This Hotel was a disappointment! It was advertised very well, yet it's not worth it. Paying such an amount for a one night stay was a waste. Upon arrival, with our huge luggages, we thought there would be help, but there was none. I went to look for the front desk which was located on a different building, talked to the receptionist, and asked for help. The receptionist said, we don't have any help. How could that be, when there was no elevator either? We ended up carrying our luggages up the stairs. The room was so cold. I went and looked for a telephone to call the service desk about the heat but there was no telephone! I had to get out of the building and to talk to the receptionist about the heating system. There was no regulator inside our room. The receptionist regulates the heat by his building. I had never encountered such a system like that. There was no wash cloth and I asked for one. The receptionist said, we don't have any. There was no floor mat on the BR. There was no closet in the room. The stairs were so narrow, that only one person could fit in it. The stairs creeks as you step on it. The room was so dusty, and my allergy acted up. Sneezing the whole time. I booked for a quiet room, yet, the room was in front of a very busy street, I could not sleep the whole night due to the loud cars. We could hear the steps and noise of the people above our room. People were smoking in front of our windows and I could smell the cigarette smoke inside our room. I don't think I would call this place a hotel. I'd been traveling a lot, and this was the worst hotel experience I've had. I won't recommend this place to anybody, it was such a disappointment. I never realized that such a hotel like this exist in the City of London. London must set standards for their hotels to protect tourists.
