We were accidentally given a smoke-free room that reeked of smoke, but the front desk staff were accommodating and changed our room. We got all features we wanted and the mattress was sufficiently soft. The toilet emitted a screeching noise upon refill, however, and the fridge was rather old and noisy as well. Sound insulation could have been better. Overall a good stay.

Got a room in a pinch while stuck at airport. They send shuttles out to pick you up at the airport, which is super convenient. Great customer service from hotel staff, and the decorations + the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom made this the best hotel room I’ve had in a while.

I stayed here on two occasions and it was nice but lacked a little eligense. Could use nicer carpet to be really inviting. Only 4 star for the money you spend sorry.

Location is a little out of the way but pretty easy to find. Check in was fast and easy and the room was very clean. Breakfast (6am-9am) can get busy so go early. They had a fitness room with a treadmill, bike, and weights. The pool is small and the water was a little cloudy but not gross. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very comfortable, clean and inviting rooms. Loved the hot tub. Great breakfast.

Very reasonable pricing, room was clean and decent size. It's also very close to the airport and convenient for quick trips.

My stay wasn't too bad; rooms and amenities are a little dated, but if you are just looking for a reasonably priced place simply to sleep this is a good option.

My battery died, and the maintenance guy took time out of his busy day to jump my car with his own truck, very grateful! Good customer service!

Not as clean as expected after booking on line. The floor is oddly "lumpy" in the room we had, like old carpet is under the kinda newer carpet. The sink was very very very slow draining. The beds are horrible. We rolled to the middle and sunk. Then last but not least if booking on line beware that they charge extra for your pets. $20 per pet per night. Not a big deal just wish we had known prior to booking. Will never stay here again. Worse place ever. Stay away from here the internet was very bad I can't get on at all and when my wife did get on it bumped her off.

I only gave it a 1 star because I couldn't give it a negative 5 stars. So we checked in and that was alright. But duringbtge night the automatic motion light sensors in the entry way and the bathroom would come on every hour and wake my wife, 10 month old son up. My other two sons could sleep through almost anything. We told the very unfriendly staff the next morning and the I my thing he said was. "You call in night and we change you room" not considering we had two sleeping children. No apology for the inconvenience or anything else. No other kind of offer either. Won't be coming back to this hotel again.

For the price it's great. They are renovating and it is looking up. I've stayed here a couple different times and the first time my room was old and carpets were filthy. 2nd time much better experience. Front desk is helpful and courteous. Breakfast is ok but free is always good. Area is industrial/hotel safe, no transients, and is very close to airport with free shuttle. Would definately recommend it.

I've had a great experience with this hotel. It has a lot of amenities for a hotel in its class. The room was very clean and included a microwave and fridge. The best part was the staff. They were extremely courteous and went out of their way to help during my stay. Definitely would stay again.

Horrible experience with this hotel. My debit card was brand new and didn't have my name on it yet. I was here from Denver super late at night WOULD not let me stay using my card. Atm wouldn't work. They could have cared less if I slept outside on a freezing cold night. It's sad when Policy comes before humanity. Walked across the street to another hotel where they were happy to help.

Acceptable place when flight was delayed overnight. About what I expect from a Super 8. Breakfast was good. Room showed wear; one of the chairs at the small table had a big rip in the seat. Airport shuttle was a plus.

The pool needed to be cleaned. As did the hot tub, which also needed water. The energy saving lights would come on at random times during the night. The hotel is being renovated which may address these issues in the future.

This Super 8 is only 2 exits away from the SLC Airport on I80W. Convenient access to Ogden and Huntsville via I215/I15. The counter staff are very friendly and polite. Rooms are immaculately maintained. Wi-Fi connection is so good that the signal is strong enough to be used in the parking lot. The only downside is that the shower pressure is too low and water not hot enough. Complimentary breakfast are available although there is not much variety. In general, it is certainly a good choice for travelers with limited budgets ($5X Per night).

Loved my night there. Nice clean rooms and freindly helpful staff. Thanks to the hotel booking site I used I was able to get a great rate on my room. Ive already recommended the place to family and friends.

