DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is filthy. I stayed here recently for a school function and the moment I walked through my room, my shower was dirty and clogged. My carpet is dirty, my bed was falling apart, there is dust everywhere and dirty stuff on the walls. Looks like they haven't cleaned in a while. I reported this to the front desk and I had to make multiple attempts to have someone unclog my shower. They didn't clean it because they said "it's glue from the bath mat and it won't come off" they offered to cover it up with another bath mat. My classmates reported black mold in their rooms, dirty underwear, dog food, nearly everyone in my class had negative things to say about this place! On top of that I had makeup stolen from my suitcase. I definitely made sure it was not anywhere else, I did not want to falsely accuse anyone but it was defiantly stolen. I reported it to the front desk. They said they looked at the security cameras and the housekeeper didn't come out of my room with anything but cleaning supplies. I told them I don't believe them. I asked if I could see the security footage and they asked me to pay the $50 fee for seeing it! I am appalled. I was not only disgusted with this place but I was disrespected and lost $45 worth of my makeup. I asked the front desk if I could get a refund for my stay and they declined. I am in touch with corporate, this place needs to be shut down.

Complete false advertisement! Drove from Washington State to Salt lake to stay Baymont and was completely disappointed with everything. Toilet was plugged, bathtub was plugged, smoke alarm busted, light didn't work in room, and the rug wasn't even placed all the way. The pool wasn't open like it said it would be. They're dirty! The rugs are filth and the smell in that hotel wreaks! My first time staying there and had to checkout right away because it was that bad! This is not a family oriented place. I couldn't even leave my kid's side because it's that unsafe. They're also holding parties In the dining area which I think is so inappropriate being that were served breakfast the very next morning around dirty floors. There's a major need for housekeepers & maintenance that care for their job and others. I'm so disappointed by Wyndham because I always thought they were a good & honest company but not anymore. I wish I could post pictures.

Pretty good area. The staff is helpful, and not rude at all which is refreshing. Big rooms, good prices, and kid friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Be vigilant. I had stolen things from the guest laundry. The call of the police did not give results.

IF YOU WANT TO GET KICKED OUT AND STILL CHARGED… book! Today I ended up checking into to the hotel and 5 hours later I was being kicked out. The housekeeper knocked at my door telling me I had to leave. I didn't understand why I booked this room for the whole night. She kept saying "It doesn't matter. " I was very confused, so I went down to the front desk and I kept getting interrupted being told "doesn't matter. " What really made it worse was he smiled while saying it. Even asked to charge me twice to stay. Kinda sketchy. I didn't do anything wrong. I was polite to everyone working there because I know what it's like to be in the hospitality industry. But it sounds like they didn't care. Not worth the price mold in the shower, shower knob wasn't connected to the wall. Terrible experience. Terrible hotel. Terrible staff. But oh well guess that's Salt Lake City hospitality.

Not bad overall. Love the large jacuzzi tub. Could use better staff: dirty bottom sheet (which overnight desk clerk changed, but didn't inform management in the morning), one dresser drawer stuck closed and another with no handle, faucets very loose in shower and jacuzzi, carpet edge peeling up at bathroom door was stuck down with duct tape.

First of all the room smelled musty and gross. Second, the breakfast is just a bunch of bread products. Third, they said you can't eat in your room in the summer as it causes bugs. Fourth, they advertise a pool but it is broken. Fifth, they advertise an exercise room but both treadmills are broken. Sixth, they say you get a kitchenette. This is only a microwave and fridge, no kitchen. So, you pay for all these things they advertise but none of it is really there. It is over priced and not run well. Anytime we call the front desk for help it either takes them over an hour or we never hear back from them.

This place is okay, rooms aren't the roomest but for the cost, it's tolerable. On the appearance of the room and bathroom included I would rate it out of 1 out of 10 I would give it 7. Front desk employees are awesome. I recommend you give it a try.

Rundown place. Carpet is dirty. They shut down water in the evening for the whole night for "maintenance". When I asked how I could use the bathroom, desk attendant told me that he is "very sorry". I appreciated his sense of humor. By the way, it was not me "doing something in the bushes" — from previous review. I guess that was a victim of another "maintenance". You may name me hero or idiot, and both is correct, but I was patiently waiting through the whole night.

