The bistro is extremelly nice. Variety of drinks. Wonderful service.

Friendly staff, great cocktails especially in happy hour, great location and lovely clean room. Great decor throughout. No bar noise heard from our room (21). Food was good and was served quickly even though it was a Friday night. Breakfast is a standard self service continental. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely boutique hotel in Ladbroke grove. Stones throw from Portobello market and Notting hill. Superb bar area. Bar food was good as were the cocktails. Room 21 was lovely with a huge four poster bed. Bathroom was small with just a shower but perfectly adequate. Be aware no lifts at this hotel.

A nice bar, only the music is sometimes annoying and too noisy.

Very very good. The bar/restaurant, and the hotel. Friendly staff, great pub. Excellent breakfast. Excellent service. Excellent location. Flexible check in. Could not fault it.

We stayed here for two nights in February 2018. Rooms are clean and well-furnished, with touches of both chic and class. No lift but there's always someone around to help lug suitcases if needed. And you can't beat the location, just steps from Portobello market.

A very nice place to stay in Notting Hill. Very quiet — the restaurant/bar down stairs wasn't noisy at all from our room. Good, friendly staff. Breakfast wasn't too exciting, but other than that, very happy with our choice to stay here.

Nice pub and hotel. Cozy atmosphere. We have been there to drink something after work, so I can't say anything about the hotel but it looks nice.

Did not use the hotel services, only came in for lunch with my family. The quality of the food is satisfactory, though the prices are too high for my liking.

Fairly nice bar. Nothing special but good for a drink if you're in the area.

Drinks selection good wine and beera especially happy hour cocktails.

Provided decent food for a pub. Drinks took some time but they also have pretty nice sofas.

Carlo and Frankie are two great hosts and the entire staff at Portobello House is incredibly friendly and alway making sure you are all right and well served (and with a smile… extra point +). Small improvements could be done to the rooms but I love hotels that have a B&B style, the bistro and bar that becomes breakfast buffet in the morning. Can't comment on the food as I did not eat there. Good taste in furniture too.

I have never come across such a pleasant team at a London establishment… ever! The team there is so pleasant, so polite and so helpful I can do nothing but sing the hotel's praises. Lorenzo in particular deserves a special mention — our whole party commented on what a wonderful host he was. The rooms (we had a superior club room) was spacious, clean and sound proof (important when staying in London! ). Can't do better for location either — very close walking distance to Portobello Market (10-15 mins), Ladbroke Road tube station is around the corner, all the while positioned in a quieter section of NHG — ideal!

Lovely venue with a relaxed and chilled out atmosphere serving the best cocktails in the area. Service is always great.

Think is is one of the hidden gems in the area — amazing cocktails (especially Aperol Spritz) and excellent wine selection plus delicious Sunday roasts (lamb is the winner). Friendly staff and reasonably priced — would definitely recommend.

Fantastic local with great outdoor space which is not just for smokers. It is close to the station, food is good and drinks are reasonably priced. This will always be my favourite local.

Unbelievable my x wife went to have a drink and dinner. ordered a pint of san miguel 2 tapas for starters she went out to smoke a cigarette to come back to a waitress asking her to pay she did not even eat or order her main the driver mr evo was to join her for drinks as you do she just discocered 2 lumps in the back of her neck. her uncle was with her a month ago with evan so the waitress knew her. Poor gg lost her appetite was in shock to how she was treated… the waitress gave the explination its a new policy… I have never seen or heard of this kind of service in the uk. You have to pay before u even touch your food or drink your beer never mind not even ordering ur main course… she had the nerves to tell her u did not eat your appetiser yet. Once she saw how upset my x wife got she tried to apologise. But by this time my wife had a nervous breakdown and all she wanted is to get out of there she was never humaliated so much in her 44 years. God bless her she just lost her mother to cancer July 2015 and her uncle march 2015 and her x husband at the age of 47 in december 2015 also to cancer her best friend 12 December 2015. i really hope she will be ok. She is ill as well. what kind of business is this. My poor x wifey got up left all the food and drink and ended up crying in the car when evo picked her up. unbelievable.

Excellent cocktails, good food. However, service is quite slow and we had a few mix ups with drink orders.

Great clean hotel. Small but nice rooms. Great free breakfast.

Service is good, decor needs a face lift, and prices whilst still high are more reasonable than other pubs in area.
