So very special. Can here for our 25th wedding anniversary. The room was amazing and they even had a welcome note and candy. Bed super comfortable and everything so clean.

We loved our stay at Majestic Inn.
So relaxing!
It was just what we needed after several days in parks and wilderness.
And we can’t say enough about watching the sun set while enjoying food and drinks on the rooftop. Beautiful!

This was my second time here. The Mother's Day brunch was amazing and the dining room was beautiful along with great service. Can't wait to return again.

We enjoyed our stay with a lovely view of town and the sound! The room was so nicely designed and staff at the front desk were very friendly. We had a negative couple interactions with the main bar bartender and decided not to stay for a drink but the manager offered to buy us breakfast to make it up to us and it was absolutely delicious in a beautiful setting (5th St Bistro inside the Inn)! Thank you for a wonderful relaxing time celebrating our anniversary!

Highly recommend this hotel as the staff are perfect New Year’s Day angels and granted our wish. Creeps that my husband and I are, in the ‘special requests’ section of our reservation we requested “A framed photo of Keanu Reeves, if you please. ” thinking these just get ignored. It was not ignored. We were gifted with Keanu’s perfect face for the entirety of our stay. Good vibes all over this place. Photos for your pleasure and reference.

Social distancing and disposable utensils make it safe. Great Sliders. Drinks are tiny though. The amazing view is worth it.

The balcony door was whirring with the wind all night because they didn’t have weather stripping on the balcony door and we barely slept. I know it wasn’t just our room as when I went downstairs in the morning to get coffee, an elderly lady was telling the front desk how she barely slept for the same reason. We had to be up early to catch the ferry to Sidney, B. C. I was really looking forward to showering at 5:50am only to discover that we were in a handicapped room. I hadn’t noticed it the night before because… why would I? And why would they put us in a handicapped room when I said nothing about that when reserving? My wife ordered the extremely overpriced Bibb salad which was basically iceberg lettuce. The staff was kind but the room and food was an absolute disappointment! We will never stay there again.

Very unimpressed. The staff was very rude, non-helpful, and all had a piss poor attitude. The only friendly staff I encountered were the hotel maids and the very early morning resturant staff. The maid service; however, was awful. We eventually just had to go get supplies off the cart ourselves since 9 hours later and the room still was not clean was unacceptable. The beds and pillows were AWFUL! I did not sleep well, if at all, my entire trip. I think I would have had better luck on a piece of wood and a rock. We asked for different pillows multiple times, which were never delivered or given to us.
I added on a romance package to celebrate my anniversary and it was missing two of the things listed in the package deal. It is also so noisy! No matter what time of night or day I can continually hear doors slamming and people speaking. Clearly hearing people's conversations and other things is not very pleasant. They have their own parking lot which is a perk; however, it was always so full and with people double and triple parked that we were unable to find a spot. When asking the concierge if they had additional parking, she (chianne) had a very snarky attitude and said it was not her problem that a party was being held and non Guests can park there if they pleased.
Very overpriced for a very unsatisfactory stay. I am very disappointed to have spent the amount of money I did to be this unsatisfied with my stay. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Third time we’ve stayed there; first two times were great, third time was a bust. Poor attitude from some, not all, of the various employees; super stiff bath towels (old), dangerous shower situation from standing in the tub, (bathmat would be a simple way to avoid an accident), no way to remove the grounds from the press pot when making more, except with your hands, rude bartender and more. I will say the room was clean and the bed was great. The prices are high and
they didn’t support the experience this time. Sad.

I loved the room and spa. The view from the top of the new building is fantastic. I gave it a four because the couch in the room was super lumpy. Otherwise I really enjoyed the place.

Enjoyed a wedding reception in their rooftop ar sunset. It was absolutely gorgeous. The food was delightful and the staff working our reception were incredible. Thank you for making the bride and grooms night perfect!

