Checked in around 10:30 after 14 hours driving across three states. We’re exhausted — the front desk staff is pleasant and friendly when they greeted us. Couldn’t get into our room when we checked in — front desk handed my son a “tool” to open the door (it looked like a bent piece of metal), didn’t tell us HOW to use it, then realized someone was already checked into the room they assigned us and put us somewhere else. At 10:30 at night! Get into room. Tv doesn’t work. Call the front. They’ll send someone up. Thirty minutes later, we call back. Those that checked us in and took my call have left, told no one about our issues, didn’t send someone. New front desk staff can’t come up because the shuttle is gone (no explanation how that has any bearing but at this point, I’m too tired to ask). Tell them to not bother. Never provided the “free” Wi-Fi password. 8:05 sound of my door being messed with. Thought someone breaking in. Housekeeping. WTF? Asked WHY they’d WAKE US UP at 8 am and try to get in our room. They just walked away. Called front and they said they’d tell housekeeping check out 11. You have to TELL THEM? Couldn’t even be bothered to apologize for waking us up.

Rooms clean & quiet. Shuttle dependable & convenient. Poor breakfast. Only 2 choices allowed on the voucher, any drink beside coffee or tea is an extra charge. The food quality was less than a typical hotel breakfast bar.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the stench of chlorine because the pool is located in the very busy lobby which is very awkward. My husband had his wallet stolen during our trip and even though I had the room booked and paid for they demanded the same card, even when I told them it was in my husband’s wallet, that was stolen and I have all the booking numbers and information on my phone. They continued to argue, and they wouldn’t refund the money either if we couldn’t stay. I said I had cash for their extremely pricey incidental deposit ($100, the first hotel we stayed at was much nicer and didn’t make my eyes burn with pool smell), the young woman at the front desk was not nice about it at all and finally called over someone who might have been a supervisor who said to check us in. Our kid was in the car so my husband stayed with him and then he had to go back in to sign some paperwork to get the keys to the room and they didn’t even give him the keys, I had to send him back. They told me we can get the cash deposit back as long as we make sure to let them know when we want to check out and give them time to inspect the room before leaving. The “free breakfast” is for 2 choices from the utterly mediocre Chinese restaurant that adjoins the hotel. Even when you pull into the hotel they have their vans and shuttles parked in front of the door, under the awning so you have to navigate the cluster of the parking lot.

Modest room, clean and pleasant staff. Free breakfast needs much improvement. Day old fries tossed in yesterday grease and offered as potatoes was disappointing. Over easy eggs still runny whites and limp bacon, yuck! Coffee was great. Wait staff pleasant.

The staff are rude. The hotel is old and the swimming pool is out of order, it’s small and in the poorest place. It’s right in the lobby in front of a door that people come in. We left our car at the hotel while we flew to San Diego. They said it would be three dollars a day and they charged us 8. They said they have a van coming to the airport every half hour. We called for the van and the lady said they would be there in 10 min. And it was 45 min later when they got to the airport. We had a room reserved for that night and we told the van driver who works the desk also that we were not staying that we had a family emergency, my grandson was sick and being admitted to the hospital in Idaho and asked if we could get our money back and she said no you have to cancel 24 hours in advance. I said even for emergencies and she said it depends on her bosses mood. How ignorant is that. Needless to say we did not get our money back.

No frills with a reasonable rate. Facts: close to the airport with a free shuttle. Free breakfast. Close walk to the the UVA tram. You want a fancier hotel, go downtown and pay much more. I was happy since the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

The free breakfast is a lie if you have more than two people. It's limited to only two people per room, so families beware. Swimming pool is awkward and uncomfortable to use since it's right in the lobby. Staff was okay but didn't really seem engaged. Hot water was literally scalding, my kids almost burned themselves. Rooms are relatively clean but dated and painted the cheapest whitest of whites, to the point they hurt your eyes. Four bath towels but only one hand towel provises. Time and time again, it just felt like the tried to find lots of little ways to skimp on service. For the price and a supposed three-star rating, I expected more. Definitely won't be staying here again.

