Host was friendly and room clean and bright. Location excellent and Wi-Fi had good signal.

DO NOT STAY HERE… The owner (the women) was extremely rude to say the least, spoke to us very loud and aggressively when we were leaving. As we were coming in to stay the son was aggressive and threatening warning us not to be loud when we go in before we had even stepped foot in the building that evening! Im not one for negativity but I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this type of experience.

Pretty bad experience with the owner, was rude. The toilets are outside the room (shared), and the room is a bit careless, need someone to put some attention to the details. I won't pay the price of this place next time, as it is not worth and more expensive than it should be.

I can't give any opinion of the rooms at all because I wasn't able to stay there, but I will also never contact them again. From the first phone call the person answering the phone was ridiculously callous and rude. I felt that the entire call was rushed and off-handish. This was a perfect example of terrible customer service. I will never call again.

For the price I felt this was a good deal, I was only here for a short stay and the location was excellent.

I have just departed becket guest hosue, and I would like to say that my stay was delightful. Very friendly hosts, very clean and tidy house, and I must say, its the first b&b I have been to that serve you a full english breakfast! I have never been to oxford before and the land lady was so kind nd helpful in pointing me in the right direction for all the attracti8ve sights etc which were all very close as the b&b is very central. I did my research before my stay and the rates are the best in the area. I couldnt fault the b&b, although there are a few bad reviews on this site I would have to disagree and suggest that people with such high standards should go and stay at the ritz carlton instead! I shall be staying here again soon and recomending it to everyone I know. A+++

I stayed here two weeks ago and it was a rely nice place. It was clean warm and the staff were very nice and helpful. My bed was made everyday with fresh towels and clean sheets every two days. I stayed in total four night and will be coming back the next time I visit oxford the prices are rely good. I rely don't know what these other people are on about when they say the things like bigwilleee. He rely dose not know what he is on about. I recommend Becket house the anyone young or old.
