Great budget location for staying near downtown in this area. Good rate, free breakfast and coffee. Rooms were not spectacular or fancy, but nothing was wrong or dirty. Slept great, but there is some noise from surrounding roads. Convenient walking to many places.

It's okay. Bathroom sink was still dirty. The shower could use a little more water pressure. The bed is not too hard, thankfully. Clean bedding. Was suprised they provide rubber mats for the shower.

It was very nicely kept, good friendly staff. Everything was clean and we had a decent view of the city. The street getting there it's pretty busy at rush hour, but didn't cause too much problem. Close enough to downtown to do anything. Would stay again for sure.

It's fine, a bit run down, but clean. Nice location for walking into downtown Portland without paying an arm and a leg. They have free parking, but it's kind of hard to get into because of traffic and the road layout around them. No amenities to speak of, but they do offer a free continental breakfast (cereal, fruit, pastries, beverages).

I loved it there. I the room was cheery and very clean. Staff was great. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs and the food is good. I will go back again.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stayed at this hotel. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, friendly office staff and nice continental breakfast. It's right downtown so a little noisy but a convenient location. I'll be staying there again on my next trip to Portland.

Not far from OHSU (even though I took a wrong turn). The front desk agent was very sweet and helpful. I lost my receipt and had to call back for it, he was very kind and emailed it to me. The beds were very comfy! I also asked him what brand beds they have, they are Beauty Rest. ☺️ I will definitely stay here again for future trips to Portland.

The rooms here have plenty of room and are clean, but a bit old. It is well located, and you can walk a few minutes to the city centre. The hotel is in a noisy corner, you should wear earplugs.

We had an appointment at OHSU and decided to try a hotel close by the hospital instead of our usual haunts. I read a couple of reviews and wasn't sure if we should stay or cancel. Decided to try it. What a pleasant surprise! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Lamps on both sides for reading. Heat worked just fine. TV was a newer flat screen so we could watch the NCAA games. Bathroom clean and larger than some of the nicer hotels. There was some street noise from the traffic in the morning. The breakfast was adequate with apples, bananas, choices of cereal, fresh muffins, milk, and juices. All in all a good experience for a lot less money than the high priced hotels in Portland. It wasn't the Ritz but it was good value for us.

Nice downtown hotel. Very good deal for the price. Breakfast is a little sparce and you have to eat it in your room. Rooms are comfortable but request a room that is not over the bar downstairs, unless you like bad karaoke.

It was a comfortable stay, it was such a great place to stay in and out of the cold pacific northwest weather. Great location of you are going to be doing anything downtown.

Middle of the line, basic place to crash for a night. 2.5 stars is more accurate. Probably wouldn't spend more than 1 night. Decently clean, but not overly welcoming or exceptional in any way. Best as a cheap, sufficient, but last resort place to sleep without. No complaints for the price!

I booked not knowing what hotel I was going to be assigned to. When I heard Travelodge I inwardly groaned. But when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and tidy and there was even more breakfast then just day-old Donuts. Great value for being close to the hospital.

Ok booked it online without knowledge of the location etc. Not entirely happy with the location to speak of but it's kinda close to everything so it's fine after all. Seriously there is a bar next to the property which is loud as f. Karaoke all night tell 2:30am it doesn't stop all night loud as if your there. The smoking area outside furthers the noise level it's all night. The staff are fairly nice the morning guy the better off the two the rooms are older ran down without much put into the business it doesn't matter people still fill this place up. Cheap and fairly comfy would recommend just not highly. 2.5 really.

The location was just out of downtown, I could walk to Portland State University and it's group of food areas including food trucks. Rooms were decent with a microwave and mini fridge. And the lobby reception were great, very friendly.

Easy to miss the entrance but easy to get back to just don't try it in rush hour traffic. Use Uber to get around town and it works great. Beds are comfortable but doors have a big gap so make sure you engage the locks. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Great place if you are spending time visiting the hospitals. Short travel time to the medical facilities. OHSU, Casey's eye Institute, Veterans hospital, Doernbechers children hospital. Travelodge, very friendly helpful staff, reasonable room rates, clean. A little noisy on the north side, due to the traffic, but doable. Sukis bar and grill is downstairs and very good food.

Spacious, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Free parking, Wi-Fi and a fairly decent breakfast. The location is great in a very walkable area and easily accessible by both car and transit. It definitely is not the newest of hotels, but it is well maintained and really good value overall. We've stayed here a number of times now and will definitely be back.

Not even a cheap place, noisy with all, delicate noises from neighbors rooms that they could have been in your own room. Clearly the w-rat I ever stayed!

For the price the room was great sized. The bed was comfortable and the patio was relaxing. Brekfast was decent and staff great.

Overpriced, noisy, crappy parking. Manager was both uninterested in being helpful by changing my reservation by a day and rude to me on the phone. The guy also went so far as to lie about how booked up they were to make himself seem more sympathetic when he told me I would have to pay for a night I wasn't going to be there, even if I booked for the next night. You can do better, probably for less money, probably from somewhere that likes repeat business.

