The Hotel itself is stunning from a design perspective. The rooms are tasteful and well equipped. However the choices of food are poor with a limited menu. The buffet was extortionate with a price of over £65 with drinks for 2 adults and a child. 2 pizzas with chips and 3 drinks in the wine tower eating area stunned us at over £46. Ridiculously over priced for the standard of food presented. Disappointed. 🤨

Loved the entire place. Hotel was beautiful. Huge and tastefully done.

But don’t order the meat pizza, they forget to put the meat on it 😱

Lovely hotel Friendly service from all the bar and restaurant team last night. Food excellent had the vegan bowl Caesar salad and two fish and chips. Everything was excellent Friendly welcoming check in too. Comfy room with lovely bedding.

Very bad customer service, my friends stayed at this hotel and I didn’t know quarantine hotels were not allowed parcels. I sent 2 parcels and called nearly every week to ask where it is as my friends left the hotel now and they have lost it. They keep lying, one says they lost it one says they sent it back one says they don’t keep parcels. I called so much and they keep connecting me to reception to security and security to reception. And I have emailed them with photo evidence that Parcelforce delivered my parcels yet I don’t know where my parcels are and they won’t give me compensation. They keep changing stories and connecting me with ‘managers’ which I’m not sure if they actually are. I’ve been calling so much and now I’ve been told since it was about one month ago I should have called earlier.

At this time in 2020, the hotel was perfect, clean food ans drink available if required, cannot fault well done.

I have been waiting for two weeks for a response from the manager despite reasoning formal complaint through the customer service team.
No one answers phones, responds to calls or acknowledges anything. A lovely hotel but is tired and clearly has staffing issues we definitely won’t be staying and hope one day to get a response to complaint but not holding my breath.

Good hotel but the steakhouse restaurant is awful … food was cold … lamb umdercooked had to send it back and… they automatically charge 10% "service charge". Charged top dollar and carne out hungry!

Very poor service waited to be served at the bar 20 minutes. Then phoned reception for some ice, told it would be 45 minutes. How ridiculous!

A lovely hotel friendly staff great location would stay again in a heartbeat only down side is pillow need to be assorted and some hard ones but all in all happy customer.

I like to stay at Radisson Blu hotels when I have early morning flights the next day. Their locations are always excellent. You check in, have an early meal and get some sleep before getting up for a 6am flight. With that in mind, where does it occur to a hotel manager to close one of his two restaurants, not serve food at the bar and force his 700 guests to choose between the 9pm or later opening at the only restaurant in the hotel or eat at Burger King in the airport? Let's face it, Stansted airport is not exactly bursting with choices outside of security.

Loved the rooms. Super comfy and nice. However check it takes ages and there is only one reception open and they never pick up the phone from to room. So if you have a simple question or want to order room service — not a chance. So for me the hotel is comfortable and nice but the service is horrible.

Flew in during a red eye. It was nice the hotel was very close to the hotel. About a 5 min walk from the airport exit. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. The breakfast had a large selection and better than most others in London that I had.

Beautiful hotel. Very stylish and comfortable well maintained rooms. Construction work on new restaurant bar and once completed looks to be spectacular. Easy walk through covered walkway to terminal Would definitely recommend and use this hotel again myself. Easy parking.

Stayed overnight with my daughter before our flight. I hesitated in paying high price but she wanted a day in the spa. So disappointed as steam room closed, pool so small ridiculous can't call it a spa. Staff with tattoos and piercings greeted us in a way of annoyance. Didn't mention boiler broken so showers cold. Bar being refurbished in central atrium looked liked building site. Room poor and hardly slept all night. Would never visit again.

The convenience to the airport is worth the money alone, but take your own drinks. £15.20 for a glass of house wine and a bottle of Peroni in the bar another chap got charged £17.50 for a glass of wine and bag of crisps.

