It was fine. The AC cooled the room pretty quickly. The furniture including the TV we're pretty old and a train can be heard nearby.

Stayed June 1st-June 4th 2018. Staff was friendly and nice. When I asked housekeeping for clean towels, they were polite and prompt. Room was clean, Queen Bed had a pillow top mattress, bathroom was clean, refridgerator and TV worked though a bit old. They are in the process of replacing the tv's with new ones. Wyfi was good. The train tracks are close, although I didn't hear it after 1130pm. No one hanging around outside like at some of the other ones. This Motel was a whole lot better then my Grandsons and his cost more. I will stay here again. Oh, breakfast was fruit, cereal, toast n jelly, orange juice, coffee. Resturants close by. If it's so important to you to have shampoo, conditioner, etc. Go stay at a $125.00 motel. This is a Budget motel and a nice one.

Called to ask a question, was told it was a stupid question and in broken English that the ever so pleasant woman who answered had "no time for stupid questions. " Wouldn't even stop here for an emergency bathroom break. Work on your customer service skills, that was a pretty large booking you just hung up on.

I'd say it's great for the price, and you can count on the owner to keep you vehicle safe and everything else. His is very alert, and does not like anyone using dope in his motel. And I say that to say this, I here a bunch of people complain about furniture and stuff like that, if the guest would treat the motel belongings with respect furniture wouldn't be in bad shape. The Owners are very nice people.

In the time of need they provided good service so 5 stars from me.

Awful awful service. We are immediate family to a victim of a house fire that was placed in this hotel by red Cross. We called to reach those that were placed their and the front desk was rude and unwilling to help us, even deliver a message. We are trying to reunite family after a horrific accident. How awful of this company. Treat people with respect.

Call to check on prices to see how much rooms were she was very rude and hung up and saying that there was no rooms available poor service.

Most rude person I have had the unfortunate experience to talk to.

Need a lil ethnic cleansing. Also. Better service such as breakfast an coffee.

This is the worst place I have stayed in years. First their online reservations are pointless, when I come in to get my room after setting it up, they charge me extra; only give me one bed when I asked for two. They also didn’t ask me if I needed a smoking room and they also didn’t tell me the room I was given wasn’t a smoking room, therefore they changed me an extra $150 to get back into the room. The toilet didn’t flush properly and the TV made a god awful ringing noise every time it was on. The Staff, more specifically the older lady at the front desk was completely unprofessional, and had an attitude the whole time we communicate.

Well if you expect breakfast in your bed tbis is not for you I have try many of the motels near around abd this is the best cheap motel I have found. This a 60 dllrs night motel alot of people act lije they expend 500 dollars per nigrh. Lol.

Was working in town and I put on my boots to go to work, accidentally left my shoes there… I called and they couldn't find them… the house keepers must have decided to keep them for themselves and now I'm out a 80 dollar pair of shoes…

Basic lodging. Small room, small TV, small pool. The lady at the front desk gets compliments from me, (4 stars, instead of just 3), for handling a belligerent man in line in front of me with respect, even though he was rude and bullying. Breakfast is just cereal and toast.

Rooms were clean but in kind of a sketchy place. We came back to our door unlocked (That we had made sue to lock). Twice. Definitely wouldn't leave stuff unattended.

Clean enough gruff not so nice owners but very nice maybe service girls.

Worst and filthiest place ever. No breakfast or even coffee. Rude people. Asked for refund got a no. The ground is cleaner. Wish this had a negative star. Sleep in your car before you waste your money. Pictures are stolen just like the bars of soap from Motel 6. Also, they view Americans as a cancer. They need to be deported.

What a bunch of stinky curry eating criminals. Absolutely terrible service. Don't waste your money. Find another place to stay. Asked for money back at desk and got a no. Seriously, just get a motel 6. If there was a negative rating id be putting it here.

Made reservation 2 days in advance. Called the morning of res and ask them to make sure that the air-conditioner was turned on and make sure the fridge was plugged in. It was 100 degrees outside. They did neither. Room had no Wi-Fi access, it was very small, the bed was very bad and the TV had about 12 channels. The air-conditioner put out lukecold air and the fridge was a piece of junk. On top of that, the front desk people were not very friendly. I got a refund and went to the Sun Country Inn where things were 180 degrees different. Find another place than the Budget Inn because you get what you pay for!

Never in my life have I EVER dealt with a nastier, rude, and unprofessional desk lady. It was absolutely appaulling. I will gladly drive another 2 hours to a different hotel to avoid this cess pool, not a dime of my money will be profiting these people whatsoever. Management really needs to reconsider who they're representing here.

Worst place ever. Made a reservation online they wouldn't honor that price. Rooms are tiny and stink. Ended up leaving and getting my money back.