Rooms are kind of small and amenities and location could be better. The breakfast is fine though, parking is free for guests, and there's food in walking distance.

Convenient location, nice customer service and a affordable price. This is no luxury spot, but the rooms (albeit dated) were clean and functional. I had some flies in my room when I booked in, but after exterminating them it was insect free. The breakfast by Norwegian standards were pretty unhealthy. A great place price considered.

Location is decent but still a bit away from downtown Portland. Rooms were clean and functional. AC worked fine and the bed was clean. Overall a great budget lodging but wish the location was a bit less awkward to navigate to and from.

Close to downtown. We stayed in room 40 it was really clean and the bed was so comfortable. The guy at the front even came as soon as I called to help with the shower. There is a bar and grill underneath which is a plus. This will be put on the list of my places to stay when I'm here.

It's right off the 405, 2 entrances into the parking lot. The room is simple but all you really need. You get what you're paying for. I enjoyed my stay. The water pressure was lower than I liked but I would stay there again. It's in a good location from downtown.

Had a great stay here. The front desk staff were super helpful, the room was good and clean. Breakfast (cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, coffee/tea) in the morning was appreciated! Would 100% stay here again!

The positive is that the hotel is near OSHU and walking distance to downtown Portland. The room reeked of chemical room freshener. The air conditioner is very noisy, almost noisy enough to drown out the traffic noise. The shower faucet is bolted so that only tepid water is available for a shower. The shower head gives new meaning to low flow. The caulking in the tub was cracked and looked moldy. No reading lights, just tiny bedside lamps and a weak overhead light that amplified the chipping paint on the walls. The rooms seem expensive for the lack of ambiance.

Rooms are old and dingy. Building needs to be updated. Not the greatest location even though it's fairly close to downtown. Descent cheap option for a short stay.

This hotel is located in the edge of the downtown area, right on a busy road. You can hear traffic noise at all hours. The rooms are decent size but a but dated. I was initially paved in a room directly over a restaurant and karaoke bar. The sounds really picked up about the time I was ready to sleep. I approached the front desk about the noise and they were able to move me to a different room. The breakfast offering was not out when I was done getting ready but there was coffee. I feel like the two star rating is maybe am over rating and would not select this location again.

This clearly a budget hotel and not a place to hang out in, but the staff are so helpful and friendly and its all about location. A great budget hotel within walking distance to downtown and public transportation to downtown if you don't like walking. Downtown Portland is amazing.

This place is trash from the rooms to the management to the breakfast (which consisted of mini muffins, expired bananas and off-brand cereal). My buddy and I showed up on Friday night at 10:30pm, we drove about 4 hours from Medford for my friend's bachelor party and prior to leaving, I called them and confirmed our stay and was told everything was all set so we headed up there. We're good right? Wrong. When we arrived, the manager (an Asian woman — for reference when you get there) told me, Oh sorry your card "didn't work" and you didn't get the room, but we have other rooms (For $120 more). First of all, my card was already charged and I used it several times on the drive up, so that's bs. Second of all, when I asked them to honor the price that was CONFIRMED with me via Priceline, they told me they couldn't do that (even though they were going to do that before? Okay cool. Makes sense. ) She even said "you should have called 'them' and figured this out". Called who? And why would I, it was already confirmed that I was set. At this point frustration was at an all-time high. After going back and forth with her about this horrible service, she gave me a number to call to make things right. The number didn't work for me so she then "wanted to try it". I knew it wouldn't work for her either, and it didn't. She spent about 15 mins sitting on the phone saying and doing nothing, so I knew she was stalling trying to think of something she can do.

Big room the building is a little old small breakfast but good service very limited parking.

Excellent budget-minded place inside the city. Super clean room, front desk staff super helpful and accommodating when we needed to extend our stay. This motel does not charge extra for parking like others in area. Only negative was the water pressure was weak in the shower.

I stayed here four nights. Nice rooms and near MAX stations. Their Wi-Fi is lousy, poor signal strength!

The best employee there is Richard! I was there for just only one night in july 2014.

Clean rooms, friendly environment, some flaws but great service.

Everyone was very nice and welcoming. It is in a great location. Very close to OHSU and many other places. Very clean for the most part.

The location of the hotel was not near the downtown shopping area but it was the best valued. The room was clean and tidy. The only issue I had was the shower faucet, it was not immediate clear how to turn on the shower head for water. You have to pull the "nose" of the bottom faucet to turn on the shower head. Overall, it was a clean and decent stay.

Room was good with all required facility.

Great staff helpful at anything you need. Yes the bar downstairs it's a bar, my five year old feel asleep faster being right above the bar. Overall was great and was fleet week rose festival.

Only good thing about this place was the cost. Hotel is extremely dated, rooms smelled musty, area seems unsafe. Don't ever stay here on a Friday night! There is a bar in the hotel so you are unable to sleep. I called to see if they could do anything for me since I had an 11 hour drive the next morning and all they offered me was a set of ear plugs and to not worry it will be over by 2:30. Never staying here again or recommending it!