When I arrived my toilet continuously flowed and even after it had apparently been repaired it still flowed. Changed room and fridge doesn’t work and wall art missing (minor point) but left exposed hooks on wall. Hotel under renovation so felt like entering a building site. Swimming pool area looks tired with paint peeling off the walls. The sauna was out of order. When I ordered room service they tried over charging me. Orders over £20 should not be charge for room service but they tried and they tried charging me more for the wine than advertised in there brochure. Prices are ridiculous for food on site but the staff are very warm and welcoming. Also no complimentary toothpaste or tooth brush which I would expect from a 4*. Dirty cutlery in the hallways made it feel cheap. Wouldn’t rate it 4 *. Very disappointed and would not stay again.

A great place to park and stay before you fly. The staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a swim in the pool. Our room was lovely with some great views of the runway. But don't expect more than a good pub grub dinner at a hotel price though. The children's menu was cancelled and a terrible kids buffet was served in its place because there were 'so many children staying at the hotel' we were told but we saw no justification for this. Only a 5 minute walk to the terminal though.

Of all the Radisson hotels we have stayed in around the world this is unfortunately the worst. It's the same old story not enough staff on reception, or the bar which is a shame because there's the first impression gone and it's fault finding after that. The restaurant was it's only redeeming feature, staff, food and quality. Room clean, well laid out, but no milk for an early brew, water not emptying in the sink. All down to staffing issues all had an excuse but I'm a customer I don't expect staffing problems to blight my holiday at what professes to be a top notch hotel. Forgot no staff to do room service all in all a bad day for the Radisson at Stansted airport still there are other hotels.

Hotel looked good. We visited one of the restaurants as all others were full. I ordered the special pork steak after being advised by the waiter and my wife ordered risotto. After about 10 minutes the waiter returned to advise me they had ran out of the special, a little disappointed but then ordered a salad with salmon. After waiting a little longer my salad arrived. I didn't start eating as my wife's risotto from the original order hadn't arrived. After 5 minutes of waiting and maybe seeing me trying to get the attention of the waiting staff the manager arrived and asked if everything was OK. He was advised of the situation and confirmed he'd ensure the risotto would arrive straight away (and he'd give us a discount), it did after another 5 minutes. The wife had 3 mouthfuls and left it as it was flavourless, she was frustrated at the service and lost her appetite so we didn't ask for a replacement as it would have been wasted. Upon requesting the bill I double checked to find my original order of the special was being billed along with my replacement salad and the wife's risotto. Upon advising the waiting of this (who struggled to understand the situation, even though he was the waiter who dealt with the whole process) the manager had to be called. He removed the steak and discounted my £17 main by £5. I would visit the hotel again but probably try and eat elsewhere before I arrive.

Nice room, shame about the staff. We requested special assistance for checkout to take us to the airport. When we checked out (3:30am) the requested assistance had not been arranged and we were told that the special assistance department didn't open until 4am. The receptionist was not apologetic, but instead kept blaming her colleague who had checked us in the evening before. After walking to the airport we saw that special assistance was actually, open and if the receptionist had been helpful instead of blaming others she could have got it sorted. Her whole attitude was that we were insignificant and an inconvenience. If you can accept poor custom service then I would recommend this hotel purely for its location next to Stansted Airport. Otherwise forget it. We will be complaining to management but will probably just get the stock 'we don't care' reply. For me, this hotel will be forever known as the Radisson Blu-it!

Went there for a work get together. The bar staff were very attentive and worked with smiles on their faces. The breakfast was pretty good. There was plenty to choose from and all the hot food was always kept topped up and never run out. My room was nice and modern and was very clean. The bath towels were very soft and there plenty of them. Check was very quick and easy. My only slight quibble is that they should highlight a lot more the key drop for check out, as a lot of people were queuing to the k out when they could have just dropped the key and gone. The function room we used for our conference had sample space and there was plenty of tea and coffee to keep everyone happy. The access to the hotel from the train terminal is very quick and simple. Overall I had a good experience of this hotel and would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone else.