The man in charge is very conscientious of who is on the property. He monitors the premises by camera and confronts people who don't belong (we nicknamed him "bulldog"). The room was clean. We thoroughly checked for bedbugs and found none. It's dated but that's what you expect when you only have to pay $70 for 2 adults and a dog. We will definitely stay here any time we are in Yakima.

Very friendly people. And the rooms are affordable clean and comfy the continental breakfast is extroidnary with fresh raisen bread cereal milk fruit and. Tada! Fresh squeezed orange juice. I fell very at home here.

Older facility, clean, inexpensive, well located, lots of parking and I felt safe. The refrigerator needs to be replaced, and no microwave in the rooms, but one is available in the lobby, but a small table and chairs. Luxury it is not, but the management is friendly enough, and they accept dogs. I will gladly return. The rates don't change as demand does, which is really nice. And it's only about a mile from the hwy.

I have to admit it is clean, and a safe place to stay. I do have to day the room very small.

I honestly can't give a review on how the hotel stay was cause I was just calling around for a friend to stay while he was in the area for work. I called this hotel several times during the work day with no answer. When I finally got someone on the line it was not good. The woman was extremely rude, she seemed annoyed that someone would actually inquire about the room rates at the hotel where she is answering the phone. She quickly gave me the rates and I was gonna ask her for the amenities of the room and she hung up. I was calling from my cell phone, so my first thought was that I dropped the call. But that was so not the case. So, I called back and I let her know that I had just spoken to her and I had a few more questions about the room and she said "How many times do I have to explain. " After that comment I told her " there is not need to be rude, I just wanted to find out what the amenities were for the room. " She hung up. I decided that I would not call back. I did let my friend know the room rates, which are great. Not sure what the hotel offers as far as amenities go, but that's a conversation he is gonna have with them if he decides to stay there. I just wanted to share my experience. I've always worked in customer service at some capacity and I know there are days when you just don't feel like being at work and dealing with others, but that is not excuse to treat people horribly.

I stayed in two of their rooms had bed bugs in each, bathrooms were dirty, owners were snoopy and would come in my room while I was gone even with the privacy sign on the door. Bad neighborhood, very noisy, breakfast was barely anything can't believe this place is allowed to stay open.

I'm writing this because this place needs a more recent review, assuming you've read or will read the older negative reviews. Either the business has significantly improved in the past year or two, or the bad reviews came from higher maintenance types who want way more than they paid for (probably a mix of both). Anyway, I have stayed here on two separate occassions, a week each time. I paid everything up front with a card, $250 for a whole week. There were no extra charges or deposits either time. I even forgot to check out the first week I was there and came back 8 hours after checkout, and they simply cleaned my room, didn't move any of my things, and asked me to pay for the extra night at the same rate, no penalties. The housekeeping staff is exceptionally polite, though they do operate a bit differently. They come by around 10am to ask what you need or go in and check if you're away, taking garbage, dirty towels, etc. They come back in the afternoon to take care of whatever you need or requested, so just don't wait until the last minute to ask for something. The bed does not always get made if you don't ask, but the way I see it, this prevents bed bugs (and they will make it if you ask). The front desk staff is all polite as well, currently a couple who I believe manage the place as well. There were no safety concerns or prostitutes, by the way, even though the area of town is sketchy (depending on where you're from).

Im staying in 212 rigth now,, ppl at the front desk are rude,,, housekeeper wont clean the room even if you aske them a billion of times,, not even if you complain at the front desk,, they would just drop the towels and not even try to get the garbage out of the room,, bad cleaning skills,, I would of not give not even one star.

If there was a '0' I would have put that. Very rude people working there. Told us it was a certain amount (we had cash and told them so). When we got there they told us that we had to put down a $50 deposit — which we did not know or have with us. We ended up having to use a back up card for the whole amount with deposit which she assured us would be given back. VERY uncomfortable beds/pillows, basically worst night ever. A week later I check my billing and I was charged the WHOLE THING and DEPOSIT. Worst room ever at $112.29 a night — I don't think so. So now, I have to deal with trying to get my $50 back when I live 3 hours away. Really.

Room had a bad smell neighborhood wasnt safe staff is very rude and the rooms are very out dated.

This place needs to be torn down. Stained floors, afraid to ask. Bedding so old would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. First motel 6 I've stayed at in 15 yrs, now I remember why I quit staying at motel 6. Prostitute used room next to ours. OMG, made me wonder about who used our room last. I'm embarrassed to even admit I stayed here.

Bathroom not clean! They need to fire Ashley she ovioisly can't clean. We even got a different room &it was the same way. Same person cleaned it.

It's one of the most expensive hotels on the Yakima N 1st Strip. While they sometimes offer a night security guard, they use the same security guard in the morning to with-hold your security deposit from you. Pay with credit card to give yourself some defensive options. My room smelled lightly of mold. The phone was broken, though the radiator was good and the hot water was good.