I accidentally left a four star rating previously. Majestic Inn is 5 stars and more. We enjoyed libations at the rooftop bar. Amazing service, drinks, and view. GREAT TIME! My apologies for the accidental 4 star. You earned much better!

My wife and I stayed at the Historical Building, in the majestic suite. It was gorgeous! Everything was so unique, simple, and majestic. We loved it! Had a wonderful stay! It was really worth it! The room had a jacuzzi and one of those big standing showers. Bed was really comfortable. The view outside was mesmerizing. The staff was helpful and amazing. Next time we will be traveling back around October, will definitely stay at this hotel again!

I went to the roof top to enjoy a beautiful night with family & friends. It was so wonderful. Everyone had a great time and stayed for hours enjoying the drinks. The drinks were professionally done and customer service was excellent. Prompt and friendly. The views are also very pretty and something special. It's also notable that it was warm, despite a cool breezy day, because there are fires in the middle of the group of couches and tables, set in stone pretty display of shiny rocks.

Very nice corner space. Quiet except when people walk by the door. A personal spacious deck off the room with a view of the water on three sides. Beautiful. Fresh ground coffee for the French press. Only rebuff is we needed extra towels due to the 2 person tub. Very nice.

Beautiful! And the staff is wonderful! I forgot to pack a coat! They found a coat for me to borrow until I could buy one.

Fun hotel. This year we stayed in the older part! BEAUTIFUL. Friendly staff. Cldan and well appointed. BEST LOCATION in the old part of town. Really, you should stay here. Everytimg you could want within walming distance!

My fiancee and I happened to come by the majestic a few months ago after we had spent a longer than anticipated day in the San Juan Islands looking at wedding venues. With it being just past 10pm, we had to make a decision of whether to push through and make the 4 hour drive home that night, or find a place to stay the night. Figuring we could kill two birds with one stone, we decided to check out the majestic as both a possible venue as well as a place to stay. It ended up being one of the best decisions we made. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant, and were additionally sympathetic to our situation of having a long drive ahead. Thus, they were willing to work around our budget a bit, offered us some cold drinks, and got us a beautiful room in their second building. The next morning, the new staff members were equally helpful as they helped guide us towards beautiful spots for pictures in the area and places to eat. As for the room itself — it was a nice, clean setting. The beds aren't the most comfortable beds we've been in, but certainly not the worst either. Essentially, I'd give them a 4/5 on the beds as they still allowed for a good nights sleep. Location-wise, the Majestic provides for an opportunity to travel back in time. The Majestic as well as its surrounding buildings feel like the historic district, yet you are in the heart of Anacortes' downtown and just a walk away from the waterfront.

Perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. We were greeted with genuineness and care. Our room was in close proximity to everything we needed. We love to travel and have been many many hotels in our lives. When booking with other hotels we’ve only been charged $10, or $20 at most for our pet stay. This hotel charged $50 for my dogs to stay with us really gave us a shock. Yes, I did not check very detail when I booked the hotel. That is really a big lesson for me. Additionally my husband caught the flu during our stay. He had slept poorly throughout the night due to the loud parties outside and wasn’t feeling well. The beds and pillows were too soft that we could sleep well. We woke up a couple times during the night. I called the front desk at 9:30am hoping to check out at 1 PM instead of 12 to let him try and rest some more before we took off. My husband told me that he felt headache and dizzy. However, we were informed that we would be charged an additional fifty dollars ($50) if we moved check out times. Most hotels we’ve stayed before are sympathetic and would allow for a later check out time at no extra cost. That was our first time be treated so hard. About 11:00 am, the staff called us to make sure whether we will check out later than 12:00 pm. Looked like they were too greedy to get extra charge. It didn’t help that, upon us leaving, we found that there was no housekeeping staff on our floor. I ordered a breakfast for my kid. The menu showed it was $12.99, but the bill brought up was over $20. The food was so so and small portion. The room price: $231.35, pet $50 (not including tax).

