaper than having the laundry done through the hotel. The hotel, while applying some design aspects that might work well in theory, fell flat in practical application; i. E. One must dismount from a tub whose bottom is almost a foot higher than the floor and the poorly engineered toilet-flushing mechanism. There is also a learning curve to operate the shower/tub spigots (the tub filler lever, which is on the tub and you lift to turn on, is separate from the shower knob; the left of which turns on the water and the right side controlling the temperature). The hotel doesn't provide washcloths at all. The hotel restaurant, bar and play area is also smaller than than the pictures on the website would lead one to believe.

I had to stay overnight for work, and this hotel was really great. Travelling on my own, I felt very safe. The staff were immediately friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. My room was very comfortable and clean, and had lovely views of Southwark Cathedral, the London Eye, and Big Ben. The atmosphere in the bar was very relaxing, and was very nicely designed. I did not try the menu because I had made other plans, but the menu looked very good. As an added bonus, they offer hot yoga on Tuesday nights. I think it is fantastic that the hotel offers a class like this. It would have been lovely to relax after work like that, and I shall certainly bear it in mind if I am allocated this hotel again. Furthermore, I would definitely consider staying here again for pleasure, rather than work.

Decent business hotel which is well located with pleasant businesslike staff. The rooms are clean and neat with all the essentials. The are dog friendly which is wonderful and our little one was unofficially hanging around everywhere from the lobby to the cafe area.

Great place to stop off with the kids in London, and there's parking too.

We just had to stay here. It is so close to the West End that we could walk across the bridge to the clubs and restaurants.

It is one of the two hotels where we stayed in London. I will say that it is practical, comfortable but without charm. So the price is a bit too expensive but we were in the high season and it's London.

The Hotel Novotel London Waterloo is what I call fine dining. They serve excellent london food. The decor is very nice and makes me feel as though I've stepped back into an earlier time when life was not so rushed. I've been there twice and was completely satisfied both times. The wait staff is quite attentive. The meal is prepared with care. The prices are a bit high but justified. If you want a special meal and nice hotel spot this is definitely the place to go.