Stayed for a night with parents. Courteous staff. Airport shuttle service is available — just need to inform the front desk upon arrival at the airport. Complimentary breakfast served at the adjoining Chinese restaurant with two options — bacon and eggs with sausage, or yogurt with fruit and granola. Service was slow, even for take-out. Room service was also bad. We called for extra towels thrice and they never came.

It would have been okay if my wait for the airport shuttle had not been over one hour! Breakfast was not a buffet but sit down. It was awful! Greasy bacon and potatoes, eggs were just okay. Toast was slathered with some sort of margarine. The person checking me in was very sullen. The morning waitress was obviously tired. The room was okay. There are probably better options.

Bed was comfy but besides that it was not a great place to stay. Even though it says they have a pool it is in a weird spot. It’s right in the lobby so if you wanted to use it then you would be swimming in front of everyone. And breakfast is only free for 2 guests. So if you have 4 people staying in room only 2 of them will great free food. It’s plated and you only get to choose between 2 options. And they don’t give you much. Also their were bugs in the bathroom. Definitely won’t stay here again.

A little dated furniture but excellent room layout. Great bang for the buck. Has clean safe pool hottub and connected bar/restaurant. I'm not Mr hotel experience but I've paid a lot more for a lot less before.

The hotel is very quaint. There is a transfer, but no one answered the preliminary letter. On arrival at the airport, we called the Hotel three times, but the shuttle did not pick us up. As a result, I had to take a taxi. The room is old, but can sleep. Breakfast is normal, hot, give 2 options to choose from.
If you arrive late, the hotel will not be able to eat, the restaurant closes in 22:00, and the nearest place is 1, 5 miles.

Rooms need refurbishing. Issued key to someone to my room who was not the payee on the room, without asking me, who did pay for he room. Have to ask for towels. They immediately charge your cc for full cost plus $100 for deposit which they don’t disclose and claim 72 hour before they issue correct billing. Breakfast food lacking anything eatable and charge extra for something simple as OJ. Disappointing to say the least. Would not recommend.

Very friendly staff. My flight came in late. This is a good place to spend a night before going on my trip. It's very close to the airport and they do offer airport pickups. I booked a car at the airport. They sent me back to the airport to pick up my car the next morning. I didn't have to get a taxi and pay extra fee for that.

I loved this place. Right in Salt Lake. Loved watching the planes take off. Clean room. Asian food restaurant in the hotel. Has a shuttle to the airport and will do wake up calls.

We were very disappointed in our stay last night at Airport Inn. The front desk staff was very friendly and were very accommodating in letting us check in early. We chose this hotel for the affordable price and indoor pool which my kids were so excited to use. I verified with the front desk that the pool was open and let them know we would be going in right away. We promised to take our kids swimming before a show we had tickets to see that night in SLC, and had carefully planned in a short swim before we got ready. The pool was okay, much smaller than the pictures show, but we were the only people there so it worked great for us. We dried off and went back to our room to take showers and get ready before we needed to leave. I turned on the shower and let it run for at least 5 minutes — it was FREEZING cold! I finally called the front desk and they told me that their hot water boiler had been down for the afternoon and that there wouldn't be any hot water until it was back on — although they said it should only be about 5-10 minutes longer. About 30 minutes later I tried the water again — no hot water at all! At this point I was very frustrated because we had our night planned out without much wiggle room, and this inconvenience was putting us very behind. I searched other hotels in the area and found one that would meet our needs, and we were ready to pack up and go so we could all take showers and get ready.

I was very impressed by this hotel. Came into town for a concert and this was the closest to the venue and for a great price. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows. Decor slightly dated but I’m not picky and I must say probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. Made fresh in the restaurant with complimentary coffee. So glad it wasn’t one of those buffet style breakfasts with the powdered eggs in a hotel pan. This was great. Definitely will be back!