Almost 1 year ago we had our wedding reception in the Garden room. Upon making our anniversary reservations I realized that I had not written a review. The entire staff totally knocked this event out of the park. We worked very closely with the chef in designing every part of the menu. Every single detail about the food was beyond perfect. Jessica made our stay there so comfortable for not only us but our guests that stayed overnight. Even though we live a few blocks away we continue to stay there, in the same room, as a home away from home. We always feel welcome and appreciate how clean the entire property is. Bottom line, come to Anacortes and stay at the Majestic!

Their Thanksgiving special dinner was outrageously over priced and low quality.

This is a very nice place. When you check in, they grind your coffee and put it in little sacks for your French Press coffee makers. The room was spotless. The staff was excellent. We did book a small room but we know that going in. This is a historic building so it is unique. Radiators in the room (but we seemed to have heat without turning it on. ) Tall, tall ceilings. Shutters on the tall windows. Small but nice bathroom. Artwork nice. It happened to be a very cold snap in Washington and our room was warm and toasty. We heard/read some negative reviews but we did not experience that. The only negative I saw was that the TV did not get all the channels I am used to getting but I am OK with that (we are supposed to be enjoying the environment, not watching TV but alas, my husband seemed to find all the football channels intact and able to receive. Great views as the sun slowly leaves its golden rays over Antacortes… Nice…

The location is ideal in Anacortes, that is the only good thing I can say. We have been here twice and both times experienced the same uncomfortable stay. The beds are very uncomfortable and the bedding is what my 32 year old husband calls the menopause simulator. We go from burning hot to freezing cold all night long. I’d give this place a 1 or 2 because of the discomfort and our inability to actually sleep here. However, I did feel safe in the facility, the rooms are reasonably clean, and the location is ideal for visiting downtown Anacortes.

Walls in old part are paper thin. Otherwise an adorable hotel. Anacortes is such a cute little town on the beautiful Pacific coast. Gorgeous.

Spent a nice quiet evening in a king suite in the new wing of the hotel. We loved the overhead rain shower head and nicely finished bathroom. Very convenient to be able to walk to dinner and breakfast in the morning (we did not eat breakfast in the hotel). We also enjoyed a nice couples massage at the Apothecary Spa and were able to take a slightly later checkout to accommodate our spa appointment.

Beautiful hotel in an amazing city. Management handles concerns really well and our stay was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely experience, though not for the budget-minded, at $200/night. Absolutely beautiful, though, and worth every penny. Great food in the dining room, and a cozy bar for drinks, the best experience on a nice day is to be had on the rooftop bar, with western views to the San Juans as you drink and eat a limited, but delightful selection of items. With the possibility of the San juan Island ferry (try walking on and just exploring Friday Harbor for a few hours) a mere ten minutes across town, this place is a perfect weekend getaway secret!

Can't speak for the inn or spa, but that rooftop… wow! We went up there for sunset while having a couple drinks, it was amazing! If you're wondering, anyone can access the roof, even if you're not staying at the inn overnight. The entrance is in the back which leads you to an elevator. The drinks, while a little pricey, tasted great. Surprisingly, it wasn't too busy the whole time. We had a great seat with a great view. It was a perfect way to end the evening. I would say this is an absolute must do if you're visiting Anacortes!

My husband and I visit Anacortes every year and stay at Majestic. The rooms are clean and beautiful. Thank you Blanca for taking care of our room. We ordered room service (breakfast) Friday morning. Our breakfast was cold when it arrived to the room and I ordered pepper jack cheese on my scrambler and there was no cheese. We would of called the front desk to give the feedback but we had a whale watching tour we needed to get to. The hotel is beautiful and roof top deck but not sure I would spend the money on room service.

We stayed in a deluxe suite with two queen beds in the new building, and it was lovely. We had a nice view of the sunset over the water (just a partial water view over the tops of the buildings in historic downtown). The A/C was great, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was huge! There were a refrigerator, a table with two chairs, a desk with a chair, and a chaise longue in the room, and we were very happy there. My only complaints were that the disabled parking was very limited and the elevator was very slow. That said, we would still happily stay there again!

