Excellent service and lovely atmosphere.

I would recommend afternoon tea here the staff are very attentive and friendly.

We loved the restaurant really enjoyed our meals. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for our one night stay. Staff were professional but not over friendly. A great area to stay in right near so many good places and near the tube station the area was quite chic. We enjoyed our stay here.

Absolutely amazing hotel very friendly staff. Very clean breakfast was lovely. Would definitely go back and we cant thank you enough for giving us a free upgrade an breakfast for my partners birthday. Definitely will be visiting again thank you 😊

Buy a gift afternoon tea. Hardly any filling in the sandwiches, staff were friendly.

We have loved everything about the hotel, the staff are so nice especially in the restaurant, the room is very nice and the pillows are so comfortable, we will return.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with mum as I had got her voucher for her birthday. We enjoyed the sandwiches, the scones were divine and all the other treats such as macaroons and mini brownie. The service was great and had a lovely girl serve us. There were choices of tea and coffee, as well as a glass of Prosecco. Also loved the music as it was all 80’s from what I remember. My mum and I had a good laugh and left feeling full too. Definitely recommend trying it out for yourself!

I have had many Afternoon Teas. And this was the only venue that did not give you endless tea refills. Very disappointing.
Scones crumbled to bits when you cut into them.
Service poor.
And NO baby changing facilities.

Staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Made us feel comfortable from the moment we got there. Check in was supposed to be 4pm and we got there around 10 after a really long flight. They saw how exhausted we were and got a room ready for us at 11.30am. Thank you so much.

This hotel was in the best position for transport just a stroll from Euston Station & buses going in all directions to top tourist spots

After some confusion of timing. We had a lovely afternoon tea with fresh sandwiches and lovely cakes. Pot of tea and iced water. Excellent service and a very helpful and obliging lady sorted out the confusion.

Room was very small, air conditioning not working, had to have the window open for ventilation, noise from the street kept us awake for most of the night.
Manager gave us 2 drinks of Cider on the house due to not being able to move us.
Won't be staying at the Bloomsbury again.

Excellent, reasonably priced hotel. Just spent two nights visiting London with family from California & found hotel to be in an ideal location — close to Euston & St Pancras & five minute walk to Russel Square tube. Comfortable, clean & well furnished rooms with air-con, Nespresso coffee & tea making facilities. Breakfast really good, we’ve stayed in many 5* hotels throughout USA & Europe & were really impressed with the quality of the food. All staff really friendly but a special mention for Joe — the concierge — for his help and advise. Would definitely look to stay here again next time in London.

Booked an afternoon tea for my birthday from a voucher that was a gift. Was quite disappointed with what was offered. Very standard cake selection nothing special, few finger sandwiches on a plate and 1 pot of tea each. No hot water for a top up was offered nor at any time did someone offer us a drinks menu so we could order a cold drink too… Of which we didn't have one in the end. Service needed to be better and surroundings lacked atmosphere. Very plain. Considering there are afternoon teas available nearly everywhere in London I wouldn't choose this one sorry. Also maybe greet customers at the door rather than at the bar in the middle of the seating area.

Stayed many times as very convenient for Kings Cross. Friendly service, although in need of a refurbishment in dining area.

Afternoon tea good value. Ask for a window seat. Cold fruit tea very refreshing. Attentive staff.

I usually go there for business meetings so I use their cafe/ bar area. Ambience is quite good. Staff is very helpful and polite and always try their best to meet customer expectations.

A pleasant enough hotel. The amazing thing about this hotel is the staff. Very kind and willing to help. When we got to the hotel we were at a very unsuitable room (came for work and needed working space). Combined with a long journey it was frustrating. The hotel's staff made the whole move effortless and made the rest of the stay enjoyable. Thank you!

My stay has mixed reviews. Firstly, the staff are helpful and it was easy to check in/out & the bed was quite comfortable. However, my room was disappointing. The room was tiny, and needs a real face lift. No mirror above the (worlds smallest) dressing table and the bathroom didn't feel particularly clean. I couldn't sleep due to the noise outside as I was above a pub & sirens going off all night.

Friendly staff at check in, the process was also quick and painless. Rooms are quite small but have everything you need for your stay. The bar was nice and the little terrace outside is nice to sit at in the sun.

Lobby area looks lovely but rooms very basic abd with limited space. We booked a superior room and half of the amenities we booked weren't provided. Breakfast was okay, average. Sausages nice but juice awful.

Was a lovely hotel and staff were polite and friendly. The Pillows and Duvet were duck feather and OMG it was lush. Colour me impressed Bloomsbury. Colour. Me. Im. Pressed.

Usually a good stay. Bacon at breakfast could do with being cooked a bit more (bacon should not bend, let alone flop) and the milk could be kept chilled, but other than that a perfectly acceptable hotel.

The rooms are small — but it was clean and quiet. Breakfast was not included and separately was expensive. There are better hotels in Bloomsbury.