Comfortable enough rooms but appalling rudeness from the unapologetic staff. At 6am, I tried to go for a swim in the hotel pool. Staff told me it didn't open until 8. So I came back at 8 and another staff member told me wouldn't open until 11.30am, because there were "swimming lessons for babies". Firstly, what kind of baby needs to swim for THREE AND A HALF HOURS? Secondly, why close off the whole pool for this? Thirdly, given checkout time is 12 noon, that effectively leaves no time for overnight guests to swim anyway. NO APOLOGY from the desk staff, just a blunt "The pool is closed". My next interaction with the staff was even worse. I'd put a couple of beers in the bar fridge the night before. When I pulled them out they were still warm. I phoned reception to ask why the bar fridge was not cold, and again — no apology, just a blunt "Because they don't work. " When I asked why the bar fridge doesn't work — a reasonable enough request, given I'm paying for these facilities — the staff member sounded exasperated and annoyed, and said "Because we're in the process of replacing them all. " Again, there was NO APOLOGY and no effort to remedy the situation. Just unwarranted rudeness and a complete and utter disregard for customer service. And all this at a hundred and twenty five pounds per night. Appalling, will never stay at Radisson Blu again.

A large hotel close to the airport where you can rest between 2 planes if you do not want to stay confined in the enclosure of the Terminal.

I remember staying here years ago… great hotel. I miss the acrobats I the wine tower. Beds are very comfortable. Great view. Five minute walk to the airport as bus depot!

Room very basic but clean enough. Taste of decor a bit cheap. Service was very slow… You cannot get hold of anyone from the room phone. But they had halal food options which was great.

I have stayed at this hotel a lot for business and it fluctuates greatly but in the last 3 years it has gone significantly downhill. The rooms are threadbare. I am currently staying on floor 2 — there is hardly any carpet left. They have emptied all mini bars and the room is set up for 3 with a massive double bed and a campbed set up which is taking up a third of the room. When I called 1touch service (ha) I was told that it is a permanent bed. It isn’t. And that they need it as they often have families of 3 staying. Of which I am not one. They won’t remove the bed but can move me to a single room. No thanks. The Hilton by Hampton may well have a limited menu and no pool but it has carpet, a clean bar, and space in the room. They also have service.

Very good hotel. Experience after flight cancellation. Located right next to the airport. Quiet, good room, spacious and comfortable. I recommend it. Proper restoration in quality and quantity, reasonable price.

Hotel is ideally placed within walking distance via the covered walk way to the hotel, ideal with little ones. As was the parking for the duration off our holiday. Staff Very helpful when we needed a cot not a bed. You leave your car key with them which I didn't know and hadn't done before, it has also moved space which I felt wasn't necessary but then I'm just precious about my car. Very minor really. Check in seemed to take ages but it did seem usually busy and it was past bedtime when we arrived with 3 young dozey kids to get settled. Overall Very good, would happily stay again if flying out Stansted early.

Nice hotel close to Stanstead Airport.

Not super horrible but really not worth any 4 stars. The rooms are big and seem nice. But everything is a bit old and shabby. Window view is not into the green but directly facing the lobby area. AC was not working properly. The room was super hot. The bed sheet was weird — all feathers went in one corner of the sheet during the night so I was freezing most of the night. Only one of the sheets was like this. Probably a mistake. But still not worth a penny. I was a bit upset when we left and I told the receptionist about the problems that should be solved for the next guest. But that guy rarely understood any English. And I don't think that my German accent is this bad. So this was 4 years ago but I never went to any Radisson blue again after this.

Generally very comfortable. I was also hosting a training course for the week and very pleased with the efforts of the staff in assisting with my requirements, room change, projection set up, additional photocopies etc. Etc. Meals are a touch on the pricey side but excellent quality, breakfast was also top notch with plenty of options. Wasn't a fan of getting static shocks from everything including the door and light switches, lift controls pretty much anything metal. Probably my shoes, but really wound me up.

