I n my daughters always stay here n the staff is extremely friendly we had got into our room last night n the TV had difficulty n they were there to fix it as soon as we reported it never had a problem to stay here.

Crystal inn has always been our favorite place 😍

Nice place to stay and affordable.

Breakfast is awesome and very spacious rooms.

The management there billed me twice at a convention last year. And after repeated attempts to prove by paperwork they still would not, reimburse me.
Both my daughter paid and I paid for the same room, for the same stay.
Outrageous I can't afford a lawyer.
But I don't want anyone to have the same experience watch your debit cards.

Hotel was unacceptable. Was forced to pay $50 pet fee which was undisclosed at time of booking. Friendly front desk but we were given a handicap double instead of a king. Carpet was dirty. No batteries in the remote. Loudest motel in recent memory. We left after one night. Worse motel we've stayed in all year.

Awesome breakfast. Plenty to choose from. The front desk staff was amazing.

I will never stay at a Crystal Inn Hotel again.
When I checked in last night "3-23" the man and woman working treated me like crap. They acted like they were doing me a favor just being there. I asked for 2 extra towels for my girls and was told "you have 3 in the room that should be plenty"?
I did get 2 the next morning after the shift change. There was nothing to drink out of in the room and when I went to the desk and asked for some they pointed at the Styrofoam cup's on the wall.
There was no coffee that evening or the next morning for breakfast.
At 7:30 on the 23rd the breakfast was horrid. Everything seemed over cooked, Tossed most everything we took away.
With the price we paid and the way we were treated I would have rather went to a Motel 6, at least I know what to expect there.

They treated us great. We had to check out at 12 and they let us sit around and shuttled us to airport. Scott really helped us. Great guy!

(in SLC) The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful when we were trying to escape from another hotel. We ended up staying here and it was SO much better. I was not disappointed! We will be staying here in the future and I recommend this to everyone!

Stayed here for two nights on Sept 6 and 7. On our second night, was a city wide power outage (which was terribly inconvenient, but not anyone's fault). Here's what's amazing about the folks at Crystal Inn: They were still able to serve a very nice hot breakfast in the morning, They provided us with emergency light sticks (not that bright, but did the job just fine) and housekeeping went all through the hotel laying these light sticks through the halls so it wasn't pitch dark. At checkout they apologized about the power outage, and I left pretty satisfied under the circumstances. What was really amazing is that after only a few days, the manager herself called me to offer to refund half the cost of my stay with them. I think that demonstrates great service, they reimbursed me for something they didn't do, but cared enough to refund some of my money. Sure enough they did, I saw the reimbursement on my credit statement today! I'll definitely be back. Great service!

I've stayed here many times. The pool is indoors and usable all year. Breakfast is great, but you need to get there early because there seems to be just a little bit of seating. The rooms are nice enough but a little older. The staff is great. Overall a really nice experience. The shower was ok. Will stay here again.

Nice rooms that were very clean. Comfortable bed. The staff were friendly. We had a little area with loveseat couch, chair and coffee table that was nice. Breakfast was hot and quite good. You get your money's worth here.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff. The room is also quite large — we could entertain guests if we cared to. It's downtown so just a short walk to restaurants and a few breweries. Edit: after two breakfasts here, I've removed one star from my review. They provide a complimentary hot breakfast but clearly not enough staff to support the weekend crowd. The first morning, there were no clean coffee mugs (Styrofoam cups were used instead), there were two hot foods missing because they were emptied (they were replaced almost 10 minutes later), and the water dispenser was emptied long before breakfast ended. The second morning, there were no clean large plates available (Styrofoam plates were put out — clean plates were not stocked for almost 20 minutes), bowls of fruit sat empty on ice, and the oatmeal looked to be water with a sprinkle of oats. On both days we saw the same poor guy doing everything in his power to keep up with demand but he just wasn't able to do it alone. It's rather sad that they can't supply one more person to assist.