It was clean, and there were no problems. We didn't see many people, but what we saw was good. The bed was a bit hard, but not so bad.

The employee that helped us the evening we arrived was so nice. She made us feel very welcome and even remembered ours names when we signed up for the airport shuttle. Rooms were clean. Would use again if needed.

We stopped here late at night after driving further than we should have. Overall it was a good place to lay my head and get back on the road. The breakfast was minimal but the rooms were relatively clean and comfortable. Wish we had more time to try the pool.

Would love your Super 8 these guys are so flexible and easy to get along with we'll stay here all the time especially in the hot tub suite. What are the main guy's there his name is Gary he is a stud he is very very relaxed and kind the guy that runs the night show a little different story he pinpoints my wife every time we go and pics on her for whatever reason and I am confronting him about it the next time I walk in the door. The last time we were there he asked oh you're back. What kind of Welcome is that to a guest who continually stays there and pays top dollar for a room I wished I knew his name but he's not a very nice man he's of Eastern descent obviously he does not like women because he does not treat me the same as my wife therefore he must be afraid to treat me the same as my wife and belittle her which makes me very angry and this is the end of my review otherwise nice place to stay hide your wife from the monster that works nights.

Comfortable beds. Easy check in. Pets are allowed, for a fee… but they don't tell you that until you are committed to paying for the room. Oh, and by the way, pets are allowed, but if you want to go anywhere, you can't leave that pet in the room. You will have to take it with you. If you are the type that doesn't eat an early breakfast, you will want to be sure to get your food and take it to your room. Luckily they did have a microwave to heat it up later and mini fridge to keep your milk and juice cold until you're ready to eat. You will want to get it early because when they say breakfast goes until 9AM, THEY MEAN 8:30AM! Having a hot tub and pool was a good idea. But both were colder than you would expect… I think the hot tub needs a good scrubbing as well. The brownish bubbles floating on top were my first clue.

A nice hotel with friendly and hospitable staff. With nice rooms, free breakfast, and indoor pool, this hotel is a great value for what you find there. Free shuttle to and from the airport. While there are other hotels around this one, the value one gets for their stay here is fantastic.

Look I give it 5 stars because I rate based on what I know I am booking. I wanted a nice place to rest. Near airport. I have used this hotel multiple times including when I bicycles across the country in 2015. Their staff is friendly, the rooms are nice and clean, the pool and hot tub are nice.

Well furnished and clean room. Comfortable bed. Super friendly staff. Decent Wi-Fi. Low water pressure. Pretty good breakfast.

Only 2 stars due to over charging due to convention and the eclipse. But need a room due to being here for work and it was the only open room around. Other then that a decent place. Everything looks clean enough.

Terrible stay. The staff made you feel like everything you had them do for you (their job) was an inconvenience. Rooms were cleaned *ok* but every single room in the hotel had a different stench. The pool was nice. No complaints there. However, the breakfast was absolutely pitiful. Around 5 different things to choose from.

Nice location with comfortable and clean rooms. It is pet friendly and has a nice pool. I enjoyed my stay.

Nothing fancy but has all the basics. Indoor swimming pool. My room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. For a no frills, place not bad. Just don't get your hopes up. Fine for a night if you need to be by the airport.

This is the best super 8. Expect a decent make your own breakfast, that offers more than the average hotel. A small pool that begins at 3ft and 5ft. Then, there is a jacuzzi within the same area, and also including a fitness room to work out. However, the fitness room can fit about 4 people at best so be aware.

Got a two queen bed room for right under $100! It was the best deal in town, staff was nice, room was clean. Comes with Wi-Fi, fridge, microwave, pool/hot tub and breakfast in the morning! Definitely recommend!

Good service, shuttle readily available. Rooms aren't very spacious, or particularly clean. But it was good for the price.

I didn't like the room and the breakfast was nothing to.

Dirty breakfast area, very crowded and it took forever to have food and supplies replenished. Hot tub has been out of service for a long time. Wouldn't accept corporate credit card. Wouldn't allow rollaway in double room. Forced a blind guest to be on the first floor even though the rest of the group was on the second floor. Considering filing discrimination complaint.