The room is comfortable enough and the check-in process was fine, enough to merit 3 stars, but the security latch on the room is broken and the hotel hotel restaurant Collage is abysmal. If that alone were getting rated it would get one star, but only because less isn't an option. Seated at approximately 19:45 (I sent a message on my phone capturing the time stamp). The server didn't arrive to greet me for five minutes, then took my order for a glass of water, soup if the day, and a Cesar salad with chicken. 19:51, another message. After she dropped of the water about four minutes later I sat working via my mobile until I realized quite a bit of time has passed, especially when another table complained about not having received their food yet. Finally, someone dropped off the soup, not hot, at 20:15. I finished at 20:20 (now taking notice of times). At 20:35 the server came by and asked if I was ready for the next course. I stated I was, and had been for some time. She cleared the bowl and left. She returned at 20:55 stating it would be just one more minute. Salad arrived at 20:59. Finished at 21:07. The server passed and made eye contact. It is now 21:28 and nobody has come by or brought the check. I am now looking for the manager.

Great location on tge airport complex. Needed car parking for a week. Needed overnight stay because of an early flight. Put them together and the Radisson Blu fits perfectly. Rooms were also spacious and comfortable. Great choice.

Superbly plush hotel, very close to Stansted airport. The restaurant is amazing. There is a tall wine rack, and a waiter on a trapeze will club up this rack, get the bottle of wine, and acrobatically descend to give you your wine. Would strongly recommend.

Having some local competition looks like it's finally getting the Radisson to step up its game. Friendly staff, quick service and strong bar work were the highlights, but the rooms are still dated and tired. I'm sure it's not normal, but the TV took 10 minutes to turn on (there was even a loading screen! ) and, disappointingly, my Gold status wasn't recognised so no upgrade (I can live without that) or even bottles of water in the room (which is irritatingly petty. ) A mixed bag, but better than it's been before.

I stayed at the Radisson Blu hotel for only one night and I immediately found the service excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

If this so called four star wants and takes Coach Party’s they should reinstate the coach bays or provide them. Instead of using their car park for holiday parking for the airport. I will try my best to inform operators and coach companies that this hotel as it is no longer fit for purpose. I must also add, thank you for deleting my comment from your Facebook page it seems the truth does hurt. You can also thank your CEO for NOT REPLYING it would seem he endorses this fiasco considering COACH PARKING.

As a family of four, we had two adjoining, lovely rooms. Staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant area is very trendy, with a 'wine tower' professionally ascended via ropes and pulled. The spa and gym area could do with an update, but is fine meeting the needs of a short stay.

Nice hotel. Little on the pricey side, but expected for a "london" airport hotel. Second time staying and second time thermostat/ventilation system is problematic. Other guests noted same. Room has to be 19° although 24 displayed. Last time thermostat read 22 and even with heat on, was freezing. For reference I normally sleep in shorts with no duvet with the ac set to 21… frustrating that staff don't seem to believe you… just insist on how it SHOULD work!

Very helpful staff, when asking for directions to the conference room for the event I was speaking at, the lady at reception offered to validate my parking for the day. Room was comfortable, with a view of the Angels Wine Tower, several floors of wine racks that the bar staff use climbing equipment to retrieve your favourite tipple from. It's 5 minute walk to the airport itself.

I went to a professional event. Regular food, snacks, coffee, etc. Regular too.

Super hotel. Really airy and bright inside. Comfy beds and very clean. Also the hotel restaurant do the best deserts and steak. I'd nearly go back just for that.

Me and a friend stayed at the Radisson for one night before flying out on holiday in the morning, We Arrived around 8pm, check in was prompt, if a little clinical due to a lack warmth from the lady at reception. We went to our room which was spacious, modern and very clean, bathroom was the same with a nice finish on the high quality fixtures. I didn't eat in the restaurant but enjoyed a glass of wine from the very extensive list of drinks. Checkout was similarly quick, I Will definitely use again as the hotel was immaculate.