Well located hotel in Salt Lake City.

I had to fly out to SLC for surgery, I had to stay at this hotel for 6 days. Not only was the room ready when I got there but the shuttle came and got me and my friend from the airport which saved us money. The room was so clean and the room was handicapped accessible for after my surgery so it was easy to move around when I got discharged. The satellite TV was nice it had lots of channels. All staff was sweet and kind especially housekeeping they were so nice and accommodating during my stay making sure I had everything for my bathroom. The jacuzzi was nice, hot and relaxing and the pool was just the right temp. Breakfast was amazing hot and fresh every morning and they even switched up the main entree items everyday which was nice for us on a long stay. Thank you guys for making my stay amazing given my circumstances I definitely will be back!

Had a great stay! room was big and cozy, plenty of room for us and our two girls. Room was quiet. Breakfast was mediocre but we loved the indoor pool and hot tub! will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Splurged a bit for a Jacuzzi room, which was amazing and quite spacious. Loved the A/C and having separate units for the main area and bedroom. The bed was a bit firm for my personal preference, and the pillows were small and didn't offer much support, so sleeping wasn't the most pleasant experience, but far from the worst I've had as well. Breakfast is also great in the morning, a nice selection and seating area to enjoy it. Would recommend this to a friend and will likely stay here again.

The rooms were clean and functional for our family of four. It is nice how close to downtown it was. The kids enjoyed the pool, which was kept fairly warm, while we enjoyed the hot tub. They also have a sauna and nice exercise room. The breakfast was good and had a few different things both mornings we were there.

Everything you could want or need plus more! Great location — with free airport shuttle or easy to find via car. Friendly and informed staff. Amazing continental breakfast, great pool areas and on-site shop with snacks, needs and gifts. Rooms are oversized, clean and comfortable.

Pros: Free shuttle to and from SLC airport; clean rooms with adequate space and decent size sofa; free breakfast; free water through day; fresh cookies; very friendly and helpful staff. Indoor pool and sauna which I regret not trying. Cons: asked for sofa bed but it wasn't thank goodness my friend is small. Highly recommend coming to crystal inn.

Rooms were decent for a hotel. My bed was hard as a rock. And slanted to one side a bit. But the breakfast buffet was amazing. I would recommend this place just because of the breakfast.

So the room is fine. The coffee maker sucks. The lighting in the halls was dark and the parking is not secure at all. Homeless people wandering around at all hours. For the price in the future I will be finding a better hotel with better accommodations. Oh and the Wi-Fi is super slow and not secured.

Awesome price for what you get. Very spacious rooms, the bed is comfortable, so are the pillows. Convenient to have a microwave and a minibar. The sofa area is pretty big and cozy. Clean carpets, wc, and the entire room. The breakfast buffet is good, you get the basics, fruit, eggs, bread, cereal. Convenient shuttle from and to the airport and to the surroundings. Friendly staff. It is a great place to stay in Salt Lake City. A bargain overall.

Great hotel! Def go for a Jacuzzi suite. Worth the extra money. Clean and comfy bed. Breakfast was surprisingly good — eggs, bacon, potatoes, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, etc… Really friendly staff. They even let us check in a little early when we got there. Hands down my favorite hotel in SLC.

We 2 were 2 times in this hotel in August 2016 Super clean hotel with nice pool and good breakfast.
Very good reception also as when we left for Yellowstone in the morning the receptionist kindly offered to call a taxi to take us to the airport not knowing that we were going by car.
Nice big and clean room, we enjoy the room with the Jacuzzi close to the center of Salt Lake City (10 min walk) I would definitely recommend.

Me husband and I have stayed at this particular hotel several times and love it here. The staff members are always friendly and the rooms are neat and clean. Their continental breakfast has a good variety and we leave with full bellies. We also love their noon check-out time, since we are late risers.

