Every thing is great! Staff very friendly and aimed to be very helpful. The atmosphere is very quiet and pleasant. The rooms are very clean and spacious.

Everything good but charges for parking.

Beautiful hotel. Staff is great. Highly recommend. The location entrance can be tricky so pay attention to the signs. We came in just for the night so most of our interactions were with valet and all of the valet staff were amazing.

We host a conference here most years. The property has improved quite a bit over the last couple of years. The rooms have a good amount of natural light. It's close to a wide range of dining, and has a couple of decent onsite options too. There seemed to be a bit of an issue with my door lock, and I had to go to the front desk 3 times to get new key cards.

Very nice large hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dedicated parking in the garage conveniently feeding straight into the hotel. Definitely would stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the tub wasn't draining. We picked up the plug and it just came right out along with a chunk of hair (it could almost make a pony tail) attached. Staff promptly took care of it, offered to scrub the tub. Other then that beds were comfortable and rest of the room was clean.

Very decorative interior, that fresh DoubleTree scent that I just want in a candle all around, and easy access right off of I-59, as well as the fancy food choices, make this hotel a must for those visiting Houston.

Clean rooms and pleasant staff. Starbucks coffeeshop, a restaurant, a separate bar facility, and small commissary store on site. Room service is not available. Large pool well kept. Parking in underground garage available for $12.00. Valet parking also available. Beautiful large park-like garden setting at rear of hotel. Nice for a morning, or after dinner stroll. Feather pillows provided. Comfortable beds. Room size is not particularly generous, but well maintained. Individual central A/C and heat, no noise window units! Do plan for a very low clearance in parking garage if you drive a lifted, or oversized vehicle, you may need to consider valet parking.

Comfortable beds, It was quiet and the Starbucks was wonderful. Awesome Bar. Awesome valet crew. Only downside was the staff had no clue how to get the premium internet going. I was shrugged off with a “ I don’t know “ until I called A handful of times bugging them about it after I searched the website high and low. Got a ticket made and spoke with an outsourced company who directly got it fixed for us. In total took about 3 hours. When I checked out and had a small mix up with our billing, the employee rolled her eyes and gave me attitude. Seemed like I inconvenienced her by asking for her assistance.

This is one of my least favorite Double tree locations. The hotel is getting very dated and could use a major refresh. Parking is a challenge for anything larger than a compact SUV plan on paying for valet.

Stayed here for a weekend in September 2017, I loved the hospitality and service. Staff is great and generous, clean and nice hotel. Close to Lakewood Church, even one of the staff workers came to help us walk towards there. Next time I come back to Houston I will come back!

The hotel was easy to find and the staff was pleasant and helpful the minute we arrived. The lobby area is open and inviting… a breathe of fresh air after a long trip. The room was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. Overall, a terrific experience. We will stay again when visiting Houston, for sure.

Quiet hotel located at Greenway Plaza. Conveniently able to enter the underground mall for easy access to a few fast food joints and able to quickly get to other buildings at the plaza without having to go outside. Rooms were clean, bar was well stocked (behind reception) and the Starbucks was a full sized store.

My wife reserved a room for 3 nights online. I made it to the rooms first, so I pay$862.00 for the rooms. When the credit card Text my wife about the purchase unbeknownst to me, it was $300 more than what the online reservation said it was going to be. She calls and finds out that upgrade us to a king size corner room without asking. We had no choice to take the rooms seeing as how this is during Houston BBQ cook-off and no one has rooms near NRG! Adding to this, staff acted like it was an inconvenience having to explain what happened. Overall, not really a place I'm booking in the future!

Parking is terrible, difficult to navigate and too low. To top it off, it took 45 minutes to pay for parking. The line is too long but no assistance is provided else where.

Terrible customer service from reservations, lobby, security (which they don't have). Fatal experience. I had a problem with my car and no one supported me. I ordered strawberries with chocolate and wine to surprise my husband and call to warn that I would arrive late and said that I had nothing in notes and when I get horrible the strawberries all melted and hot! In the Lobby I was ignored at the time of my departure.

My wife and I love visiting this hotel. The cookies are always delicious and free! The hotel is located in a very convenient place. It is easy to get to. It's close to shopping. A good place to stay.

I stayed at the hotel this past weekend and overall had a nice experience. The room was large, very clean and pretty. The bathroom was also quite nice. The woman at the front desk was very nice and funny as well! We received some cookies and she made the process very easy and quick. I wish I had remember her name because she was lovely and funny. My only issue with the stay was the cost of the parking and the cost of water in the vending machine. For overnight parking it was about 24 dollars which I find to be a little high. With the amount being paid for the room, parking should be included or at least validated. It's not as if the parking was being constantly monitered by security or anyone, if it was then I would be more likely to understand the cost due to having to fund the security etc. However, it was just a regular parking garage.

