Peaceful and quite. I love not hearing other people.

It's a rustic cabin, kind of! Bed, TV, microwave, bathroom, hot water, coffee maker, what else do you need? For people like me that like the outdoors and camping this is great, specially when it's 19 degrees at night! If you're looking for a 5 hotel this is not it!

Noisy calefaction. I used the grill for a late night BBQ. Overall OK for the price.

Good location to stay. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Isolated and not very Tred clean room. The rooms have a Bizar smell. The hotel is a very short stay.

Simple but nice everything since you need shower TV fridge very clean come like to whder.

Woke up to mice in the middle of the night, they apparently lived underneath the sink. Told housekeeping staff about it, they didn't seem to really care. Rather go to the Quality Inn half a mile down the street.

Very expensive! We stayed one night and we paid $167.00. No breakfast, no amenities, very uncomfortable beds. Will never stay again or recommend to anyone.

Chalet style, old TV, cleanliness OK, meals too expensive.

The cabins are very cozy and clean. The TV is an old model but otherwise for 100 dollars the night is rather inexpensive for the area.

Talk about captive audience. Breakfast was terrible. Tasteless eggs (probably prepared hrs earlier). Raw toast (guess just bread), week coffee and expensive. Go hungry and elsewhere.

Absolute no-go. Got the last Cabin down at the Parking lot (looks like a shack with a small turrets on top, not like the other blockhäuschen). The bathroom was not cleaned and schmudellig, everywhere even on the bed was nagetierkot. Between the Windows in the bathroom were x dead insects. It smelled very musty. We asked for a different Cabin or room, we could have a room at the Hotel map. The bathroom was not clean and it smelled again very musty in the room. After we have our travel agent contacted had taken we in the truest sense of the word, the flight and searched for another Hotel. This accommodation I would not recommend anyone.

Pretty close to Bryce canyon. Very small rooms that do not shine for excessive cleanliness. Friendly staff but as hotel in the area believe there is much better.

Clean and neat little log cabin. Bed was a bit squeaky, but comfortable. Kinda cool place to stay. 1 star off for broken shower door in cabin 9.

I traveled to Bryce Canyon with my aging parents in late June 2014 and we met with good fortune at having chosen Harold's Place as our lodging for two nights. Because we were traveling with a pooch, we stayed in a private cabin. I cannot sing the praises of Harold's Place enough! The cabin was charming and rustic, a genuine feel of the Old West. The beds were comfortable and the shower was quite possibly the most amazing shower I have ever experienced. We were able to use the picnic area for one of our meals and it was just so serene and peaceful being out in the beautiful Utah country. Finally, our room was super clean and spacious and well-equipped with coffee with maker, soaps, towels, you name it! Harold's Place has a restaurant well-attended by the Staton family. Mom and Dad "home" cook the meals and their delightful daughter, Kristy, is not only the night auditor, but she runs the restaurant, fetches ice at odd hours, provides local color, and is a genuine warm-hearted person. My mom enjoyed the fish/shrimp and chips dinner while my dad and I each had the grilled chicken. As a "foodie" from Portland, Oregon, I was expecting run-of-the-mill fare, but the Cajun grilled chicken I had was scrumptious. And, my dad is on a salt-restricted diet to which Harold and Cathy Staton staunchly catered. The apple pie was to die for. All of this food was so affordably priced!

Had a wonderful overnight stay at Harold's Place, rooms were large and very clean! Picked up a delicious supper from Kristy at the attached family restaurant and our family had a great sunset picnic at the red canyon just 2 miles from the hotel. I left a very expensive pair of ear rings hidden under the TV stand and did not realize it until 350 miles away. They could have very easily "not have found" them. But Kathy the owner, put them in the mail and they were in North Carolina before I was. Restored my faith in people and honest business owners. I will visit the area again and I will be staying at Harold's.

It's all deep fried food.

Stayed in a cabin for several days while touring the area. Clean, comfortable, plenty of room. Excellent value for this part of Utah, restaurant had good food, breakfast was very good. Friendly and accommodating staff. Only complaint was that there was no Wi-Fi in the cabin, had to go to the motel to check my e-mail.

1. Stay in cabin rather than inn room if available; more privacy and more spacious; both cost the same at $75 plus tax 2. Old TV and expanded basic cable channels but no premium channels like HBO or Showtime. TV is mounted on wall and remote is secured to night stand 3.17 miles from Bryce entrance 4. Attached restaurant gives ten percent discount to overnight guests but I did not try restaurant 5. Bed too soft for my liking 6. Small, covered patio outside each room to sit outside and smoke 7. Only shower but no tub 8. Parking lot is gravel and not paved 9. Kristie is daughter of owner and manages small restaurant; she can be ill tempered and ill mannered 10. Plenty of drawer space 11. You must reserve by phone, fax or postal mail; you cannot book from website.

Very clean room, very nice staff. No frills, but that's not what we stayed here for. I would stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights in a cabin. It is cute, but very basic. There is no hair dryer — so bring your own. The cabin looked very clean upon arrival, but was never cleaned during our stay. They just replace the towels (two very thin towels per day), and kind of make the bed. The staff is very nice and friendly, and the food in the restaurant is good.
