Great, competent and friendly staff.

I don't recommend this hotel. The air conditioning doesn't work, no service to the rooms, and the outdoor pool is not open.

Nice hotel however I thought it was much closer to the airport
there is a pickup drop off service but would have been nice if the hotel was at the airport terminal.

Awesome place … rooms are so cozy … restaurant and menu on point however… heavy food should be made available not only after 5pm.

We did the park and fly and it worked out great for us. Hotel was nice and clean and was easy to get the shuttle to go to the airport the next morning.

We came into the bar last night to meet a friend that was staying with you. We were going to have a drink in your bar and then go out to a local bar. Your waitress La provided us with such good service that together with her lovely and warm smile, we ended up never leaving and spent our evening in your bar. Thank you La, you were the best!

That Hotel offer the worst service I have ever received.
I arrived at midnight with an booking and voucher from United because I missed my connection flight. They have send me to another hotel without looking detailed on the voucher, after 1 hour I came back and got my room. I didn't receive any single word of sorry or excuse. The next morning they called me twice and wake me up and remind me to come to the front desk to register creditcard. Please try to avoid this hotel if you do not want to make the same expirience.

Awful experience at this hotel. My daughter and I stayed there a week ago because we had a 6:00 a. M. Flight. Foolish me thought being that close to the airport would allow us to get a decent night's sleep. Wrong, very wrong. A Game of Thrones viewing party was held that night and the party continued ALL night. The attendees walked up and down the hallways speaking as if it was the middle of the afternoon and the security guard did absolute nothing to control the noise/crowd. When we left our room at 4:20 a. M. To catch the 4:30 shuttle, the party was still going on in the hallway. With no sleep and 2 flights that day, our first day of vacation was not what it should have been. Will never stay here again.

Great hotel … staff friendly and helpful… super location easy to get from airport … comfy beds great beer and 2 swimming pools … it's a very good Marriott stay!

I was a this facility and had words with their Restaurant manager Chris Mostaghim and his very rude staff. They were very unprofessional and argued with each other in front of customers. I will never use this facility again.

This large international airport is well-marked and easy to get around. You do have to allow plenty of time to change terminals or get to your first terminal because there are several different modes of transport to get around. Baggage claim was efficient, but be aware that if bags aren't coming out your bag might already be on the belt or sitting beside the claim area.

Good airport hotel. Conference rooms nice and catered food was good. Private free breakfast in executive lounge was great but free access for AMEX Platinum card holders ends August 2018. Marriott will miss the AMEX customers.

Stayed here for business. Flight was delayed and missed a connecting flight so this hotel was booked by the airline. Shuttle to and from the hotel was frequent and easily accessable. Got to the hotel a bit before midnight, and front end staff was helpful and informative about the flight assistance and accomodations. Rooms were clean and cool. Nice large windows for natural light to wake you up if you don't need to catch a flight at 6am. Food seems to be served at all hours, was delivered quickly, and was quite good for a late night hotel burger and fries. And of course the Marriott beds are always insanely comfortable and this was no exception, even just 4 hours or so of sleep leaves you feeling rested.

Stayed for one night before a 5:30am flight. Was able to walk to the hotel after dropping of the rental car. The shuttle to the airport wasn't scheduled to start until 4:30am. However upon request they were able to take us at 3:45am.

My family stayed here Saturday July 28th to Sunday the 29th. We were very disappointed in this hotel after staying at the Marriott in Nashville Air port. First we were put in a room that was not clean one of the beds was dirty and the other had empty pillow case on it, also had a pair of glasses left in the room. After requesting another room I had to walk down to the front desk for the new room keys then back up to move my family to the other room and then go all the way back down to return the old keys. And the food was horrible! We ordered the BLT, chicken ceaser salad and a flat bread. The BLT had maybe 2 pieces of uncooked bacon with tons of turkey, the ceaser salad was wet nasty and chicken was dry and tasteless. We ordered the flat bread for our 7 yr old bc that was the only thing that was almost kid friendly. Also upon arriving there were no luggage racks available so we had to unload everything on the side walk. While unloading one of the hotel shuttles pulls up and blocks the drive. My husband waited for him to unload his passengers and luggage thinking he would move but NO he just sat there forcing my husband to back out and almost hit by a rude guy dropping someone off. We were exhausted and hungry from traveling all day and our stay here made out night a millions times worse…

Great location, adjacent to the Dulles International Airport. Hotel is not at it's best condition. Lobby is renovated but the room is just okay. I would rate this hotel 6 in a scale of 10 being the best.

