Overall a great experience at a great price; unfortunately no single rooms available, which was the case everywhere else. Quality to be expected for a 2 star but it was decent and we had a pleasant stay. Would recommend again for anyone on a budget like us.

Dirty and just plain disgusting. Continental breakfast was just waffles, toast or cereal with warm milk that has been sitting out on a counter. The whole place smelled like weed. The hot tub was broken, the door locks are broken so anyone can just come and go. There were a ton of vagrants just hanging around inside and out. The beds are hard as cement. Might as well just sleep on the floor. It was horrible and I will never stay here again!

Staff was rude and unhelpful. I had to pay up front a $100 deposit that now wont come off my card for 7-10 business days, just because of their shady customers! The pool chairs are all busted up so you can't even lean back on them! We asked for extra towels for the pool and for the room, but they said they didn't have any, and this was in the middle of the week (Tuesday)! It's also in a grungy part of town and there are lots of scary people hanging around the parking lot. Then at the breakfast, there was only 2 kinds of cereal, no fruit, and the waffle makers didn't even cook the waffles all the way, still liquidy in the middle. So we had to make new ones and leave them on like 20 seconds after the timer went off so we weren't drinking the batter! And when we brought up each of these concerns, the staff's whole attitude was like "well that's just the way it is, so deal with it". They weren't apologetic or anything, they would just say, "yep that's just the way it is".

The hotel is smoked, put exactly 2 towels for the shower, the towels are old, it's time to change 10 years, for breakfast no yogurt, no buns, nothing. Disgusting, crossed out forever off the list.

Night desk dude is super cool, I locked myself out of the room and he was very helpful. He remembered my full name and room number, even though it had been three nights since I originally checked in. The guy was able to make me a pair of new keys without having to see my I. D. Since it was locked in the room as well!

I was very happy with my stay the staff was very courtious and the my room was clean. I will recommend it to any and all my friends visiting.

The accommodations were fine but the staff was surely and hard to work with. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Definitely not up to par with the hotels in the area.

The Gm is a complete jerk. The front desk girl has zero customer service skills. We stayed less then 4 hrs because we could not get any sleep. They stuck us right next to the stairs! When we asked for a partial refund, they flat out refused. We didn't touch anything besides 2 towels. We brought our own pillows and 2 blankets. The GM took it upon himself to email me and tell me how wrong I was for calling the corporate offices. I asked him to leave me alone and he proceeded to email again. I do not recommend staying here.

Worst days in ever… most discusting room. Breakfast was a joke. Tryed to leave and asked for a refund and was yelled at by the loser who was working the the desk and was refused a refund.

The room was nice enough but everything else was terrible. The first night the cops were called for domestic abuse, the second night starting from 1am until we checked out there was constant yelling and cursing that we could clearly hear. Just a bad part of town I guess. Not worth the room for the uncomfortableness.

Just stayed for one night off of hotwire. Cheap and pretty nice. Sheets were clean, bathroom was clean, spacious room. Free breakfast, though it was just waffles, toast, and cereal. Overall, great for the price.

Carpet missing a large segment and has gross crunchy stains every where, no TV remote, had others staying in a different room and it was the same, holes in the walls, 1 of 2 keycards did not work. Lock on door to parking lot does not lock and homeless people were laying in the hallways. Toilet runs until you wiggle the lever. The toilet paper holder was melted like someone tried to use it as a pipe. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. If I wasn't with another party I would demand a refund and leave. EDIT: this morning went to take a shower, no cold water, only hot which was too hot to shower. Other party realized window was stuck open in their suite and had to move rooms. Noticed blood below mirror on wall and silly string on walls and ceilings. Room 233 broken window, room 237 blood on walls and no cold water. Went to checkout and no one was in the lobby. The only positive reviews are from Trip advisor and are for the chain not this particular location.

The rooms are large and clean… but beds are hard, needs to be updated and bathroom needs new hardware, breakfast needs improvement. Hotel is dirty and hallway smells like marijuana even though it says its a nonsmoking hotel. A lot of transiants hang outside the Hotel, sometimes find them sleeping in the hallways by the side entrance. Oh… and there locks don't work so they can come in and roam the hallways at night. Also find them in the breakfast room eating in the morning. This place is not a hotel… more like a motel. They have people who live in this hotel and most of them are weirdos. Stayed a week here only because we paid online and we couldnt get a refund. I guess you get what you paid for… website needs to update there info about this place. Do not recommend this place to anyone!

Absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed. Staff is rude. Rooms are dirty. Amenities listed are not available. Unsecure, secondary entrances are not locked and let transients enter at will. Breakfast area is disgusting and not stocked properly. Save your money and find anywhere else to stay. This place is dirty and unsafe.

The hot tub was posted as 'out of order' during both days of our stay; At no point in either the reservation nor the check in process was there ANY indication that the property did not allow ANY visitors whatsoever, yet outer/side entry doors were posted with printed signs stating this policy… However the young lady who checked us in was wonderful!

Location is decent, but you might scrap when entering or exiting the the parking lot. Hot water is a kinda week and the microwave can a bit frustrating. The vending machines available have a rather dismal selection and are on the more expensive side. The ac/heating unit is in the room could use repair, front panel was missing parts and it wasn't very warm when set to maximum. The beds were Very firm, I'd advise against falling into them. Beyond that it was a typical experience.

This place likes to take your deposit. So don't. Doit.

This place is freaking terrifying. There's a bunch of tweakers and homeless people that hang out around the hotel. It's for sure a type of voucher hotel so lots of homeless and druggies stay here. The entire hallway smelled like weed, and the side door into the place that's supposed to only open if you have a room key is broken, so whoever feels like coming in can come right in. As a female I would NEVER stay here alone or with another female friend. I only felt somewhat safe bc my husband was with me, but even he didn't want to stay here. We checked out within 2 hours of checking in.

Visited many times. Ownership has changed. Ask to stay on the 2nd floor (North side). Most rooms on the lower level are in need of repair. Newly painted and resurfaced Jacuzzi. The continental breakfast has also improved greatly. Room prices are high considering location and little amenities but typical for this part of Salt Lake City.

I have enjoyed my stay here. I have received great service, rooms are clean. The price point is awesome! I enjoyed the jacuzzi and I racked up Wyndham reward points while here! The one downside is the drug traffic in the parking lot. If you keep to yourself, there is not a problem.

Clean, fairly priced for what they offer. Super strict no smoking policy ($250 fine) that other guests seem to ignore, but the smell didn't bother me that much, as a former smoker myself. I think they're more concerned about pot smoking, since it's so close to the Nevada border so 420 friendly beware. Breakfast also super skimpy, just cereal, bread & waffles. For the price, worth it though.

Room was clean but in need of many repairs and old. Open wall plates. Razor stuck in an opening behind the toilet. There's many strange and suspicious people hanging around and at all hours. Made me wonder if it's a voucher hotel. Many noises early in the morning kept waking me up. Thin walls. Exterior door locks were inoperable. Homeless using the laundry facilities begging for quarters. Parking lot poorly lit and near interstate makes it a prime theft target. No visible security guards or cameras. It was the cheapest hotel around and yet not worth it.

Didn't like the fact the room door had to be lifted up to lock. The room smelled really old. Parking was horable.

Stained carpets in the hallway, people cussing at each other and throwing phones in the stairwell, the room was disgusting, carpet was ripped up in the corner, beds stunk and had a huge poop-like stain on it, carpets were sticky. We asked for our money back and the giy says "I can get you a regular room". What?! Is he a slum lord? We left quick.

THEIVES! BEWARE! We were working in the area and finished a day early. Went to the front desk at 6:00 a. M. And said we are leaving. Before we even asked about it, the desk clerk stated he would not refund the third nights fee. I'm am sure they rented it out again. I thought because we chose a Day's Inn, I could expect comfort, friendliness, well maintained furnishings and appliances. I was wrong. Homeless people abound. Found one sleeping on the hallway one morning. The lock to the outside door didn't work so anyone could get into the hotel. Very unfriendly staff. No elevator. My room was sub par. The shower curtain rod was missing a screw and about to fall off. They had replaced the vanity in my room but didn't bother to paint the drywall repair or patch a 2 ft. X 2 ft. Hole in the carpet where the old vanity previously stood. The hair dryer didn't work. The security lock on the door did not work. The furnishings were old and tattered. I went to turn on the floor lamp and the inside lining was dried and brittle and broke apart. The carpet was stained. The couch had no springs and I almost ended up on the floor. If you don't value your life, safety, money, comfort or possessions, go ahead and stay here. But if you do, go anywhere else but here.