The hotel has oversized rooms which works great for our family of 5. The couch pulled out into a single bed as well. Rooms were clean, well maintained with the double sinks located outside the washroom. The pool and hot tub we're fine, the only think lacking was the quality of the breakfast. There was no waffle or pancake maker and the other food just wasn't that tasty.

This was a last minute "need" on christmas eve as we traveled horrible roads and realized we were not going to make it to our destination. The staff was awesome! Room was very clean and comfortable. My two adult kids were able to meet us there and it was a wonderful evening. The breakfast the next morning was great since we have so many different diet/stomach issues. It was all absolutely wonderful. It honestly saved our Christmas! Thank you so very much!

Excellent breakfast buffet that changes every day. Clean comfortable rooms with wardrobe for hanging up clothes, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, ironing board and iron as well as two sinks. Comfortable beds, couch, table and 2 chairs in each of the double queen rooms we were in. Would gladly stay here again.

Awesome staff rooms are huge comfy beds and the breakfast is to die for different every day. Fresh made everyday in site not some stupid microwave stuff. All if the good we ate was made fresh right there in the kitchen. I can't wait for my next visit. Thank you. You beat out all the other motels we've stayed at.

Luxury hotel at very affordable price. Continental breakfast, Spa, large room and excellent service. A few minutes from Alta and Snowbird. I recommend.

The staff is amazing. Front desk greets with a smile and the buffet staff are great. The housekeepers (forgot our housekeeper she had long black hair) and our room was beautiful. Made us dragonflies out of the towls which were amazing. Ill always stay here when in salt lake.

CIH & S's is my favorite place to stay in SLC! We have always received the best customer service, the rooms are GREAT, the free breakfast is the best I've ever had anywhere, the free shuttle to and from the airport is a big plus and they have a very nice pool as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Great location. Very friendly staff. Clean spacious rooms. I spent 2 nights for my birthday weekend here cause its close to everything downtown. 2nd night we had our children with us and they were super fast with all of our accommodation requests like the crib and extra pillows. Relaxing big Jacuzzi in the room was nice and good hot Breakfast. No complaints. Thanks to security for dealing with my drunk friend the 1st night and being understanding.

Many things with wrong with this stay. First they tell me I don’t have a reservation when I booked this room 2 months in advance. They say that they tried to run my card it didn’t have the funds on it so they canceled my reservation. Well it wasn’t supposed to be ran till I checked in, I never put my card with a bunch of money on a reservation in case they do something shadey like this. Then they finally find us a room we get in there and within 20 min of being in there we hear water falling. Low and behold there is a huge crack in the ceiling and water is falling from the ceiling. The floor is soaked. Go downstairs to tell them and the guy proceeds to down play everything that has happened running between the rooms then tells us “ you should be fine we had a maid flood a floor once because she hit a sprinkler and flooded the place” did not help that the ceiling was soft and I could shove my fist through it if I tried. After telling us they were at max capacity for the evening we started looking for another hotel they then magically had a room open up right next door. Not once did we get an apology or anything for this entire nightmare. I will never stay here again.

Great room. Very clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy but the pillows could have been a bit better. Just off the I15 which was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

In honor of Stars Week, I would like to compliment the staff at all the Crystal Inn Hotels. With the exception of one hotel, I have stayed in all their hotels including all of the ones in Utah. Every time I have been met by courteous staff. They go out of their way to ensure that I have everything I need for my stay. They have been very accommodating. I appreciate the efforts of the staff and the general managers of each hotel.

Great impression at check in. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Even though the hotel was running at full capacity they were kind and not at all flustered. Clean comfortable room. Slept great in the bed. I only withhold 1star as it is time for a little refreshing of decor in hallways and rooms. That said, it wouldn't keep me from a return stay. The location is great for downtown SLC sights.

It includes breakfast, with fresh fruit, which is rare in hotels of this range, and the rooms are quite spacious. Excellent attention, have a shop at the entrance with items, snack or walk at a reasonable price.

