Old friends with management from many years ago. Always accommodating and friendly. Our home for 20 years with the Oyster Run. Thanks for a lot of memories.

It was awful! The room reeked of urine, there was tape on the windows holding up the air conditioning hose, the towels were wafer thin and scratchy, the daytime desk person was not friendly at all, the beds were like sleeping on a board, the beds only had sheets and a blanket (no spreads as depicted in online photos), there was not enough parking (not one space available), no outlets by nightstands, power went off during breakfast, limited supplies for several items for breakfast. On the positive side, the night staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the raisin toast at breakfast.

Not great not bad. Room was nothing to be proud of, a bed, a bathroom, and a TV. Clean but worn down. Considering this is a tourist town all prices are inflated, but I have paid less for a better room at a motel 8. The breakfast bar was weak. Boiled eggs, two cereals, and toast. The parfait cups the had could have been good but mine had gone bad and they didn't know.

Clean, and basic. TV, didn't really work that well. Staff was nice and polite. So all in all good place to stay for a night to relax. Thai bamboo right next door was great and yummy.

Stayed here for 2 days in what was advertised as the executive king suite with a jetted tub, and for such a dump of a hotel it cost a lot of money. I'm sorry but the carpet is disgusting and needs to be replaced I didn't even want to take my shoes off. The sheets don't fit the bed kept coming off all night, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, jetted tub was lame, the fridge Froze all our food which put us out money. Continental breakfast sucked the coffee taste like water, the stairs to the second floor are so bad you feel like you're going to fall in as you're walking up them, man I don't know what else I can tell you except this was the worst hotel I ever stayed in 1 Star is extra nice. It's a 50 to 75 a night hotel that they're charging $150 a night for I wouldn't spend my money here again and wish I hadn't booked 2 nights. I'm advising everyone else before you waste your money and have a terrible experience.

Enjoyed staying in Anacortes. Very beautiful location and view from room (214).

Basic no frills 2-star motel. Good location near restaurants, shopping, ferry terminal. Nice pool and view. Good showers, clean place. I would stay again.

Stayed overnight while I was performing Marathon at Deception Pass State Park decent accommodation however the mattress that I had was much too soft and probably should have been replaced the rest of the place was fine and heating was more than accurate. Breakfast wasn't the greatest they had some breakfast parfaits and the first one I took out had mold on it so I tossed it and just ate a bagel.

Clean inexpensive rooms. They have a small fridge and coffee maker in the rooms. They have complimentary breakfast but we didn't try it.

Quiet and cozy. Clean but dated. If your sensitive to smokey smells than not for you as every room has a fireplace.

Tried to cancel our reservation 27 hours in advance, apparently their policy is 48 hours. Our reservation was for Saturday, Friday morning we found out my husband had to fly out to Oklahoma Sunday for work. There was no way we could stay in Anacortes Saturday/Sunday and make it to the airport Sunday. I emailed the hotel asking them to please make an exception and explained our reason. I even offered to send them proof of my husband's flight itinerary. They replied no, they would not cancel. They charged my card $87 for a room we did not stay in. I am absolutely disgusted.

Great place! Affordable and pets are welcome. They have fireplaces in the rooms with a Duroflame you get to use! It’s a far walk to the bars and venues of “downtown” Anacortes, but it wouldn’t be a problem in the summer.

The inn has clearly seen the passage of time. The room had a tired feel to it with some non-functioning light fixtures and poor water pressure. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace was also a very nice feature. Breakfast was standard continental, and the front desk employees were courteous. Good for a functional overnight stay but not so much if you were looking for luxury on vacation.

Great rooms and the people are willing to help you any way they can. Very friendly.

Terrible… Stay away! Go to the anaco Inn next block over… Quite literally 10 times better for the same price! This place is old and dirty… Bad!

I will never go back. The fireplace… A presto log in a standard fireplace with no tools. We lit the fire before discovering the flu was closed and had no way to open it. Spent the night on a 30 year old mattress in a room that has not been updated since 1964 smelling of smoke. All dark woods and browns in the room, very dark and drab. Horrible.

This hotel was one of the nicest hotels ive been to. And though ive pretty much only been to cheap hotels, I would really recomend this one if you are looking for a clean one without any problems :) thats resonably priced.

Wonderful staff the room was older but clean a nice fireplace in centre of room, just a great place to stay we WILL be staying there again.

The Manager should not be the manager or work in the customer service industry. All the other staff is nice, the place cute but old. The heaters dont work most of the time. Very dated and it is clear no funds have been reinvested to include the training of the Manager.

The room I got had a killer freestanding fireplace. Recommended!

Shampoo and conditioner in separate bottles! Need I say more? Our room had a mini fridge and a stand alone fireplace. Sure, its an older hotel but for the price, its right on point. Powerful blowdryer, extra blankets, mini coffee maker.

Pretty disappointed! Room had stains on floor and Had I known our view was of big giant power wires would never have booked, the mini deck off the room does not seem safe! Took my dog out to go to the bathroom and there was garbage everywhere! Dirty alley behind us with garbage and cigarette butts! Dumpy not worth $125

The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing. The rooms are VERY dated and more importantly, unclean. The floors and walls were stained, the light bulbs burned out, the trim falling off. The mattresses were old. I slept in one little corner and didn't move all night. I didn't shower or have coffee in my room due to the uncleanliness. This place needs some serious updating. For $120 per night, I expected a clean room.