I booked a 5 night stay, was excited about the price. Stayed a total of 30 minutes. Staff was polite, but the bed sheets had stains and I’m pretty sure they weren’t clean. I was walking my dogs and a person was hiding behind a bush beneath a window, I believe doing something I don’t want to know about. There was a baby crib with family clothing in the parking lot. It took 5 minutes for a man to ask me for money, then stayed on the hotel premise and stared at me. I was staying by myself and DID NOT feel safe staying there. When mentioned to the front desk these issues they just said… oh weird. And did not refund my money for the night. Usually have good luck at baymonts, but this time is a h*** no. I do not recommend unless… nope sorry I just don’t recommend.

Slightly above average accommodations. The building was a bit older, but decently maintained. Our room had been painted recently and the bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was OK, with waffles, sausage patties and egg patties in addition to the usual cold offerings. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Firstly, there was a bunch of black mold on the upper corner in the room with the jacuzzi. When the front desk guy came in to fix the t. V that wasn't working I pointed it out to him and his only response was "oh dang. I didn't notice that". No offering to put us in a different room. Also, the counters were sticky, stains all over the floors. The ottoman for the chair was very stained and ripped. The handles for the hot and cold on the jacuzzi are broken. And when we called the front desk about the red spots in the tub he said "I don't know, I think its nail polish". They should be able to clean nail polish out of a tub. Over all disgusting place and they don't care to do anything about it. Hope nobody gets sick from all the mold.

From first glance you can tell its kind of an older building, which in itself isn't entirely a bad thing. I've stayed in older hotels/motels and they've been great. The bigger problems with this one is that. They are more concerned in making more rules and regulations than they are in fixing up things. First there wasn't any key card readers installed on any of the side doors and they were "exit only" with a sign saying "doors will be locked from 11pm to 6am" plus that was only true for the first night we were there, for the second day and night the only way in or out was only through the front door. They had all the side doors completely locked, I and my wife tried going out through the side doors and there was no way of opening them short of completely breaking them. Secondly the continental breakfast was only so so, plus they wouldn't allow us to take it back to our room. The only thing's they had available were bagels, cereal, waffles, coffee, and yogurt. I tried taking 2 bagels back to my and my wife's room and they wouldn't let me, so I had to throw them away. Last but far from least. The cleanliness was little to be desired. We got the Jacuzzi suite which the setup was pretty cool, it had its own separate room with mirrors all around it. On the second night we went to get in the tub. We laid back and looked up at the ceiling and on one side where it and the wall met it was covered in mold. Needless to say it wasn't the best experience we've ever had.

Beds felt old and worn in. There was no comforter on one of the beds. There wasn't a plug to use for the bathtub. At breakfast there weren't any eggs or sausage. You could have a waffle, mini muffins, a bagel, coffee, apples, bread and juice. There weren't a lot of the muffins either. There was a worker there, but she never refilled any of the food. The pillows were comfortable.

The bed was comfortable enough. The sidewalks were icey and snowy and not cleared which is scary when trying to walk in with bulky suitcases! Our room had two full size beds but the bathroom was only stocked with one bath towel. The blow dryer and phone did not work in our room. There were no hangers in room to hang jackets or clothes. Towel rack missing screws and toliet paper holder was falling off. Then there were little things like sheets and pillow cases inside out, no coffee maker, window open and unsecured, and breakfast not being replenished. So if you just need a place to crash for a night it would be fine. For an extended stay l would look elsewhere!

Took over 30 minutes to check in. After getting to our room the keys didn't work. Called front desk and told them the problem. They came down 5 minutes later with the wrong key. 20 minutes later we were put in a different room. Once inside we found dirty towels in the bathroom. When I went to bed I found the sheets were dirty but I was so tired and didn't want to go through the hassel of trying to get in another room, I just slept on top of the bed. I wouldn't stay here again.

Do not stay here… they want 200 deposit for a 50 room. It is not a nice hotel. Customer service is as good as a homeless resident. Then you have to fight to get back your 200 deposit. Never again and possibly not with any Wyndom properties. If they back up this place then they are all like this. Worst hotel. Or should I say Hostel.

Very quiet decent location and the rooms were pretty clean. The best part was that the mattress was very comfortable. The worst part was they intially over charged me I wanted one room they charged me for 2! Then told me I would have to wait up to 7 business days to get that money back into my account.

I had my suitcase and my new printer stolen out of my car in the parking lot of hotel with cameras. Front desk not much help they know nothing. Security is at another facility and couldn’t get to cameras to check of my stuff might still be around. Then they ran my cc and charged $150 2 days after I checked in a day after checking out for a security deposit? Not an awful hotel just a bad area with a lot of people around there parked in campers and Also rooms need a lot of repairs and cleaned better.

It is a very comfortable and clean hotel not smoked. You don't even take alchol.