At first appearance this place comes screaming at you "beware". Infestation of some weird people abroad, (I've seen weird), I'm from so. Cal. If you can get by the people outside in this vicinity the rest of the moral isn't too bad. Old rooms in need of professional hands. Half ass remodel. Dirty windows, fridge dilapidated. Same with micro. Newer TV, beds are ok, and a bit pricey for this condition. The pool is nice the spa is scalding hot, breakfast is the usual — just a cold shot or waffle. Maid services are above the realm and scope of everything else. Courtesy goes a long way. Also the tram train is stationed close close, so if your footing around, the tram is a nice alternative.

Transients and drug trafficking nearby, but there's also a great Mexican Restaurant next door. My room had no TV, a burnt out bedside light that never was fixed despite my request. They're busy at the front desk with people in and out all night. Family operation.

The safety doors are unlocked. A guy traded size 11.5 Jordan tennis shoes for 2 nights stay here. I tried to request my money back after I saw the trade. I was put in a handicap shower room and asked for a bath tub room, but he said he could not refund. There is not a security bar on the window. While the room is clean, I would never recommend anyone stay here.

Very quiet. Doors that normally have a key card to get in were not locked though. Window had no safety whatsoever. No screen or lock so it can't be fully opened. Had a funky smell when we got there. Not like cigarettes just like an old room or weird deodorizer spray. Pillows were small. But overall the experience wasn't bad for being under $100 for a night.

I really liked this places compared to some of the other places I have reviewed. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was great. I love waffles. The room was very clean. We woke up late on our check out day even and the staff was very understanding. The only thing I can even think of to mention that was even negative was that there was a lot of shady types always hanging out in the parking lot and cops that were patrolling at night.

It's the worst place I have never had in my life! I cleaned the table and bath room for myself at least twenty mins since all the dust cover up. Too bad experience!

Went in and the room was cockroach and ant infested with the strongest smell of chemical cleaner I have ever smelt. Left immediately and drove the 20 hour drive back home since I'd rather pull an all-nighter than stay in that dump.

Easy to find… Not the greatest area in salt lake, so if you can find something better… DO IT!

I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes before someone came to help me. The microwave beeped all night like an alarm clock, finally had to unplug it. Wi-Fi was super slow. Didn't like my stay. Never going back.

COCKROACHES! Checked in, went to get a bite to eat, took a bath, then lights out beddie-bye. Not 5 minutes pass before feeling something crawling on me, flick the lights on and wife screams. COCKROACHES were all over us, and the headboard was crawling away… less than 3 hours spent there total in room 120 and we asked for our money back which was graciously denied. In lieu they wanted to move us to the room above where we just were. WORST hotel experience of my life (and I've slept in some real dives before). Just be warned if you are looking to stay here you might want to make sure that the continental breakfast isn't moving…

It is a very dark place with what appears to be a lot of shady looking guest. It's not as bad as Discovery Inn but it is sketchy at times. Its a decent place but wouldn't recommend any extended stays here.

The toothless old scag at the front desk must be a magician. She made up her own prices out of thin air. Then, when she saw me get out some money, she whipped out her calculator and conjured up more fees. All this, while crackheads in pajamas flowed in and out of the tiny lobby. No thanks!

The worst place I ever stayed, very noise, not very clean, bathroom looked horrible.

Wi-fi is super slow but overall a good place.

The price was the only great aspect to this hotel. The front desk attendants were responsive and dutiful. The room was just adequate with some necessities left unchanged or cycled, and I am not even a regular hotel guest and noticed things (i. E. Laundry bag, missing lampshade that looked torn off). The coffee filter was atrociousness and had filth floating around in the reservoir and pump. The breakfast was pathetic, the days inn corporation should really come in and fix this place. Other days inn that I have been too were very good places, but not this one. Poorly managed, area looked rough.