It was nice. A little old. Nice people. The pool is in the main lobby, which I thought was a little weird. But overall it was a nice stay.

Used this hotel because I was getting in to the airport so late. I needed a place to stay cheap before my airbnb rental started. The airport shuttle was handy and worked good. The room and whole hotel were dated but comfortable. There surprisingly was an indoor pool. I would stay here again if I needed a quick place but not more than one night.

Room was clean and bed was comfy with friendly service. Room was straight from the 90s (including the TV) but not bad. Pool/hot tub gave me bad vibes while using it (didn't use it long) and it is in the lobby and was probably my biggest complaint.

Good service, the breakfast service included is great, close to the airport and to the city, if it's worth it. We loved.

Facilities are not new but are very clean, front desk staff is also very warm. The best thing about this is that the restaurant downstairs is great and the owner is from Taiwan.

I can not give this place a star. I will never stay here again nothing to say good staff, rooms all-around nothing good even the price was high for what you get. I will stay sleep better in my car. Staying in a motel 6 would be better.

Must of had the worlds heaviest person above me as the floor creaked all night. Other than this, the room was clean, and the complimentary breakfast is much better than what you’d get at other compatible hotels. I think it was worth it for that alone. Also, cheaper than most adjacent places!

Smoked in room — Not smoke free and desk didn't care. Skimpy (2) on amenities and towels, only soap and shampoo. Noisy Airport loud and Housekeeping wakes you at 8 AM!

We got 4 rooms for one night … pretty good price. Until we checked in and surprise surprise $100 incidental charge for each room and then they tell me it will take 3 days for it to be put back in my bank. Ok so I have stayed in way nicer hotel. The most I have paid for incidentals were $50. And was returned at check out. My advise don’t stay here. The smell of chlorine reeks through out the whole building. Not very nice at check in and very disappointed in the whole thing… u would have a nicer stay at a motel 6 down town!

Best deal around. Very close to airport. Great shuttle service. Clean, updated rooms. Good food. Very helpful staff.

Huge rooms, right at the airport with free transfer shuttle, pool right in the lobby with access to the "restaurant" (mediocre Chinese restaurant), where there is also breakfast.

What an awful experience. Note to the owner: I highly recommend you provide ALL staff with fire safety training including how to properly maintain a smoke detector and on the importance of following fire safety regulations. Read further for details: We arrived exhausted and ready to sleep… then the smoke detector started chirping. The front desk staff was unable to fix it and said that there was nothing they could do; they were fully booked and the maintenance staff had already left for the day. An hour later we were called and told that they had another room ready. The room was NOT clean: it reeked of what can only be described of as tobacco chew and some sort of overwhelming aftershave. I went to the front desk and asked what else we could do and the level of customer service was appalling. I was told that the only other option would be to go back to the first room with the chirping alarm (Owner: I was explicitly told by your front desk staff that we could DISABLE THE SMOKE DETECTOR ALARM — — violating state and federal fire safety regulations). I called the third party who we booked through and got a free relocation to the Radisson. Never staying at the Airport Inn Hotel again.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. TV worked. Airport shuttle was efficient. Didn't get to try the breakfast as I was out so early to catch my flight. Giving only three stars because the Wifi did not work worth a darn.

It was actually a pretty good place for the price. I was there for one night with a teammate before we caught our flights the morning after our convention. The staff was friendly, despite someone having a fit in their faces just as we arrived. The room was very clean & the beds were very comfy. We were also pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was asian after breakfast! Lol. The servers were really bubbly & friendly too. The bad: they could use some new pillows, & the pool/spa really was dirty looking, & I'd recommend using the in room coffee maker, as the lobby coffee was lukewarm. Other than that, ir was fine. It's a decently priced, clean & friendly place to lay your head when you need to be close to the airport! My teammates & I will be back!

Stopped for an overnight stay on a road trip from Denver to San Francisco. Room was great for the price. Clean, quiet room, comfortable beds. Would stay again.

