I booked a night for my Wife and I as a Wedding Anniversary surprise at one of the more expensive apartments within the Draycott building. I received internet confirmation of my booking as soon as I completed the on-line details. We spent £50 traveling to London and on arrival nobody met us. After 10 minutes waiting outside and making calls to the office that went straight to answerphone a guest came out of the building and we got inside. I found a cleaner who spoke very little English but who did actually help us call the office using her internal phone which was, surprise surprise, answered immediately. I was told that my booking had been canceled due to a problem with my credit card. I had received no such confirmation but was then forwarded the cancellation email whilst I stood in their building. Nobody called me on the mobile number that I provided to inform me that my booking had been canceled. I spent 10 minutes on the phone with their office being told that it was my fault that I had no accommodation because I had been sent a cancellation email (which was never received). On top of this I was told that it was my responsibility to phone them to make sure I had a reservation even though I had received details of my booking. We were then left with no accommodation on our Wedding Anniversary, no help in arranging alternative accommodation and 3 large bags to carry around London the whole day trying to salvage what we could of our visit. an absolute disgrace — do not trust these people with your custom.
