So disappointed. Spent 400 for one day because they wouldn't let me check in early just to bounce room to room because they were FILTHY. I MEAN trash and crumbs at entrance, debris all around and under the bed. Some kinda nasty dirty I think it was a baby toy? dust particles everywhere and don't get me started on the black filters blowing out the AC. NOW, after driving all night I can't even rest comfortably so my amazing fiancee is literally cleaning the room. Had to get the vaccume from them and thank God he always has some kinda cleaning stuff when we travel. Dissatisfied and disappointed is a understatement.

Great Customer Service and Good cookies.

We were treated rudely. They had no hot water. The bed had stains on it. Things were taken out of my room that were not theirs. They overcharged me $800 and refused to give it back. Their breakfast is 12.95 and all you get is eggs and cereal. My eggs had someone's hair in it. When we spoke to the manager, he blew us off.

Highly recommend. We have stayed here frequently during 2020 and will not stay anywhere else. Staff is friendly, facilities are clean and convenient.

We stayed here when we had no power this week and we were pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was. I figured there would not be breakfast since covid however they are very thoughtful to box up what you want so you may take it to go. Our rooms were very quiet and clean, being immunocompromised this was very important to me. It was extremely hot outside (100) and our room stayed nice and cool I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Being greeted with a warm chocolate chip cookie never gets old! This hotel is undergoing renovations and I stayed on a freshly completed floor (8th) — beautiful reno. The hotel is also very handicap accessible (parking, ramps, room accommodations, and a pool chairlift) AND pet friendly!

What a great surprise! I haven’t been impressed with a DTH since leaving California. I’ll recommend to all my colleagues. Great job!

We came for a Winter Gala with The Autism Society. We were given delicious Chocolate chip cookies upon arrival. Everyone was professional and nice. We will definently stay again. The room was clean and comfortable with nice soaps and coffee in room.

Employees are exceptional, especially the housekeeping staff. They were prompt and efficient, really charming. Love Lisa and the 2 ladies that cleaned my room.

I don’t recommend this hotel! My family and I are very disappointed. Shuttle to the beach didn’t work today’s afternoon and we had to take Uber. Rooms are very old. Hotel restaurant is the worst place! Don’t eat there! They forget to bring you your food, confused dishes and bring what you didn’t order. We were waiting for our food 45 minutes! And there were only couple more people besides us. It’s very dirty at the restaurant! Nobody clean tables and you sit around mess. They brought “well done” stake and burger instead of “medium” So, Double Tree by Hilton in VA Beach just spoiled our vacation…

Bad experience pet fee paid stayed on pet floor noise complaint received… so tell me if that makes sense.

The Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, pet friendly with a low cost per deposit. How ever the restaurant that is attached is disgusting! Staff is rude and food is terrible. Don't waste your money.

Hello. I have an issue that I wanted to bring to the attention of management. I informed the front desk staff of this, but wanted to be sure that this was communicated to management. Unfortunately I do not see a way to contact the manager directly online, so I am hoping this catches his attention. We stayed at the hotel Tues 7/24-Thurs 7/26. On Wednesday evening, 7/25, at approximately 10:30 PM we received a phone call to the room phone from someone claiming to be with the hotel. He stated that due to a computer glitch, we would need to give our credit card information again. We of course did NOT give our credit card information to anyone over the phone, but went down to the front desk and verified that they had not called us, nor had anyone from the billing department, they had our credit card on file and we were already paid in full. Obviously this was a scam. I thought that management should know that someone was trying to contact hotel guests and get credit card information. Guests who are checking in should be alerted to this.

Friends booked 4 rooms here and then had to cancel in advance 2 of the rooms. They were charged over $1000.00+ for a "no show" fee. They had called the hotel directly. They tried to reach out to the GM to no avail. Hilton upper management and guest services have not been helpful. Those 2 rooms cancelled were done as they moved to a Hilton property oceanside. Hilton still had the revenue. We also had other friends that had a change in plans and called weeks in advance to cance…l and they were told their room had already been cancelled weeks ago prior to their call. We were all in town for a week long convention and there has not yet been one favorable review from our group. Sad for such a highly esteemed hotel chain to not take care of their customers any better. @doubletree.

Front desk staff was very welcoming and had chocolate chip/ walnut cookies waiting for us. Then we got on the elevator. The carpets were stained as stinky. Rode that up to the 12th floor and walked in our room. The pictures on line are very deceiving. Beds were small and lumpy. Bathroom was extra small. There was a chair sitting beside the window that was stained badly. I think if they took a little more pride in cleaning they would get better reviews. Have someone inspect those rooms as if they were guests walking in to stay. I work in a hotel and I was embarrassed for this hotel. Oh the pool. Don't get me started. Indoor pool I thought it was going to be warm. Wrong! Not heated at all. There was a maintenance man that was in what looked to be a control room of some sort. He heard us talking about how cold it was. He walked out and said oh it is 73 degrees and threw a laugh in behind it. Someone had walked in there in the already wet floors and left clumps of mud. Well, that is what I am going to believe it is. Any way. I wouldn't recommend this place until they change some things up.

What is wrong with Doubletree hotels? This is the third room and still not clean or right. First they put me in a room that they were "air freshening" with a giant machine (you know it was pets or smoke) the second room wasn't much better woke up at 4AM not being able to breathe. Then they "sprayed" air freshener to the gag point. They have moved me to a third room — blood (or something that looks like it) on the floor under the bathroom sink area, room SMELLS and is dirty. And this is an HILTON HONORS room.
I try to give the chain the benefit of the doubt however this is 3 out of the last 4 DoubleTree hotels that I've experienced less than clean rooms. Where is the Hilton Guarantee?