We enjoyed this hotel. The room was spacious with a large tub and a sofa couch. It was close enough to walk our grab a short bike taxi to the Salt Lake Convention center. Close to fun restaurants like PF Chang's and walking distance to tracks. The only things that were sub par were: a/c was okay, could have worked better; water pressure in the shower was almost non existent. At night it was a little better, but never really good. And checkout took forever, they were understaffed. Other great things about the hotel: great breakfast, nice large Jacuzzi bathtub, fridge and microwave, comfy bed and pillows.

The rooms are a nice size, everything is fresh and clean. The Continental breakfast has been hot and fresh across the board. We came as part of a convention, so the hotel was pretty full with people doing the same things at the same time. This may have effected our stay, although I would say it effected it for the better. We will definitely consider booking here next year!

The sleeping arrangements were awesome. I slept super well. In fact, the whole room was way nice. The breakfast was also very good. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast food was all jumbled: the utensils were near the beginning and the milk was way before the rest of the drinks. Otherwise, the pool looks good, and everything was well worth the price.

Close to the Hotel They did a free upgrade, room with Jacuzzi. In the room you will find refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine and hair dryer. Very spacious room, comfortable bed. Would stay here again. There is also A gym and swimming pool, breakfast included.

The entire hotel was very clean and modern. We loved our Jacuzzi suite. The jets in the tub were perfect, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was really friendly and offered some nice tips for visiting the lake. Happy to say we found our place to stay every time we are visiting the area.

We stayed at the Crystal Inn in Murray/Midvale Utah. The people are friendly, but the stay was horrible. The 1st room the air conditioner didn't work and they told us to turn it off for 20 minutes… in a 100 degree heat really? We switched rooms. Looks nice, but coffee pot didn't work, blow dryer doesn't stay in the hook, TV remote works lousy, and we were polite and didn't park where the hotel van is suppose to park, only to have a California family pull in to that spot and never got notice to move. So feel free to park there when you go. I complained to the front desk and they did nothing, not even a discount. Would not recommend this one in this city. Limited parking also.

The only part of our stay that was good was the customer service. Upon checking in we were told the pool was down. Not during booking was that mentioned anywhere. Booked into our room and the room was extremely warm. Turned the AC on and thought after a little time it would cool down. Went to dinner came back and it was still warm, ended up calling the front desk just to get a fan. If we had the option we would have got a room somewhere else. Needed two pillows those weren't available. Breakfast was ok. I don't think we will be staying here again. They definitely need new AC. This is the one downtown.

The shuttle was convenient, the staff was awesome, view was great, free breakfast was good, pool/hot tub/sauna was clean, room was clean and updated! Would absolutely go back. Zero complaints! Salt Lake location.

A nice hotel relatively close to the center of SLC. It takes about 20 mins to walk to bars and restaurants. They have pretty big parking, a pool, friendly stuff and a free shuttle to/from airport — it takes about 15 mins. What can improve? Breakfast was sub-par.

Good sized rooms. Friendly helpful staff and really nice free breakfast in the morning. My only complaint is the location. It's downtown but I wouldn't wonder out after dark. There is a methadone clinic near by. I saw a person a block away smoking crack on the street. A first for me ever.

I live in hotels and see the same thing everywhere I go. But this place is pretty different. The style of the whole place is a little different actually. I really like the way my room is laid out and their dining area is prety darn big. Haven't had breakfast but I'm sure it meets expectations.

Clean room, good TV channels, freindly staff. The location is a few minute walk from great restaurants and bars as well as some good shopping. Also, the free breakfast in the morning is the best I have ever had at a hotel.

Very nice and clean place. We had gotten a room on the 3rd floor, but we have a one year old and the people below complained about to much noise. So, front desk attendance were very understanding and went ahead and moved us to the 1st floor so there wouldn't be any issues. I would defiantly stay here again!

