This hotel was in the final stage of renovation. I was the first guest to occupy the newly renovated room. It was perfect. The young man who checked me in and out was very friendly and polite. I enjoyed my stay here.

Being refurbished right now, but the staff and workers were exceptionally polite and helpful. Constryended by 5, cleanup by 7. Rooms very nice. Location great for all area medical offices. Good Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Pool is small.

Our visit was fine. Room was decent, with full beds. It is under renovation, so there was a lot of dust and places blocked off. Parking was a bit of an issue as well. I'm not sure how well the bathroom was cleaned because there was soap left in the tub and hair on the floor. We were too tired to care. Breakfast was standard.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. I'm already a repeat customer and will continue to be. I stayed in a newly refurbished room but the redecoation was poorly slapped together. The glue wasn't fully dried and there was still construction dust. But the service is very kindly.

Pretty cool inn, was stay in here for my mom in the hospital and they gave me a discount for it. 80$ a night which I'm really grateful for. I put four stars because at the time… it was under construction.

Our vehicle was broken into during out stay. The rooms were nice and newly remodeled but the security issue needs to be addressed as several other people had issues as well.

This hotel is excellent in many aspects. The price really worth it. All renovated, the staff is very friendly, will treat you really well. Don’t go to the other La Quinta on Av. Q you’ll gonna pay the same for less than half quality and treatment. They’ll make you never come back.

We stayed at this hotel 3/22/2018. The entire property was under construction; the building had no sign or other indication that is was a La Quinta, or even a hotel at all. After reaching the building, we had to call There was construction equipment filling most of the parking lot. Inside, the carpets were ripped up and construction debris and supplies were piled in the corridors. Guests were forced to navigate through a construction site to access their rooms and services like ice machines, etc. There was no attempt to isolate the guest-accessible areas from the construction zone. Worst of all, there was no indication on La Quinta's reservation website that any of this was going on, so of course we had no idea until it was too late. The property should have been closed for this level of renovation, but apparently the company made the decision to try to keep some revenue coming in by deceiving guests. I'm sure the place will be nice when the renovation is done, but the willingness of La Quinta to treat its guests in this manner is an indication of their lack of concern for their customers. We will never stay here again.

Nice place, clean, quite and allows dogs. This particular loction is under construction still. Down side is no vending machines and they off w/o a drinks for a outrages 3.00 each. Complete hussle on drinks! Would give it 5 star rating if they would not try killing on on a drink!

I was there over the Christmas holiday. Despite the holiday the staff was very attentive. The room was clean and very nice.

Despite the fact that there was construction on the site there was no noise in my room it was a very pleasant Hotel. Very comfortable and very clean. Nicely decorated. Good service!

Overall it was ok. The hot breakfast is not great. The updated rooms are good. But they need to hire a better contractor during the renovations. The paint job in the rooms looks like it was done by a lazy person. If your use to a certain standard from La Quinta, don't expect it here.

The king suite was great. Lots of room and bed was comfortable. Sad that there was no tea in the room for the evening/morning. Breakfast was limited, but okay. Batter for waffles must have had baking soda instead of baking powder. Waffles tasted salty and left a slight foamy feel in the mouth. I hope they fix the breakfast because the room was great and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Decent budget hotel, dated, could be cleaner (see pic from bathroom). The staff is friendly. It's directly across from the freeway. Free breakfast till 10am. Our rooms do not have a "do not disturb" sign. Free Unsecured Wi-Fi. One of our bed's wooden bases squeaks loudly when you lay on the bed. Update: We ended up being moved to a remodeled room and the new rooms are very nice. It's an entirely different experience. Make sure you ask for a remodeled room.

The fact that they allow dogs to stay for free (with a signature stating you are responsible for damages) had me loving it before I arrived. The rooms were very comfortable and clean! Who doesn't love free breakfast? The staff was very nice and helpful. I thoroughly enjoy my stay.

This was our second time staying on property. The staff has been very friendly both times. We love the proximity to Texas Tech since that is the reason why we were there both times. The rooms we stayed in both times were recently renovated and nice on the inside despite the older look of the outside of the hotel. The room we had this time had a funky smell like it had been smoked in previously, but it wasn't overly bothersome. Our only issue with this hotel is the parking lot. The parking lot is not overly large. We came in late at night and therefore had to park around back both nights. There are no cameras and there are numerous signs indicating a possible problem with theft, not to leave belongings behind, park at your own risk, hotel not responsible for theft etc. That is for good reason… There is clearly a problem. Luckily we had no issue the first night when we had two trucks loaded to the gills with a freshman's belongings, but after the second night's stay we came out and our vehicle had been burglarized. We didn't report it to the hotel right away due to the "park at your own risk" signs and the actual "theft" wasn't enough to contact police for.