Had a lovely night at The Ambassador Bloomsbury Hotel. The room was very nice, with everything we needed including a docking station radio for iPhone & a decent coffee machine. The wet room meant that there was a decent size shower. Despite being opposite the lift on the second floor, the room was nice and quiet. The breakfast in the morning was very good — buffet breakfast with hot cooked food, cereals, fruit & yoghurts, cheese and cold meats. The hotel was a short walk from Euston station, so well placed to get wherever you need to go. Overall very happy.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Only a short walk from the British museum and library if you want something cultural and vibrant Soho, Oxford Circus and regent Street if your more into shopping or looking for places to eat and drink. The rooms are of a good size and well decorated. Staff are friendly and the afternoon tea is delicious.

Comfortable hotel, warm reception. Room small but comfortable and had all needed. Bed comfortable although only a standard double. Nice hot and powerful shower but nothing to stop bathroom flooding. Very soft towels.

Value for money. Room is small but comfortable and neat. Air-conditioning is good. Espresso machine with couple of capsules, cookies and a bottle of water for free. Location pretty good, 20 min walk from Oxford Street. Hotel's bar is nice. The staff is highly efficient and accessible.

This was a wonderful experience. Had afternoon tea there in sumptuous surroundings. The food and drinks were ace and the staff second to none. Very, very pleased — superb staff.

Have to say I was a bit surprised on entering the room, we had booked 'Deluxe' sadly the room was tiny.
I had to call the reception to ask if I was in a deluxe room!
The bathroom was again small and impractical (no shelves to put toiletries on.
Bath tub was tiny and had several large chips of the coating.
There was only a quarter of a toilet roll (no spare in wardrobe)
Sad to report that there was only 1 large towel provided.
There was an excellent coffee machine but only 2 pods provided.
I called reception and politely request towel toilet roll etc, it never arrived
Breakfast was taken care of by a lovely team of waitresses. So friendly and really looked after us
The fare was of a good standard and it was enjoyed with a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere
Really think they should drop 'Deluxe' from room description, it would lessen expectations and avoid disappointments
Just want to state I have been Airline Crew for the last 30 years, I have stayed in many hotels world wide. And this has been an honest review.

Great hotel, staff very welcoming and attentive, well located and excellent food.

Warm welcome very clean and especially close to all 20mn maximum walk from the place to visited the train station within 10 minutes.
Excellent Stay.

Went for dinner at the restaurant las night, food was lovely and at first the service was attentive. This was a special meal for me as it was an experience voucher bought for me for Christmas by my late husband who sadly passed away in September. Food was very nice but evening was completely ruined by the Restaurant Manager/Head waiter who kept banging the till screen with a biro, it was like morse code all evening long. Two members of staff spoke to him about it but he continued (even louder), you couldn't have a conversation, at first it was funny but after an hr it wasn't. Had to ask for the wine/drinks menu and was never even offered dessert, asked for the bill which we got quickly then had to wait 20 mins to pay, not even busy. Shame as the restaurant is lovely and the food was great, spoilt the night! won't be returning!

Nice decor and great location. The room was nicely done, it was small but functional. Nice ensure, again small but functional. Nice touches on the room. However was the 1st floor and at the front of the building. So really noisy. Slept with earplugs and still noisy. Shame there is not secondary glazing. Breakfast was excellent. Staff ask really pleasant.

We held small conference at this hotel and everything was perfect. Great facilities, excellent food and lovely location. One of the best hotels in London for your business needs.

Beautiful hotel to see London from, close to the Euston underground and train station. The hop on — hop off bus stop is also right outside the front door. The hotel has an elegant restaurant and free fuel (food) in the morning. Everything was in walking distance including a great variety dining options in Euston Station. There were many other stores for everything we needed. We loved it.

Tiny room, felt claustrophobic. Wasn't a fan of the wet room bathroom and shower either as everything got soaked and had to wait the floor to dry before I went back in. The location is good, staff were nice and food was ok. If I was to stay again I'd definitely book a nicer room.

Very nice room. Lovely breakfast. Evening meal expensive and over priced I think. We ate elsewhere. But. Everything else was great. Will definately stay again.

Tiniest hotel room have ever seen — although last minute booking so fair enough. Most of the staff were good. Another a tut for requesting whole invoice address couple of times. Has a gym but was down in the basement with 3 machines, (which is really all I needed), but felt a bit cut off when down there on my own.

Stayed for one night at a weekend as I was down in London for a concert. I was pleasantly surprised, definitely one of the best hotels at a very reasonable price that I've stayed at in London. Would go back.

We went for a long weekend over a bank holiday. The hotel itself was very clean and welcoming and the staff were absolutely lovely. The rooms were small but that's what you would expect in the city centre. The breakfast itself was amazing, it sets you up tight for the day.

Stayed here for the sake of location and safety. Small room, cannot open two mid-size suitcases without putting the two single beds together. Bathroom shower curtain was useless as water all splashed on the floor. The bell boy, Joe, is the only one truly deserves a five stars, professional, attentive, friendly and helpful with all questions!

