Amazing hotel! Would highly recommend staying there. Breakfast and dinner are beyond expectation (try the Eton Mess! ) Room was spotless and staff very helpful and profesionnal. Will definitely return.

Had a really enjoyable stay. I enjoyed the decor in the hotel and the bedroom. Everything was clean and in pretty good condition. The room was compact but well appointed, interesting lighting, nice view out of the window, air conditioned. The double glazing kept street noise out well, and shutters kept the light out. There was a good selection of things for breakfast and it all looked and tasted fresh. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Spent the morning in the bar area with a colleague, catching up on some work and made a welcome change from the more pretentious and/or incredibly noisy coffee shops in the area. Lovely pastries and good coffee, plus quiet and peaceful. Will definitely consider it again.

Charming, modern hotel, very comfy bed, great decor, nice staff. Very close to the Farringdon tube and in a great neighborhood. Loved the complimentary amenities like coffee and snacks on each floor, water bottles in the room. The breakfast service could have been more polished, and more tasty. Would definitely stay here again.

Poor staff at the bar (no reception at some entrances) who’s not able to direct you to the Zetter Townhouse. I really had the impression to disturb when I was asking for help…

The Zetter is a fantastic little boutique hotel located only minutes away from a Tube stop and right on a bus line. The decor is modern, the staff is friendly, and the location wasn't bad. I'd definitely stay there again!

If I could rate the hotel and staff a 6 out of 5 I would — absolutely wonderful experience everytime we stay. We can't wait to come back.

Had the bottomless brunch here. The prosecco was nice, the food good but not anything special. Overall, a good experience.

Great service. Quick check in. And a double upgrade. Time to buy a lottery ticket. Huge week appointed room with good selection of snacks. Coffee down the hall. Very comfortable king size bed. What are the suites like…

It's quirky and A bit of a hidden gem. Good place to have a coffee when you want somewhere quieter than the coffee shops.

I just went to the bar, haven't seen the rooms. The menu and it's prices is ok for the area. Has good cocktails too. Plenty of space, quiet and comfortable place, and rarely busy.

We used a Sunday sleepover deal. Good value for money, for London anyway. The staff were all lovely, really made an effort. The breakfast and cheeseboard were great. We had an issue where they thought we had to pay extra for breakfast but we thought the deal meant it was included, and they responded in the best way, listening and then giving us the benefit of the doubt so we got it for free. The room was nice for my tastes, the shower particularly good.

By London standards — big, airy rooms for a fair price. Fast, personal and helpful around the clock service and staff. Free Wi-Fi and two adjoining restaurants, with excellent breakfast options.

Stupid system where you have to pay to be a member to sit in their 'wine room' (read: lounge bar). I understand they they're a business and have to generate revenue from their floorspace, but don't welcome me in one day without mention of membership and then refuse my entry next visit. I had planned my day around spending a few hours working here in the afternoon and now I'm pounding the pavement looking elsewhere. Not sure if the woman and the reception did not want to help or just did not realise how much of an imposition it was.

HotelTonight Bargain on a Sunday night! Small rooms, with comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms. Great nights sleep. One issue — the wooden shutters were impossible to align and close properly — so there was more light in the room that I'd have liked early in the morning.

The Zetter is a lovely "hipster" hotel, restaurant and bar. I booked it for my husband's surprise 30th Birthday Party. I highly recommend the bar in the Zetter Townhouse and the private room which is within the bar "The Dining Room" is so quirky and cool. The staff at the townhouse are amazing, great cocktails and very accommodating general service. Marc who helped me organise the event was also helpful. We ate dinner at 'The Kitchen Table' — a semi private space that is part of the hotel. The food was nice and well presented. However I think the service could be improved upon. I found the main person looking after our table to be unwelcoming verging on rude. He kept on telling us to push our chairs in (even though he had plenty of space) and he wouldn't let us use a whole side of the table we had because he said it would be too difficult for him to get past even though there was plenty of room! This is why I am marking them 4 rather than 5 stars. It was still a great evening, just something the Zetter should consider for the future.

The bar area and lounge are lovely, but the rooms leave a lot to be desired, it looks like a student halls of residents if I'm honest. Also the walls are exceptionally thin, so I was woken at 5am by the gentleman next door talking on his phone. The tea and coffee making facilities are communal and located at the end of the corridor, which is very odd? Why not install a kettle in each room, who wants to wander down the corridor and queue for a morning cup of tea? Would I use this hotel again, probably not, it's not to the standard that I expect and over priced for the room quality and services.

Swanky hotel with modern rooms. Very nice staff. Sadly the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, which they blamed on it being a sensitive fire alarm. I couldn't go back to sleep after that, so unfortunately I can't separate that from my opinion of the place.