The room was average but very clean and had basic amenities. The breakfast was spectacular, and our waitress was wonderful. Best home style country breakfast potatoes. The hotel front desk was not very friendly at all… They were quick but dismissive, no smiles or helpful hints. Encountered two different desk attendants (evening and morning) but both behaved in the same lackluster way. Everything else was great though.

We love this hotel! It is our second time staying here and both times the staff has gone above and beyond to meet our expectations! Special thanks to Alisha at the front desk for her eagerness to make sure we had a great room at a great price on such short notice! She really made us feel important and special!

The location is nice, off the main roads so it is quiet, but within a very short distance of everything. Rooms are clean, decently furnished, and reasonably priced. Breakfast vouchers being included was a nice addition to the stay, since they were for the actual attached restaurant and not just continental. Small pool and hot tub, and they are oddly placed basically in the lobby, but still better than none at all. All in all, a very worthwhile three night stay.

Okay. For what it's worth, this place serves its purpose of being a place to crash while being really close to the airport. The hotel is located right off the main terminal drive to the airport so very easy to get to and from. Onsite, the parking situation could be better. I recommend to be there early on in the day since by nightfall only double parking is left. We stayed for just one night, but I'm assuming this is the usual for them given how tiny the parking lot is. Walking in, there's a concierge to the left and the breakfast restaurant to the right. There isn't much of a lobby, just an indoor pool that takes up any potential seating space. If you don't watch your step, you might find yourself in there! The room we got was fairly small, but it did fit a king size bed with room for a small table. The space was clean, though definitely could use better lighting, but overall tolerable. I have to say the hotel staff was very accommodating. We had food that required refrigeration and since the room we had didn't come with a refrigerator, they were happy to store our products in the hotels refrigerator. In the morning we were able to use our breakfast tickets at the breakfast diner located inside the hotel. The restaurant is full service, but doubles as the hotels "free breakfast" marketer — you have the option of a few prefixed breakfast menus as part of your stay. The food was decent — we chose the yogurt, fruit, and English muffin combo.

The airport inn hotel is right next to the rental car place. It made it super convenient when I had to get up at the crack of dawn, drop off the car, and load the shuttle to the airport. The building is a little run down but the rooms were clean. Only found one empty socket to charge my phone in my room though.

This hotel is great for its proximity to the airport. When we've stayed here we have had a commentary breakfast. See if you receive that with your stay. The hotel staff is friendly, along with the restaurant staff. The indoor pool is nice and the hot tub is hot. The rooms are simple and smoke-free. Note: the power outlet situation is poor. If you need to charge a device it's going to have to be out of the way. So, pack an extension or leave it over night. If you fly out of SLC and stay here they give you a discount on parking and will shuttle you to and from the airport. A really decent hotel for the price.

I had booked a room at this hotel for 8 nights, My room was clean and quite. The free Wi-Fi was good enough and got the job done. There is a 100$ deposite which I am told will be refunded once I check out. Morning free breakfast is ok, the options are limted and if you want to get something other than the 2 options they serve, then its no longer free. The one major plus for me was the free shuttle service to and from the airport. The staff is nice and courtious. Overall I would recommend this place.

We made reservations and somewhere in their works our reservation was changed. We showed up and had no room. They found us a room but of course we had to pay for it and for the room we didn't stay in. The next morning when we checked out and left the hotel we noticed they charged our bank account a extra$100 after we had checked out and left. When we called they said it was a deposit in case there was damage to the room. Shouldn't this be something that they should tell you ahead of time? let's not forget the gentleman in the very small hot tub with his shorts pulled to the side and his rear end up to the jets. You would think the staff would have said something but they just shook their heads. Worst place ever.
we travel to Utah alot more medical visits. We will be finding someone else to give our business to.

The hotel is clean and camp. There's a pool and a jacuzzi in the lobby. The restaurant is Chinese. If you want to eat something else, there's an American bar and grill or Radisson.
The room is clean, absolutely minimalistic. No fridge. Receptacles are at least as well.

