When we checked in at around 10 PM on 06/23/18, there was a male employee who was checking us in and I specifically asked if the hot tub was working because I wanted to get in. This employee said yes. My sister and I went to our room and put on our swimsuits and went downstairs and got in the hot tub. After about 15 minutes, this same employee came to the hot tub area by the gate and yelled at us to get out because the hot tub area was closed and we should have not even been in it because there was a sign that said pool was closed. First of all, I don't expect to be yelled at when I stay at a hotel. Second, the sign said pool, not hot tub. Third, I specifically asked before I checked in about the hot tub so he knew I was getting in, he could have said something at that moment instead of rudely yelling at us from a far so everyone around can hear. I really don't appreciate it and won't be staying there ever again.

Clean, Older, Nice, very "Lubbock" feeling decor. One of the nicest, older, Days Inn we've stayed at. We will definitely stay here again! Good breakfast options except there wasn't any meat. Hot eggs, biscuits, gravy, cereal, yogurt, coffee, the regular. Nice staff as well!

Filthy rooms, carpet extremely dirty! The staff started out okay until I told them the rooms were filthy, breakfast terrible… not enough choices and the eggs were cooked poorly! We asked for no one to enter our room — they came in anyway…! This was a total disgrace and disappointment! The towels smelled horrible with brown spots on them! Overall horrible place to stay and we will NEVER STAY AT DAYS INN ANYMORE! How could you get unprofessional with a customer and yell at them because they tell the truth about their experiences? If we had a good experience, then there would be an exceptional review! THAT DIDN'T OCCUR! So DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL! You live and you learn!

Rooms smelled. Kids in the pool were acting crazy while employees just walked around and didn't care. We found a cigarette butt in our bed and we had a non smoking room.

Check in staff was so kind and accommodating. Room smelled very good but not too strong. Rooms were clean and the manager even went beyond her duties to help my son and me. Quiet and peaceful. Glad I have them a try. I almost didn't after reading the reviews but thankful I did.

Nice rooms, nice staff, year around indoor pool, very big indoor courtyard around the pool. Also they recommended a delivery service that served incredibly good steaks with surprisingly good side orders. Plus the complimentary breakfast was the usual to be expected and it was served in a nice area with ample seating. Overall I would gladly stay in there again and I definitely recommend it.

Clean. Nice and helpful staff. A bit noisy because of the atruim design and I could hear every step of the person above me. Unfortunately, even the non-smoking rooms reek of smoke due to proximity to smoking rooms. Very hard to relax and be comfortable with the smell. Front desk gave me some febreeze and she was understanding, but hotel was full so I couldn't move. Not sure it would have mattered. Breakfast served until 10am but was pretty much gone by 9:20. Would not stay here again unless I had no choice.

This may be the worst hotel in the world. Pool had 50 or so people in it at all hours who were screaming yelling and splashing. It was occupied by people not staying at the hotel who brought their own towels, coolers, and folding chairs from home. Some of the guys were swimming in t shirt and boxers, front desk didn't care and noise continued through 10pm. Both ice makers broken. Fridge doesn't get cold. Dirty blankets on bed. Breakfast was good. Also housekeeper guy stinks and has the appearance of a homeless.

Check in staff was incredibly rude and unfriendly. I contracted food poisoning in the early hours of the morning, and asked for some hot water and a packet of tea, and I was informed that breakfast wouldn’t start until 6 am and I could get tea then, even though I was very sick. Customer service is horrible, I would never come back here again.

Hate to write a bad review but it was going great until housekeeping started cleaning rooms upstairs at 12:45AM… called to complain because the housekeeper was slamming the furniture up against the walls. Went on for 45 min. Was told by the front desk that it was managements choice to have it done at that time! Came back from our day to a uncleaned room, no towels, no coffee, no cups. Asked for towels from the front desk and was told we had to wait on housekeeping. Just a bad experience.

The room has all of the basics you need. I stopped in on my way to corpus from d enver around midnight and was/ am greatful for the great price ($44) and breakfast included. Everything was clean aside from some inevitable spots here and there but my baby was ecstatic getting a much needed stretch of her legs and having a clean room to play hide and seek. Dust free and everything. The front clerk was super kind and gave us a room away from the others so I could let her loose without disturbing anyone being that it was midnight. And it is great they leave you with soaps when a lot of places under $60 Do not. Also, to other mom's who have messy babies, the bath tub does have a stopper.

Was happy just to get a place to stay in Lubbock. Texas tech graduation was going on. The staff was very kind. Rooms clean but breakfast the whole weekend had no bacon or sausage.?

This is not a place to stay if you are in town for awhile. We are visiting family and didn't realize the location. It's awful! Besides being woken up by the highway right across the street, the room was awful! No cold water, torn carpet and office chair. The maid didn't bother to clean our sink or bathroom. And didn't replenish our tissue. The door didn't even have a complete seal as you could see light through the bottom of it. Not to mention keeping the heat on all night because the door would let the outside air in. Definitely not recommended for long stays. Or quality room.

For the price of about $96 it wasn't too bad just for a overnight stay. A few things I didn't like were: the smell of cigarette smoke in the room despite being non-smoking; stains on the sofa/ottoman; and rips in carpet which needs to be replaced or at least shampooed. However, the customer service was good, the king size bed was adequate, nice fridge in the room, it looks nicer on the inside than it did on the outside. For breakfast the served eggs (fake), biscuits, bananas, yogurt, cereal, milk, juices, oatmeal, and suppiled a waffle maker. Despite some of the cosmetic issues I would give them a second chance in the near future when I have to come back to visit my son who is attending school Lubbock, Texas. Just take care of the smell of cigarettes.

Room was pretty good, however there was a smell of cigarette smoke in the night that crept into our room through the vents. And the hot tub could have been warmer. But overall was a fine stop.

The room was clean. The bed was firm. I liked that they had a hot breakfast included in the room price. The interior where the pool is and breakfast is served is very nice. It was very handy that they had a washer and dryer in premise. Greatly appreciated 2 queen size beds. Good deal for the Price!

This days inn was nice the rooms were clean. Our toilet stopped working when we were there but the staff was accommodating. And moved us immediately. But the breakfast had a lot to be desired, bisquets were doughy and the gravy didn't taste right. But our front desk lady Talia did her best to right the inconveniences. When using the Google maps to get to the destination don't take the final right turn it puts you on a one way street.

I chose this hotel because of the great rates I was able to find. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the location and the size of the room/bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was delicious (fluffy biscuits and a waffle maker! ). The staff was courteous and housekeeping was thorough. The pool is indoors, which was nice. The area between the lobby and the rooms was a little warm (since fans were pulling air from outside), but the rooms were air conditioned and felt great. We would definitely stay here again! :)

Friendly staff. Nice big bathtubs. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Smoking room didn't have that awful cigarette smell that most places have. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Would stay again!