Very beautifully done up small hotel at St. Johns square. The rooms a of good size and bright. The reception staff is very polite and helpful. A good place to stay in the center of London for a short stay.

Afternoon Tea and a special menu that will make you appreciate the English culinary culture of one of the best promises of world cuisine, the visionary chef Ben Boeynaems, a Head chef who manages all the kitchens of the Zetter Group but still found behind the stove, with his team, to cook in front of customers who always go away on a full stomach and with a smile on his lips.

Great meeting place with really good service. However I ordered the baked posted egg for breakfast and is was totally overcooked. Upon complaining (politely! ) the manager immediately offered to take it off my bill. The fresh juices here are absolutely lovely. Great vibe and a good meeting place for me and my colleagues. Plenty of electrical sockets and good Wi-Fi too. Lovely decor.

We've just enjoyed a night away staying at The Zetter. The staff were super friendly, our room was clean and cosy and our breakfast was delicious; a continental breakfast was included in our room rate but we were given the option to switch to a hot breakfast which we really appreciated. We enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine in the bar last night which was quiet but had a really lovely atmosphere. Would totally recommend a stay here.

Good staff, didn't like the décor, but at least it doesn't a weird fake theme like their one by Marble Arch. Not cheap.

Nice hotel. I had the opportunity to stay for two weeks when I moved to London. Extremely nice and helpful staff and nicely appointed rooms.

Stayed at the Zetter for 3 nights and all I can say is AWESOME! I absolutely loved it! Rooms are beautiful, staff is friendly and very attentative, their cocktail bar top notch and the food at the restaurant was decent as well. Very easy and well deserved 5 stars. I'd give 6 if I could ;)

Forget the short and pointless menu, the barmen will know exactly what you want, just ask them, and go play with the boxing kangaroo or see how much of Peter Rabbit and Miss Tiggy-Winkl's stories you can remember. A chilled venue for a perfect late night tipple.

Found in the City, this quirky cocktail lounge has elegant surroundings, low lighting, comfy sofas and includes an open fireplace. Various quirky artefacts adorn the walls and interior of this glorified living room, look out for the kangaroo with boxing gloves! Each table has its own little flower arrangement. The cocktail list is very small with a selection of only 12, but this list exhuberates quality and not quantity. All the cocktails are unique and inspired by the area’s distilling heritage. They are very flavoursome comprising of a variety of homemade cordials and infusions which are placed behind the apothecary style counter at the bar. The potent cocktails are all served with a glass of water! Ladies try the ‘Soixante-Quinze’ and Gents try ‘The Richmond. ’ This laid back bar has funky chill out background music making it an enjoyable place to relax and unwind after a stressful day.

An artisan cocktail experience. Every drink has a story, every ingredient a logical role and often even a homemade balance that lends even more character. Some places, you buy bespoke drinks and an arrogant unapproachable cretin silently presents their own obscure indulgence. ZTH isn't like that — — there's a generosity of performance and service that makes sitting at the bar a treat.

We were swept away at Zetter Townhouse – a great hotel bar in St Johns Square, Clerkenwell. The only way to really describe it is a beautiful fusion of a bar on Diagon Ally from Harry Potter and someone’s living room in Alice in Wonderland. With creative cocktails like the Flintock (gin, gunpowder tea tincture, sugar, dandelion and burdock bitters, and Fernet Branca — Oh and it’s garnished with real gunpowder! ), and food by renowned chef Bruno Loubet (trust us it’s not your average bar food! ) — It’s a perfect place to have a peculiar but sophisticated evening without the high prices. I went to the Zetter town house for a cocktail making masterclass. I came away with some mouthwatering recipes with exciting ingredients including reduced Guinness! The highlight of my night was the martini garnish experiment. The barman made 4 identical Martinis but served them with different garnishes — olive, twist of lemon, PICKLED ONION and one straight up. It was incredible to see the difference that the garnishes made to the cocktails but also interesting to see how each person at the masterclass' palate varied. As a whiskey drinker my tastebuds are particularly used to straight spirits. This strangely meant that the Martini with the twist of lemon tasted the strongest to me. People with a less developed tast for spirits however, found the stronger garnishes took the sting of the alcohol away. The Zetter Townhouse is a beautifully presented cocktail bar with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. It is run by people who are clearly at the top of their game; an all round excellent experience.

For drinks and nibbles at the bar: excellent. Prices were very reasonable (although the cocktails were a little tiny compared to what I generally see at comparable places in the States). The cocktails themselves were inventive, well-balanced, and (most important) delicious. Definitely recommended.