This hotel has the WORST idea of customer service I have ever experienced! DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL. There are thousands of hotels in London, and this SHOULD NOT be the hotel you choose. Atrocious customer service. This hotel needs to remember that customers are PAYING. I have never experienced such a rude and hostile hotel staff in my life.

A great location to the theatre district means a brisk 15 minutes walk can get you in the centre of the best stage shows in Britain. The rooms are clean and tidy, slightly compact, however I have no doubt this it the norm for a London location. The staff are knowledgeable of the area and very polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a pleasant hotel in a great location as a London based for a few nights.

Hot breakfast took over 45 mins to prepare, not acceptable. Had to leave before we could try. Room was good size but not the cleanest bed sheets or carpets. Good amenities in room. Staff friendly.

The room was small but clean and well equipped, coffee machine as well as a kettle, however the room was over the main road and was noisy all night. I'm sure the rooms down the side of the hotel will be fine.

Stayed overnight to watch wicked at the Victoria apoll, hotel was right next to Euston making it easy to get to. Room wasn't the biggest but finished to a high standard, windows kept most of the noise out and we had a great nights sleep. Staff were very freindly.

Really nice hotel. Definitely value for money. Welcoming and friendly staff. Decent size double bedroom. Room service was on point and very good. Bathroom is decent. Could do with a power shower but it's ok. Really good location. With access to many train lines. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Afternoon tea was quiet and pleasant. Very enjoyable, clean hotel. However the cutlery we were given was dirty. Staff were nice.

Left home 3:30 am. Due to have meetings 2:00-10:30 pm. Arrived here but unable to check in until 3 pm. And to rest in public areas (advice given by reception)

We stayed in on of the Ambassador rooms on the 5th floor, it was roomy and clean. Decor was stylish. Wet room was a nice touch, though the over bath shower did diminish the effect some. Service was excellent, all the staff we dealt with were friendly and actually seemed to enjoy their jobs, not the norm in London hotels! Only two minor negatives were the very very firm mattress and the dribbling water pressure in the shower. But neither of which are enough to deter us from a return visit.

My staff turned up to view this venue for its conference facilities on 18th June, with a potential to hosting our UK teacher training events. The staff who greeted my staff, were rude, unwelcoming and did not seem to know you had conference facilities. The rooms they were shown were out dated and dark. As a result we will not be using your services for our teacher training events.

Very nice and quiet gym with swimming pool and sauna. I really like spending my free time there.

Disappointing, except for the service which was helpful and polite and the location. The room, typically small for London. Relatively clean but feeling a bit worn out and dated. Some sloppy finishes make it feel a bit shabby. Had the misfortune of a room above or below construction and loud banging during the late morning. A problematic lack of storage in the bathroom. One hook for a towel and a sink barely large enough to rest a tube of toothpaste. The shower is an open design with no edge to keep the water from spilling over the entire bathroom. Overall disappointing, yet acceptable in a pinch if you set expectations accordingly.

DO NOT STAY Here, the rooms are small and bathrooms are worse than on the rail station. The rooms are worse than Travel lodge 2009 and the rooms are smaller the bathrooms in my house. Exept my one is nicer looking and actually has an openable window.

Stylish, simple and functional. Free Wi-fi, free gym in basement, proper tea and coffee in room, my room even had a spiffy Nespresso machine! Recommended.

A very special weekend in London — attending a Maths Emporium, but had a great time at the Ambassador. Great location — within walking distance of all the special London attractions. Worth the visit.

Smart, simple and clean hotel. Room was decent size considering location with an enormous bed! All catering was excellent. Dinner was superb with husband commenting that his beef dish was the best he'd had. There were also plenty of vegetarian options for me, which makes a pleasant change. Breakfast was lovely with a comprehensive selection. All service was competent and friendly. Overall an excellent hotel. Minor issues — air conditioning is excessive and no newspapers at the weekend.

The hotel is quiet and well located. The premises are correct, even if there were cracks and dust in some places in the room. Where the stay goes bad, it's about the service. No staff speak french, nobody made the effort to understand what my mother (who does not know English) tries to explain, and I have to hold the role of translator. No effort, and above all a willingness to cash at any price the money from your credit card, then nothing. Super disappointed in this hotel which presents on the internet but is not at all up to these expectations. Impression of getting "ripped off", in all cases of disturbing.

Here on business, I was booked a very very small and basic single room. It didn't even have a kettle, so no cups of tea for me. Unless you want to get overpriced room service. I got some chips for £3 and was surprised to be presented with 9 chips. Although they were very nice, bit expensive! Close to transport links, clean, comfy beds and friendly staff. Would not come here if I were paying to come to London for pleasure, you can get a lot more for your money.

The hotel is very quiet. It is very clean and the service is at the height of a 4 *. Our room was small so not easy to stay for several nights. It consisted of a hairdryer, a flat screen on the wall, free water and a safe. The bed was comfortable but without more. The view of the window given on a courtyard and other buildings in renovation so not top.
We did not use the restaurant of the hotel. It is well located close to St Pancras station.