Great hotel, the front desk staff is amazing. I would think twice about going to the bar and grill. The food is good but the service is lacking. The servers and bartenders are fine they just don't staff enough if them.

Great location and very nice staff. Plenty of parking in parking garage and great views of the city from our room. Only issue was the tub drained slow when I took a shower.

Room service was easy and had fast delivery. The magnifying/make up mirror batteries were dead. Glad to hear that the hotel heard my complaint with the kids that were next to me and sent security to the floor, awesome! Very comfortable room.

This hotel services the Greenway Plaza corporate mall. The conference center is nice and the nearby amenities can be robust. But the downside is that sometimes the place becomes a ghost town. Connected underground to The Hub, an underground city of shops and a food court, this epicenter of Greenway Plaza is literally only relevant during lunch hours. Half the shops are open in the morning and by 5pm this area is spooky empty. While not a part of the hotel proper, The Hub is meant to make up for some of the lack of facilities and options in the Double Tree. So if you are in the hotel for the weekend or evening, don't expect to have any options for food or supplies. You are in a corporate mall ghost town. So get a cab and drive to whatever you need instead.

The location of this hotel is great. It's elevated from the surrounding buildings and has great views from the suites. The corner rooms are the best. Multiple on site restaurants and a Starbucks complete the full experience. This DoubleTree is very nice considering there are supposedly higher scale DoubleTree hotels nearby at the Galleria and Downtown Houston. The only drawback, and that is with all DoubleTree hotels. It lacks included breakfast like many of the other Hilton brand hotels.

Flight got in late and I was exhausted from travelling while pregnant. When I arrived and checked in they had a warm chocolate chip cookie and 2 bottled waters for me — — heaven! As for the room, very comfy beds. Bathroom shower area is a little small in the single queen rooms but overall really enjoyed the stay. Shuttle to greenway plaza office buildings helped me in the morning.

The restaurant here has the best service ever. Our waitress Fifi done a top notch job with a smile. She assured that our cups was never empty and that our food was perfect in a timely manner and had a great attitude. I wish that every place that I eat at has great servers and service as this place. One of a kind place and I recommend staying an eating at the Double Tree. Very clean and quiet place.

The food at this restaurant is above awesome! The service was excellent, our waitress Fifi was outstanding. She ensured our food was correct and to our desire multiple times. Never let our drinks fall below half empty and above all she was an unbelievably friendly enjoyable person to be around. Great experience!

The quarts are fine. This hotel always has big events but they only have 4 people in front. It is very slow to enter and you load for Estacioar $24 or more.

Let me just say AMAZING! What a pleasure to work with such a sweet and top notch person. Edna was the best person from beginning to end. We had several guest and wedding party to stay in the hotel for the week. The stay was great. The hotel ballroom and amenities were worth the inclusive pricing. The food was great! The soux chef Jacinda was outstanding. Everyone from the front desk who was the best with organizing the gift baskets, to room service, to valet, our room block coordinator and Edna Valdes who is the best social catering manager ever!

This place is great. The cookies are a great touch when you check in. Rooms are very clean, towels are high quality, beds are super comfortable. Would stay again.

Do not stay here if can be avoided. Paid for a corner suite. Got one with burn holes all over rug and shower selector can't be set correctly to temperature — you either freeze or burn. When they " cleaned" room, all used glasses were left in place, ice bucket was left with melted ice and sheets were not changed, although requested. In addition, left tip and note for 2 extra bath towels, and, you guessed it, took tip but no towels. We come to Houston a lot & are Hilton Rewards members for years. Have never had such a lousy experience. Will NEVER stay here again!

The quietest hotel I have stayed in… and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. View was awesome (adding 2 photos). We never heard our neighbors or noise from above. It was so relaxing. Had our do not disturb sign up for the 4 nights we were there and no one knocked or disturbed us not even on the day we left. We requested more pillows and towels and received them no problem. Room was clean so was my friends room. Front desk was helpful and there is a starbucks in the hotel. The hotel entrance was a little confusing to find but other than that it was a really great experience and if ever in Houston again I would choose this hotel for sure.

Verrrryyyyyyyyyy upset with this location due to a tropical storm my family & I had to stay longer and this afternoon we were quoted a price $160-170 somewhere between there for another night when we had no choice to go ANYWHERE else. I am a first responder & asked if any discount & still she told me nothing. Later I go online and check rates and they dropped SIGNIFICANTLY to 80 bucks which I understand it is a third party BUT you would think they would want to help some kind of way! Literally no stores or anything open & nowhere to travel… still no lower rates even though nobody is going to even be arriving. Completely disgusted & will NEVER stay here again.

The location was convenient to highway, but situated in an area of business high rises, so there were not restaurants or bars other than those in the hotel nearby. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Maid service was late in the afternoon. Valet parking was prompt and courteous. Loud music was being played in neighboring room past midnight and management sent security to address it. It was everything a fine hotel should be, but I don't think I would stay there again.