The motel in him is big enough with a nice exterior and Interior. A pool area, jacuzzi (closed for failure) and gym, all indoors. Pretty clean overall. The breakfast room is quickly complete because too small for the number of room, which is often the case in motels. Basically it is very correct but I put 2 stars because no fridge in the room, it stinks and the bed is small and spring.

Got a great rate on Hot wire so I have to keep that in mind for this review. We are staying for a week with a toddler and have had a good stay for the price. 15-20 minutes from attractions and stores, but luckily we are well planned and packed. Breakfast is lackluster and not replenished often enough, even for a budget place. Room is adequate, somewhat of a weird sour smell, but you don't smell it after a minute of being in the room. Desk staff was courteous. Printer in lobby is handy. Area is secluded but seems modern and safe. You get what you pay for and I am satisfied when I consider the price we paid. Might be better as a short stopover type place though!

Horrible experience very unprofessional I do not recommend this place at all go look somewhere else especially if you have kids front desk woke us up at midnight saying we needed to pay again cuz supposedly my card didn't go through but it actually did charging me a total of three times in the morning they cought the mistake however I couldn't sleep properly. Middle Eastern people at graveyard shift rude careless and very very unprofessional especially the assistant manager… horrible poor service!

Great price! But you will need the extra $ you saved to buy your own pillows! Or go stay at a competitor who has decent ones. Had king sized bed and 4 small square pillows. Asked for more twice … they were all gone, probably because everyone else needed more too! What motel/hotel runs out of pillows? Woke up twice with throbbing headache. Continental Breakfast was mostly cold items such as cereal and yogurt. Except waffles. I came for a funeral and felt more miserable than the occasion I came for.

Easily the worst experience at a hotel. I arrive after a long drive and realize that I forget my ID to pay for my credit card. I was greeted at the front desk clerk, Aneeta, who didn't say a word to me before I initiated the conversation. I told her that I forgot my ID, but she carried on anyway almost as though she hadn't heard what I said. She took my card and another form of ID that I had on me and then went on to raise her voice at me telling me that I need a state issued ID to pay for the rooms. I had called my Dad to ask about what we should do and she proceeded to get snippy at my Dad in the backroom. She then came out and started to mumble words under her breath as I tried to find a way to pay for my room. Long Story short, I eventually had to shell out 600 bucks to pay for 2 rooms with cash. We got up to the rooms and one of the doors wouldn't shut all the way so if someone wanted to, they could push on the door lightly and end up in my room. The other room had a broken AC and the room would either be boiling hot or freezing cold. Not to mention one of our rooms were stuck without a fridge and microwave. The shower head felt like it would either give you a concussion if you used the high spray feature or it would feel like a light rain if you were using the low spray feature, there was no in between. Only positive thing about the stay was the housekeeping. I am going to end up contacting the Windham corporate office about this ABSOLUTELY terrible stay.

The hotel was actually pretty good and clean. Price was a little more than we wanted. The lady took my card and rang me up before I was able to tell her I had a cat with me. She then said that they would have to charge extra for it. I said no but she said that since she already rang me up she couldn't cancel. But she could add more? Not happy about that.

Shuttle was great. Very helpful, just call when you have your bags. Check in was easy and room was clean and bed was VERY comfortable. Microwave, fridge in room. Breakfast was minimal but I wasn't very hungry anyhow. Would totally stay again, great price. Minimal noise from freeway but it didnt bother me.

I called ahead to let the hotel know we were disabled we would need extra pillows. We got to our room the heater was not working. I told the desk person we needed the heater fixed the next day or move our room, they gave us extra blankets. The next morning the person at the desk yelled at the night person about putting the heater problem in a book to have it fixed and he told her he did even showed her, she was rude and should have told him she was sorry. The next night person told us they were married and her family it was a sad situation. She gave us a portable heater that was broken. The bed was horrible my husband and myself would alternate night on the couch that was a hideaway bed however the bed part was not sleepable so only one of us could sleep on it at a time. I sent an email to the hotel corporate and got one back saying they would look into it but never herd back. We spent 5 days at the hotel I had prepaid or we would have left. We stayed 2 more days in salt lake we went to other hotels in down town that were so much better. I had told the staff about the heat 3 days in a row and they did not change the room and because of the gossip I was uncomfortable talking to them again. The elevator was not working twice and my husband had to help me up and down the stairs on two different nights. They put us on the third floor the ice was on the 2nd floor.

