We've just had 6 nights at The Lyn Valley Guest House.
Our room was lovely — very clean, bright and plenty of room, as was the bathroom.
The lounge and breakfast rooms were comfortable and inviting.
The thing that really made our stay, was the warmth and welcome of Laura and Jeannie — thank you both and all your staff for a lovely holiday.

Fabulous guest house with great staffs, beautiful rooms and an amazing breakfast. In an amazing central location with free parking what is not to love?! Hope to be back!

Everything thought of to make our stay fantastic. Amazing breakfast, friendly service, lovely spacious room. Not only was the waitress attentive she offered tourist information and her suggestions turned out to be awesome. We even had a thoughtful Anniversary gift left outside our room. Thankyou Lyn Valley team.

I'm afraid we did not have a great experience, it's an overpriced tired hotel. Staff are good though, but are very busy, so can be quite hard to get their attention. This hotel was not for us…

Lovely B&B in Beautiful Lynmouth. Friendly attentive service and clean spacious room. First class Breakfast. Highly recommended! Such a lovely relaxing atmosphere, we will definitely be returning.

What an absolute delight this place is everything you want in a B&B so happy and friendly and an Easter Egg at breakfast it doesn't get better than that!

We enjoyed nice afternoon tea at this hotel… Very good staff.

The view was awesome. Sea, cliffside, sunset and history! All out if the bedroom window. The rooms were fresh and clean. It was like home from home. Decor Modern and well appointed. Bathrooms had lovely products to use… better than my own! Close to amenities. Breakfast nice, didn't eat evening meal so can't comment.

Just stopped in for panninis and a cream tea which offered excellent value releative to other establishments in town. The scones were light and served with generous portions of jam and cream. First class!

Food OK, service slow and staff not particularly friendly. I didn't think it was open at first, the lighting inside is very poor and not inviting. I am looking forward to seeing their new ice cream kiosk and wish them luck with it, they've always sold great ice creams.

Lovely hotel, landlord from perth, good food and excellent service. Toys for toddlers to play with and very family friendly. Great place to rest while plotting your exmoor adventure.

Fantastic hotel, myself and a friend stayed here for a couple of nights in the family room. Room/rooms were huge, all mod cons, excellent powerful/hot shower, comfortable beds. Hotel staff were so welcoming and very funny. We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful location near the river and the wharf. The rooms are very comfortable and I particularly love the sherry that was supplied for a night cap. The Proprietor is really lovely, friendly and always there to help make your stay special. The food in the restaurant is delightful with a varied menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next year.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and quality food. Would be more than happy to stop here again. In addition we had our 1 year old with us, the team contacted us before we arrived to discuss our needs and couldn't of been more courteous.

The Lyn Valley Hotel is just exquisite and very well decorated to a very high standard. Also the owner and staff made us very welcome. Eating in the restaurant was top notch x.

I couldn't ask more, beautiful location, cozy & friendly place to stay, very high standard room and service. And food is amazing!

18th May 2014 for 4 nights What a wonderful place to stay, the rooms are lovely and clean, the food is fantastic and nicer people you couldn’t want to meet. Very Highly recommend.

We had dinner here tonight and it was amazing. The owner was a delight to talk to and so was her other half and the owners mum. Very personal service and made to feel part of the family. Will be back very soon.

I was taken here by my boyfriend for a suprise birthday treat. I had the most amazing time. The room was lovely very clean and fresh. And our room looked over the river. Was beautiful. Excellent excellent place to come and stay.

A beautiful hotel, with rooms as luxurious as any 5 star establishment. A lovely friendly welcome and excellent food served throughout the day. I would highly recommend this hotel.
