Perfectly good, clean comfortable place, professional staff. Enjoyed staying there. The only minus was having just one teabag and one biscuit each a day! Thought that was a bit mean considering what we were paying! Overall though, yes I'd stay again gladly.

A great hotel worthy of the 4 star rating! Considering the location — just within walking distance of The British Museum — prices for accommodation are just about great. Very helpful and kind staff, very clean rooms with good sound insulation. My only complaint would be the heating system that was not working properly and was not fixed during my entire 2-day stay. All in all a fantastic place for short to medium London visits. Will be coming back for my next trip.

Really good hotel. Booked last minute and got a very nice room with air con, sofa, large comfy bed and other models cons such as a magimix nespresso pod coffee machine ☺ great selection of drinks, spacious room. Very nice indeed.

This was our first time staying in the hotel and I must say it was excellent! I surprised my wife for her birthday and bought two different packages involving the Thistle Holborn. We were both surprised on arrival, we had a bottle of prosecco on the house and they made the beautiful swans from towels. Saturdays breakfast in bed was delicious, the room was so comfortable and wow was it big! Overall for the money paid for the weekend it was well worth the money! The location is perfect for bars, pubs, restaurants even the cinema in Leicester Square! There are, that I remember three theatres in a 15 minute walking distance. Will definitely be returning there!

I stayed here during the Christmas 2017. Room size is adequate with a nice decor. I could easily walk from here to the Oxford Street and London Bridge.

The rooms are clean and the breakfast served is decent. People are pretty helpful. Over all has been a pretty good experience so far.

No views from rooms but well furnished. Hit and miss if you can get hot water in the shower. Central location, close to great Ormond street hospital.

The hotel was very nice and the location was very good. Special mention to Sonia and dew from the breakfast service, as well as to her companions. The breakfast was very nice. The rooms are nice, spacious, and we travel with a baby of 5 months and all that entails. The only downside, the access to the hotel, which is with stairs and no ramp, so you have to upload suitcases and strollers…

Room is not cleaned every day (accordingly Tea & coffee is simply missing). Carpet on the ground was so dusty — after 4 working stay would have to be bright Patscherl throw…

Have stayed here many times over the years but sadly there has been a decline in service and value. Reasonable sized rooms, average hotel food. Wouldn't describe as luxury but a great location for British Museum (2 mins), Holborn tube (5 mins), Covent Garden etc.

Great location, ideally located for holborn and Covent Garden — can be expensive so shop around! Rooms are spacious for central London locations, room service isn't overpriced either.

The rooms were old and a bit congested… the service was nice, but didn't like the rooms. Don't know if all hotels of London are the same, because in half of that price in US, you will get 5 star deluxe room. Also forgot to mention, breakfast was too yummy… :)

I ran a workshop in the Albion room. Excellent space for 4 large round tables with plenty of room to move around. Nice environment and a couple of windows despite being a floor down from the reception. Decent refreshments at the start of the day and a mid morning break. Great central location. Would use again for similar session.

The old, smelly, English hotel.

Great location just a short walk from the British Museum. Rooms not huge but comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good but not great. Average price for a 4 star hotel in London in this district.

We spent four nights in this hotel, and it worked well for us. The location is good, with bus stops right in front, the tube a short walk away, and the British Museum right around the block. The rooms were small, but they were clean and seemingly recently renovated. The breakfast was just okay, as was the free Wi-Fi. The hotel itself was charming and quiet; we went in September, and rarely ran into others in the hotel (which is good since the elevator is tiny). Overall, it is definitely someplace we'd stay again, and would recommend to others.

Centrally located, opposite a bus stop and a stone's throw from Holborn and the British Museum. Nice and clean rooms, good breakfast and helpful and friendly staff.

Nice and friendly staff. Prices, as elsewhere in London, high but worth the costs. I certainly stayed in worse places and will return soon.

If you like indian food please Try The Taj Restaurant in 10 Carlton Parade Orpington Kent BR6 0JB open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 5.30pm to 11.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

We spent 10 days at the Kingley and loved it. The room was a nice size for European standards and had everything we could possibly need in a hotel room. The staff was fabulous and very attentive to our needs. The only down part was the concierge did not have a strong grasp of the area, but tried to help the best he could. The breakfast was fantastic so make sure you include it in your stay, it was a full breakfast buffet which held us over until late afternoon and even dinner time most days. The location of this property is very convenient and closer then we realized to Covent Garden and other great attractions. No need to use the tube if you don't want to but Holburn Station is within 5 min walk. We are frequent travelers and would highly recommend this Hotel.

Great place to stay. Just returned from a family (4 adults and two children) visit to London. I chose the Kingsley because I used to work in the area and believed it would give us a good centre to do all the sightseeing. I was not wrong. We chose a twin room, for me and my sister, and a Junior suite for my niece, husband a two kids. It was lovely. The rooms were good — plenty of space. The staff were very attentive. The breakfast set us up for the day. OK, it may not be the cheapest place to stay but it was well worth it! Thank you.

Good location near St. Pancras International, very practical when we come from the Eurostar. It could be better if the hotel crew could speak some words of french, we had some difficulties to understand how to book the breakfast. I have also seen breakfast tray on the ground, in front of the bedroom, which is annoying for a hotel of this standard. Bedroom was good and very calm, located in the courtyard.

Stayed here a couple of times for a week at a time with work in a deluxe room on the higher floors and would recommend it. Overall the hotel is very good, staff are very attentive, it's clean, the air conditioning is good (although it can break down they are very fast at fixing it) and the breakfast is very good. The rooms might not be the biggest and you may not get a view but the curtains do a good job of keeping the morning light out. Wi-Fi was good and I could easily watch catch up TV on iPlayer no problem. I can't comment on price as work paid.

Terrible hotel for business. Expensive (I think), small rooms, uncomfortable shower, and an unreliable Wi-Fi connection. Luckily, the conference organizers paid for my room. If they hadn't, I'd be asking for my money back. The only thing outstanding about this place is the location 1 blk from the British Museum.