It's ok in a pinch. Parking is bad if the hotel is busy, had to park on the street. Lobby is in a weird place with no parking in front of it. Room we stayed in was a double Queen "family style room" which has one bed in a separate room with a Murphy bed in the entry room and a shared bathroom. Lots or storage and the beds where comfy, good heat if you need it which is good because it seemed like there was a lack of blankets. There is a Thai restaurant attached to the lobby with super friendly staff and surprisingly good food.

On Friday night the parking so so crowded we had to park behind the hotel in the alley. Overall, and for the price, the hotel was a 4/5. Guest services was also very kind.

The only place I want to stay at! The breakfast is amazing. Ask for the puff rolls! The rooms are amazing and the staff is always great!

Our room was larger than our home, and included a freestanding fireplace. Staff was very friendly and the price was right. Would certainly stay there again.

I've stayed here many times in the past and have had better than average experiences. I made reservations for tonight and found the proprietor to be extremely rude and condescending. We also had a language barrier that he acted very upset with me about? Bottom line I made reservations elsewhere and cancelled with islands inn. When I tried to explain my frustration he hung up on me. Needless to say I won't be giving them my business any time soon! Anacortes has to many quality establishment's to waste my time and money on this place.

I ate at the new Bamboo Bistro; a Thai and Vietnamese restaurant. The good was fast, fresh and delicious!

Breakfast was supposed to be served at 7 am but they never opened, couldn't reach anyone at the front desk or the after hours number. We were told the night before that breakfast was going to be served and there was no note so we don't think it was closed because of presidents day. I called twice to request a room with a fixed fireplace and not a free standing one, but we were put in a freestanding room. The Wi-Fi in our room was weak. I asked for two keys and noticed today that one of them is to the wrong room! Scary to think who has our second key! The rooms were very old in decor, the spare blanket had a number of holes in it. Only real positive was the bed was comfortable. However, we both woke up all night because the room shook every time someone walked by. I'm surprised this place has such good reviews, I'd recommend finding another place to stay.

Second time we've stayed here. They accept pets and both rooms we had included and king bed and fireplace! Going back for Valentines day ;) their rates are the best in town as well!

Affordable place to stay with a fireplace. Heater in our room didnt work, but we were going to have a fire the whole time so it didn't matter. The room was clean (including the fireplace! ), bed was comfortable with modern bedding, and the staff was friendly… we'll stay here again…

Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The room also had a wood stove and with fire wood in it… Very cozy. The price was very reasonable.

The girl at the front desk was fantastic! The welcome was warm and the lobby is bright and comfortable. The rooms are clean and have flat screen TVs and small refrigerators. The hotel is pet-friendly ($10) and the area feels safe. Be sure to ask for the AAA discount if you can.

This place was great the staff was very friendly, they knew the area. The girl at the front desk was a wealth of information on the trails near by. The room was very clean and had a duroflame log in the fireplace very comfortable a nice touch. Pet friendly.

One night last winter we were looking for a room, it was late and I had just driven to Seatac to pick up my travel weary man. He had basically spent the last 48 hours traveling on a quick trip to California to see his cousin, he was exhausted and coming down with the flu. He is a taxi driver in Bellingham and had spent the week before his trip working long night shifts and picked up a nasty cough from one of his fares. We stopped at the casino thinking we could get a room quickly without much hassle but to our disappointment the staff was not helpful or accommodating at all! We hadn't thought ahead, we had both left our credit cards at home and only had cash (we offered to pay twice the nightly rate for a deposit in cash but the casino wouldn't take it). So we drove into Anacortes and stopped at the first place we saw, Islands Inn. By this time it was 3 am and we could barely keep our eyes open. The owner helped us and without delay she got us our room. We slept like rocks that night and were allowed to sleep in as she extended our check out time too! Now we stay there about once every month or so and won't go anywhere else in town. Thanks.

This place was great! The staff was very friendly, and it was a great balance between a nice bed and breakfast, with the amenity of a well-maintained pool and reasonable prices! Would definitely go back.

Great service! I checked in at 12 a. M. Night lady was super sweet. The room wasn't very big but it did have everything you need and a wood fire place.

Islands Inn's staff raises friendliness to the next level. The room we had was spacious and clean. We ate at the Petite Wine Bar, which I believe is part of the motel and the food was very good. The location makes it easy to access any part of town. I just wish I could have stayed an extra day and enjoyed more of Anacortes! I highly recommend staying at Island's Inn.

We had a great stay. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the staff are very helpful. Breakfast is provided. The desk attendant even kept the food out a little longer for us when we arrived at the end of serving time. There is a small classy wine bar on site. These rooms are excellent value and you definitely get more than you pay for. We will be staying here during our next visit.

Friendly staff, nice old-world feel (actual room key, fireplace). Pet friendly. Nice little extras like botanicals in the room. Great rates. Definitely recommend staying here. Also, crab shack across the street has best clam chowder I've had this side of Boston.