One of the best full service Marriott hotel. The convenient to IAD is great. Shuttle to airport is very very frequent. The restaurant and the Lounge on site are great. Very friendly staff. Convenient to shopping and restaurants in Chantilly, VA. Not to far from DC downtown.

Friendly place. 24 hour restaurant snack bar. Food quite pricy but nothing else in walking dist. Rooms nice, well maintained.

I went to a conference and work event. The lounge was nice and the food delicious. I had a lot of fun.

Rooms where nice staff was nice. Shower could have been better. Nice tv. Rooms where kind of bland. But it was nice experience.

I’ve stayed here twice. Both stays were excellent. Concierge lounge breakfast is quite good. Big TVs in the rooms are a plus. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are in nice shape. Two small drawbacks: 1) low ceiling in the bathroom… I’m 5’9” and I had to duck my head to get under the shower head. 2) wired internet would be nice. Other than that, it’s a fine hotel and one that I’ll stay in again if I’m in the area for an overnighter.

Old exterior makes you think this will be a crappy hotel. But it's modern in the inside. The concierge lounge is lack lost bit they have good bacon in the morning. The hotel is on the airport property.

The bedroom was super clean, and that's what really matters in a hotel. Everyone I met was super attentive and nice. The food in the restaurant/bar was good and breakfast too. Everything is pricey, but to be expected. In true Marriott style, Wi-Fi is free only for rewards members, but with data nowadays, I still don't understand why they don't give free Wi-Fi to everyone. After a really long flight, I had an amazing sleep.

The layout of this hotel is horrible! I was a single female traveling alone on business and they gave me the furthest room from the center. No joke, the room was the last room of the longest wing. Had I been sharing the room with someone, I really wouldn’t have cared. But really?! I brought it to the attention of the front desk but they didn’t offer to fix it. I was however told that at least I got some exercise.

The hotel was nice. The staff was very helpful and the meals provided were good. Breakfast had a little to be desired, but not uncommon from other hotels. The rooms were clean and well air conditioned, and we're cleaned every day of my stay.

Nice rooms, simple. Comfy bed but really fluffy (read: my head sank through them) pillows. A REALLY long walk to some rooms.

Extremely friendly staff, great location next to the airport, clean accommodations. Large rooms, comfortable beds, pool, fitness center, on-site parking, free shuttle that runs to the airport every fifteen minutes. Decent restaurant and bar located in the lobby. The only issue I had with this hotel was that the facility is so large, I kept getting lost on the way to my room and back to the lobby lol.

Ask for a quieter room if you need a good night's sleep. Otherwise super clean with actual good room service. Food was above expectation to boot.

The hotel is a little too spread out. Most rooms are a long walk from the front desk. The restaurant was great though.

I have traveled to 21 countries and around the United States and the Marriott at IAD is one of my favorites. I am at Dulles all the time. It is my home airport. For almost 25 years I have stayed at and visited this hotel. I visit the bar and restaurant there almost on a weekly basis. I highly recommend. Service has been slow and iffy sometimes but all the staff are kind and polite. I highly recommend you try this establishment, even if you don't stay the night. It's in a geat location in sight of Dulles airport. Great views there! I love the location! Stop by te bar and restaurant now!

The room was nice. Staff was great. The hotel is huge, it’s like a maze. While they do have signage everywhere, you’ll get lost I’m sure. They also have an airport shuttle.

Great location to Dulles airport and even Harper's ferry. As always Marriott has great staff and clean rooms. A larger pool and a hot tub would be nice. Slow internet is an issue.

Ufffffff, very excellent experience.

I stayed for one night in a king suite. The room was very well kept and comfortable, no complaints at all there. The rest of the hotel however felt dated — the pool area a bit run down but the exercise room was about average. The concierge lounge was the most disappointing, it's simply a small, dark room right odd the front lobby. The evening snacks were acceptable but felt low quality like a budget hotel. The space has nice seating but is strangely lit. It is however still quiet and comfortable. In addition, the morning breakfast buffet is actually outside the lounge (it's the same buffet for the whole hotel), but those with lounge access simply walk their plates inside. A somewhat odd arrangement, but it was a reasonably good breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc. Not a top end experience but it was still good.