Arrived at 2am after a delayed flight. Warm welcome, room upgraded. Very good quality linen, pillows and bed. Will definitely book again.

Very good in all aspects.

Fairly standard chain hotel. Rooms were clean and nice enough (although why I had three phones but no plugs at the bedside I'm unsure). Breakfast was again a fairly standard hotel buffet breakfast. A word of warning though, the hotel is not well sign posted from the airport although I doubt there's much they can do about this.

Comfy bed, decent bathroom. However, was disappointed overall, given price paid for room. Dinner in the Collage restaurant was over priced for what was essentially pub grub. My husband and I both ordered medium rare steaks. His was medium rare, mine as well done! I would have complained, but noone came to check on how the food was. In the end, I was hungry so just ate it. Sides were expensive for what they were — two courses for two, plus nibbles and soft drinks for one £90! Breakfast had a really good range and was laid out well, but the hot food wasn't really hot. On checking out, I noted that the person on front desk did not ask how our stay was, which almost every other hotel I've stayed in has done. So — not worth the price for us I'm afraid.

Nice and comfortable place in the restaurant for children free and good things for adults spacious and clean rooms.

This hotel is located just outside STN airport only 2 minutes walk away. The facility is new and well taken care of. The architecture and decoration are very pleasant. The staff is nice and helpful. The room me and my partner stayed on is spacious and was clean and tidy on our arrival. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, we had a very relaxing night of sleep. The breakfast had plenty of choices however we arrived 40 minutes before closing and some of the food was not available anymore. The overall experience was very nice and we'll definitely come back to this hotel.

Superb location. Clean, well run, very friendly concierge and a convenient 'park and fly' option for airport users. You really can't fault the location and unlike one or two other reviewers it's easy to navigate through the airport road. The hotel is right at the very end of the road network and you just keep going as far as you possibly can until you reach the hotel car park which is well signposted. The 4 storey wine rack is a great feature with its own 'wine angel' who abseils up and down at weekends. Recommended.

Great location if you have an early or layover flight at stanstead airport. Only a few minutes walk to the terminal. Rooms are nicely furnished although relatively small. The view of the runway was an added bonus. As a whole the service was good however the restaurant service felt poor… Almost as if they knew that the clients are likely to not be repeat customers.

Outstanding hotel! The staff was very nice and the service was above and beyond. It was warm in our room and the service staff provided a portable fan for us. The bar atmosphere was great! Quiet, clean and probably the best sleep I've had at a hotel in a long time. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and airport terminal. We took the Stansted Express line twice into downtown London and it only took 40 minutes to Liverpool Station.

The windows of half rooms are incompetant in Vnutrjanku Hotel. It's terrifying, the window always needs to be closed because the elevator is all looking at you in the window.

The hotel was very good and provided incredibly close access to the Stanstead terminals. Finding it was awkward though, make sure you don't follow your satnav through the quick drop off area of the airport; we had to pay £3 for the pleasure of driving straight through it and the airport wouldn't let us off with the charge.

Been here a fee times for work confrences and overnight stay. I travel alot and this hotel comes out top everytime .

Fantastic hotel great for airport rooms are very comfortable and spacious food court was good however airport 5 mins walk to other offers available although somewhat over priced in all a great stay.

There was an initial problem with the room, was given a twin instead of a double, this was dealt with quickly and smoothly by the front of house. There was a quiet and comfortable nights sleep followed by a great choice of breakfast to a good standard. Will stop again.

Great location, 5 min walk to security. Clean and spacious rooms. Got a take away breakfast which was poor, items were missing and no hot drink but overall a great hotel.

