I have stayed at the Kimball many times over the years and have never been disappointed. The staff have always been friendly and my room has always been clean. With how close it is to everything in downtown, I'd definitely say it is worth the stay.

It is fairly conveniently located, but it is definitely an older place and is NOT full amenity. The older guy who works the front desk will also have no problem telling you that the Kimball does NOT think you should be drinking coffee. The hotub really needs to be drained and deep cleaned. The beds are uncomfortable and the frames squeak like crazy. It was an ok place, but definitely not somewhere I want to stay again.

Cute place with GREAT location. Downtown location within walking distance of everything downtown and TRAX (public train) can take you to locations further away. So fun.

The staff at the Kimball is exceptional, as they all are kind and helpful in providing for the needs of the tenents, owners and guests. My hat off to them. We have owned here since 1984 and have always been pleased with the facility and accommodations. If you are looking a good investment in time share, I highly recommend the Kimball Condominiums.

These are large fully appointed suites that have all the necessities for daily living. It definitely shows its age, but the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The prime location just next door to temple square is the draw for our family.

It was a good place to stay comfortable and large enough for 3. It was nice to have a kitchen.

We were in room 430 and it was a spectacular stay! It was very clean and quiet. You could not hear any one in the rooms next to you. It was well kept and very clean!

It is a very quaint little place to stay. You feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment you walk in. There are plenty of places to go and see in just walking distance. I would recommend staying at The Kimball anyone wanting to stay in this area.

My family enjoys a time share at the Kimble that we book during the holidays. The Kimble is right across from the LDS temple grounds where the Christmas lights are always amazing. We are also very close to the professionals sports venues and all the good restaurants. The staff is always warm and accommodating. It feels like home.

The Kimball is a wonderful, centrally located, time share. The staff is very pleasant and very helpful with needs, questions or requests. The Kimball is located less than 1 block from the Morman Temple, just a few blocks from Center Creek/ downtown shopping, restaurants, and the basketball arena. You also are centrally located to several ski resorts (less than 1 hour drive).

Condo style hotel room from the 1950s. No staff or services on site late at night or early morning. Dated interior and common areas. If you have to stay here it is in a decent location and it was clean, but that is all I can think of for positives.

Cozy, slightly outdated with the dark decor and carpeting, but clean. It's 50 feet from Temple Square, so it's conveniently located and within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, etc.

Bugs in the bathroom and the room smelled like a Nursing home. Super small fridge, just a real bad experience.

The Kimball is an older facility with some dated furnishings and appliances… somewhat Spartan. The staff are attentive and quick to remedy any problems. Our two bedroom is spacious and adequate. The Kimball is very walkable to public transportation, hikes, good shopping and restaurants. Very safe area.

Service is great, room is perfect, has a kitchen, but is within walking distance of restaurants and at least one local mall. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay near Temple Square and the Family History Library.

Ideal location near the convention center. Free parking. Nice facilities, well equipped kitchens for doing your own cooking. Comfortable and quiet.

I stayed here for one week for my honeymoon. The rooms were clean an neat when we arrived. The staff was very friendly. The beds were a bit firm and the hallways smelled a bit funny (the rooms were ok). The heating worked exceptionally well. Over all I really really liked it.

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Kimball. We checked in quickly and the rooms were very nice. No breakfast services, but the room included a kitchen where we could prepare food. There was a TV in the front room and bedroom, and a thermostat for our room. It was a very nice stay.

Although I am NOT a Mormon, nor do I adhere to their methodology of practice in the worship of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, I am a member of the larger Christian diaspora, baptised and confirmed. I believe in God The Father, His SON, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit. As such, staying at The Kimball would've been surpassed ONLY if it were not surrounded by the restrictive and prejudicial aura of surroundings. At times I felt oppreasively unwelcomed, as there was a "Holier than thou" atmosphere surrounding The Kimball. However, the hotel itself was beautifully appointed, and our room, elegantly furnished with a very real sense of "being at home". In our short stay, we discovered the Sugar House District. It was more suited to my eclectic lifestyle as an artist, educator, and member of the larger 'collective' of the "free-spirited" lifestyle.

Arrived late at night and everything was pleasing. Very clean rooms with everything you'd need, from dishes to make-up wipes. Beds were very comfortable with nice fluffy pillows. No issues with being too hot or too cold.

Apartments to stay in, at the best place in the city. It's 5 min walk from Temple Square and 12 from State Capitol Hill. The building is historical and very beautiful inside. It has all the services you might need and super nice staff. The apartments are excellent for 2, but may be a bit too small for 4, even if the extra 2 were children.

It's a very warm condominiums-style hotel. It really made me feel like home. The location and views are also fantastic.

The Kimball is very centrally located and rates are very reasonable. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but ultimately dated. The furniture and decor don't appear to have been updated in at least 25 years. My biggest complaints of the stay would be the water pressure (which is comparable to what you'd get in an RV) and the door to the room. The door had split which prevented the door from being locked via deadbolt. I'm not sure when it happened, but it was prior to my stay and I was amazed that it hadn't been fixed before the room was rented out again. I felt very unsafe locking my room using only the push button lock on the doorknob.

Great place to stay for visiting downtown SLC during the winter. Decor is dated, but the rooms are clean and the service is good.

A great family hotel. Includes kitchen with appliances and cookwear. A little outdated for style, but the price is great. Lovely place! Wonderful staff that are always willing to help, too.

Charming charming charming! Perfect for Temple Square and the Conference Center. Everything is within walking distance.
