If I could give it a no star rating I would horrible place to stay horrible management.

Great little place, it's clean comfy, and pet friendly. Staff is very friendly and have great humor. Rooms smell great :-)

Quaint, quiet motel on Heber City's main street. Really close to the Homestead and Ice Castles. The rooms are kind-of small, but I'm giving 5 stars because management is super pet friendly, and took time out of their way to look up driving directions to Ice Castles and write them down for us.

It's simple, comfortable and affordable. The MA and PA's feel is rewarding to those of us who just need sanctuary for the night. Thank you to the lady at the front desk you really showed true professional management. I will stay here every time I come through.

It was OK. I didn't like the cigarette smoking smells from nearby rooms. Nice furniture, but some fixtures were dated (window dressing, front door & lock, straight shower curtain bar, round toilet). Not enough power outlets, so you might need to unplug the TV/Wi-Fi/microwave/coffee maker/mini fridge. There were flies in my room, which was annoying and can't really be controlled by the hotel, but I wish there was a Bug-a-salt in the room. The mattresses were wrapped in plastic and I felt like a bed-wetting 4 year-old or potty training puppy. The lady at reception was very nice.

I stayed there once but it's been awhile back. The place seems to have live-ins (rent by the month) now. It's not a nice place. It's close to a everywhere full last resort!

Love this place. It's an older motel, but it's clean, quiet and the staff are great. Priced right! Beds were soft, I slept like a baby and I usually can't do that. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

Stayed 3 nights, 4 days, low cost, great location, friendly staff! Room was clean, heater & cooling fan worked well, good insulation. The staff did not charge me extra when I stayed a few extra hours after check out for my shuttle ride to arrive.

Rate was reasonable. Not the nicest but clean, bed comfortable. Wi-Fi worked ok. Restaurants nearby. Microwave and micro fridge. Donna at the front desk was very helpful in getting me the room.

The room was clean, and it smelled of bleach. Probably the only good thing about it. The bed was rock hard and I was hesitant to sleep under the covers. The next day we went to Walmart and bought a mattress pad that had some padding to it, still didn't help. It was not worth the money.

The guy at the counter was a creep. Tried getting into my room just before 6 a. M. The alarm I put on the door woke me up. I put the alarm on my door because this guy creeped me out that much. I woke screaming as he ran out screaming that he had the wrong room. No, you wanted to prey on the person traveling alone and you crreeped him out so much after he got the room he blocked the door with the chair and slept by a knife. Do not stay here!

Stayed there back around Thanksgiving this year. First off, I'm giving the place 2 stars only because the bathroom seemed kinda clean and there was fresh soap in the room. And, there were a bunch of cable channels I guess. checked into the room, when we walked in the first thing we noticed was an odd smell. Maybe bug spray, maybe formaldehyde? wanted to wash our faces that night, but didn't have any hot water. Ran it for a few minutes and it seemed like maybe it got to a lukewarm temp, but never warm to the touch. the beds were worn past their lives. Sat on the bed that I slept on and thought the springs were gonna shoot out. we had 3 people booked there, and they gave us 2 towels in the room. Walked to the office around 8:30 in the morning and it was closed. Called the number and about 20 minutes later someone showed up with towels for us. there wasn't a doorknob hanger to decline housekeeping, so they showed up the morning of the second day and took all of our towels, while we were away. The next morning, I just opted to use a hand towel to dry off with. i'd recommend sleeping in your car rather than staying here if there isn't any other option.

I had the unfortunate opportunity to stay here in August of 2014. I was too tired to keep driving the last couple of hours home, and the Holiday Inn Express had just booked their last room. They said the only place in town that still had a vacancy was Mac's. I asked the Holiday Inn girl if it was a clean place — her extreme hesitation to answer should have tipped me off. It was horrible. It literally stunk, but we needed to sleep, so I kept trying to psych myself into ignoring how disgusting it was. It was so bad that more than two weeks later, we're still grossed out (My teenager was with me — I feel like a terrible parent for allowing her to sleep in that place). I tried to sleep on top of the ancient mattress and bedding, afraid to crawl in, but I got chilly and and had to give in and get under the sheet. I could not sleep because of the smell, and when I rolled over in the night, I finally figured out that the smell was coming from my mattress. At 4:30 a. M, I couldn't take it any more. We got up, went to the nearby convenience store to buy some NoDoz for me, and hit the road. When we got home, we felt like we should have burned the clothes we'd slept in. I couldn't forget the smell. Never again. We will sleep in my car next time. It was so bad that I'm writing my first internet review in hopes of saving someone else from a horrible night.

They would not under any circumstance honor the rate of $55 that is advertised online so once we paid the $79 and got settled into our room there was an ash tray full of cigarettes and a empty beer in our bathroom. As if that wasn't bad enough my son found 3 dead roaches and once the lights went out about 300 live ones appeared! The front desk said we must have brought them:) HAHA unbelievable. All in all very rude, dirty and unacceptable.

Horrible place. The only light in the room is on the ceiling. The table was wobbly, but it was replaced. The fridge is just barely cold. The heater/ac unit is loud. The neighbors are noisy. There is no TP in the bathroom. (Good thing I brought wipes! ) I have to watch my step when going into the bath or the carpet tacks will bite! The coffee pot did not work but was replaced. Do yourself a favor. Stay somewhere else! After thinking about this for the 4 weeks since I left, I have come to the revelation that my initial opinion was a bit on the bummer side. I stayed there for 2 weeks and have revised my opinion to 'way on the bummer side. ' I was glad to leave.

I stayed here in February 2012 — the room was simple but very clean. For the price, it is a really really good deal — I have stayed in much worse places for a lot more money. Only complaint is that the Wi-Fi signal was so weak that I couldn't even connect.
