Great American coffee and very kind gentleman who served me.

Stuff warm and really very nice, place neat and clean. I asked to borrow an umbrella at the reception in a heavy raining morning, that reception lady just handed on me her own umbrella, really touch.

At the beginning of Venice, cheap. Nice!

Surrounded by some bars, the Domus is a corner on a small clearing and is close to the canals. It appears rustic but not decadent and the entrance is easy to find.

Nice staff Recommended!

They had almost No food, just spaghetti.

Very clean. Excellent Wi-Fi connection and hot water (which is kinda hard to find for this price). It’s very affordable and the location it’s ok. Not the best but you can get there easily. The personal it’s polite and they speak more than just English or Italian which is a plus. Going back someday.

Scuola di San Rocco, works by Tintoretto, a breath of art, excellent guided tour.

The hostel is in an excellent location, in my experience the staff were very friendly, and we were able to use the room before the set time, as well as leave the luggage after check out. The place has a kitchen which is an excellent option to not spend on restaurants.

Dissatisfied, I expected anything but I was disappointed by the situation in which I was immersed, too much attention to particulisms and rather little to the true plurisensorial experience of the individual subject to the landscape influence of the traveling work. Venice-Mestre The South curve loves you all week I just think of you.

I go every summer weary down and I get tired of it. Staff welcoming smiling friendly and available. Close to any convenience. Terrace with a beautiful view.

Super well placed in the center of Venice next to the station common bathroom and toilet own common room and terrace at the top very nice! Only defect: must return before midnight 30

Friendly staff and excellent location in Venice. I left my wallet behind and they found it and even organised postage to return it to me. Awesome service!

Great room for a great price. We had a balcony overlooking a cool street. The noise was annoying due to the windows needing to be open. I would recommend it for price minded travelers.

The Hostel is well located, the downside is that they have arrival time which is up to 12:30 AM and that takes away all the value.

Good location, only a short walk from the train station. Basic accommodation but good price, staff friendly. Nice balcony to chill out on.

Good hostel in a very good position within walking distance from the train station. As a solo traveler, it was a good compromise. Basic simple room with a sink, french bed and no A/C. I am not a fan of air conditioning so it was not a problem for me even at 30 degrees. Remember it Is a hostel, it must be valuated keeping that in mind.
They provide the guests with towels but I brought it from home.
Overall a positive experience.

Beautiful place at the heart of the city.

Pretty dirty bathrooms and many furnitures are broken or Close to it. The wardrobe already molded and was just gross. But the nights were great to sleep and the terrace is great to relax a Little bit before you go to sleep. For sleeping alone it's okay but if you want a bit of comfort, you should look for some place else. :)

Great place to sleep if you're not looking for nightlife as the hostel is inaccessible between 00:30 to 7:00 am. If you have struggle to sleep when it's hot. You should not book there because there is no AC unit and during summer it can be hot.

Excellent value for money and great location.

The only bad thing about the hostel is that you are not allowed to enter in the hostel after 00:30. That's just crazy.

Kind staff, good location, clean and working Wi-Fi.

Definitely a good option for backpackers. The employers are kind but the rule of doesn't let you enter after 12:00 it's a drag but a the end it's accessible walking from the Main Station of Santa Lucia.

Great location, they have a fridge okay Wi-Fi it's sometimes slow during hours a lot of people use it, great rooms and even a microwave and fridge. I don't recommend though if you need to set up leaving early it was slightly difficult although I suppose it can be done.

The Domus Civica is the ideal base for those travelling alone and cornered in Venice.
For the price, it's a great deal.

Room is ok. Old facilities, there is no shared kitchen. Only good for one night stay.

No cooler or fan during summer, 27c now, no tv, no fridge, so hot. Could not sleep.

The Domus Civica also known as Home of the student is in summer (June to September) a great place for you to stay in Venice during the summer holidays or for business purposes. Located close to the station (10 minutes) and attached to Piazzale Roma (3 minutes) is located in a strategic position.