I've stayed here previously and had no issues but the room I received this time for some reason had no T-Mobile service at all. I was switched to another room quickly and thank the front desk for great service in that regard. Otherwise, breakfast is good, location is convenient, and the halls are a bit noisy.

Nice hotel. Small concierge lounge. Rooms are small and mapped out very weird making it hard to find your room. Best to ask and pay attention to the directions!

Hopefully never going back. I was placed next to the stairs/workout room/pool. All night was people screaming, yelling, slamming doors, wasted guys running up and down the hallways wrestling. Pretty upset, because the room I had reserved over a week prior became 'unavailable' as soon as I attempted to check in — they said 'sorry' and gave me the worst room available. If they would have told me I was sleeping in their slums I would have walked out. All four days I attempted to eat breakfast there was nothing left 30 minutes into it — so I didn't eat. Unless you have access to their premium lounge you're going to have to compete with the tourists for food. The location is pretty awful as well, as your forced to get on/off the highway to go anywhere but the airport and if you miss your exit you're in toll roads. There's no side road or access road you can take. The only positive thing I can say is that there's free parking, and an adequate amount.

Very late check-in due to missed flight. Was handled perfectly and front desk was on time for wake up call and room service breakfast before leaving on hotel shut before flight. Will recommend.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly, attentive staff. Directly across from the Airport and shuttles are provided. Staff are knowledgeable and willing to help with connection issues. Only trouble we had was with cell signal. New Verizon & ATT phones had spotty signal inside even near the windows. Had several garbled & dropped calls. Wifi did not improve the connection, so phone calls weren't the best.

We ordered room service for 6 am. At 6:10 the breakfast wasn't there and we called the front desk. At 6:20 am we had to leave because we had a flight. We stopped by a buffet and the toaster didn't work. When we were done with breakfast a waitress gave us a bagel and said they fixed the toaster. Too late. Embarrassing They charge $13 for the internet. Cheap I do not recommend this hotel. Save your time and nerves and stay somewhere else.

Rate: 0/5! This hotel is the absolute worst! We arrived at our room late so didn't have a chance to look around. The next morning we woke up to a swarm of ants near our heads. This is insane! That day while we were gone they came and sprayed our room. Yet, that same night we spotted ants again! after that we took a look around the room and found several items left around the room from previous stays that the staff clearly hadn't cleaned up. Never stay here!

Internet should be free. And the hotel should be less shady. And the air conditioner is not working and it takes to long to get to work. They're bath towels are hard. And get soaked easily. And this is not a joke.

It was a late arrival and early departure but the stay was great. Shuttle ride was short and the lounge breakfast was great if you have that privilege. The late dinner was tasty and service was friendly. Really nothing to complain about. Perhaps get a room away from the main lobby as I heard quite a bit of noise in the morning.

Airport hotel so nothing nearby and restraunt prices are high for value of the food. Rooms are clean and comfortable exactly what you would expect from Marriott brand hotels.

Worst hotel, forget about the name Marriott. Staff was rude, hotel is not even a 2 start hotel. Run down and beat up, first night I was there it was horrible. Bed was straight out of 70's B rated film. People that works there seems very unhappy and just seem outright angry. Never received any receipt for my stay and they just changed my card. Forget about calling them after to get a receipt, they are just rude and just don't want to help you. I felt like I was at a DMV for crying out loud.

Stayed overnight due to a flight issue. Hotel seemed clean. Bed was comfortable. Bar area looked nice. Did not get to spend much time enjoying what the hotel had to offer.

Beds were great, rooms were quiet, and the bathrooms were clean. Location is WONDERFUL and you'd never know you're a stones throw from IAD from the inside.

I stayed at this hotel for some training I was doing for a job. They tried to charge us for breakfast after telling us that it was all inclusive in our package. When I left the hotel I unfortunately left a 110$ German International Soccer jersey in the room… I know I should be more responsible but I know I left it somewhere in the room but I was already on my way back home to another state. I called the hotel letting them know I left an expensive article of clothing in the room and I was told they would call me back when they found it… I've never received a call back…

I was in DC for a quick trip. Checkin was quite fast. My room was clean and well laid out. Breakfast was ready early and delicious. The staff was attentive. If you don't rent a car, use Uber as cabs are a bit slow.