The location of this hotel is fantastic for Stansted Airport. Literally a three minute walk from reception to the airport concourse. The bar is excellent and has to been seen to be believed — a wine tower rises at least forty feet into the air and staff trapeze up an down to fetch your selected bottle — highly impressive! Not had an evening meal, but breakfast is stunning with just about anything you can think of available. It's not the cheapest, but then it is the only 4 star hotel in the locale.

Used to stay here everytime before family holiday, but will never go back again. Ended up with noisy disruptive neighbours who were smoking some hardstuff. Made us feel sick. I left my vehicle there & came back to it not being in the same condition plus an odd mirror. I addressed this & just got a shoulder shrug. Avoid, Avoid & Avoid.

Went for a afternoon tea event organised by employer. Location is good and would be great for traveling from Stansted airport. Only saw the conference room which was fine. Food was acceptable.

Lovely foyer, bar and restaurant. Somewhat dated room but more than adequate. No robes. Some confusion over breakfast as at check in we were told it would be at 0600 but in the morning it transpired that breakfast would not be until 0630 which we could not wait for because of flight. Staff were friendly and welcoming however overall it was not of the standard expected.

Being next to an airport, helps a lot with weekend travels to London. And not expensive at all!

Tired room, terrible room service. The lack of quality is probably down to it being the only option if you want a hotel by Stansted, which seems to be its only redeeming feature.

Oh dear. As an airport stop over hotel it is not the worst I have experienced but for the price probably is. Apart from a stay before an early morning flight I have been to two training events in 2015. At least convenient if arriving by plane or train-as long as you are from London but don't come by car. Parking is very difficult. I was meeting my partner who was staying over night. Even though I could see her waving at me from the balcony and I knew her room number the receptionist denied all knowledge that she had arrived and checked in (it turned out that it was the same receptionist). There was clearly a problem in communication. We also asked a member of staff how to find the staircase on the second floor and he could not understand and said to use the lift. What about if there was a fire alarm or worse? The restaurant cannot cope with numbers. Some of us waited over 40 minutes to be served the wrong order and wine is hugely over priced even when served from the wine tower. The food when it arrived was lukewarm and not worth the wait. I gave up waiting for coffee and went to the airport and arrived back courtesy of Costa before anyone had their drinks. I also have concerns about how appropriate the gymnastics in the wine tower are if you are at a training event. However the conference suite and break out rooms are all soundproofed and well run and equipped.

STAFF: very friendly, polite and helpful ROOM: very clean FOOD: generally good, breakfast delicious but you can feel it's a little bit mess because it's to meny people for this Staff in the restaurant.

Necessarily a room with a Runway View! A short way to the airport, however there is no noise to be felt.

I have eat in many places around the world and paid good money but I think this place is one of the worst, there pricing is expensive and what you get is very meam and by the time you have glass of wine there is not much change out of £40. I thing it's a case of being trapped on the Airport.

The hotel is ideal if you don't have a car. Nice and convenient location right by the airport. Rooms are satisfactory and food is what you'd expect at the price they charge. If you do have a car and plan to pick guests up, you must buy a parking ticket even if you are just picking up guests and immediately driving away. There is no designated drop off spot and Parking Eye will fine you £100. Please be aware of this as there are no clear signs explaining this and no barriers stopping you enter and leave.

Beautiful and Very Classy Hotel adjacent to Stansted Airport within a few hundred steps. Very Helpful and Courteous Staff and except for the non-working telephone in the room (despite my repeated requests), TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY ENJOYED my overnight stay. Will definitely stay here again on my future travels. From a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER who had an overnight stay on 8th of March 2014 enroute to Valencia, Spain.

Sound proof rooms. Great service. Really good internet (22mbps)! Wine wall is very novel and entertaining. Streak restaurant a little pricey but very good food/service. Location is the best if you are flying from Stansted. Overall, worth the extra £20 over the cheaper alternatives.

Very good hotel, nice rooms clean, breakfast excellent except for the coffee. But we in England! Staff friendly but above all. A stone's throw from the airport!