The rooftop lounge offers a beautiful setting of cushioned couches, fire pits, potted grasses, and strings of lights that were surpassed only by the breathtaking views of the surrounding waters and islands! We can't wait to come back and try out the rooftop menu, grilled right there up top. We enjoyed a Friday evening just the two of us, along with a couple of casual conversations with others who joined us around the flickering fire pit, sipping wine, being cared for by amazing wait staff. We would give this another star if the lounge had stayed open after sunset, utilizing their fire pits, heat lamps and blankets for the chilly northwest evenings. We watched 3 parties of 4 or more arrive just as the sun was dipping, then sadly leave after being graciously told "last call" had already been made.

This was my first stay here. This was the first time I entered the building (s) even though I walked by it at least 1, 000 times. Stop by and check it out. This place is amazing. The building is beautiful, the services are great and the staff is awesome.
This place rivals the best places you have ever wanted to stay at. Stop in, you'll be glad you did.

I've been to the Rooftop Lounge several times and before last night I probably would have given a 4 or 5 star rating. But after our experience yesterday evening I don't think I will be returning. When we ordered our food we were told it was going to take longer than usual because "the kitchen was backed up". We were fine with that since we were in no hurry. However, when I received my food it wasn't even close to what it was supposed to be. I ordered the Smoked Salmon plate, which I get every time we go, but instead of a plate with sliced baguette and salmon, cream cheese and all the other toppings I received what I think might have been a pita with a very small amount of cream cheese and the toppings already on it. Not sure if someone in the kitchen didn't know what they were doing or if they were out of items to make it correctly? I guess I should be happy I got something though… my friend arrived shortly after I did and order the Charcuterie plate. After waiting for her food for almost an hour, the server came over and his exact words to her were "That Charcuterie plate you ordered? Yeah, it isn't happening. " Every business has it's off days, but this was absolutely unacceptable.

The whole place was disorganized. It took an hour to get our food. Nobody greeted us when we got there. We were unclear on how to order so we got in line at the bar. We had waiters arguing over who would wait on us.

I only ate breakfast here. The process are a little higher than other places close by, and the breakfast isn't anything to write home about. I don't think this is one of those places that has a chef on staff. But, with the slightly higher price, you do get a very nice ambiance. This would be great place to go for a special occasion like meeting the future in laws or business.

Rooms are clean, waterfall shower is a huge plus. Staff was friendly and they had fresh ground coffee on request, as much as you can drink which is a big plus if you are a coffee drinker. In house spa, nothing more needed to be said there. Will be returning, worth the money! One of the best things about this place is the location. So many good restaurants and breweries right there. Not far from attractions either!

Great happy hour and excellent fries. Great rotating beer selection. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was beauriful and in a great location for visiting Anacortes. The staff were also very kind. Our only problem was there was no air conditioning and a noisey bar outside when we had the window open. I could also hear everything the visitors said in the adjoining room. It seems like just our room may have had theses problems however.

We are locals who went to the 5th Street bistro for drinks and a bite. We were hoping to sit in the bar/lounge but it was full. They allowed us to sit in the dining room instead, and we had a great few rounds of unqiue cocktails and bites. It's my favorite place for non-meal gatherings, just wish there was more room so I could bring all my friends.

The is a top notch hotel and spa. They have exceptional service, Grand rooms that exude style and class, a very nice attached restaurant and bar. I have not been able use their spa, but plan to in the future. The attached spa tries to accommodate last minute oppointments with great customer service. I highly recommend this wonderful Inn to anyone, near or far!

Very nice accommodations. Fresh ground coffee and a French press in the room. One of a kind. I ended up staying in the new building just adjacent to the historic hotel. The walls are very thin for a modern hotel, neighbors television was much to obvious for comfort. Would definitely stay here again if I miss the ferry headed home.