The reviews I see here are way off base. Yes, it is the older style Marriott. I was absolutely not disturbed by any noise above or around me, and I was fairly close to the lobby area. The staff was super helpful, everything was clean. Pool looked nice but I didn't have a chance to jump in. Could they use a makeover? Sure. But this is a very standard Marriott, with the same level of accommodation and services I see at the dozens of marriotts I stay in all over the world. And the shuttle is punctual, I was overall glad I stayed here.

Cleanest and freshest rooms that we have ever stayed. The rate is also very low especially being so nearer to the airport. Though we stayed there for only 2 days, they replenished the coffee and condiments and the bathroom supplies. Loved there service.

Not my favorite Marriott by a long shot. The room's interior is tired and in need of renovation. The biggest issue is that every little corridor noise comes directly into the room. It is unbelievable. When I investigated it in the morning I found that there was a significant gap between the bottom of the room door and the floor. I could pass a USA Today AND the local paper stacked together into my room from the hallway. No wonder I could hear every little corridor conversation in my room. Don't stay here unless you are a heavy sleeper.

WOW! After reading Chris Tabayoyung's review, I'm avoiding Marriott altogether and staying at Hyatt or similar hotel chain. From my last visit there, I knew it was run down, looked and smelled like a 1950's motel, but didn't know "the rest of the story". I live close to this Marriott and will stop recommending it to friends coming to DC.

Absolute WORST Marriott we've every been too. I was a Gold Elite Status about to reach Platinum Status, but every since our experience there, I only use Marriott if we're staying at one of their Ritz Carltons. I booked a Club Level Room, but they put us in the furthest room and 1 floor below from the Club Level Lounge. When I inquired with the front desk on any rooms closer to the Club Lounge as the distance was too much for my wife, they told me that "None" were available. The restaurant is near the front desk so we decided to just eat there since the trek back to our room was quite far and my Wife just had knee surgery. Not 10 mins later, I heard another couple ask for a closer room to the Club Lounge and the front desk changed their room to a room 3 doors down from the Club Lounge. I would give this Marriott no stars, but the App does not let me do so. I complained and have sent letters to Marriott but have yet to hear anything back from them. The only reason we still use the Marriott brand is that their Ritz Carltons always treat us like we're family. Avoid this Marriott, stay at a Fairfield Inn or Residence Inn if you want to stay at a Marriott, and take the taxi to Dulles Airport. The free shuttle is not worth the stay at the MOST HORRIBLE Marriott.

Lobby is super loud and made check in annoying as I could barely hear the nice lady behind the counter. The electrical is in need bad need of an update. The room had extension cords pulled taught and the bathroom light flickered as the switch sizzled. The TV is an out dated lcd, they have tried to provide updated connections which actually turns into a joke as the my HDMI device was not compatible with their HDMI to dvi converter, had it worked I would not have had audio. No free Wi-Fi. Lastly, cell reception sucks for t-mobile, but that isn't really their fault.

It is true that the hotel is in need of some renovations, however the staff is very friendly and accommodating. From someone that travels nearly half of the year, I would have to say that I will stay here again. The concierge lounge is now open for breakfast on the weekend which is something I've wanted Marriott to do for years! the rooms are extremely sound proof, you wouldn't even know that an airport is nearby. This is very important to me. Thanks for a great stay.

I went on a school trip and the hotel was Amazing one of the best amd not too far but not too close to Washington D. C.

Good staff, easy transfer to air port, hotel could be revised. Rust is first word that comes to mind.

This was a fantastic hotel! Modern and clean with a pleasant staff. The breakfast buffet is not to be missed. Quick and easy shuttle service. Soft sheets and towels. We will stay here every time we are in the area.

Ground transportation to and from the airport is expensive, slow, and time consuming. If your plane arrives after 11pm, make certain you have a ride, or be prepared to pay a tremendous cab fare. Avoid Dulles by all means possible. Fly into reagan (dca) if you can.

Seems like a good airport if you are just passing through. Nothing special but good that you can get a starbucks at five in the morning. The united terminal seems clean and efficient.
