Came for a short visit on November 15-16th, our room (135) was interestingly decorated with ikea style furnishing, though small it was cozy. My fiance an I are in the upper 20s and tend to like nifty hotel like this, c'mon, the Dug Fir lounge is literally attached to it and we could literally walk there in our jammies to get a drink. Super fun and alive if you ask us. A quick call to the front desk revealed that there is parking under the hotel and it will cost an additional 10$ per night, which is pretty good considering some place charges 40 bucks for valet. The front desk staff we encounter during our stay was knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly, it's like they're filled with love. Now, We Stayed in room 135 which had a unique quirk where it made us snuggle both nights — — it was awesome, we grew closer as a couple because of this. That said, be forewarn that the only climate control we had in that room was to set the Air Conditioner to blow COLD or EXTREMELY cold air, there isn't even a heating control knob on the window unit. On our last night there, there were a lot of banging and sound of metal on metal when we turn in at around 10PM. Naturally, we thought the staff were working on something in the open courtyard (the staff we saw were always working) or Doug Fir were loading things. But this lasted through out the night, loud random banging noises that traveled throughout the hotel, we could even hear the couple above us arguing about whether they should just leave or not. My conclusion is that a part of the covering above the open courtyard had came apart, and is being blown by the wind banging on to whatever metal structure that was close by. This happened through out the night, we woke up a bit tired and irritated, my ears were filled with toilet papers. tl;dr +Friendly Staff, +Clean room, +Great shower, +comfy bed +Parking ($10/night) +Doug Fir -Extremely thin walls, -No heater in room 135 -No heater in room 135 -Thin walls Decent only if you could stand its quirks.