Their web site is misleading, it says cancellation prior to 6pm is required, but they have thier own rules, 4pm! They will charge your card with s smile! And say you were looking at a generic web page. Even though it describes the exact location with a picture.

Our car was subject to a major burglary on the motel parking lot and needless to say the surveillance cameras did not capture the event. Somehow however it did capture other events adajcent to our car that night. The staff explained it as "well sometimes the cameras don't pick up motion as they are supposed to". Again they picked up a man taking one step by the side of the crime scene but did not capture a violent burglary in the exact same spot, including breaking out an entire window of our car and ravaging through the car for five minutes. It was a clear night and the surveillance cameras still were unable to capture the license plate of the robber's vehicle as it entered and left the parking lot at a slow speed. Staff also stated that the motels surveillance videos cannot be saved as a file and that "no one could ever figure out how to do it even in my six years of working here". Motel staff also told us that these sort of burglaries " happen all the time". So basically to me, the Super 8 at Salt Lake City airport has knowingly installed a surveillance system that is not capable of the most basic tasks that one would expect: catching motion, viewing all locations in the lot, viewing a license plate on a clear night, and saving videos for later analysis.

The best Super 8 I've ever stayed at. Friendly, clean, and a beautiful pool and hottub. And very inexpensive. Did I mention, free breakfast too!

Very nice place. The room and the staff were very nice. A bit hard to find but it was quiet that way… suffice it to say that I'd stay here again.

Got way more than we expected from a Super 8! Past stays at a Super 8 were predictable: sup-par, cheap easy place to stay that sometimes you had to think twice about leaving your room at night time. But here. We stayed there in July of 2014, coming down from Idaho Falls to go to Warped Tour 2014 and we got the nicest room in the hotel, a great spacious king size bed that was more than enough. Everything was clean and very nice. By far best hotel that we've stayed at. Definitely would recommend not only for convenience to near the airport but also staying there for such a great price.

This is one of the best places that we've stayed in a while and it was a pleasant surprise after our first hotel in Albuquerque was less than stellar. Our room was clean, comfortable and our pet rabbit enjoyed the extra space in the room to run around. Although this motel is next the airport, the windows had excellent seals on them and we were never awoken by loud sounds. The one quirk we discovered was that everything is on a motion sensor including the AC. During a very hot day, it's not fun waiting for the air to kick on. The halls were very warm, as well. Once the air did come on, it was a nice relief to then go and take a long, hot shower! Normally getting hot water in a hotel is hit or miss, but this shower had endless hot water! Not all rooms come with a micro/fridge combo; you need to ask for it beforehand. Breakfast is "continental" so you shouldn't be expecting anything more than high-sugar/carb-filled foods. They did have waffles, including apple cinnamon batter. Very delicious! Other food included cereal, oatmeal packets, yogurt, pastries, bread/toast, orange and apple juice, coffee and water. I think I saw a basket of fruit, but it definitely was not front and center. Overall, I would recommend this place for an extended stay in Salt Lake City.

Don't come here if you expect to have Wi-Fi. Terrible customer service. Tiffany who worked at the front desk refused to assist me. The manager, TJ, basically told her not to do anything for me. They had an extra Ethernet cable I could have used to wire-in in my room, but they just stonewalled me and said I couldn't borrow it. It was almost surreal. I couldn't understand how they wouldn't take such a simple step to make a customer happy. Pretty sad. Super 8 should do a customer service training course.

Super Convenient Location, Nice rooms, Good service This hotel is lovely and elegant. I had a wonderful stay. The room was SPACIOUS and GORGEOUS, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The Breakfast was delicious; the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was good. Super 8 Hotel is full of great amenities like hair dryer, Air conditioning, a desk, and an iron and ironing board available. I enjoyed the Indoor Pool. Can't wait to return for another weekend getaway.