Just your average lower budget hotel. Although it is by the freeway we didn't hear it during our night. Easy to get to. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms are not very clean and there are a lot of age and maintenance issues showing. Example. The ceiling had a huge yellow stain and was a bit bulging. But, we booked here again because I loved the separate jacuzzi tub room within our last room. The tub was huge and the room was covered in floor to ceiling mirrors (think what you will. ). Unfortunately, when we booked this kind of room again, the faucets were broken on the jacuzzi. Being the handyman he is, my boyfriend fixed them so water would again flow and we began to fill the tub… just to find out that the big hole in the other rooms wall, covered in "oh so chic" duct tape, used to house the electrical fixins for the jets. They very nicely refunded our money so we could check out and go elsewhere. For that, we were appreciative.

Was going to give 3 stars but just to many problems. Lots of cameras makes you wonder about the area — big monitor of 16 cameras at the front desk. Heater sounds like a freight train but did turn room into sauna in no time. Thin walls let in the freeway just outside the building. Curtains do not block all the light. 'breakfast' is barely that but the room is nice. Very nice memory foam bed.

I don't know what most of you are even complaining for if you want a 5 star hotel than fork out a couple hundred or more for one. For the price I think this place was great. Nice big jetted tub huge king size bed and a great staff well almost all of them LOL. Thanks for a peaceful night. You guys are great!

I went to front desk and asked for a blanket. The male manager wasn't busy. The male manager said he'd bring one now. It was longer than 30 minutes. The jacuzzi felt really good. All of the lights were working. The fridge worked, as well as the TV and microwave. The free breakfast is good. I'd recommend they add some protein like eggs, bacon, etc instead of just foods high in carbs.

Great beds, which is a rare find in a hotel! The rest of the room and property had potential but fell short. Room needed a deep cleaning including walls and scuff marks, and a paint job. Carpets needed shampooing, housekeeping and maintenance could step it up. But the comfort of the beds and pillows rate high for me, because I usually wake up sore. Price was good, so overall its a decent value. Not as great as other Baymont properties I have stayed at.

This is the second time we stayed here and this room is worst then the first on. The outlet in the bathroom need to be replaced won't hold the plug to anything and the one under the desk has bare wires so you. Ant plug anything their that is why the clock is not plugged in. The vent in the shower can you gross I don't think they clean it if my housekeepers left it like that they would be fired. The a/c was taped downed so you can't turn it off or on. The mat in the bathtub is coming off too. The TV has brown marks it needs to be replaced. Will never stay here again.

Decor and maintenance of the interiors poor and neglected, room really ugly. Breakfast just enough served in a local ice cream and overly crowded. Good Wi-Fi connectivity and nice staff.

1 star just for the bed, awesome memory foam, 1 star for service the front desk was good, 1 star for amenities like breakfast and the appliances in the room. I could not award the other 2 stars due to maintenance issues and safety concerns. I'd come back for the price and service. A few concerns include the open door to the pool maintenance shed with the chemicals and pumps plus the cloudy pool with chlorine pucks laying around. The faucet was not screwed down to the counter, the light in the bathroom didn't work, there was no smoke detector in our hotel room, there was a tampon and random chairs under the stairs and many rooms were filled with extra junk furniture. I hope this place is remodeling because many rooms had mattresses pushed against the windows and the ceiling, walls and carpet showed signs of wear. The highway wasn't too loud, but the AC was quite loud. The bed was great and the pillows were average.

Honestly doesn't deserve even 1 star. It was disgusting dirty foot prints on the dang wall next to the bed. The Sheets were stained. Hair all over the bathroom hair stuck in the hair dryer. We didn't have only like a half a roll of toilet paper the toilet had a hard time flushing. The ac worked less than half the time it looked like it was going to fall out of the wall. Breakfast was beyond unappealing. I honestly didn't eat nothing but a muffin and coffee and what my boyfriend did eat made him sick. The maids there have no idea on how to clean. I honestly wouldn't stay there again. They need an over haul on all staff and the whole hotel.

People friendly and helpful. Provided us with the size room we needed for our 4 week stay once it became available. Hall and door entry carpets need to be vacuumed — it has been more than a week. Breakfast is good and variety is very appealing. Price is very good for the rooms and amenities offered! Thank you staff of Murray, Utah Baymont. We have stayed with you several times over the last 4-5 years. The dumpster area needs cleaning — bags need to be put in dumpster along with carpet. Dumpster collection needs to come every week. People friendly and helpful. Hallways and carpets in the door entry areas other than the front foyer need good vacuuming.
