Nice comfortable bed, plenty of pillows and blankets.

Being woke up at 4AM an having to walk down 4 flights of stairs for a FALSE FIRE ALARM is no fun! An the front desk person was nowhere to be found while all of this was going on! Unreal! I’m so tired 💤

I brought Clorox wipes to wipe Everything down when I walked in, including the jacuzzi tub. COVID has made me more aware and cautious. No matter what hotel we go to, I will always do that for my husband and I.
The jacuzzi was huge and relaxing. They had a free breakfast buffet in the morning and the best part of that is the sweet woman that greeted us both mornings and then she had a mask and gloves and scooped up whatever food you want to prevent other hotel occupants from passing germs. We stayed on 2/24 & 2/25 and this woman was nice and seemed happy with her job. This is not common in the service industry. It added a personal touch and good customer service.
The room we had had a king sized bed, fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, blow dryer and iron! The air conditioner kept us comfortable. We had a very comfortable room and it was a great escape for us. The location is central in Tyler which made it convenient for us to go to dinner or shopping if we had chosen too.

Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Awesome employees. We live local and have been without electricity going on 30 hours due to the winter storm, we got an upgrade and they let us bring our pets. Definitely recommend.

Convenient to the doctors office, plus staff is friendly.

Very kids friendly, deals well with special needs kids! We will be back!

Hotel manager was super regarding stay for my sons while their dad was in the hospital. Very generous in accommodation and expressed sincere concern regarding my husband’s well being. Highly recommend this hotel!

Not the best experience, not the worst experience. We didn't have to wait long to check in and our room was clean. The breakfast was good, and the attendant make sure nothing was empty and was polite. The housekeeping wasn't 100%, but it was passable. Overall, I would stay again.

Very clean. It was such a wonderful experience. Only thing was my daughter in law found blood on her sheets and had to ask for more sheets. No one wants to make beds when on a trip but all in all very nice place to stay.

Nice looking place outside, filthy on the inside! It was my 1st time in Tyler Tx, and after driving over 6.5 hrs and getting into town at 2:30 am I was ready to rest… From my past stays at the holiday inn (all good) I already knew the bed had my name on it. I checked in, put in a wake up call and headed straight for the bed. Luckily I had set the alarm on my phone because I never got my "curiosity" wake up call. Then when I went to shower and get ready I realized that the room looked cleaner in the dark, than the day. The bathroom had hair from other customers. You could tell the maid had been there, but just to replace towels (maybe) and toiletries. It was obvious they didn't clean. When I brought it to managements attention. He offered me another rm and an apology. If you find a hair in your food, your not going to ask for another item. (cooks dnt like that) you expect a refund. He gave me a discount, but no refund. I really hope this was an isolated incident, my misfortune. But IF you decide to stay here. My only advice is to check your room b4 you lay down. I can only imagine when the last time the linen had been changed. Hope this helps the next traveler out. Michael Perez.

We had 4 people in our room and had trouble getting enough towels and wash cloths each day for us to all shower. When my husband asked the cleaning lady for more wash cloths she said they were running low and could only give us 2. Again we had 4 people in our room. When we asked for a razor that is advertised as complementary we were told they were waiting on a shipment. Also the outside door next to the pool is broken. The handle you push to open the door is missing the end cap and it pinched my sons finger. This experience is right after leaving the Staybridge down the road that had bed bugs. My husband later found out that these "hotels" are owned by the same group. This is not a good area to stay in as far as hotels are concerned.

Check in was quick and hassle free! The room seems clean and the bed is very comfortable. HOWEVER, I paid the higher price for a king room with a jacuzzi tub to relax my aching back. The tub looks like someone tried to repair it. Appears dirty and stained. The jets are practically brown. It looks disgusting so I shall skip the tub and just shower off! Such a disappointment! This is why you get two stars from me. I wish I could post a photo.

The only reason I'm leaving this place one star is because there wasn't an option to leave zero stars. We checked into our room around 6pm. We walked in and the bed was dirty, there were dirty socks and trash on the floor, the shampoo and body wash had been used. We called down to the front desk and she apologized and upgraded our room. We get into the second room and it's hot in the room. The room had 2 AC units on full blast cold and the air that was coming out was lukewarm. We went back to the front desk and this time the receptionist was not happy. She acted as though we should be happy to be upgraded and not worried about the temperature of the room. I am extremely displeased with this experience to say the least.

Clean, spacious room. Super comfy beds. Friendly reception staff. Great pool and hot tub jacuzzi.

The front desk was friendly but the cleaning people was rude. We are a rewards member and get late check outs, the cleaning people woke us up at 830 asking when we would be leaving then came back 2 hours later knocking on the door wanting to know the same thing cause they needed to clean the room. We had a suite which didn't stay very cool either. Will only stay here again if the other holiday inns in the area are booked.

The staff was great, the bed was amazing, the breakfast was excellent, and I even had a real Jacuzzi tub. So why not 5 stars? Because the lights didn't work. Seriously, aside from the desk lamp, I couldn't get any of the room lights to turn on. I guess they were fluorescent or something… But I couldn't find the magic key to illuminate them. My wife asked me to call the desk, but I was plumb tuckered and just wanted to sleep. Hey, at least the room was dark.

Hotel was ok. I only stayed here to visit my brother in the hospital. Definitely no more than a 3-star hotel. Elevators were constantly dirty (spilled drinks, cereal, wet floors, etc. ) but rooms were clean. There was a faint odor in the bathroom as others mentioned but again everything was clean and I had Febreeze as I always do in hotels so I wasn't bothered. The bed was comfy, just what I needed. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and the indoor pool was nice. Check-in/out was speedy, no issues.