We were in the Jacuzzi room. The room was wonderful. The Jacuzzi was big and roomy and held heat very well. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was very nice. The only qualm we had was that the breakfast we had in the morning was cold!

Went to visit a friend, downtown Salt Lake at the Crystal Inn. I asked how was the hotel seeing I've always been curious since about 10yrs when they built one by the house I lived in for 30yrs. They replied that it was nice, comfortable, good service & good food. I myself have looked into booking a room once or twice but had always decided against it because it was always just a little too much for what you get. I can get a dramatically better deal at a 3 star hotel for cheaper through Priceline. If Crystal Inn would be a tad more affordable I would book there for leisure or whatever in a heart beat.

The rooms are very spacious. The hotel is quite close to the Center. It has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, gymnasium and sauna 24 h, ideal. Breakfast can be improved. There is a shuttle to the airport. Wi-Fi seamlessly throughout the hotel. Macdonald, wendys next to the hotel. What there is a supermarket next to the hotel. This trax stop 5 minutes.

The room is beautiful and I love that they give you the choice to get new towels and make the bed every day. Going green is a wonderful idea! The beds are comfy and I love that they offer a microwave and mini fridge in the room. I wish they gave you free little lotions (like I heard they did they use to do). Besides that, everyone is so friendly. I would definately suggest the Crystal Inn Salt Lake City Hotel for my friends and family.

Overall the stay was nice. The hvac in the room was almost uncontrollable to put it at a comfortable temp. It bounced between cold and hot all night. Otherwise good. Oh, and breakfast was easily the worst hotel breakfast of my life, but it's right next to McDonald's so they've got you covered instead.

The bed was so comfortable, I woke up in the position that I fell asleep in. That's not normal for me hehe. The breakfast is great and so is the hot tub.

The staff was awesome, the room meet our expectations, and our stay was worth it. Add a couple things to the breakfast, and they're 5 stars in my book.

Great hotel close to everything. Free parking, Free Wi-Fi, King Jacuzzi room is really nice and comfy. Definitely on my list of places to stay on next trip to SLC. Denny's on one side of the parking lot and McDonald's on the other. Can't day enough good about this hotel. Rooms are will maintained.

I love the Crystal Inn. Their rooms are nice and cean. Beds are comfortable and their complimentary breakfast is great.

While the hotel itself was okay, the rooms are so so. You can hear everything from the other guest rooms. Best part of the experience was leaving, free ride to and from Airport.

Spacious rooms with good beds and nice sink countertops. Fantastic complimentary breakfast complete with pancakes/french toast, eggs, sausage, and potatoes, among standard fare such as pastries and juices. The free shuttle to the airport was quite nice and convenient. Excellent hotel at a great price.

I arrived at noon asked if I could check in. The front desk person told me I could not check in till 3 pm so I should go watch a movie or something. I arrived back at the hotel at 3:30pm and was told it would be another 45min, the room was ready an hour latter. I was also told they were sold out so I should have known the room would not be ready untill 5.

Clean, easy access, great housekeeping services, fantastic airport shuttle, laundry on site, affordable, excellent full breakfast. Over the past few years the place has been getting better and better, they are even paying attention to the small details like how they arrange the fruit in their lobby water cooler. Two things in need of improvement: working treadmill and a working scale for weighing luggage on the way to the airport.

Affordable with a nice, clean room and comfy beds. However, some of the outlets didn't work properly and neither did the hair dryer. The shower changed temperature drastically during use, from luke warm to literally scalding hot. Beware the shower! The staff was great and the amenities included are handy. The neighborhood is iffy, with a lot of homeless people. Avoid the McDonald's next door if you stay here.

I was surprised how generous their breakfast buffet was. And the variety! Room was very nice. The service was also exceptional. They let me borrow a phone charger 'cause I forgot mine, which was very nice. And though the bottle opener was being lent out, the lady at the front desk opened one from the little convenience shop and let me borrow it. Very nice (=.