I would not give this hotel more than 1 star. They wouldn't print out plane boarding passes because "they were low on toner". The keys to the room required reprogramming several times. The breakfast was served ice cold by wait staff talking on a cell phone. They don't offer any printed receipt for your stay. Your reservations made months previously is supposed to serve as your receipt. The place a $100 hold on your credit card and then won't give you a zero balance receipt on checkout.

Seemed like it took forever to get to motel. The hallway carpets had bad stains on them. A little run down. But the bedding seemed clean and I slept well. Need new mattresses.

Although the hotel is rather old, the facility is really clean and the beds are very comfortable. Considering the cost of the hotel stay, complimentary breakfast, proximity to the freeway, I will definite come back. Also, when we arrived at 1:30 am, the staff was nice and very helpful.

You get what you pay for. I will describe our stay briefly… we get our room and go in to find that none of the light switches will work. We stumble around in the dark for a while until we finally figure out that all the lamps have been unplugged. Go into the bedroom and there is an extension cord running along the wall to provide power to the nightstand… The carpet looks like it was put in in the 80s. There is a shower inside the bedroom for whatever reason. I guess for a romantic bath with a significant other or something. The bed was fine. Wake up the next day and try to take the elevator down but it doesnt work so we decide to take the stairs which are also pitch black. My girlfriend had to use her cell phone light to help me see as we carried our bags down. The staircase spits us out in the downstairs restaurant. I felt like I was in some weird horror movie hotel or something because everything was dark. There is also a pool in the lobby. This place is weird as hell. Funny thing is I would probably stay again because its cheap and there are shuttles to the airport but I guess Im a weird guy. If you find something else for around the same price I'd say go with that if its near the airport and offers a shuttle. Oh and to top it all off they will charge your card 100 bucks for "incidentals" but not tell you that. It takes 4 ish days to get removed. Nothing in this hotel is even worth 100 bucks.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. I really loved the way the room was laid out. It had the front room with a couch, table, tv, microwave, coffee maker and sink. The bedroom had a comfortable king size bed, a very nice jet tub that was very relaxing, a great sink and a nice TV and nightstands. The restaurant's food was great and so were the waitresses. I highly recommend this inn. My fiance and I will be back!

Very clean and quiet. The decor is dated but is a clean a room as I've enjoyed. Staff is also very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.

For $60 bucks, I loved it. It's perfect for a night or two. Fast and friendly service, a nice little pool, VERY comfortable bed and plush bedding. Complimentary coffee, extended parking for a small fee and free airport shuttle. Anyone who hates this place must expect it to be a luxury resort or be a frickin' snob.

So many little things in the room didn't work that you count on: Hair dryer, alarm clock, no outlets, although they say they have Wi-Fi — I couldn't connect so I had to create my own hotspot with my phone. I didn't swim, but the pool was filthy.

Best value of any hotel I've stayed. Clean and quiet room, good and free made-to-order breakfast, free shuttle to and from the airport, and generally good service. Can't beat the price. Loved my stay.

My husband and I had a horrible experience with their customer service. They have horrible communication skills with their customers involving their shuttle service to and from the airport. They did not have enough space in their 10 passenger van to accommodate all the customers waiting at the airport. When I called the hotel to let them know that we were ready to be picked up, the staff member told us to wait outside at the shuttle pick up and she'll let the driver know. She could have told us that the shuttle was packed and needed several trips to take everyone to the hotel. That way, we could have called a cab to shorten the transportation time to the hotel. The next morning shuttle was just as bad. We missed our scheduled shuttle because of missed communication with the front desk staff once again. The staff member told us to get on the next shuttle. So we waited. Only to find out that it too was packed. Instead of telling us this (since you need to sign up for the shuttle service) we wasted our time waiting and almost missed our flight. Never again will I stay here.

Fantastic. Clean and comfy. King size bed was a treat. Currently parts are being renovated, which will make it even better. Amazing free hot breakfast included at restaurant in hotel.