My family stays here when they visit from out of town. They like it. We had my son's high school graduation dinner here in their restaurant and it was good. This place looks and feels perky.

One of the guests of the hotel somehow ended up with my phone. After tracking it to the hotel the man called and we arranged to pick it up at hotel lobby. Hotel is in Greenway Plaza and isnt easy to find even with Google Maps. Bellmen and front desk were very friendly and thorough. I appreciated the front desk lady taking the time to make sure the phone was in fact mine. The lobby was clean, bright and inviting. The bar looked like a chill place to have a drink. It was Saturday and not many people were there but I imagine with the right group it could be hellva fun.

Hotel looks great and the staff at the front desk is VERY nice. However, their parking garage has a MAX clearance of 6ft which is VERY low. If you have a truck, van or SUV your vehicle will not fit. I asked the front desk and they say you can valet if your vehicle doesn't fit which of course is more expensive. Again, the hotel is wonderful and so are the people but for those of us that own anything besides a sedan you can't park here and it's pretty inconvenient.

Visit the doubletree for a social event, so I was not there for a long time. But during my time there, the workers were very good and the hotel is nice. The only thing I didn't like was the parking garage, and even that was no problem.

Valet damaged my rental car. Didn't notice until at the airport but an entire panel was missing from the right side of the windshield. Definitely didn't do it myself as I am a very conservative driver. Valets are in a huge rush which is not very conducive to a positive experience. Bathrooms were really poorly designed with shower and toilet in a tiny room with no space. Random un matched furniture. Internet not free in room. This is insane and it was also advertised as having free Wi-Fi but doesn't. Parking $22 self overnight, $27 valet (valet damaged my rental). Insane. Cookies have walnuts and no nut free cookies are available. Seriously what idiots put nuts in cookies, are they trying to kill their customers? Maid didn't come by and clean until after 4pm.

We had a 2 day meeting in one of DoubleTree's conference room (20th floor) The service was good and the room was comfortable. The parking was less than ideal as it was a little bit tricky to navigate to and it was expensive.

Doubletree Greenway Plaza: Possibly the worst Doubletree I have stayed at. This one took that spot from the Doubletree in Portland OR. The customer service was OK. No complaints but nothing to praise either, but the room was terrible. If you have read other reviews about this hotel they no doubt mentioned that the rooms are very small and awkwardly designed but it's not like they can really do anything about that. Where they completely failed was in cleanliness of the rooms and appliance function. I was booked to stay at this hotel for 5 nights, moved to a different hotel after the first night. When I got to my room I discovered that the phone, clock, and television were broken, I guess I should congratulate them on the fact that no lights were burned out. When attempting to fix the TV and clock I found lots of trash and used plastic utensils behind almost every price of furniture. The bedding looked clean enough upon visual inspection but in hind sight I will be washing my clothes with bed bug killer just to be safe when I get home. I couldn't call and ask for these items to be fixed and cleaned since the phone didn't work so I just went to sleep. In the morning I was awoken at 8am by housekeeping who seemed to be trying to figure out how to get I to the room since I had flipped the privacy latch (like a chain on the door but not a chain for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, it means they already had the door open a little but could not open all the way.

I was here for a conference and training event. The hotel staff was attentive and the food, provisions, and snack breaks were excellent. The faculty was great for a conference, but they kept the temperature absolutely frigiD. I don't normally take issue with indoor temperature but this place was COLD.

Our rooms had already been paid for, and checked in by our director. Yet, we waited and hour and a half to get a room at 10pm. There excuse was that our rooms were being cleaned which makes no sense. Our room should have been ready by 3pm. Then after they finally checked us in they did not apologize, they said thank you for waiting patiently. I know double tree offers cookies for their guest and they did not even think to offer us or give us any incentive especially after we waited till 11:30 at night to get in a room. Then my truck was given complimentary valet since it was to big for the garage. They said it woukd be a 10 minute wait once I phoned in to have it ready. I waited thirty minutes. Then I went and asked the valet service about my truck and nobody had even written down my number or was even attempting to get my truck. Worst service I've had at a hotel.

Gorgeous hotel. The facilities are very nice, spacious, and clean. Only complaint is that odor from the designated smoking area nearby wafted in near our conference room.

The place was nice. Had an event there in one of the ballrooms. Service was excellent and prompt.

If its above a 3 they work here! I'm an hhonors member. This has to be at the bottom of there hotels. It's the worse Hilton I have stayed in. I'm not conceded it's a Hilton so at there worse they are better than 60%. But it's old facilities, staff knows nothing even in the day and parking garage is odd. The breakfast just go some place else $34.00 for 2 plates of fake eggs. It's old and cleaning is ok. Sigris is bad dirty plates horrible pricing. I have had better on a plane. Bar looks good but didn't get a chance. Beds confortable and clean. If you are just crashing hitting Starbucks then gone it ok. If you are looking to do anything else check else were.

