Great resort. I would say it's not a luxury get away but you definitely get what you pay for and more. Location is fantastic and right next to 100 things to do in Kapalua. The only thing I'd say is be prepared for the roosters, they are loud and woke us up multiple times before 5am. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.

We stayed here in February 2018. It was awesome despite the crowing roosters. The property was well kept. The room we had was clean and well equipped. I especially loved that our room was upstairs and had 2 bathrooms. That saved a lot of time. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, 10 min walk to the beach. Fully equipped with kitchen and washer/dryer. Fantastic for an extended stay with family, but make sure you close the windows, otherwise creepy crawlies climbs in.

Nice cost effective place to be a quick walk from Kapalua Beach which has many variety of fish, turtles and sharks for snorkelers without have to be very good at swimming.

Located near both Kapalua and Napili beaches which are fantastic. Staff is great, accomodations ok. Chicken ranch next door is very noisy. 24/7. Price is right!

Little bit of a trek across Maui, but for the cost we didn't mind. We only slept there at night and explored during the day, so the room design or amenities didn't matter much. The biggest things you ever want when exploring the island's is a kitchen and A/C. They have both and a washer/dryer, so it was a win. You can also cross the street and go to the resort's beach next to them to watch the sunsets. Enjoy your time in Maui, it is beautiful. I definitely would stay there again.

We had a great experience staying at this facility. I would have given this 5 stars except It's a bit dated, however the linens were new, the beds very comfortable (including the queen sofa bed that we slept on for a week), the pillows new. We cooked every single meal in the kitchen and every supply that we needed was available. The pool was colder than the ocean so not used and the hot tub clean and nice. There were chickens being raised next door so we were awakened by roosters around 5am every morning, which we found quaint, but not sure everyone would feel that way (bring ear plugs). The staff friendly and accommodating. The Gardens exceeded our expectations, an enjoyable vacation!

Staff was friendly. Roosters were making noise all the time. Rooms were clean. Swimming pool was cold and bottom was slippery.

Not like the other big resorts in the island. Very quaint and charming and near the beach!

Everything you need, where you need it. Close to beaches and great snorkeling! Restaurants of all kinds plentiful. Property quiet. Parking very limited with SMALL spaces.

Good location next to the Kapula Golf Course. Well appointed rooms with large flat screen TV in both the living room and the bedroom. Kitchen is well equipped with cookware, plates and silverware. Located across the street from other beach side hotels dies make it a little bit of a challenge to reach Napili Bay as my girlfriend has some mobility issues. Next door to the site is a private residence where there are chickens. These chickens do make noise, think of a rooster alarm clock, but you quickly become used to them. All said and done this site is well worth the price we paid for it. Located very close to Napili Bay which is outstanding beautiful. I would happily stay here again.

Quaint Jacuzzi and pool area though it seemed to lack presence of staff. Rooms are nice and come fully equipped.

Not a luxurious place but well maintained and perfect for 2 people. We stay here every year. The pool area is big and quiet except for the roosters that are adjacent to the property. BBQ area is Pool side. Grills are kept really clean. Located across the street are 2 beautiful beaches.

Simple condos with full kitchen that is close to the beach and resorts. It has easy access parking and is walking distance to some nice snorkeling spots.

Grwat new renovated bathrooms, across the street from great beach access, close to shopping and chickens. I love chickens and I want to go over and buy fresh eggs from next door. Great pool with bbq pits, going to make steak tonight! Love this place! Great golf course if you like that kind of thing next door. Perfect size kitchen to make meals, they even have a pineapple corer!

The hotel staff was great and the room was pretty nice for the price. I had read some online reviews complaining of the noisy roosters in the morning, which didn't bother me until I found out why they were so loud. The residence next to the hotel encourages their roosters to fight and even though they have large privacy fences, I was able to witness the horrible fighting and mistreatment of the animals. I'm not sure why the hotel wouldn't try and stop this, especially if they want business.

The Gardens at West Maui aren't anything special. We had a great second floor room overlooking the golf course which was peaceful. Being a timeshare, there wasn't all of the hustle and bustle that you get at a hotel which I enjoyed. It was like staying at our second home where it was nice and quiet. There are roosters next door and you will hear them. The pro's to that are that they will get you up nice and early so that you don't waste your vacation sleeping. The downside is that you can't sleep in unless you are a deep sleeper. We found that if you closed the bathroom door, and turned the A/C fan on (instead of Auto) that we didn't hear the roosters anymore. It is close to a great beach where you can swim with the sea turtles! We did that twice while we were there. Also, just up the road to the north, is Honolua beach where other tourists pay hundreds of dollars to snorkel but you can drive there in a few minutes and park on the side of the road and hike down to the rocky beach and snorkel for free! But we enjoyed snorkeling across from the timeshare in Napili bay. Just a pretty and guaranteed sea turtles! The front desk was very helpful and accomodating and the lei making, hula dance lessons, and bracelet making were very fun and we recommend you get involved! All in all, we would stay there again! It is a great location and we heard from others that the Napili bay area had the best beach on the island.