Rooms are decent, facilities are good. AC in my room wasn't the best. Still, nice place.

Check-in was fast & easy and our suite was clean and comfortable. Standard Breakfast. This Holiday Inn is a bit dated but I would probably stay there again. My only real negative is that the elevator and hallway was wet all evening into the next morning from swimmers. Overall fair price for what you get. Tip: if you get a suite with a jacuzzi tub, let the water fill over ALL the buttons and then push really, really HARD.

We really enjoyed our stay! Breakfast was good friendly staff as well. We were in town for the Waterpark, and the Zoo for Spring Break! Thanks for everything it was a very pleasant stay!

We had the king suite and payed for 1 night there and checked out the next morning at 9:40 and at 10:20 they charged us an extra $17.25 because we left a washrag that was “heavily stained with grease” it was a face mask that I use at home all the time with a white wash cloth and I never have to use bleach to get it out. Needless to say I was not too happy to see that they charged me and my husband $17.25 for one little wash cloth that was supposedly heavily stained with grease.

This hotel is like my second home do to work. And I can honestly say its a good hotel. The only issue I’ve had is with the complementary breakfast. Its sometimes late. And as of recently the pancake machine broke. But other then that good hotel for what you pay.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. We had a suite that had a whirlpool tub, the problem was the ceiling in the bathroom had major water damage and ants EVERYWHERE! Went and complained to the front desk and was told that he could come spray the room or move me… I chose to be moved.

Everyone was helpful and nice. Breakfast was good. Heater in room was fantastic. No complaints. I'm a happy customer.

The staff has got to be the friendliest around. They genuinely care too! They will bend backwards for you to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean updated and the bed so comfortable I almost didn’t want to get up the next day. Breakfast is well presented and appetizing. Meeting room was pleasant and spacious. Lights and AV weee easy to manipulate.

I was so impressed with the kindness and attentiveness of the person that checked us in. It was so informative. I love that they have their Coffee & Tea open to you at any time the room we got for one night was so beautiful and spacious I really wanted to stay more.

The room and the entire hotel was clean, the staff was super nice, and they had a good breakfast selection. We were there for a concert at Clicks and its walking distance from the hotel so it was great location for us.

Very nice room; it smelled clean, and had a cool Keurig coffee machine with tea and coffee. The AC needs to be updated which is why it was 4 stars instead of 5. The breakfast is awesome as well.

My stay was very pleasant, the staff was respectful and very helpful. Breakfast was a plus with several items to choose from. The rooms are clean and spacious. I will be staying here again and recommend this location.

This newly redecorated hotel was a perfect choice for our three-night stay. Loved the modern decor. Selected this hotel because of advertised tempurpedic mattress which made for a great nights rest. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and Rosa in the breakfast area was especially sweet and accommodating. The hotel was in a great location for all the things we were doing in the Tyler area.

You can always count on a Holiday Inn Express for a great stay, and this particular location exceeds all expectations. Comfortable beds with fresh scented and soft linens, soft bright white towels, beautiful room!
Property has a really lovely pool and the most friendly staff we've come across in our travels.
We'll be visiting again for sure!

Wow that's all I can say if I could give more stars I would the rooms were spotless and service was A+ the food was A+ it was like a home away from home I will definely be back just cause.

Was there for a work meeting. The front meeting room was nice lighting was good ac worked. Quiet room.

The sheets kept coming off of the bed any time you rolled over. I ended up sleeping at the end of the bed. The blankets were so itchy I didn't fall asleep until almost 5 am. We came here to escape our small town and get some relaxation. Not much relaxing was done. The water in the tub runs so slow we had to wait forever for it to fill up. On the plus side, the staff was really courteous.

Couldn't stay, had to leave immediately. When we pulled the covers down to get in the bed, there was hair all over it. The night clerk was really nice, and brought us key cards to room 300. I believe the first room was 302. When we turned the covers down, not only was there hair, but dirt at the foot of the bed. The clerk was embarrassed and very nice, but we told him we just couldn't stay. As we looked around room 300, we could also see that it hadn't been vacuumed very well, if at all. It is a very lovely hotel, nice staff, just not clean.

Nice, pretty clean and decent, but for the price I would think I would not see any dust bunnies, which they were on the night stand. Couldn't get a king size but we got a double bed charged at the same price. Staff was very nice. Good area.

Pleasantly surprised for my two night stay. Tyler looks like a small town on Gmaps to someone from New Hampshire and only third time in Texas. When I saw this four story hotel, I was taken aback as I expected two stories, cramped parking lot and not a lot of square yardage inside the building. The lobby, breakfast area and two meeting rooms were spacious, well maintained and modern. The indoor HEATED pool was clean, well lighted but not a symmetrical shape, the only detractor making it difficult to really swim with no 'leg' room to really open up. The spa and pool both have their own piece of equipment for a disabled person to enjoy the waters, a nice touch. I didn't use the sauna or 24-hour fitness room, but they were available. My room on the fourth floor had an LCD TV with HDMI input (great for hooking up an Ouya game console or Google Chromecast to stream Netflix) and could swivel to face either queen bed. The room was clean, furnished with a small fridge, coffee maker and plenty of lighting. The shower had decent hot water and pressure. Was no vent fan, but almost an irrelevant issue. I checked for bed bugs prior to my belongings touching anything, almost a REQUIREMENT these days, and I found none nor any signs of past issues.

Staff was awesome. Rooms were updated and comfortable. I would definately book here again.

We had a wonderful stay here! The room was really nice and clean. Large tv! Swimming pool! The free continental breakfast was amazing, so many choices. Eggs, bacon, muffins, bagels, cereal, fruit, and more! They also allow pets. Friendly staff. Great stay.