The facade looked really dated (re: old) and we were skeptical. We've had some BAD experiences with old-looking La Quinta hotels. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The atrium impressed me of the bat. The rooms face inward, which reminds me of some upscale more expensive hotels. Our room was smallish, but not the smallest we've stayed in. We were impressed either the decoration in our room. It had been recently updated. Everything was clean and in order. Highly recommended.

Nice updated "painted" rooms. Shower head/plumbing could use major updating. We did not eat breakfast. Stairwells could use a new coat of paint they were gross, elevators were nice, pool was not that great no hot tub. Overall stay was pleasant "one night" staff was friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Decent gotel for the price. Not a top notch room, but served its purposed. Breakfast was again decent but not the best.

House keepers are sketchy if you forget something is in the room. Its a struggle to get back or if that. Daughter left her stuffed animal when I called was told by front desk that they didn't know where they keep the carts and nothing was turned by them. FYI don't leave anything behind or you won't get it back.

Bed was hard as a tock, paper thin walls, and our non-smoking room smelled like an old ashtray. The carpet in the room was… suspect. We didnt want to walk barefoot. The toilet ran (LOUDLY) all night long. The ONLY reason I gave it ANY stars was because they didn't charge a pet fee for my dog.

Slept well, very nice rooms. But someone's car was broken into while I was there and the bathroom was nasty.

The main area was huge and a very cool open space. The rooms were a little dated however, but still very clean and spacious. For the money I really liked it and would recommend to friends of mine.

Nice hotel, and it did smell of smoke on the first two floor, but the smell went away for me on the 3rd floor.

There is nothing positive to say about this hotel. Our room had a strong odor. The carpet was stained, bedding had stains, broken vent in the bathroom, stained shower/tub, mildew shower curtain. I am not sure our room had been swept or mopped in months. There was bodily hair on the floor and shower. Read the reviews before you stay here. They are accurate and do not lie.

The company I work for at one point always booked with La Quinta for our out of town trips. But after this last stay I will do whatever I can to change that. The room I stayed in was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. There were beer bottle tops all over the floor and hair all over the tile in front of the sink. Obviously the sheets had been changed only because they smelled clean. I hope anyway. Other than that NOTHING else had been done before I got there. And I got there at 930PM. No excuses. The people that had the room behind me obviously lived there and were fighting ALL night. Didn't know this was " that kind of hotel"! Another girl that lived there was walking around up stairs in a shirt and panties. I know she lived there cause I asked here. Again if I have anything to do with it my company will never use La Quinta again. This place is disgusting. You should be seriously embarrassed to be a part of this hotel. And if you are not then I understand these conditions.

Shower was dirty… room was dirty… went to upgrade because of dirty room and still had to wear shower shoes! Me and my children were uncomfortable! Yuck!

Great service, clean, and very nice inside! My family if 5 fit perfectly in the spacious rooms and the breakfast was perfect for us all.

This is our 3rd time at least since we came to this hotel. I would have to say that we will never book a room in this hotel again! In the past we complained and nothing much was done. The 2nd time that we booked in a room in this hotel the bathroom light did not work, and since the maintenance people are so inefficient, the front desk person offered us to change rooms. As soon as we arrived after booking our room for 2 nights, one of the first things that we realized was that there was a urine like smell originating from the bathroom. As soon as I took a shower the drain was clogged, so therefore I had to wait for 5-10 minutes. The towels that we used for to dry ourselves and wash our face had a bad smell, a type of smell when a cloth is not well washed. Not only that I found a hair on one of the towels. There are parts and surfaces that look like they have not been well washed/scrubbed. Another thing that we found in the bathroom was that the bottom part of the shower curtains had mold. So we told the front desk about the shower curtain having mold, and he said that they will have a person replace the shower curtain within a few hours. As it turns out the shower curtain was never replaced! I would like to add that the shower was not well cleaned as well, you could see the black stuff on the bathtub. Also the night stand was not well cleaned including the T. V remote control in which it was greasy.

We checked in to the hotel on 6/25/14 and checked out on 6/26/14. This is an old building and it tells in the plumbing. The bathroom faucet drains very slow and the tub even slower. We took a shower in about 1 1/2" of water due to slow draining water. The shower head is loose and the tub faucet is loose where you can turn it around. The complimentary breakfast is the lamest one that I experience on our trip and this was our third La Quinta Inn that we stayed at. The value of this hotel room should be way below $100. The ice machines on the 4th and 3rd floor did not work.

We stayed a few months ago. I asked for a room on the bottom floor when I made a reservation and they put us on the top floor! They had plenty of room on the ground floor and I insisted on room. There was hardly anyone staying at the hotel at all. They said I did not ask when booking. Not true. I asked why they had no phone books and I was told they were trying to save money and paper. The phone company delivers phone books free. The place is filthy and not worth the money to stay there. The woman at the desk was rude and not at all interested in customer satisfaction.

Had a great time! I work for Pacific Equipment and the whole crew stayed here. Very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice. Would love to go back these other people gotta be talking about a different hotel.