Worse place ever to stay. So many druggies everywhere. Nastiness. Constant smelling like weed. I went there cuz I thought it would be better than the others. Boy was I wrong. People constantly asking me for money cigarettes or beer. Worse hotel ever.

This hotel doesn't even deserve a star. We didn't even make it to the room after checking in and driving around the area which was sketchy we decided to get our money back. Unfortunately we were charged a nights stay since we didn't cancel ahead. There was a man drinking alcohol in the hotel entrance on the outside, kids running around, a lady standing in the corner. I would not recommend this place to anyone! The front desk recommended a Mexican restaurant across from the hotel which was disgusting inside, we walked right out. The picture on the website is totally false the hotel was behind a gas station, dirty looking. I was really surprised a Days Inn looked so horrible! Stay away from midvale Utah hotels. We ended up at a comfort inn in draper Utah, even the front desk stated that midvale was sketchy.

They are RACIST I walked into the lobby the manager asked me what did I want, I asked for a room, he told me he wasn't renting me a room. I have reservations I told him, he refused my service and told me to contact Expedia if I want a refund The place looks nothing like the picture and the lobby has a nasty smell.

One word will sum this hotel up. GROSS! Here is the master list — mold in bathroom, filthy; carpet, light switches, door knobs, bathroom, floors, carpet, and counter tops. Mattress was like a rock! The stench the room created is etched into my memory for life. Mix between smoke, mold, and urine. The windows would not open to air out the room. Had to bring in my car freshener to make it through the night. There were non English speaking men drinking heavily in the front/parking area making me feel very uncomfortable leaving my car parked over night. There were random women going in and out of the hotel with the intoxicated men. I could honestly go on about how filthy this place was. Last thing. Every electoral outlet was so used and worn out nothing would stay plugged in! Gross, frustrating, and a huge waste of $70.

My experience was very bad! I booked my reservation online and there was an error while booking. I called and spoke with a hotel employee and was told, No worries just come on in and we will take care of it. You will not be billed anything more than you were already billed online. My card was then billed an additional charge. I called the hotel and was told that my card would be credited back the additional amount. Card was never credited. Called again to just have someone argue with me and tell me I was wrong and not getting any credit! Will never stay here again and will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Been here over 4months good people nice cleaning ladies expensive though.

We got there and walked in the room. Disgusting. The room wasn't even clean and smelled horrible. We ended up switching rooms because we couldn't get a refund which was a big mistake. I never slept on such a horrible bed. I wouldn't stay in a days in ever again if I was paid to.

1. BLOODY BOOGERS on the wall next to the toilet! 2. Mildew smell on shower curtains can easily be eliminated with little effort. Not so here though. 3. Maid Service doesn't make the bed. That is a first for me. 4. If I place my dirty towels in the tube, it is a universal sign to launder, not to just hang back up on the rack. Have A Nice Stay. Away.

Grungy. Smelly. Wifi sucked. It was $120 a night. Not worth a penny more than $60/night. Spoke to the manager and they offered no discount for their crappy Wi-Fi service. The foot traffic around the hotel is also highly questionable. Not their fault, but you should know that.

This place was disgusting! I was trying to find a hotel for my Mom to stay close to our temporary housing arrangement in the Sam Moritz Apartments. The guy was pleasant enough at the check-in, but I was already concerned looking at the outside of the hotel. The room floor was almost black from dirt, there was a hole in the interior wall, the nonsmoking room smelled of smoke and the exterior sheet had burn marks/holes on it, the interior sheet still had lipstick marks, the bathroom looked as if it wasn't ever cleaned. But hey they serve free breakfast in the morning. We threw the key under the door and gladly paid twice as much to find a better situation up Fort Union Blvd. Stay away.

What HORRIBLE Management! We stayed here the night before my 7 yr. Old had surgery and requested a late check out since her surgery wasn't until 1. Get home and notice a double charge on my account. I called to talk to the office and the manager was a complete juvenile about everything. I've heard more intelligence come from a 4 yr old. He said since we didn't OFFICIALLY check out that they considered it a 2 day stay. Then there's the cleanliness. UGHHHH! We most definitely won't be back.