This is a nice hotel, the staff is friendly and greets you throughout the day. I've stayed here at least three times and have no complaints. The breakfast is a little pricey but the staff is friendly and the food is pretty fresh. The parking is a little confusing at first especially when Lakewood church is having a session.

Me and my friends stayed 1night there for $165 plus $25 parking fee. We arrived at the hotel last Thursday night 10/08/2015 and checked in and got ready to leave to roam around the area. But as we were leaving the parking lot, the gate did not let us out, making us pay the parking fee while we were already supposed to pay it with the hotel cost. We came back to the hotel and told them the next morning about what happened. They offered us a refund and told us that they will send a check through the mail and call us about it. So they double charged us for parking fee. It has been 5 days and we haven't been contacted until we actually had to call them. In my opinion, this was the worst costumer service I have ever had in my life. If you are taking care of a customer about a cost or a refund, hospitality should come into play. Taking initiative and giving a customer a refund does not take a lot of effort and time. Next time, please take in consideration and show customers good honesty and integrity so you will not have the same problem again.

Standard Doubletree facilities with substandard customer service. Upon check-in I was never once thanked for being a Hilton Honors Dimond member, I was never offered their signature Doubletree Chocolate chip cookie, nor did I recive a very warm welcome. I wasn't given the room that I picked when I e-signed in thru the Hilton Honors application (wrong room, wrong floor, wrong type) I asked to be moved to a different room everyday; after 3 days of being told no other room types are available to me nor would they be during the last 2 days of my stay. No 3 days in a row: I had enough. When I was disrespected during a conversation with a representative and than furthermore ignored. I decided it was time to find more suitable accommodations. I left for a night and decided to check back in. They were very accommodating regarding my request to check-in early and in honoring my original room rate. Although they forgot again their signature cookie and this time the room key (Witch a different agent eventually made for me). After being told the shuttle could take me to the light rail station and waiting quiet awhile for it to become available I'm than brought 1 mile away from my destination and told that's as far as they could take me. When I spoke to the front desk and asked if they could help by making am exception being it was just one mile diffrence, they said "No" there's nothing she could do.

Staff are not accommodating Customer service is lousy Parking in the maze for $18 or valet at $27 that is a rip off not to mention $12:95 for Internet.

This hotel was beyond awesome. The staff was very polite, professional, and went the extra mile to make my stay great. This was one of the best hotel experiences that I've ever had. Paying for parking was kind of so-so, but it was a minor fee for the great experience I had at the hotel.

Pros: In room safe that allows you to store your valuables and lock them up with your own 4-digit PIN. Comfy beds and pillows Very nice room with plenty of space Cons: NO FREE IN ROOM INTERNET ACCESS! You would think, at $200+ a night, you should provide free in room Wi-Fi. There are hotel chains charging less than $100 a night that provide free Wi-Fi, yet this "prestigious" hotel sees fit to charge $12.95 per day for access to their network. I was there for a business trip and really could have used the Wi-Fi, but I would not pay for it. I arrived on Sunday afternoon and noticed it wanted to charge me. I called the front desk and asked for a passcode, they said I would have to pay for it. At checkout they asked about my stay and I told them I was unhappy about them charging for Wi-Fi. They told me that the it was supposed to be free for me during my stay for the event I was there for. Still, they should not be charging for this service. Free breakfast on every morning except the day you check out. We had to pay for our breakfast buffet on the day we checked out. I protested that we were guests and they told us that since it was checkout day that we had to pay for the breakfast buffet. Overall, the room was very, very nice, but, the cons of this hotel really made it someplace that I would not stay at again. In the hotel industry, free in room Wi-Fi is pretty standard, but not here.

My disabled wife and I arrived at the hotel and quickly realized there is no handicapped parking. We had to use the valet parking. We had to pay $18.00 a day for parking. There was no free Internet. The hotel charged $12.95 a day for Internet use. There was no microwave in the room. However, there was a fridge. There was not a snack section. The television had a very limited choice of shows to look at. We have stayed at motels, priced much cheaper, that provide free parking and free internet with microwaves in the rooms and snacks available. I will not return to this hotel or any DoubleTree hotel anywhere.

Wonderful hotel! Joslyan in room service was so helpful when our team sought to surprise a coworker for her birthday! They truly went out of their way to ensure that we were taken care of and could not have been kinder or more helpful.

Worst hotel ever, would never return for a function, event or stay. Awful customer service and poor communication. If you are smart you will choose somewhere else.

Very good location, acceptable cleaning and services in relation to the price of the very successful hotel, again without a doubt.
